Room, location and service were fantastic. The room was very large , has what we need, they had complimentary everything .. bed was comfortable, hotel has good meals available & cocktails/bar (lack of those everywhere). Close to the Chocolate Castle, you can catch a cable car to or from Sun island or subway as well, its close ( line 2) hotel is near line 3. The ice and snow world was a highlight and best transport is subway ( line 2) . We walked 8mins to the line 2 subway and then switched for line 3 on way back. Central street is also close by for the delicious massive icecreams . Harbin was amazing !

The location is excellent, very close to Harbin West Station. They even offer a send-off service, which is incredibly thoughtful. The hotel is just a short walk from the subway exit, right below a large shopping mall, and Wanda Plaza is also very close by. The hotel's interior facilities are very luxurious, and the cleanliness is impeccable. The front desk upgraded my room for free and even gave me a cute little souvenir. I will definitely stay here again.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being close to both the morning and night markets, as well as several important riverside attractions. Dining and shopping options are also very convenient. The rooms are spacious with a practical layout, and basic amenities were mostly in place. As Heihe's morning market is quite famous, we opted not to have breakfast at the hotel, so I can't comment on that. However, the cleanliness was not up to par; there were small flying insects in the room, likely coming up from the drain. The service also left much to be desired. Not only did they fail to accommodate our request for a room away from the elevator, but they assigned us a room right by the elevator entrance, citing room type as the reason. Later, we discovered that rooms of our booked type were indeed available further from the elevator. Furthermore, to borrow an umbrella, we had to pay a 50 deposit per umbrella. While it was refunded immediately upon return, it still left a slightly unpleasant feeling for a hotel guest.

Seriously, who gets this lucky?! On my last day in Harbin, I was sent off by a heavy snowfall! 🎬 The video of the snow falling outside the hotel entrance will forever be my most romantic memory of this city. I chose a hotel near the airport for convenience, but unexpectedly, I found so much warmth there. The service from the people of Harbin is truly exceptional – warm, attentive, and welcoming. From the hotel staff to the locals I met on the street, everyone made me feel so welcome. I had an amazing time in Harbin, and this snowfall just added an extra layer of romance to the city. So fulfilling! I'll definitely be back next time! ❤️ I recommend this to anyone who needs to catch a flight.

Ice City's Finest Double Afternoon Tea: A great variety of food. Complimentary first-round minibar: Excellent. Late-night dining: So heartwarming. Coming back from the Harbin Ice and Snow World, it was freezing, but a bowl of wontons instantly warmed me up. Although the facilities are a bit old, the service is outstanding. Everyone is incredibly attentive and always smiling. They even upgraded my room for free!

This hotel is absolutely stunning! My friend and I stayed here, and from the moment our ride-share dropped us off, we were just saying ”wow, wow, wow!” It's an incredibly beautiful hotel, giving off a distinct Russian palace vibe. The attention to detail is remarkable, truly embodying the warmth and hospitality of Harbin. The location is super convenient, right next to Zhaolin Park. It's a breeze to get to Central Street and Saint Sophia Cathedral. We even walked to the Songhua River. I'd definitely stay here again on my next trip to Harbin!

I got my period at night and had a terrible stomachache. I called the front desk to ask if they sold sanitary pads. The young man at the front desk said a staff member would bring them up shortly. A little while later, the staff not only brought sanitary pads but also a cup of brown sugar water. For service to go above and beyond like this, the hotel truly puts its heart into it. I absolutely have to give them a huge thumbs up!

The room was a bit old and small, and the mini-bar was charged, though complimentary fruit was provided. Both the breakfast and the Executive Lounge offerings were excellent, with a wide variety of choices. The tall ladies at the Executive Lounge were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. It left a wonderful impression of Harbin's service industry. The only downside was a male staff member in a black suit, seemingly a manager, at the Executive Lounge. His attitude was quite firm and cold. When we first arrived at the lounge, we found a window-side sofa seat, but because we were wearing slippers, he told us to go back and change our shoes. We immediately did so and asked him to hold the seats for us. However, upon our return, he told us he had moved us to a two-person table near the entrance, not by the window, saying the other three people needed the larger space, without consulting me first (his attitude was quite forceful). We had hoped to enjoy the night view from a window seat while having some food in the evening, so this incident somewhat dampened our mood. I felt his consideration was a bit lacking and it contrasted sharply with the excellent service from the other lounge staff.

The service was excellent, very polite, and they answered all our questions. The room was around 20-30 square meters, which I found spacious enough for just the two of us. After a day out, it was great to come back and relax with a bath. The room was clean, equipped with a humidifier, a coffee machine, and complimentary drinks. That humidifier was a lifesaver at night; otherwise, it would have been too dry. What stood out most was the comfortable room temperature. At our previous hotel, the room was easily 30°C, making it unbearably hot even with the windows open, while it was -20°C outside. Such a drastic temperature difference makes it very easy to catch a cold. When booking a hotel, always ask if they have a humidifier, what the indoor temperature is, and if it's adjustable. I can't stress this enough – it's crucial. If I had to pick one thing I disliked, it would be the scent of the shower gel – I really couldn't stand it, it was quite unpleasant. I'd suggest switching to something with a nicer fragrance. I forgot if our king-size room had a bathtub or not, but everything else was the same. We had some time before our flight, so we booked a hourly room to get some sleep. Facilities: All available Hygiene: Clean Environment: Good Service: Excellent

We upgraded our rooms facing Songbei River on the executive floor and it was totally worth it. The river view was amazing and we were able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset view while having a drink and snacks inside. My husband was quite drained from the coldness outside and it was relaxing to sit and view sun island from a vintage point. Thank you Shangri La. They also gave my children an adorable Dongbei Shangri la tiger. A lovely cherry on the top to our stay at the hotel.
