We had a wonderful stay at Soghuju Coffee and Tea Holiday Villa Designer Garden. The house was very clean, comfortable, and fully satisfied our expectations. From the moment we arrived, we felt warmly welcomed. Special thanks to Xiao Han for her amazing hospitality and care throughout our stay. Before check-in, she served us welcoming tea and fruits, and kindly explained everything about Lijiang Ancient City to us. Every single day, she checked on us to make sure everything was okay and whether we needed any help. As Muslim travelers, we really appreciated her extra effort in helping us find suitable restaurants. She gave us the exact locations of halal-friendly restaurants and also helped us find shops around Lijiang. Since we were not familiar with the Chinese apps and directions, Xiao Han patiently guided and assisted us all the time. Whenever we wanted to arrange activities or needed recommendations, she was always willing to help and organize everything smoothly for us. We truly appreciate the excellent service and beautiful environment here. I hope more people will discover this lovely place and come experience it themselves. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful stay at Passing-cloud Resort · Gaogongfu in the ancient town of Dukezong, Shangri-La. The hotel is very authentic and beautifully designed in traditional ******* style, which creates a truly special atmosphere. The rooms are comfortable, cozy, and well equipped, making it easy to relax after exploring the old town. We also really enjoyed the breakfast — it was delicious and a great start to the day. Overall, this is a charming and atmospheric hotel with a strong sense of place. Highly recommended for anyone looking for an authentic stay in Shangri-La.

Beautiful Tibetan-style design, helpful hosts, and great location easily walkable to the ancient city. I love that there are so many cats on the property. Communication with the hosts pre-arrival and during my stay was excellent and easy. They are responsive and assisted a lot with recommendations and useful info. The only thing I did not find satisfactory was that the bathtub required the use of a bathtub cover, otherwise it leaks water. It is not the most comfortable to have a bath with plastic on the skin, plus the plastic tears easily so even with the cover it may still leak water. However, the water runs nice and hot, plenty to have a good bath.

環境：離古城門口很近的，出去玩進出都很方便，住古城裡麪離玉龍雪山也近，兩分鐘就能走到出口，客棧在裏面也很安靜，人多也不會被打擾，環境也很好，很有特色 服務：老闆娘姐姐人美心善🤩愛了愛了，很有耐心喲 衞生：很乾凈舒適，適合居住 設施：齊全整潔，完美 在網上找了好久終於訂了她，果然沒讓我失望，推薦推薦👌

Berpuashati menginap di hotel ini selama 3 hari 2 malam . kemudahan semua lengkap & berpuashati dengan fasiliti yang disediakan. Pihak hotel juga menyediakan perkhidmatan ambil & hantar ke stesen keretapi secara percuma & host pun sangat baik. Jika datang lagi ke shangri-la, saya pasti akan menginap di sini lagi . kebetulan waktu ini salji turun, jadi tidak perlu pergi jauh untuk anak nak merasa suasana salji. Salam dari malaysia 😄😄

Hotel was located in the heart of Lijiang Old Town and so it’s a little difficult for cars to pick up and drop you off. Hotel staff will reach out to you for your WeChat and liaise with you on your arrival time and where to drop off, and even pick you up and your luggage with a little cart. Big shout out to Xiao Yang who picked us up even though it was raining very heavily on the day we arrived and waited for us by checking in on our location from the time we arrived in Lijiang. There was a complimentary tea drinkingprepared by him as well. On knowing that we were heading to jade dragon snow mountain the next day really early in the morning, he even helped us prepare some bread, snacks and milk for us as we would miss the breakfast. 10/10 service. Rooms were cleaned and fresh towels waiting for us every day when we came back from our little adventures. They even have a smart toilet for those looking out for it. 10/10 would recommend

Accommodation is very quiet, clean and safe. There are convenience shops & eateries on the same street. As a solo traveller who speaks simple mandarin, the owner was very helpful with travel recommendations & assisted with booking day tours. They were also slightly cheaper than Trip.com. Only problem is the tour drivers don’t speak English. Highly recommend!!!

Excellent welcoming with free pickup at Railway station. The place is a bit difficult to find so the free pickup was very useful. Located in the old city with easy walking. The room was very clean except for some mould on the shower curtain. Privacy is a bit of a problem with one window to the outside with easy visibility into the room and one window facing inside also with easy visibility into the room. However, blackout curtains helped. The room was spacious but no fridge and wardrobe. Not a problem for us as we only stayed one day. No lift but hotel reception was great and help us with our bags and tips to get around.

How special this place was! Amongst all the guesthouses around, this is a gem. It is nested around a quiet street which can be quite hard to find between the busy walking lanes of the old town. This is a traditional house with an inner patio and everything about the stay teletransport you to ancient times. It’s quite wild how you can find this quality of stay and hospitality (they were always serving tea for us and offering the delicious rose cakes from the region) for this price. Not to mention how friendly the owners were! The were always helping us with good recommendations, tea houses trip and even helped me with giving me herbs to help my digestion. This was trully an unique stay, would 100% recommend ♥️

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. One of the highlights was the breakfast arrangement — the hotel partnered with two excellent local restaurants, giving us the chance to choose between them and enjoy authentic traditional breakfasts. It was such a lovely way to experience the local food culture. The staff were truly outstanding. Everyone was incredibly kind, always smiling, and ready to help whenever we needed anything. They even gave us some local traditional snacks, which was a very thoughtful and heart-warming touch. A very special thank you to Miss Chen and Miss Shi. They were both incredibly warm, patient, and attentive, and made us feel truly welcome from the moment we arrived. Their kindness and care really stood out and made our stay even more memorable. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. I felt very welcomed and well taken care of. I will definitely book this hotel again for my next holiday. 🌟
