Overall, staff are lovely, hotel super clean, rooms well done with nice bathtubs. Location is fine. Short walk to lots of nice restaurants/bars. Pool is great for kids. Not salt water, well laid out, not cold. But, food on some days was inedible. Like, seriously bad. Hardly any choice, and what is there, is either raw, tinned, or just very poor quality produce. It’s very budget. Defo not 4 star at all. I’m not sure you could even argue it was 3. For an all inclusive, most people eat out everyday for lunch/dinner and just use the hotel for drinks and breakfast. Drinks are alright. The ice tasted like the machine doesn’t get cleaned much though. So we avoided that. You have to put down a €1 deposit for a plastic reusable cup round the pool. Which cheapens the feel of the hotel. The hotel say it’s to avoid them being binned and to save plastic, but they should give out a token on arrival in that case. It feels a bit like a way to squeeze a bit more money out of people (as a lot get lost) and save on glass collectors. The poolside sunbed drama is a bit ridiculous too. There are lots of sunbeds on the sun deck available 24hrs a day. But around the pool the sunbeds are padlocked up until 10am, so people are stood waiting from 9-9.30. Which you have to do if you want a sunbed next to the pool to watch your kids, you have to do. As there is just the main pool area, I don’t know how you’d change this, unless you just took towels off peoples beds if they were gone longer than 1 hour. Lifeguards were great though, nice, friendly, very observant. There is only one bar serving alcoholic drinks at night too, which is a bit of a walk from the entertainment auditorium. They close the pool bar next to it. Which is possibly done to avoid people drinking much at night. Entertainment was good. Stuff going on in the day and then various things at night. Overall, we had a lovely holiday. The hotel has the potential to be really good. If they spent more on food quality / prep.

WORTH a read, I e-mailed in advance for a room that had sunshine on the terrace in the afternoon. We were given such a lovely 2 bedroom near the pool, modern and very clean 1024, quick easy and informative check in. We arrived and went straight to dinner 7-9pm. We found this hotel so relaxing, the staff were so friendly especially Rodrigo in the restaurant. Entertainment was fun especially the BINGO, they could do with more family quiz in the evening. Great bowling and pool area. It's on a great bus route and a 10 minute walk to the square or 4 euro taxi ride. The market is on in the square on a Wed and Fri night worth a visit for the buzz. We also did an awesome boat trip on Katfish boat, highly recommend it. The reason I have given a 4 star and not a 5 is because the evening food wasnt great, they recycle alot of breakfast stuff. Breakfast has been great. The hotel star and photos don't do it justice, clean hotel, love the salt saline pool and its not as cold once you jump in, inflatables and balls allowed. Lanzarote can be windy so pool pegs are needed. We have loved our week here. The rooms have a fridge with a small freezer, a separate washing line outside your room, laundrette on site. Supermarket right on the corner. Perfect resort. I would definitely book here again.

I stayed here for seven nights, half-board, in August 2024. It is a beautiful hotel, we especially enjoyed the entertainment and the swimming pool. Sunbeds were always available, though it might have been because we usually approached the pool in the late afternoon, when most of the other guests had vanished. The restaurant boasted a dinner menu of impressive variety. At breakfast, I prefer to confine myself to cereal, but the cooked items were plentiful and meticulously arranged. Our daughter, who has food allergies, found support in the attentions of Maria and Pablo, who were extraordinarily helpful in accommodating her needs. We learned it was best to consult them a day in advance, and in accordance with the changes in the menu. The commonly encountered music in Lanzarote was noticeably different to the other parts of Spain I have visited. I mean this not as a criticism as it is probably understandable for those more familiar than I, but if you anticipate the vibrant, haunting melodies of Spanish guitar and the rhythmic pulse of flamenco then this is the exception. Expect plenty of English pop songs; invariably 30 to 50 year old relics from a bygone era. Like many British supermarkets, Lanzarote has anchored its music in a distant past. Prior to our arrival, we had requested a refurbished family room, complete with a large, roofless balcony, for an additional ten euros per night, to be paid upon arrival. We were, indeed, pleased with the room, which had a good shower, ample storage, and a commodious bedroom and living room. Located on the third floor, it was perpetually windy, and each morning, when we opened the door, the sea breeze hit us with an energising force. Make sure to wedge the door hanger into the doorway as you close it lest it will blow away! Beneath the kitchenette worktop was a fridge freezer alongside a bin cupboard. Two matters required careful consideration. Firstly, we kept all the internal doors closed at night, particularly the bin cupboard door and the doors to the kitchenette. Secondly, the kitchenette worktop was not suitable for food storage or for keeping anything used in the preparation of meals. It is strictly a place for washing up. Within a short walking distance, there were numerous supermarkets — such as Hyperdino Express and Spa. As for excursions outside the hotel, several places stood out for us: • Portobello, a family-run Italian restaurant just two minutes away, really helpful when it comes to allergies • Jungle River Crazy Golf - four-minute walk away. • Playa de Cucuras, six minutes away, a beautiful beach, and a promenade that ran alongside it with restaurants and shops, ideal for twilight strolls. • Playa del Jablillo an 18-minute walk as we took a scenic route — a path that required passing through Playa de Cucuras. A small sandy beach, surrounded by rocks, where fish swam fearlessly around our feet, untroubled by our presence. • Aquapark, a five-minute drive away, was accessible via a tax

