Location : super private, very clean and very well kept. Staff service : friendly, attentive. Shout out to Rudra, Pika, Afiq, and their kitchen crew Wani. they say that the people is the heart and soul of the brand and it reflects immensely in the boathouse. Even the director of operations took his rounds to walk and chatted us up. Thank you Thevan. Room : very new and clean tho sound insulation is abit of an issue. But it’s all good. Internet : good and stable. This part of the island cuts off coverage if you have a local sim. Amenities : For now, it’s just jungle tracking with ATV or island hopping/diving. What can be improved : 1. perhaps more upbeat music at the bar area for people to let loose. 2. weekends when there are more people, a fire performance or a light show/drone or something. So that there is a slight group entertainment. 3. Pier could be abit more lighted to see the sea during the night.

Overall, we had a good stay at Paya Beach Resort. We visited during the off-peak weekday period, so it was very quiet and peaceful—perfect if you’re looking to relax and avoid crowds. One downside was the number of mosquitoes, especially when opening the door, so that’s something to be mindful of. Another small issue was the exit green light in the room—it couldn’t be turned off at night, which felt a bit unusual and slightly disruptive when trying to sleep. On the positive side, the breakfast buffet was enjoyable with a good selection of options. Overall, a nice and tranquil place to stay, with a few minor areas that could be improved.

Upon exiting the ferry in Tekek village, a bus was waiting to transport tourists. Check-in at the hotel went smoothly; our two connecting rooms matched the booked criteria, located on the ground floor of a two-story bungalow with a garden view. Housekeeping always occurred at the same time, which was very convenient, but there was an issue with towel replenishment. We often had to seek out staff and ask for them, though eventually, they started bringing even more than we needed. Water is refilled promptly, and if more is required, it's provided without any problems. The hotel always has a shortage of beach towels, and they only become available for distribution from 9 AM onwards, which is quite inconvenient. The beach bar also starts operating at 5 PM, which is a bit odd. The breakfast buffet in the main restaurant offers a wide variety of choices. You can also order lunch and dinner from the menu at the hotel; prices are reasonable, and they don't overdo it with spices. The second restaurant (Indian) is completely closed. Opposite Berjaya, there's a small island where you can book a snorkeling boat trip to explore the underwater world. There weren't many live corals, but plenty of beautiful fish. However, we preferred snorkeling under the boat departure pier, where there were many schools of fish and small sharks in the shallows. Monkeys frequently visit the hotel grounds, bungalows, and beach; they are very curious but not aggressive. We also saw monitor lizards. The nature of Tioman and the gentle, secluded sea were very impressive. Sandflies were an issue; nothing we brought from home helped. We bought local spray at the hotel, which reduced the bites, but the healing process only truly began when we got home. The hotel has a gorgeous property and a large beach area. The rooms are in need of renovation; everything feels a bit tired, but functional. The staff are responsive and polite.

First of all, I want to thank every staff member at Tunamaya for their hospitality, professionalism, and attentive service to guests. Secondly, I'd like to express my gratitude to the wonderful chefs who cooked absolutely everything deliciously! Thank you for the opportunity to enjoy fresh, grilled seafood! Thank you for the themed evenings; you truly aimed to surprise us, and you succeeded! I wholeheartedly wish you prosperity and many more grateful tourists. Now, let me tell you about our stay. A vacation at Tunamaya isn't what you'd call a typical beach holiday, as popular with Russian tourists. But, of course, people don't come to Tioman for that anyway. The nature here is incredibly beautiful, with views of the jungle and mountains – every time I walked to the restaurant from our bungalow, my heart soared with gratitude and awe at the beauty! It truly is a vacation for the soul! The resort also offers diving and snorkeling equipment, a glass-bottom boat, and kayaks. There's an outdoor sports area where my husband exercised daily. And, of course, the cool, scenic poolside overlooking the sea was a great pleasure. We also discovered a beach near and beyond the second, currently inactive pier. It's perfectly fine for swimming in clear water and taking beautiful photos. The views of the massive boulders and monoliths reminded us of the Seychelles, only the sea there was always calm. My husband and elder son also hiked through the village to the waterfall, bringing back many beautiful photos and impressions! As for suggestions – I'd recommend sprucing up and beautifying the grounds. Some railings along the beach path are broken, and there are old pieces of furniture lying around. I also wasn't very pleased with the condition of the toilet near the pool; I sincerely hope you find the means to do some cosmetic renovations there. A pleasant bonus of being on the island was encountering the mischievous monkeys and monitor lizards. Despite the repellents, they found ways to roam the grounds, and that's wonderful because we are guests in their home! They are the true aboriginals of Tioman. Once again, thank you, Tunamaya, for a fantastic vacation! Wishing you prosperity!!!

