Villa di Furano

Excellent hotel with great onsen and staff service. We got a free upgrade to supreme twin room at Checkin even the hotel was quite full. We were very impressed with the room, the 3 private and public onsens and all the refreshments such as ice cream, popsicles, yakult pre midnight ramen and coffee orange juice and tea provided throughout the day and night during the stay. Front desk staff speak good English and very helpful. The rooms bedding is comfortable except the pillows were a bit hard. Onsen was excellent with both indoor and outdoor and sauna. We are pleased with the hotel parking next to hotel and very pleased with the stay. Greatly recommend!

周邊環境安靜，房間整潔，但沒有早餐；距離富良野車站大概步行10分鐘左右。在這個地段算是性價比比較高的。步行不太遠的地方，有巴士可以坐到新王子酒店，可以參觀精靈露台和森之時計咖啡館。

Finally got to Furano for the first time after 9 days in Nisko and Rusutsu. Happy to say that the resort, mountain and snow was very good and we will definitely be back. The hotel rooms that we had, double king superior where excellent. Small Japanese bathroom but did the job easily. Very comfortable. breakfast was a 3.5 / 5 but still good and recommended. The Onsen was the highlight. One of the best male and female we have been to. Very chic... Staff were very very good and helpful. Ski rentals in house also. Location from town and to resort was terrific. We used he free hotel shuttle each day but mainly walked down the hill back which was a 10-minute walk. (...you could have skied) A lot of good restaurants in each direction of a ten-minute walk.... I'd stay here again for sure and will when we go back. Good value for money and facilities. Gabriel and Neil made us feel at home. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Nothing! We had a sick baby upon arrival, and Neil drove us to the hospital which gave us one less thing to worry about during a stressful time. Both managers assisted us with bookings and groceries. The accommodation itself is perfect - enough space, laundry, well appointed kitchen (with dishwasher), and location is top notch. The only thing that could be improved is a self latching hinge on the drying room door, as we came back one day to an open door which puts the gear at risk. That said, the location is incredibly safe and so the risk would be extremely low. Apart from that, every aspect of this accommodation is perfect and sooooo easy for a family with children. The bedding is incredibly comfortable as well. My mother, who is in her 70s, commented also on the bedding. We will definitely be back. Thanks again, Gabriel and Neil :-D

Highest praise to this inn’s fantastic staff, specially Carla, Sigi, Yuki, and Amana! They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant: booking cabs, helping us book a bus tour (Japanese only website), and always accommodating. Their English was very good, so communicating was easy. Thank you! This is not a hotel: it is an inn, and the room is more a bedroom in a house, but charming. Breakfast is good, with the main course plated; no choices (so don’t expect a buffet). What was a nice surprise was a daily late afternoon cocktails (they call it “welcome drinks”) which lasts until late in evening, and includes whisky, wines, juice, and yogurt milk. And daily free coffee (espresso type) which was particularly good! The free shuttle pick up and drop off when you check in and check out is very useful, and saves you the price of 2 cab rides (approx US$22). Be warned on Furano Station: no elevator, so you need to climb up then down steep stairs to get to the platform! Not easy with big luggages! Negatives: while room was charming and large by Japan standards, the bathroom was tiny, so if you are a plus size, you bathe with your body hitting the shower curtain or wall. Location is far from everything, so you need to take cabs all the time, with each 1-way trip to the town center costing approx. US$9-10. Nearest convenience store is maybe 15mins away, and an uphill climb back. The onsen (traditional Japanese bath) is an artificial hot springs, but a pleasant experience. A charming town, and I would consider going back to this inn if I go back to Furano.

Owner was there to check us in. There were 4 cabins and u could set your number lock on arrival to get in/out during stay. 4 carpark lots for the 4 cabins so one each. Cabin had everything u need. (power outlets/hot water/bedding/kitchenette). Close to town (short drive) or there are walkable restaurants too. Clean room, comfy bedding. Recommended!
