Great stay, hotel is slightly old but cleanliness is good, curtains and carpet are not dusty. Has a QR code to scan for additional amenities. Amenities provided are good brand. Beds are a bit short for tall people but quite comfortable. For quad room, the additional two beds are a bit hard. Shuttle service provided doesn’t match checkout timing did not use it. Walking to bus stop for free Bus A and Bus B is quite a distance, takes 10mins, alternatively for a scenic route, can walk through a short forest trail at main road to get to Imbiah monorails station, will take 15mins. All the routes are not flat, has slopes. Breakfast selection is good enough, hash brown, braised eggs and porridge are good, cook your own noodles station is quite easy to do, only take less than 2mins. This time, I booked a deluxe sea-view room, and the window offers a direct view of the ocean. Plus, there's even an open-air cinema downstairs! 🎬
The pool area is also divided into two: the 7th floor has an adult pool, and the 3rd floor has a kids' pool, which is a big plus because it keeps everyone from being crowded together! It's perfect for someone like me who enjoys peace and quiet.
Coincidentally, it was my birthday 🎂 on the day I checked in. The hotel even prepared a small cake and a card for me – I was incredibly touched! 🥹🤍

The environment at the Oasia Resort Sentosa is really good overall, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. However, it does feel a bit old, with a style that harks back to resort hotels from the early 90s. Its location is super convenient; it's directly connected to the S.E.A. Aquarium and Universal Studios, and there's a monorail that takes you to the beach, which is very handy. If you don't want to eat on the island (dining there is quite expensive and options are limited), you can take the free monorail, which gets you to VivoCity in just two minutes, where there are plenty of dining choices. The breakfast spread is also quite extensive, with everything from fish, coffee, juice, bread, fruits, and hot dishes, largely catering to Chinese dietary preferences. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, proactively introducing hotel facilities, WiFi, the complimentary minibar items, and breakfast times and locations. Calling customer service in the room also received a quick response to our needs. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Laurus in Sentosa last month, and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. As a brand-new property that opened in October 2025, everything felt fresh, pristine, and thoughtfully designed from the moment we arrived.
Our suite was exceptionally spacious at 115 square metres – an incredible luxury in Singapore, where such generous room sizes are rare. The décor struck the perfect balance: high-end and luxurious without ever feeling over-the-top. It exuded a refined elegance that made the space feel like a true home away from home. My wife and I both felt instantly relaxed and comfortable.
The room amenities were outstanding. We especially appreciated the premium Devialet Bluetooth speaker, the self-service coffee machine with a milk dispenser, and the thoughtful filtered water taps offering room-temperature and hot water. These details not only added convenience but also reflected a genuine commitment to sustainability by reducing single-use plastics. The bathroom was another highlight – spacious and with powerful water pressure that made every shower a delight.
What truly elevated our stay, however, was the exceptional service. From the warm and enthusiastic welcome by the manager at check-in to the attentive care throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond. A special mention goes to the delightful team member Ngang Ngang (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly!), who personally delivered a charming owl stuffed toy to our room as a welcome gift. My wife adores owls, so this small, personal touch brought us so much joy and perfectly captured the hotel’s thoughtful approach to hospitality.
Every aspect of the service felt attentive, genuine, and meticulous. We truly didn’t want to leave and found ourselves wishing we could extend our stay indefinitely. The Laurus has set a new standard for luxury in Singapore, seamlessly blending modern comfort, elegant design, and heartfelt service.

