I booked a night here on my way out of town to be close to the KEF airport since my friends were leaving the night before. The four-bed female dorms are great and the bathroom down the hall was always clean. Towels and linens are provided, as well as a great breakfast starting at 4 am for those trying to grab a bite before an airport pickup. I wish taxis weren't so expensive to go the 7 mins down the road (about 2 miles) -- we were charged 4000 kroners for 2 people (~$30) ... It would be nice if the hostel offered free airport shuttles, even at just set times 2-3x a day. But overall, great option for overnight by the airport and definitely the best budget location/bang for your buck.

This hotel is very clean, the room was large and the bed very comfortable. It is situated on a little harbour and we had a nice room with a harbour view. There is a restaurant attached and the food was excellent. My only issue is that it is about a 10 min drive from the airport and the taxi ride one way was 42 euros which translated to $136 Canadian dollars round trip, that was a bit of a sticker shock for a 10 min ride (20 min total).

Very close to airport for catching early flight. 3 mins walk from hotel to terminal. Room is big enough for a family of four. Nice breakfast and many choices of delicious foods.

Booked a brief 6-hour overnight stay to catch a few hours sleep & a shower between long flight days, was worth every penny. Got in just after midnight in late June & took a pic of the ocean from my balcony, beautiful! Everything was clean, comfortable, & the staff very nice & accommodating. Hotel only a couple of miles from the airport.

It is next to the airport. I drive that's why it is really convenient for me to return the car. Aurora, volcano and snowing, all amazing view captured by my fiancée and not only make her happy but me. Anyway, staff are nice either!

We stayed for our whole 8 day trip to Iceland from the US. We are a family of 4 and the family room was a nice size to fit us. The place was very clean and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Vogar is approx 20-30 min outside of Reykjavik but worth the drive. The owner lives there as well so if anything is needed she can help right away. She met with us and greeted everyone with a smile and a handshake. Highly recommend Arctic Wind!

酒店各方面都還好。離機場的距離比較尷尬，衹有1、2公里，卻無法走路過去，因為沿途沒有人行道，走過去不安全。沒有機場穿梭班車，也沒有公交車，衹能坐出租車。酒店倒是可以幫忙聯繫出租車，也明碼標價。酒店的餐廳價格較高。 酒店的地點比較偏僻，旁邊雖然有個小村落，但是也要走上半個小時才能到，不知道是不熟悉還是怎樣，我們在那裡沒有找到便利店或者超市，走到海邊看到幾個餐廳，也都沒有開着。 總之，如果為了轉機衹是住一晚，還可以湊合，如果有一個白天或需要住兩晚，最好還是找個城裡的酒店。

We will be repeat visitors to this guesthouse when we need a place to stay before leaving Iceland. The beds are comfortable, it is very clean, and it is close to the airport. A transfer to and from the airport can be easily arranged, as long as your arrival and departure times are within their hours of service. This is their home, after all. Breakfast was the best I have ever had in my life, I'm not exaggerating, but try it for yourself and see if you agree. We enjoyed visiting with other guests while soaking in their thermal pool, open 6:00 to 10:00 in the evening. There are several restaurants within 5 to 7 minutes walking distance, one seemed fancy, with a view of the ocean. There were also several mid range and inexpensive restaurants There are not many rooms, so book early. The guests do share the bathrooms, this was not an issue at all since there are three, two downstairs, and one upstairs. We never had to wait. Andi and Yuki, the owners, were very helpful in every way. A very pleasant stay!

An excellent place to stay and only 9 mins from the airport. Great to stay on arrival or night before departure. We were met by the owner, Reynir. The B&B was homely, warm and welcoming. Our bedroom was the music room, where the decoration of the room was musical instruments along the ceiling. A very quirky, different kind of property situated next to the sea. I only had to cross a road to view the Northern Lights who were displayed beautifully. We had a lovely breakfast before setting off on our trip. Transfers and drops offs to the airport are offered, but we had a hired car. There was also use of a fabulous hot tub. Would definitely recommend Ravens B&B

Good price about 45 minutes outside Reykjavik and near the airport. We stayed three nights. Our room was clean and comfortable, the black out curtains worked well which is important in summer. Breakfast was simple but better than most continental breakfasts I've had elsewhere and the coffee was excellent. Location wise there's a lot you can walk to, it's near the waterfront and the peninsula has some nice landscape to tour through along with a lighthouse and museum at the tip. Good location for south shore and golden circle. Hotel Jazz is good value in a quiet area. Would definitely stay here again and will recommend.