Just returned from a week long stay All inclusive. We came last year and this year brought more people, we were a group of 11 including 2 young children. I would say we had the same experience pretty much to the year before, I don't think the hotel has changed too much. Check-in was a bit all over the place, it seemed as they had selected who was staying in each room out of our group which made the process a little bit longer but it wasn't anything drastic. The rooms were great as always, no issues at all. The restaurant was clean, and great staff who would always interact with the young children. After the first day, they would always have a table ready to fit all 11 of us on and have a high chair near by. The pools were nice and warm and clean (we only used the kids pool and the warm one). We didn't ever find any issues with getting sunbeds, for 11 of us we'd usually get about 8 and manage to get them all together. We didn't tend to watch the entertainment so can't comment on that unfortunately. For some improvements: - As a fussy eater, I didn't find much food that I could eat, I do think the food wasn't as good as last year. The food was occasionally cold. Everyone else however tended to get a good plate each night, with their being less variety on certain occasions - Food wasn't always correctly labelled. I'm vegetarian and had a few occasions where food was labelled wrong and I almost ate meat. - One member of our group got ill off what we think could have been the chicken. - The lifeguard seemed to never be around. And when they were, it took other people coming over to tell him things that were happening before he acted on it. On one occasions a group of people were throwing stones into the pool and it took a guest to go and tell him before he went to stop it. - Females can wear open toed shoes at night but males can't. Saw many men get turned away at night for their footwear. It seems quite sexist. - The turtles! Please bring them back, our 4 year had been so excited about seeing turtles in the hotel and then was left disappointed. We did find out this was due to costs but it was one of our favourite aspects the year before.

We stayed for 1 week in a superior 1 bed apartment. For the price we paid for our stay we were so pleased with this hotel. Our room was set back from the main frontage but had an amazing sea view. We were spoilt having sun beds on the balcony which made it a lovely sun trap for sunbathing in the afternoons. The apartment and hotel were immaculately clean. Our block had no lift and we were on the top floor, however the receptionist pointed this out at check in and asked if we were ok with that. We were pleased with the room we were offered but requested help with our suitcases on arrival and departure. The staff were more than happy to offer assistance and we thought it was well worth a small tip for this service. It was my mom’s birthday whilst staying at the hotel so was pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of complimentary wine in the room with a note wishing my mom a happy birthday. Such a lovely gesture. We had no problem getting sun beds by the pool, although could see it maybe a problem when the hotel is busier. For us we loved our stay and would definitely return. Thank you to all the staff who made our stay special.

Just back from an amazingly relaxing week staying at the Oasis Lanz. From the moment my daughter and I arrived to the moment we left, we were able to totally relax in the beautiful, clean and classy surroundings. Everything felt so easy, like the hotel had thought of all our needs and provided them without us having to ask. The room was huge, clean, comfy bed, lovely big balcony with handy clothing rack for drying wet clothes, fridge, safe, TV etc. Everything worked and was in great condition. Room was made up daily, fresh towels etc and felt like new coming back after the cleaners had been in. Breakfast was superb, plenty of tables, no waiting to be seated. Very chilled vibe, lots of choices and everything I sampled was delicious from cooked breakfast to freshly made pancakes. We spent a lot of time at the pool nearest our room and loved it. Clean, perfect temperature, loads of loungers and the poolside bar for refreshments! On the odd occasion we needed something (taxi booked to airport/somewhere to leave bags after check out/ grab a shower before leaving) the staff at reception couldn't have been more helpful. Location wise it's perfect, so close to both beaches, restaurants and shops. Thanks for a great stay and hope to get back.
