We visited this wonderful cafe many times on our recent visit to traben trarbach. It is very unusual as the traffic passes underneath you as you enjoy fabulous views of the Moselle river

Beautiful gate on the bridge between Traben and Trarbach.

We were in town for the Mosel-Wein-Nachts-Market. The gate provides a beautiful entry onto the bridge over the Moselle.

If you are in the neighbourhood, stop and take a look around. If not, keep driving...

Traben-Trarbach is a neat village on the Mozel. It has some classic houses and the bridge head is nice, but don't make this your primary destination. Visit of passing by, otherwise just keep going.

A beautiful entry. But the new pink and green bridge colours are dreadful. They need to return to the old colours.