I think we hit the jackpot with this hotel. Very thankful that we experienced all the positives for this hotel.
What we like:
Clean. No ants nor bugs. Bedding and pillows also clean and no weird smells.
Very welcoming and polite staff at check in. She helped to distract my kids with some check in entertainment when she saw that they kept asking for my attention while I was trying to check in. Staff at Native Kitchen also very helpful and polite. They still gave a small discount even though we ate there after we checked out. Staff are also fast and efficient when we requested for more pillows.
Pool area (4 pools) is super pretty and my son had a great time playing 2 ball games in the pool during their entertainment hours. The Aqua Zumba (I think - unsure of the name) was also good and the instructor made every second fun! My girl and I loved dancing in the water to his music and moves!
Both noons also we had some free snacks courtesy of Village, at the reception area. These made my kids giddy with joy.
We were not celebrating anything but we saw reception pass out birthday favours for those that are. This is a plus point for me. It shows they make an effort.
What we don’t like:
Pool walking area is dirty in the late noon but can’t be helped as it got very crowded and it’s quite hard to clean the floor up with so many people around. Also, not enough chairs. We reached about 9am and majority taken up. We went back in the noon and also no seats. Do go early if you want to grab seats for your things. The rainfall water feature at the lazy river is also very strong pressure and might border on being painful or scary if you have young kids or are sunburnt. Some mould at lazy river walls too. Not a fan, but not something that ticks my no list.
Overall- definitely definitely definitely recommended. Room is small but you won’t be inside most of the time with so much to do in Sentosa.DariBRL 1,680

We were incredibly grateful to be upgraded to the Signature Suite for the occasion. The villa was absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, luxurious, and incredibly private. Combined with perfect weather throughout our stay, it made for an idyllic and relaxing escape.
Breakfast each morning was far more than just a meal. It was an experience. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the outstanding service made us look forward to it every day. A very special thank you to Fernando, who looked after us so warmly on both mornings. He always made sure our glasses were full, took the time to chat with us, and truly made breakfast feel personal and memorable.
One of the highlights of our stay was when the entire breakfast team surprised my wife by singing “Happy Birthday.” It was such a thoughtful gesture that made her day even more special. Every member of staff we encountered also wished her a happy birthday, making her feel celebrated throughout the entire resort. It was these genuine, heartfelt touches that transformed a wonderful stay into one we will cherish forever.
The housekeeping team also deserves special recognition. They were absolutely adorable, attentive, and always greeted us with the warmest smiles. No request was ever too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure our villa was perfect.

My check-in experience was quite disappointing. The front desk staff lacked a smiling service when I checked in; I was the first to ask the front desk about a twin room and was told there weren't any, but later my friend inquired and successfully got a twin room, which was a big letdown. I voiced my objection afterwards and was told to wait, but by then I didn't want it anymore. The welcome coupon was also not offered proactively; I had to ask for it.
Room service was a major shortcoming of this stay. Each time I called room service, I had to wait nearly 20-25 minutes; the response was very slow. Daily room replenishment often lacked supplies. My friend's room on the 8th floor had all amenities, while my room frequently lacked consumables like mouthwash and tissues. The electric blind in the bathroom was faulty and would get stuck, requiring manual assistance to pull it down.
However, the concierge left a very good impression on me. A special thanks to Kelly from the Concierge team, who was very patient, answered all questions, and actively helped solve various problems. The staff in black uniforms at the entrance, responsible for luggage and shuttle bus dispatch, were also professional and friendly. On the last day, there were 8 of us, and a Mandarin-speaking staff member in a black uniform helped us call a Grab taxi, balancing cost-effectiveness for our travel, which was very thoughtful.
The hotel's hardware and location are good, and the minibar benefits are substantial, but the front desk check-in, room housekeeping, and response efficiency need improvement. The concierge and doormen significantly elevated the overall stay experience. Equarius Villas, a premium villa type within Equarius Hotel, is located right below the main hotel building on Sentosa Island, part of Resorts World Sentosa. I stayed here for five days during the first leg of my Singapore trip, and although it was pricey, it was absolutely worth it. The minibar offers unlimited drinks, replenished as soon as anything runs out. Given the cost of living in Singapore, this alone saved us hundreds on water bills. Every evening, there were also complimentary snacks – I enjoyed Guilinggao (herbal jelly), chocolates, nut assortments, and cookies, all local well-known brands that make great souvenirs. The rooms are incredibly spacious, split over two levels. Upstairs, the balcony features an outdoor pool, a sofa bed, and a private bathroom. Downstairs, there's a king-sized bed, a hidden bathtub, and a massive underwater window where you can see the fish from the adjacent aquarium – it's truly magical. The room type includes butler service, available on WeChat for any request. Electric buggies transport you anywhere you want to go, such as the lobby, bus stops, or shopping malls, and they even help plan your itinerary. All the staff speak Chinese; I met fellow countrymen from Hunan and Sichuan, as well as ********* compatriots, Malaysian Chinese (like Berry Tan), and even a chubby young man who looked like he was from India or Pakistan. They were all very friendly, attentive, and thoughtful. I want to express my gratitude again to all the butler friends who served me! For breakfast, there are two options. One is at a semi-buffet located opposite the hotel lobby, offering local breakfast items, masala, healthy options, European fare, and an eat-all-you-can selection of bread, fruits, and salads. The advantages are a superb environment, fewer people, and peace and quiet. The drawback is a relatively smaller variety compared to a full buffet. The other option is a full buffet at the Festive Hotel. The advantage is the wide variety, but it comes with many downsides. All guests from Sentosa hotels dine at this one full-buffet restaurant, leading to huge queues, so you have to go early. Overall, while the hotel is expensive, the ambiance, food quality, sea views, butler service, minibar, electric buggy service, and other amenities completely justify the price. If I come back to Singapore, I'll definitely stay here again. Oh, and most importantly, being on Sentosa Island means everything is at your fingertips – VivoCity, various attractions. Even though the online reviews were generally average, I still firmly chose to stay here because I liked the hotel's style. Overall, it was a good experience.
Transportation (last 2 pictures):
1. The island's free B line shuttle bus (runs every 15 minutes until 12:15 AM) has a stop here. After getting off, the golf course is on the left, and the hotel is on the right. It's just a short walk up a small slope.
2. The hotel's mini-bus can take you to Universal Studios and Vivocity MRT station (Exit D), but large luggage is not allowed.
Room: Very spacious, there's even a foyer right after the entrance where you can place two suitcases. The decor and facilities are quite new, but there's no view.
Service: One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese. We arrived at 10 AM, checked in, but the room wasn't ready. The hotel delivered our luggage to the room by 3 PM. If you arrive at 3 PM, you might have to queue for check-in.
Swimming Pool: It's indeed just average. They don't even require swimming caps, and there were leaves at the bottom of the pool. It's open from 7 AM to 7 PM.DariBRL 1,233