The rooms are clean and relaxing, with many decorations and items made from local, handcrafted materials, which is both eco-friendly and gives the hotel its unique character. The hotel owner and staff are polite and sincere, without any noticeable commercial vibe. The natural environment is quiet and pristine, and the hotel blends seamlessly with its surroundings. Most guests here are couples enjoying their time together; we were the only ones with children during our three-day stay. We really loved this quiet, non-commercial holiday environment. January is monsoon season, so the winds and waves were strong. We tried snorkeling on two mornings, but it wasn't amazing. The ecosystem here isn't as vibrant as in Mataking, Semporna; we didn't see as many types of fish, and there were more rocks, making the snorkeling environment less friendly than Mataking. However, the hotel stay itself was truly comfortable, and we felt the energy of nature – a great opportunity to relax. The staff and owner were fantastic and even personally picked us up and dropped us off at the pier. Their service felt genuinely sincere, unlike Semporna, where there's a strong commercial atmosphere, and you don't feel the same genuine human interaction, but rather more commercialism, and the room rates are many times higher without the corresponding service quality. We love this kind of hotel vacation experience. It's filled with the scent of nature everywhere, with streams flowing through the rainforest, integrating the hotel with the sea – a resort that has both mountains and the ocean. Friendly tip: The hotel carefully prepares all three meals (breakfast, lunch, and dinner). The food provided is consistently delicious, and although the prices are not cheap, it's worth it.

This hotel never failed me, we had enjoyed the stays there. The hotel is quite a distance from the town (20mins taxi ride, but we enjoyed the scenery along the way). The hotel is not crowded, u can fully relax and enjoy the breeze without the crowds. The room is can consider clean, 2 queen size beds in a room are for my children. I asked for an extra mattress which charged me rm50 per night, I have encountered bed bugs sleeping on the mattress(but my two children beds are clean, they did not have the issue of bed bug). The hotel serve nice food, but a bit pricey. However, there are Malay stalls nearby which charged slightly cheaper and the food taste good as well. The hotel provides sea sports like snorkeling, diving, volleyball, jungle trekking, and there are band playing music (not during Ramadan). We will definitely come back.

