For the accommodation, I paid a total of €199.13 through Trip.com. This consisted of €185.13 paid online in advance and an additional €14.00 paid locally. However, upon our arrival at the accommodation, we were unexpectedly asked to pay an additional €66.20. This additional charge was not clearly disclosed to me during the booking process on Trip.com. In particular, there was no clear indication that we would be required to pay an additional €66.20 upon arrival. I ultimately paid the €66.20, even though I did not agree with the additional charge. The reason was that we were already at the accommodation and needed somewhere to stay. I did not want to risk being denied access to the apartment and being left without accommodation. I also informed the host/property manager at the time that I would clarify the matter with Trip.com afterwards. I therefore request that you investigate this matter and provide a full refund of the additional €66.20, provided that this fee was not properly and transparently disclosed during the booking process. I would also like you to clarify: * Why was the €66.20 charge not clearly disclosed during the booking process? * What exactly was the €66.20 charge for? * Why was this amount only requested upon arrival? * Was this additional charge actually permitted under the terms agreed between Trip.com and the property? Please provide me with a written explanation and arrange a refund of €66.20. I would also like to make clear that I paid the additional amount solely because I was already at the property and did not want to risk being left without accommodation. My payment should therefore not be interpreted as acceptance that the charge was properly disclosed or valid under my original booking. Thank you for investigating this matter. This is a fantastic hotel! The front desk staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, making me feel right at home. I didn't experience any of the discrimination towards Asians that some previous reviews mentioned. The facilities are great; there's a large Jiajiayue supermarket just 200 meters after crossing under the bridge, where you can buy fruits, vegetables, yogurt, and even pre-baked pizzas and bread. The hotel provides amenities like an induction cooker, oven, and utensils, which is really convenient for guests to heat up their own food! Although the room was close to the railway, the soundproofing was quite good and didn't disturb my rest. Plus, there were hardly any trains passing after 11 PM. Transportation is also very convenient; you can walk about 10 minutes from Mestre train station or take one stop on bus route 2. To get to the main island of Venice, you can also take bus route 2, which only takes about fifteen minutes to reach Piazzale Roma. The only minor drawback is that adjusting the air conditioning fan speed is a bit tricky, and I felt a little cold in the middle of the night.

The location is excellent, very close to the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square. The room was spacious, and the balcony had a river view, which exceeded my expectations. Cleaning wasn't daily, probably because it's an apartment-style hotel. The living room floor vibrated noticeably when I walked on it; I was worried about that, wondering if it's a characteristic of Venice…

Alomost perfect but “Check in Guide” As guests who just booked the hotel several days ago, we didn’t receive an email about how to find the hotel. So we used google map. But got lost nearby. Thus, we decide to share our experience to help potential guests. Firstly, when you find this little square with a statuette(picture 1). You can go across the little bridge then turn left. Don’t walk too much. The hotel is just near the bridge. Actually we spent around 30 minutes walked around this place. But seldom people knew this building’s location . And we got cold because of October’s weather in Venice. In short, after going across the bridge, you should turn left and almost immediately turn right. The gate of hotel is close to “Campiello Diego” and a bar. Unluckily, the phone number on Trip.com is wrong. So we find a number on the door and add the front desk’s WhatsApp. The front desk replied immediately, and we finally got the pin and entered the room. The room is new. And the view is beautiful. Unless the “finding hotel” process, we like this hotel. BTW, the restaurant attached is very good. Waiters are helpful and generous there. They will treat you appetizer, dessert and two little cups of alcohol. Their spaghetti is good. Hope our information can help you~

This is a hidden gem of a hotel! Our family of three had a wonderful two nights here. The rooms were spacious, clean, and fully equipped, with plenty of complimentary fruit, snacks, and drinks, even champagne and chocolate. Cooking here was also very convenient; the tableware and cookware were WMF brand, and they provided olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper – incredibly convenient. The hotel's location is also excellent, quiet yet conveniently located, making it easy to get around. If I had to offer some advice, it might be that because it's a ground-floor room, there were a few small flying insects. However, I don't think this is the hotel's fault; it's quite normal to have small flying insects on the ground floor in Venice, and it's within acceptable limits. If you're really bothered by them, you could choose a room on a higher floor. Also, the sofa bed mattress was a bit too soft. Overall, this is a fantastic serviced apartment. It has even changed my criteria for choosing hotels when traveling; I'll now prefer similar apartments. If I come to Venice again, I will definitely choose this place again.

I highly recommend this hotel. It’s close to everything — the arena, the main square, bars, and restaurants — so the location is very convenient for sightseeing. I was also upgraded to a one-bedroom room! The staff were all very kind and friendly. The amenities were great as well: shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, tea bags, coffee powder, and more. Toothbrushes seem to be available upon request.

Allegro Marin is situated next to the train station. Though it maybe convenient if you are planning to travel elsewhere by train, you cannot avoid dragging your luggage across a bridge, unless you hire a luggage porter. The attractions are quite far away if you don’t travel by ferry, at least 20 minutes walk away. Other than my thoughts on location, I find the hotel staff friendly and hospitable. When having breakfast, I only need to find my table and be seated. It came with complimentary freshly made bacon and eggs and a charcuterie board! No complaint about the service.

While the accommodation was fine the checking in process left a bit to be desired. We booked the Cannaregio II Apartments but actually stayed at the Venice Apartments. I don’t know if we ended up in a better standard of accommodation but it was closer to restaurants, etc. Notwithstanding it wasn’t the accommodation we thought we were booking and as a result I left my travelling companion at the wrong location while I checked us in and we had to walk further than was needed. I also felt like I got a bit of attitude from the reception staff when I was checking in.

Excellent property. Spacious apartment, two bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen. The accommodation is on another island from the tourist attractions of Venice. On this island there are cozy restaurants and shops within walking distance, but to get to Piazza San Marco, you will need 15-20 minutes by vaporetto. There is no reception in the apartment, so the check-in process is done by sending personal data by e-mail. After a dozen warnings from the booking system not to send personal data by e-mail, I was a little nervous when the hotel staff asked me to do so.
