Our trip to Bromo and Ijen started from Surabaya. Ascott has a great location just beside the Pakuwan Mall, and the people are super friendly during check in and out, and during our stay, they were very helpful to provide anything we need.
The service apartment is spacious and clean. Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Pertama kali booking di Orchard yg studio dg tambahan extra bed, lalu katanya ada gangguan listrik sehingga dipindah ke Tanglin upgrade ke **R tanpa biaya tambahan. Lokasi sangat strategis karena menempel Pakuwon Mall. Selebihnya cukup saja. Room cukup kecil. Host-nya komunikatif dan dapat ditelpon. Proses ambil kuncinya (kartu akses lift dan pintu mailbox, kunci kamar, kartu parkir) di mailbox dan parkirnya memang membingungkan kalau tidak diterangkan. Untung Host kasih foto2 dan penjelasan serta siap jawab kalau ditelpon.

Penjelasan untuk pengambilan kunci dan parkir sangat jelas. Owner ramah. Tiap ruangan ada ac dan hot waternya joss.. Cuman sayang ada kebocoran di kamar mandi yang berasal dari lantai atasnya. Jadi lumayan mengganggu. Disediakan handuk juga. Dibawah sofa bed harap dibersihkan. Dan tempat jemur handuk nya waktunya dibuang. Udah copot copot

It's very pleasant to stay here. The room is very clean and fragrant. It's also a non-smoking area. Facilities and amenities are complete. Overall, it's very good. GGuest UserThis was my first time staying at Ascott Surabaya, and the experience was not very memorable for me. When I first arrived, the security staff were not proactive in helping unload my luggage from the taxi.
Secondly, the lobby layout was not particularly impressive in my opinion. However, the staff were fairly friendly and explained the hotel facilities well.
As for the room, it was decent and in good condition. The kitchen equipment was complete, and the microwave, washing machine, and dryer all worked well. The bathroom was clean, although I think it could be redesigned to look more modern.
The check-out process went smoothly, but once again the security staff were disappointing. He just stood there without offering any help to load my luggage into the taxi. At that time I was carrying one large suitcase and one small one, so assistance would have been greatly appreciated. That should be part of a security staff’s responsibility, especially for a five-star hotel.
For the location, Pakuwon Trade Center (PTC) is located right in front of the hotel, making it very convenient to visit Pakuwon Mall, the largest mall in Indonesia.
For me, staying here once is enough. For some reason, I didn’t feel any significant comfort, especially for a five-star hotel, and the attitude of the security staff was very disappointing.

ZZie RZMy wife and I, had an absolutely wonderful stay at Oakwood Hotel & Residence Surabaya. From the moment we arrived, everything felt warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared.
The room was spacious, modern, and exceptionally clean, perfect for a couple’s getaway. We especially loved the cozy ambiance and comfortable bed, which made it hard to leave the room! The facilities were excellent, and having the residence-style amenities made our stay even more convenient and relaxing.
The staff truly made the experience memorable. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. Their hospitality added a personal touch that made us feel valued and well taken care of.
Breakfast was delicious with a good variety of options, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was calm and elegant, deal for couples looking to unwind.
We left with beautiful memories and will definitely return on our next trip to Surabaya. Highly recommended for couples seeking comfort, privacy, and top-notch service. 💛

GGuest UserThe check in procedure was not efficient and meant we had to wait for several hours for a member of the team to come and check us in. The office kept putting the phone down as they did not speak English but would also not WhatsApp to arrange check in. A lady on the front desk for the hotel assisted in translating. Once checked in all was fine. Gym good also. Deposit of 200k, returned at check out.