The hotel owner is Chinese, so domestic friends don’t have to worry about language communication problems. The hotel environment is very good. I personally like nature and virgin forests. This hotel meets my requirements. It’s the most primitive feeling when you come out to play. The cabins are unique and I like it very much. It’s not far from the pier. There is a duty-free shop at the end of the pier. Similar to small shops in China, Tioman Island is duty-free Island, you can book a BBQ with the hotel owner. Figures 1 to 5 are the interior and exterior of the hotel. The location is a relatively secret bay. There are about 20 such wooden villas in total. When you check in and leave the store, the staff will queue up to welcome you, but all employees will not be a little Chinese. The so-called own beach, the water quality is not as good as near the public pier. Anyway, swimming, snorkeling and fishing are not good. There is basically no signal on the mobile phone. Only the hotel's own restaurant can eat. There is white rice (pizza, burger). Dinner needs to be booked before 14:00, otherwise you can be hungry. The price is not expensive, dare to say that he is poor, 18 MYR popsicles for your reference. For foreigners who want to find a secret beach, after eating a free breakfast, they will mix from morning to night with a free beer. This hotel is very good for foreigners who are sunbathing on the beach. But for Chinese families like us who want to go swimming, snorkeling, fishing, and eating seafood, the holiday in this hotel has become a robbery, and everything can be achieved by the recent paya. For this, you have two options: working time on a water taxi RM350; like us in Figure 6, an hour and a half back through the virgin forest full of mosquitoes and snakes... Thank you for giving the hotel a ”special forces survival challenge tour”, and collect more than 500 MYR environmental tax before leaving!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at B&J Tioman Dive Resort on Tioman Island, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, it was clear why B&J has built such a strong reputation among divers and travelers alike. One of the first things that impressed me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and spotless throughout my stay. Housekeeping standards were consistently high, making it easy to relax after a day of diving and exploration. The resort grounds were also kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that reflected the professionalism of the entire team. What truly made the experience special, however, was the people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was assistance at the reception, advice on local activities, or help with dive logistics, the team always greeted guests with a smile. The dive instructors and divemasters deserve particular praise. They were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Tioman’s underwater world. Their enthusiasm was infectious and helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere both above and below the surface. As a diver, I greatly appreciated the balance that B&J strikes between enjoyment and safety. Every dive was well-organized and professionally conducted. Safety briefings were thorough, equipment checks were carried out carefully, and the dive guides remained attentive throughout the dives. Despite maintaining high safety standards, the team ensured that the dives remained enjoyable and memorable. Their familiarity with local dive sites allowed us to maximize our underwater experience while feeling secure at all times. It is reassuring to dive with professionals who clearly prioritize guest safety without compromising the fun and excitement of exploring the reefs. Another highlight of staying at B&J was the abundance of delicious food available nearby. The resort’s location provides easy access to a variety of eateries offering local Malaysian dishes, fresh seafood, Western options, and refreshing drinks. After a day spent underwater, it was wonderful to have so many excellent dining choices within walking distance. The combination of great diving and great food made every day on the island something to look forward to. Overall, my stay at B&J Tioman Dive Resort was outstanding. The clean accommodation, warm and friendly staff, professional dive team, strong safety culture, and excellent food options combined to create an unforgettable holiday experience. I would not hesitate to recommend B&J to anyone visiting Tioman Island, whether they are experienced divers, new divers, or simply looking for a relaxing island getaway. On September 22, we checked in at Juara Ocean Chalet around 2 p.m. and spent a relaxing afternoon by the beach, enjoying the peaceful island atmosphere. In the evening, we had a delicious seafood dinner at a local restaurant, featuring fresh fish and prawns. The next morning, my child and I joined an exciting boat trip covering five snorkeling spots, where we saw colorful coral reefs and tropical fish. After returning to shore, we enjoyed a simple yet flavorful Malay lunch and relaxed by the sea for the rest of the day.

If you think to take a hotel or not, take it without thinking! Very welcoming staff, everything will tell, will show. Good breakfast on the type of Swedish table. To the ocean 1 minute. Harbour in step availability. If you want to snorkelling, go to the left to the stones and study the underwater world. The hosts gave a kayaking at a very attractive price for a day. The houses are comfortable with air conditioning. The bed is comfortable. But there are no glasses in the windows in the houses. Only wooden stands. Accordingly, they are not open with the air conditioner without which it is very hot. Prepare to live with the light on constantly. There was a tree over the house, from which occasionally something fell on the roof with a thunder. But it was rare. And so it was very much like!

We had a wonderful 3D2N family stay at Swiss-Garden Beach Resort Kuantan. The resort is very family-friendly and perfect for those travelling with children. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. We also requested connecting rooms on the same level, and the staff did their best to accommodate our request, which we really appreciated. The beach is beautiful and easily accessible, and the swimming pools were the highlight for our kids. There were plenty of facilities for families, and the environment was relaxing. The staff were friendly, polite, and helpful throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the service was excellent. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely come back again for another family vacation. Highly recommended for families visiting Kuantan.

Had a wonderful stay at The Kasturi Cherating for our honeymoon! The resort is surrounded by beautiful nature, making it the perfect place to relax and escape from the busy city. The beach is clean and peaceful, and the whole atmosphere feels calm and private. We also received a complimentary dessert for our honeymoon, which was such a nice touch and made our stay even more special ❤️ And of course, we can’t forget the amazing breakfast served every morning! There was a great variety of food and everything tasted so good. Definitely don’t skip the breakfast, you won’t regret it! 😋 The room was spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a beautiful view of the surrounding greenery. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Overall, we had a really relaxing and enjoyable experience. Highly recommended for couples looking for a peaceful getaway in Cherating. Had a wonderful 3D2N stay here as a couple. Overall, everything was great and we really enjoyed our time at the resort. There were plenty of complimentary activities available, which made the stay even more enjoyable and gave us lots to do without any additional cost. The resort was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The staff were also friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside is the location, as it is quite far from Kuantan town. However, if you’re looking for a quiet escape away from the city, this is actually a great choice. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely consider coming back!

