We had an exam at nit durgapur. Wr booked this hotel's 2 rooms. The gost was very low although we booked at a very later stage. Station to hotel was 180- by auto and hotel to nit was 30- per head by toto.

Very average property near Durgapur Barrage. An erstwhile Govt property and now has been leased to a private operator. River Damodar is 3-4 minutes walk from this property. Room and bathroom in the 1st floor are ok but are little shabby and old fashioned. The front corridor looks unassuming, if not ugly. They will give you 2 very small medimix soap and 2 shampoo pouch as ”bathroom toiletries”. What surprised us is the poor and almost worn out condition of the bath-towels. It seems they don't have sufficient staffs to manage the show. Intercom was not functional. We had to call a particular staff (on his mobile) for small issues. But the staffs tried there best to meet our expectation but without that professional touch. May be they need some basic training to look after their guests. The locality doesn't offer any scenic beauty excepting a few trees.

Kudos to the team fortune Durgapur u definitely wear hospitality on ur sleeves. No doubts little souls even had a wonderful & safe stay too. Neat and clean hotel room, dinning hall and the lounge. Staffs are well behaved and prompt. Billing is quick. Housekeeping and dinning response is quick. Cab is also available with the hotel. Rooms charges are also optimum. It's stay is price worthy. Food rates are also at reasonable price. All together the stay is economical. Whatever is expected from a good hotel, all the facilities are available. Room services are good. Daily newspaper delivery in room is also an added advantage to get aware of the world. Distance from railway station is only 3 km. The hotel is located on main road, so transport is available at door step.

it was great staying there and the hospitality we got was even more unexpected. it is centrally located and the places you want to visit from there are very much near if you calculate it. There is junction mall 10 mins walking distance. Carnival cinema hall, big bazar 5 mins walking distance. and the bus stand is near to it too.

This property is situated just next to manoj cinema hall, approx 4 kms from asansol junction railway station. You will get auto from railway station or tot o from just outside of railway gate. Property is nice, big rooms, ample of parking place. Manager was good. Very helpful. We informed the manager that we will do late checking around 4:30 pm and rooms were ready when we arrived. Delux ac rooms were big, plenty of space to move around. Had sofa, chair, table. Bathroom was clean and big. Bathroom soap, towel were provided. Bed sheets had some dirty spots and we asked them to change and they changed immediately and given clean bedsheets. Now come to food options. There is no in house resturant or kitchen. You have get the food from outside resturant. You will get basic food options just outside the property but you need to go to bhagat singh more (approx 1. 5 kms) to get good resturants. Overall, budget place to stay with family or solo or friends if you are coming to asansol for a day/night or travel through asansol.

We booked the hotel for a Golden anniversary celebration. This review is for the room service. Rooms are beautiful, lively, very clean and hygienic, the beds are warm and soft, the people are friendly and there is always someone around to help you out. The breakfast was lavish, tasty, the cheese omelet was gorgeous and the methi paranthas could not have bene better. There were healthier juice and food options too. So all in all , next time also, Fern would be our choice for stay. Mr Shubhankar deserves a call out here for being a very humble & patient person who is in-charge of the room service and gave us an awesome deal. There is just one suggestion: It wud be good to have a fan in the rooms. We do understand the concept of AC that can be adjusted as per one's needs. But with older people it is a struggle which we faced as we mainly had old people staying in the rooms, not very accustomed to using AC. And then there are people like me who are claustrophobic. I need the fan running on atleast speed 1 till the temp drops to 8 degrees.
