Hotel Beach di Guangxi, China

Ivy has also specially arranged a complimentary fruit basket and desserts for us to enjoy. The reception staff is very helpful, although more English-speaking staff would be advisable as most of the staff does not speak English and it is a 5star hotel. I would like to mention Lisa who speaks English and was very helpful, providing useful information regarding hotel facilities, Covid test places and places of interest. Big up to Lisa! The breakfast buffet is okay, but the pastry choice is a bit limited and, generally, it feels that the hotel does not really cater for western guests (mainly Chinese dishes). The buffet lounge is full of light; it is very spacious and facing the seaside, which is great. However, the cleanliness can be improved as the tables and the floor were not cleaned quickly enough, and my table and the floor under it were greasy/dirty. The facilities are quite varied. The pools, gym, tennis court, steam room were used during my stay and they were in good condition. The steam room takes a long time to heat up though. The staff in the gym/swimming pool does not speak English at all. The table tennis room and some other facilities were under maintanace during our stay, so we did not use them. Overall, the hotel has more recreational facilities than most hotels. Well done! Regarding the location, the hotel is on the coast, but the sea is not swimmable there, so you can only enjoy the view. The hotels near the main Silver beach (for example, Crowne Plaza) are considerably more expensive (about 500rmb difference), so a 30-min taxi ride there (costs around 30 rmb one way) still makes the Furama hotel a much more economical option. The sea view from the rooms is very nice! Overall, it was a very pleasant stay and a late checkout was highly appreciated! My rating of the hotel is 4.5.

Wonderful apartment with a great view. Cleaning is done daily. The location is indeed great, perfect for evening walking. There is parking for ecooters, so they can be easily charged. There are not that many kitchen amnesties, so you might be ending buying knifes, and cleaning products.

房間乾淨整潔，通風透氣，最好的是離北海銀灘近，穿上泳衣，直接去海邊，回到酒店沖淡，晚上清靜，有陽台很温馨。停車方便，有小賣部，買東西方便，吃東西也方便，老闆人熱情，服務周到。下次來還住這裏，五星好評。

I arrived very late at night but the reception staff were welcoming and helpful. The hotel has a pool and is very close to the Old Town. The main beach is accessible by taxi or scooter very cheaply. There is a large Chinese breakfast buffet and very good wifi. My room did smell a bit when I first arrived, and the cheaper rooms are quite basic but for the location and price it is good. Housekeeping did a good job of sorting my room out too.

Great hotel. Great amenities. Great food. Great location. We're on a time without too much people so we enjoyed the whole inside swimming pool for us, fabulous time there. You pay more at this hotel but you receive a great experience.

My review will be based of the fact that we came in the low season. Maybe be during summer is okay. Winter experience was far from pleasant. First of all the temperature outside was 8 degrees and inside the AC could barely heat it up till 13. It was cold during the night and the stuff told us “we can do nothing about it”. Breakfast was Chinese cuisine (poor and cold and not tasty). In addition they didn’t even have coffee. The stuff at the reception didn’t really know something about the city and we had to go to the terminal to buy the tickets and found out that it was closed. The toilet in the room was really small (you can see it in the pictures). You can barely fit yourself in. The good thing (for staying in summer) is they have outdoor swimming pools on each floor and the balcony has nice view and lots plants. Rooms are quite big. But overall we won’t suggest you the place in the low season.

非常出乎意料，130元這麼低的價格，訂到這麼好的酒店，房間設備很齊全，晚上很安靜，酒店地理位置非常優越，打開窗就可以看到海景，就在銀灘三號門旁邊，走過去衹需五分鐘，而且提供免費停車位，經理還送了兩份自助早餐，如果不想在酒店吃早餐，樓下就有美食城，有許多早餐可以挑選，非常滿意

酒店靠海超級近，就建在海灘邊上，設施設備雖然不新，但是都齊全，應有盡有，靠海的地方多少都有點潮濕，我個人覺得還好，可以接受，這就是天然的環境現象，空氣都自帶海洋天然潮味，吹海風特別舒爽，前台服務員小潔和秋雪這兩位小姑娘服務也很熱情，這邊的沙灘也很相對別的還挺人少很多，其他沙灘也去了，都很美，風景肉眼看比拍出來還要美！！！相機拍不出來的美哈哈，但是主要還是要看天氣，出門旅行天氣很重要，北海真的是很值得推薦的海濱城市，物價和美食看個人，我個人覺得可以接受，不算貴，海鮮也覺得很棒，和在其他不是海邊城市吃的海鮮確實不一樣，要更鮮很多！鮮美！是我還會再來的海邊城市，喜歡北海～，慢生活，感受生活，悠然自得的美感！！！
