Horrendous
This was the worst theatre experience that I have had in 47 years!!!! From the moment we walked in a member of staff was shouting at us… shouting!!!! Then we got into the BRILLIANT performance of Frankie Boyle (sensational) and it was like we were being held against our will. The last 25mins of the performance we could not see ANYTHING because 2 members of staff were in front of us trying to make an audience member leave because he had dared to go to the toilet and should not have come back in. When other members of the audience asked them to move they were told to ‘f@&k off’. Completely ruined the night and we have no idea what frankie boyle performed for the last quarter. Wrong on so many levels. This was a ridiculous.
We visited for a ballet. We were in 2 end seats on row B in the circle and the seats were excellent. The leg room is good compared to some theatres and the seats were comfy. We could see the performance well, just missing a tiny bit off one side when they were close to the edge. I do not choose the front row on the circle as I cannot see clearly over the ledge on the front; I am 5 foot 2 and the ledge is quite high which would restrict my view. A very impressive theatre with good sound.
