room is pretty small to start with (the one in it is higher category room). No air-conditioned and I think suitable for solo and not couple. include with fridge and heater.

The facilities were fine. The double room we reserved came with only that.. a double bed. Not even a nightstand next to the bed or a table in the room. There was also no heater or fan and the room felt musty with a bit of moisture in the air. Could use a dehumidifier when it's raining out like it was this day/night. The other guests in the hotel were the problem. I was woken up at 4AM by someone upstairs in the smoking area chatting so loudly on their phone... I had to get out of my bed in the middle of the night and ask them to go somewhere else or end their call. It was absurd. In the middle of the night someone cooked a very fragrant meal that made the entire building smell - it was so intense that it even permeated into  our room which was the furthest room away from the kitchen... not a great stay when you can't even sleep through the night and feel like you are sitting in the middle of someone's meal.. Not worth the price

Had a lovely stay at Scenic Hotel Marlborough to end off our trip in New Zealand. The hotel room was much bigger than our previous hotel stays, where we could comfortably open both our large-sized luggage to repack. Apart from the spacious rooms, we love how clean the toilets were and how tidy our rooms are done up by room service each time we return from our day out. The stand out however, was the service provided to us by the staff. We arrived around midnight as we had a long drive from Fox Glacier to get here but the staff was ever ready to receive us, and even gave us recommendations on what to visit around Marlborough during our stay. During our stay, there were occasions where we opted to buy food back to enjoy in our hotel room and the room service was readily available to provide us whatever we needed to have a lovely meal in, including plates, wine glasses and even condiments. Highly recommended!!

An excellent boutique experience. Sennen House has a story to tell, and it’s a beautiful place to discover it. Set in a quiet location, its grounds are fantastic, utilising every piece of space cleverly; the welcoming croquet set was a taste of what was to come. The room we stayed in was great. Nice views and good spaces. Having a separate living and dining area is always a bonus, but its well appointed kitchen with a coffee machine was an extra one! The little baking treats left each day were lovely touches and were enjoyed. It was lovely to organise and portion out our own breakfast each morning, and having ownership of this was a bonus. If we are lucky enough to visit Picton again, we would definitely make this venue our first choice.

I loved it here!  I was a single traveler, and this was by far the best stay of my 2 weeks in New Zealand.  The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and had a kitchenette.  I tend to over do the adventure on my vacations, but this was my most chill morning on the trip.  The staff is friendly, and as crazy as it sounds, the breakfast was worth it!  I wish I could  have stayed here on the return trip.

Very cozy 2 bedrooms cottages. The farm animals were so adorable. The fruits are free to pick & taste yummy. The owner was very friendly and helpful. Overall we had a wonderful experience at the cottage. Highly recommended 😊

The hotel reception is very detailed, the location is very convenient, and the scenery is beautiful. The only thing is the power outage in the morning, which causes some inconvenience. Next time I come to New Zealand South Island, I will arrange to stay again.

- nice interior design that puts it on the pedestal in the same league; - squeaky clean and spick and span; - very comfortable beds that you are mollycoddled, from the very first moment you hit the sack till getting up, which is the last thing you want. - quiet and reclusive, but easily accessible to the town; - Flexible check out（upon request） - Facilities just as described, almost brand new, wonderful

Hotel staff is friendly  also let us park until the afternoon to leave  2 minutes walk from Time Centre, close to the departure point of many activities 

I thought it was pretty good. I think I booked an executive room, which had a balcony and plenty of hot water in the shower. It's located on a section of the main street. There aren't many travel guides for Picton online, so I scouted it out for you. This motel is next to a gas station and across the street from a large supermarket. The room has a kitchen. It's a 10-minute walk to the Intercity bus station, which is next to the train and ferry terminals, so it's really close. Also, the beach is less than a 10-minute walk from the hotel. There are various activities available for registration at the beach; you don't need to book online, just walk in and inquire—the price is the same. There's a Thai restaurant not far from the hotel. Picton is beautiful. We came here to take the train, and it's definitely worth it. This is a wine region; remember to buy a bottle and try it.
