OOurTwoStepStartWe stayed in a room without windows, that had 3 single beds, and used shared bathrooms. Honestly we couldn’t fault the stay, the staff were so friendly, the bathroom facilities were always spotless, they had heated toilets (we found this amusing 😂), free tea in the foyer. The location was really good and was a great street alternative to the always busy nanjing road, and was instead on Huaihai road which we would recommend! It is still a main road full of things to see/shopping, but just not as busy/hectic. The hotel was a tiny bit hard to locate but that wasn’t really an issue, we think moreso a maps problem. The lift took a while as there was only one life for the building, and took a while as it was on the 18/19th floor. The views however were amazing, as this was the view from the bathrooms 😍

AAmy Nuengruthai PathumwongseAs this is The Ritz-Carlton, expectations are naturally high — and they were certainly met. From the moment I arrived, the check-in experience was warm and welcoming, accompanied by genuine smiles. I would especially like to compliment Chris (I remember her name because it reminds me of Christmas). She was exceptionally friendly, helpful, and thoughtful, showing true attentiveness and care. Her service perfectly reflected the high standards and gracious hospitality that The Ritz-Carlton is known for. One small tip for future guests: it may be best to avoid corner rooms. While they are comfortable, the view can be limited, and the room door is very close to the neighboring room. You may occasionally hear noise when the neighboring door opens or closes. Aside from this minor point, everything else was perfectly fine.

BBenDoverrrOverall a great stay at Novotel Shanghai Pudong Chuansha. The room was clean and spacious, and the robot delivery service was a nice touch. Service was generally very good. The hotel is also conveniently located near Shanghai Disneyland, which is a plus. Breakfast was quite basic with limited choices, and the lifts can be slow at times. Suitable for couples or staying with a spouse and children, but lacks privacy when sharing with parents or siblings. The toilet and shower area is very small with no space to hang clothes inside. The bed faces the mirror outside the bathroom, affecting privacy. Despite these minor issues, it was a comfortable stay and good value overall.

PPengguna TetamuMy wife and I started our 3 week honeymoon in China with a 4 night stay at Banyan Tree in Shanghai. Both the hotel and the service we received was so exceptional that we actually changed our plans to make an additional stop at the hotel on the way home. On arrival Sam recommended an upgrade to the panorama room and the view of the Bund was incredible. We entered the room with a lovely display to celebrate our recent wedding. Vicky was on hand with any queries we had via WeChat and was able to coordinate the delivery of our suitcases from Beijing. The concierge Michael actually made payment for our cases on our behalf as we hadn't reached the hotel yet which was really appreciated! Other highlights were the breakfast and the attentiveness of the door staff.

PPengguna TetamuFirst time staying at this hotel. Had to top up a little to get a room with a view, but it was definitely worth it. Nothing like waking up to the view of Shanghai Pearl and Huangpu River everyday. Located at The Bund, hotel had a classic feel. Room was spacious and comfortable, and toilet comes with Japanese style bidet and seat warmer. Also includes complimentary minibar with Jagermeister, which was good for the cold weather. Hotel was generous with water, which was readily available at the lift lobby area at our floor. Only thing lacking in the room was probably the absence of hooks for towel and clothes in the toilet, a minor inconvenience. Hotel breakfast had a wonderful and delicious spread, including red and white wine. Did not get tired even after 3 consecutive days. Would recommend this hotel for those that like staying on The Bund but be prepared to pay for it.

PPengguna TetamuI stayed at this hotel for one night during a business trip and overall had a smooth experience. The price is very reasonable, and the hotel itself is fairly ok. They also gave me an upgrade when I checked in, but I can’t say how that room was different to the one that I booked. The rooms and breakfast were both okay — nothing outstanding, but perfectly fine for a short stay. One of the highlights is the convenient location, with many dinner options nearby, which was great for our needs. I appreciated the welcome cookie, although it was quite hard and crumbly — a nice gesture, but not very tasty. One small inconvenience was that I couldn’t get a Chinese invoice (fapiao) directly at the hotel; instead, they told me to request it through the booking app, which I found a bit unusual. Despite these minor issues, it was an easy and pleasant stay. I would definitely consider staying here again if I need a hotel in this area at this price point.

Despite it being 12am, Jude was incredibly helpful and proactive in assisting me with a parcel that was mistakenly sent to the wrong address. His willingness to help at such a late hour, coupled with his calm and professional attitude, truly reflects the high standards of service associated with Waldorf Astoria. Please extend my heartfelt thanks to Jude — his dedication did not go unnoticed and made a stressful situation much easier to manage. 我想特别表扬 Waldorf Astoria 礼宾部的 Jude。 尽管已是凌晨12点，他仍非常耐心并主动协助我处理寄错地址的包裹，服务专业又贴心。这样的敬业精神让我深受感动，也充分体现了贵酒店一贯的高水准服务。 The other team members in the concierge department also did a helpful job with our baggage. It’s just unfortunate that I can’t have my ******* food delivery sent by the hotel staff directly to my room. This was inconvenient but I understand the food and hygiene aspects that they uphold. Generally, a pleasant stay with best location. The bund view is just too awesome!

Lokasi hotel ini sangat strategik, membolehkan akses mudah ke tarikan popular seperti Jambatan Waibaidu, The Bund, dan Nanjing Road Pedestrian Street, dengan kemudahan pengangkutan yang sangat baik. Penginapan saya di sini sememangnya melebihi jangkaan. Ia menjadi kejutan yang menyenangkan dalam perjalanan ini. Lokasi yang sangat strategik membolehkan saya berjalan kaki ke Oriental Pearl Tower – ikon popular untuk mengambil gambar – dalam masa 10 minit sahaja. Langsung tidak perlu pening kepala mencari pengangkutan. Kemudahan mengecas telefon pada waktu malam sangat praktikal. Bilik air pula mempunyai konsep kering dan basah berasingan, dengan bekalan air panas yang stabil dan cukup hangat. Selepas mandi, langsung tidak terasa sejuk. Perkhidmatan mereka pula memang tiada tandingannya. Pada suatu malam, bilik saya kekurangan pengering rambut. Saya meminta bantuan, dan staf Xiao Ding segera menghantar pengering rambut lain ke bilik dalam beberapa minit sahaja. Sikapnya sangat mesra. Sarapan pagi juga sangat pelbagai, dengan pilihan seperti pau, telur, bubur, dan wonton yang baru dimasak – rasanya sungguh menyelerakan dan menenangkan. Sangat disyorkan sama ada untuk percutian keluarga atau perjalanan solo. Semasa daftar keluar, kakitangan hotel sangat membantu menguruskan proses daftar keluar dan juga membantu membawa bagasi. Secara peribadi, saya sangat berpuas hati dengan pengalaman menginap di hotel ini, dan pasti akan kembali menginap di sini lagi pada masa akan datang.