Best accomodation ever had to Kuantan. Excellent vacation with seaview room in village 1. Came to celebrate my son's 1year-old birthday. Staff reception is top notch, checking process is smooth. Breakfast has plenty of choice, with fresh juices and coffee machine served. Crowded with people on Sunday morning. Beds are comfy and clean. Walking distance to restaurants within the compound. The staff at restaurant are friendly and kind, gave us complementary slice cake for my boy's birthday.We loved the dining experience. The only thing to improve is the small fridge in hotel. It can be colder for us to store breast milk and to keep the ice gel packs frozen, please upgrade the fridge to have freezer so that we could keep milk well along journey back.

Location is good, not far from most attractions in Kuantan. The hotel surrounding area is more quiet compare to staying in city centre. Room is spacious. This hotel is like service apartment style. Indoor car park available. Staff service is so-so only, nothing spectacular, not up to 4-star standard. There is a swimming pool but it's sharing with residents in the service apartment. Buffet breakfast is good but nothing to shout about. Overall still consider not bad and we may consider to stay again if there's chance returning to Kuantan in near future.

Solid, comfortable stay in Kuantan – let down slightly by bell service and bathroom maintenance. We had an overall good stay at AC Hotel Kuantan and would happily return in the future, though there are a couple of areas where housekeeping and front-of-house service could be sharpened up. The Good: * Comfort & Sleep Quality: The bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable, making for a restful sleep. The shower itself had fantastic water pressure and reliable, consistent hot water. * Breakfast Spread: Breakfast was more than decent with a solid variety. Having a live egg-making station and daily nasi lemak was a highlight, and the teh tarik was a very welcome touch to start the morning. * Location: While not situated right in the dead center of town, the location is very convenient—getting to local attractions and dining spots is quick and straightforward. Room for Improvement: * Bathroom Maintenance: Housekeeping needs to pay closer attention to detail in the bathrooms. In Room 404, there was visible mold along the shower tile grout that needs a thorough deep-clean. * Bell Service: Front-of-house luggage assistance lacked proactive hospitality. On both arrival and departure, the bell porter simply asked if we needed a trolley; when we said no, he offered no further help with our bags at all. Despite these hiccups, the essentials—comfortable bedding, great shower pressure, and a tasty breakfast—made for a pleasant stay overall.

PLEASE IMPROVE THE COMMUNICATION BETWEEN YOUR STAFF! First impression — sangatlah cantik. Location tepi pantai, dan yang paling best, ada kolam. Bilik pun okay untuk family menginap, memang sangat selesa. Tapi satu je yang kami kecewa — SERVIS & COMMUNICATION TEAM. Kami sekeluarga bukan dari negeri sini, jadi bila check-in time pukul 3.00 petang, mestilah kami expect bilik dah ready. Tapi rupanya kami hanya dapat bilik sekitar 5.30 petang — AFTER 2½ HOURS WAITING. Bayangkan dengan anak yang dah tidur dalam kereta. Memang penat dan kecewa. Untuk apology, receptionist lelaki tersebut kindly offered complimentary hi-tea, 3 additional breakfast pax, dan yang paling penting dia sendiri informed yang kami boleh checkout pada pukul 1.30 petang. So, okay lah. Kami appreciate the gesture and accepted it. BUT THEN, THE NEXT DAY… Around 12.15 PM, reception called our room asking bila kami nak checkout. We were confused because the receptionist the day before clearly told us that we could checkout at 1.30 PM. The girl said she would call back, and another staff called us again. Same thing — she said housekeeping needed to clean the room and that we could not extend the checkout time. The complimentary breakfast was mentioned as the compensation. Seriously? What do you expect? We were not one or two people. We were a whole family getting ready. At 12.15 PM you call and expect everyone to pack and leave almost immediately? I told her, “We can definitely checkout by 1.00 PM.” But she still insisted that we had to leave before 1.00 PM. No argument from our side, we just followed. The frustrating part is — WE WOULD HAVE BEEN FINE CHECKING OUT AT 12.00 PM IF WE HAD BEEN TOLD PROPERLY FROM THE BEGINNING. The problem isn’t really about the 1.30 PM checkout. The problem is the communication between your own team. One staff promised 1.30 PM, and the next day another staff called and told us something completely different. First, we waited 2½ hours for our room. Then, after being told we could checkout at 1.30 PM as an apology, we were suddenly asked to leave earlier because housekeeping needed the room. Please improve the communication between your staff. Beautiful place, comfortable room, great location — but unfortunately, the service experience was affected by something that could have been avoided with better communication. Miss communication really ruined what could have been a very nice family stay