The hotel's environment is truly exceptional. Check-in is on the 8th floor, and the ground floor provides direct access to the restaurant and the beach. Right outside, there's a beach tram shuttle service that takes you to Beach Station MRT in just two stops, or about a 5-10 minute walk. During our stay, there was a beachside barbecue market starting at 2 PM every afternoon, which was when the shuttle service stopped.
We stayed on the 5th floor, and the swimming pool was right outside our door. The kids absolutely loved it! There were also swings and a seesaw, and we even spotted a hammock while walking around.
However, I can't help but mention the ants. There were always tiny ants on the bedsheets, which might be due to the area being so close to nature.DariBRL 923

I think we hit the jackpot with this hotel. Very thankful that we experienced all the positives for this hotel.
What we like:
Clean. No ants nor bugs. Bedding and pillows also clean and no weird smells.
Very welcoming and polite staff at check in. She helped to distract my kids with some check in entertainment when she saw that they kept asking for my attention while I was trying to check in. Staff at Native Kitchen also very helpful and polite. They still gave a small discount even though we ate there after we checked out. Staff are also fast and efficient when we requested for more pillows.
Pool area (4 pools) is super pretty and my son had a great time playing 2 ball games in the pool during their entertainment hours. The Aqua Zumba (I think - unsure of the name) was also good and the instructor made every second fun! My girl and I loved dancing in the water to his music and moves!
Both noons also we had some free snacks courtesy of Village, at the reception area. These made my kids giddy with joy.
We were not celebrating anything but we saw reception pass out birthday favours for those that are. This is a plus point for me. It shows they make an effort.
What we don’t like:
Pool walking area is dirty in the late noon but can’t be helped as it got very crowded and it’s quite hard to clean the floor up with so many people around. Also, not enough chairs. We reached about 9am and majority taken up. We went back in the noon and also no seats. Do go early if you want to grab seats for your things. The rainfall water feature at the lazy river is also very strong pressure and might border on being painful or scary if you have young kids or are sunburnt. Some mould at lazy river walls too. Not a fan, but not something that ticks my no list.
Overall- definitely definitely definitely recommended. Room is small but you won’t be inside most of the time with so much to do in Sentosa.DariBRL 1,680

