One of the best stayings in my 10 days trip in Tibet! Staff greets us with a warm ******* Herbal Tea with a welcoming scarf and warm towels to warm us up. Friendly staff was helpful and efficient during check in. Room was spacious and clean. More than enough quality amenities were supplied. Comfortable bed for good sleep and most importantly sufficient and steady oxygen can be supplied by the hotel. Humidifier was also one of the best we encountered throughout the whole trip. Absolutely loving the traditional Chinese style room and hotel design that doesn't look old school but authentic. Convenient location where accessible to everywhere! Highly recommend!!

As someone sensitive to high altitude, their **nasal oxygen supply** was a *literal lifesaver*, helping me adjust comfortably. The **morning breakfast** was a delightful experience, with fresh ******* bread, warm tea, and eggs served with a **panoramic mountain view** that made every meal unforgettable. The hostel even **customized my food** to accommodate dietary preferences—a rare and thoughtful touch! I was especially grateful for their **willingness to fulfill special requests**. When I asked for a room with the famous **”Potato Field View”** (a charming landscape of terraced fields), they happily arranged it without hesitation. The room was clean, cozy, and perfectly positioned to enjoy the scenery. What truly stood out was their **dedication to foreign guests**—whether explaining local customs, helping with travel plans, or simply sharing stories over tea. The atmosphere was **both peaceful and social**, making it easy to connect with fellow travelers. I had a wonderful stay at Lhasa Potala Palace Yishan Hotel! The view from the room was amazing — you can see the Potala Palace right after opening the curtains. The location is excellent, within walking distance to both the Potala Palace and Jokhang Temple. Breakfast was rich and delicious with many options. Great service and a very comfortable stay. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Lhasa! 这次入住 Lhasa Potala Palace Yishan Hotel 体验非常好！房间拉开窗帘就能直接看到布达拉宫，景色特别震撼。酒店位置也非常方便，步行就可以到布达拉宫和大昭寺，游玩很轻松。早餐种类丰富，味道也不错，整体服务很好，非常推荐来拉萨旅行入住！

I have mixed feelings of this hotel. Maybe my own fault but I thought this hotel was associated with the more famous Intercontinental hotel brand. I felt a bit disappointed when I realised it wasn’t. The hotel was right at the foot of Mount Kailash which was the purpose of our trip however was disappointed as the hotel doesn’t have a great view of Kailash. I want to give positive comments as the hotel had a lot going for it, such as full body massage chair in the room, smart voice controls for the room but we didn’t use any of these. The cleanliness of the room was also lacking and the shower facilities was not as good as some other hotels we’ve experienced on our Tibet trip. We had a second a second night booked at this hotel but we decided to cancel and go somewhere else. Sorry but I can’t recommend this hotel.

It was such a pleasant stay! The entire hotel has beautiful interiors, the room was spotless, oxygen worked perfectly, and the view from the 8th floor was gorgeous. All of the staff were extremely helpful to me, a non-Chinese speaker with translation apps and did their best to make my stay comfortable. Will definitely recommend it to everyone who’s planning to visit Lhasa.

Beautiful hotel that still preserves its historical architecture with modern luxuries. We enjoyed the heated floor (it's so comfortable to walk around) and the oxygen machine (a lifesaver when we just reached Lhasa!). Special thanks to Guest Service staff - 次塔 for coordinating breakfast and housekeeping with us throughout our stay, and for helping to safekeep our forgotten item when we checked out! Her warm hospitality helped us ease into the high altitude environment more easily! Oh and don't forget to try the Indian restaurant within the hotel - it's extremely delicious and the price is affordable! We hope to return soon!