This guesthouse is great! It's right by the sea and the sand on the beach is really fine. The place is well-equipped with everything you need, including a washing machine and kitchenware. This hotel had been on our list for a long time, and it certainly lived up to our expectations. From the outside, it looks a little dated and even slightly intimidating, but once we stepped into our room, we were pleasantly surprised. The room was beautifully designed with a modern and romantic touch, and it was exceptionally clean. We stayed in a one-bedroom unit. Although there was an event that continued until around midnight, it did not affect our stay at all. Once we closed the bedroom door, the room was well insulated and we could hardly hear any noise. The only minor issue was that the ceiling fan was a little noisy. We also ordered room service, and the food was delicious. While the prices were on the higher side, that is to be expected for a hotel of this standard. The view from the room was absolutely spectacular, overlooking lush greenery and giving the feeling of being surrounded by a forest. One thing to be mindful of is the monkeys. Avoid opening the windows, as they may enter the room, and try not to carry bags openly while walking along the corridors, as the monkeys are known to grab them. The breakfast was good, although we felt the selection could be improved with a wider variety of choices. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The beautiful surroundings, comfortable room and peaceful atmosphere made for a memorable experience. We would definitely consider returning in the future.

My stay at Wyndham Garden Shahzan Fraser’s Hill was a wonderful and comfortable experience in every way. What I liked most about the hotel was the ease and flexibility in dealing with guests. The check-in process was smooth and straightforward, and the staff were polite, cooperative, and hassle-free, which made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel also stood out for its excellent cleanliness, warm hospitality, high-quality service, and beautiful location surrounded by nature, tranquility, and the refreshing atmosphere of Fraser's Hill. I would like to thank the hotel management and all the staff for their great hospitality and dedication to the guests' comfort. I highly recommend staying here, and God willing, it will be one of my top choices when I visit Fraser's Hill again. A well-deserved 5-star experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

The stay in this apartment was actually a middle stop from our car trip to Penang. The location is in the mountains where you can walk well. You regularly meet monkeys and beautiful birds in the wild. We were with four and the apartment was suitable for 8 people. So we were going to transfer the borg by bank and get booked back at departure. The provider was very flexible when we explained that we were coming from abroad and that we would probably expect more time and difficulty in international transfers, and therefore we had to pay the cash guarantee. When we left, we got back clean cash, so well arranged, and the apartment was very atmospherefully furnished and provided with everything you need.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The view from the balcony was mesmerising. Before reaching the balcony from the living room, there is a mosquito net door which can prevent insects from entering the unit while enjoying cool air from the outside. The unit was newly renovated and is situated on the 3rd floor with lift access. The unit was exactly as advertised, new and clean. There are lots of cooking appliances than expected- rice cooker, steamer, air fryer, steamboat pot, basic pots and pans etc. Kitchen utensils and basic cooking seasoning like sugar, salt, pepper and oil are available. The water dispenser functioned well and we enjoyed the drip coffees too. There are also board games in the living room. On the shelf above the dining table, there are Wi-Fi, projector and a speaker which is linked to the smart home system. There are two bedrooms and a small stand fan in each bedroom. Both rooms have enough hangers and a mirror on the wall each. Two bathrooms available and they are equipped with shampoos, LED mirror and ventilation fan.