This time, I booked a deluxe sea-view room, and the window offers a direct view of the ocean. Plus, there's even an open-air cinema downstairs! 🎬
The pool area is also divided into two: the 7th floor has an adult pool, and the 3rd floor has a kids' pool, which is a big plus because it keeps everyone from being crowded together! It's perfect for someone like me who enjoys peace and quiet.
Coincidentally, it was my birthday 🎂 on the day I checked in. The hotel even prepared a small cake and a card for me – I was incredibly touched! 🥹🤍

The environment at the Oasia Resort Sentosa is really good overall, and the rooms are clean and hygienic. However, it does feel a bit old, with a style that harks back to resort hotels from the early 90s. Its location is super convenient; it's directly connected to the S.E.A. Aquarium and Universal Studios, and there's a monorail that takes you to the beach, which is very handy. If you don't want to eat on the island (dining there is quite expensive and options are limited), you can take the free monorail, which gets you to VivoCity in just two minutes, where there are plenty of dining choices. The breakfast spread is also quite extensive, with everything from fish, coffee, juice, bread, fruits, and hot dishes, largely catering to Chinese dietary preferences. The staff are very friendly and enthusiastic, proactively introducing hotel facilities, WiFi, the complimentary minibar items, and breakfast times and locations. Calling customer service in the room also received a quick response to our needs. We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Laurus in Sentosa last month, and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. As a brand-new property that opened in October 2025, everything felt fresh, pristine, and thoughtfully designed from the moment we arrived.
Our suite was exceptionally spacious at 115 square metres – an incredible luxury in Singapore, where such generous room sizes are rare. The décor struck the perfect balance: high-end and luxurious without ever feeling over-the-top. It exuded a refined elegance that made the space feel like a true home away from home. My wife and I both felt instantly relaxed and comfortable.
The room amenities were outstanding. We especially appreciated the premium Devialet Bluetooth speaker, the self-service coffee machine with a milk dispenser, and the thoughtful filtered water taps offering room-temperature and hot water. These details not only added convenience but also reflected a genuine commitment to sustainability by reducing single-use plastics. The bathroom was another highlight – spacious and with powerful water pressure that made every shower a delight.
What truly elevated our stay, however, was the exceptional service. From the warm and enthusiastic welcome by the manager at check-in to the attentive care throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond. A special mention goes to the delightful team member Ngang Ngang (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly!), who personally delivered a charming owl stuffed toy to our room as a welcome gift. My wife adores owls, so this small, personal touch brought us so much joy and perfectly captured the hotel’s thoughtful approach to hospitality.
Every aspect of the service felt attentive, genuine, and meticulous. We truly didn’t want to leave and found ourselves wishing we could extend our stay indefinitely. The Laurus has set a new standard for luxury in Singapore, seamlessly blending modern comfort, elegant design, and heartfelt service.

Breakfast each morning was far more than just a meal. It was an experience. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the outstanding service made us look forward to it every day. Even though the online reviews were generally average, I still firmly chose to stay here because I liked the hotel's style. Overall, it was a good experience.
Transportation (last 2 pictures):
1. The island's free B line shuttle bus (runs every 15 minutes until 12:15 AM) has a stop here. After getting off, the golf course is on the left, and the hotel is on the right. It's just a short walk up a small slope.
2. The hotel's mini-bus can take you to Universal Studios and Vivocity MRT station (Exit D), but large luggage is not allowed.
Room: Very spacious, there's even a foyer right after the entrance where you can place two suitcases. The decor and facilities are quite new, but there's no view.
Service: One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese. We arrived at 10 AM, checked in, but the room wasn't ready. The hotel delivered our luggage to the room by 3 PM. If you arrive at 3 PM, you might have to queue for check-in.
Swimming Pool: It's indeed just average. They don't even require swimming caps, and there were leaves at the bottom of the pool. It's open from 7 AM to 7 PM.DariBRL 1,233

Lovely stay! first time here and it was an awesome 2 nights stay! I booked it for my Birthday Staycaytion and wanted to peaceful stay! I also tried to keep the place neat and tidy before checking out so that the housekeeping staff wouldn’t be so tired and make their lives easier!
