On the second day of our stay, I asked for two bathrobes, a comb, and water glasses, as none were in the room. When I went to the front desk, I saw a woman with a bob haircut chatting and laughing with two Caucasians. When it was my turn, her expression immediately changed. She registered my request and confirmed my room number, but nothing was ever delivered. I stayed until the last day, and the items never arrived. Since we were out enjoying activities every day, I was too tired to go back to the front desk to ask again, so I just let it go. But it definitely affected my overall experience. I've made similar requests at the Wyndham Marina Bay, and the staff there immediately provided a comb, and bathrobes were delivered directly to the room.
I must give a shout-out: The housekeeping staff at Amari Sanctuary Resort are very dedicated; they refilled the minibar and snacks every day. The young lady who checked me in at the front desk was also very friendly, and I'm very grateful for that 🙏Dari€ 154

I had a fantastic stay at Resorts World Sentosa - Hotel Michael this time; overall, I was very satisfied 👍.
1️⃣ The location is the biggest highlight. The hotel is right next to Universal Studios, close to the Sentosa Express station, and at the beginning of Festive Walk. It's incredibly convenient to get to all the attractions; you can walk to the theme park, restaurants, and shops.
2️⃣ The service was simply superb! Since I was traveling with a child, the hotel proactively arranged an extra bed for us, offering thoughtful and attentive service. Coincidentally, some areas of the hotel were undergoing renovations. To ensure the construction noise didn't affect our stay, they generously offered complimentary access to the water park (and even helped us when we had trouble entering after checkout). They also allowed us a late checkout. Very humane and accommodating!
3️⃣ The hotel has the TungLok Heen restaurant, and the food was delicious. We could enjoy great meals without even leaving the hotel. I saw some reviews mentioning that the facilities were old, but my actual experience didn't feel as dated as reported online. Of course, compared to brand-new high-end hotels in China, the hardware might feel a bit older, but it's well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, which didn't affect our stay at all.

The hotel's location is excellent, quiet and set back from the main road. It's the closest hotel to Palawan Beach, and you can even walk to the southernmost suspension bridge in Asia. You access the hotel lobby on the third floor after walking through a parking lot.
We stayed in a sea-view room, 502. It faced west towards an MRT parking station, so the view wasn't anything special (see the second and third to last photos for our room's view). However, this orientation meant we could watch the fireworks show from another beach at 8 PM.
If you choose odd-numbered rooms from 507 onwards, you'll get a view of the southern suspension bridge (the very last photo was taken from the south-facing stairwell). Rooms from 507-513 might have their views obstructed by large trees, so for the safest bet, odd-numbered rooms from 515 onwards would offer better views. However, it seems the best-facing rooms are always reserved for foreigners. Chinese guests, perhaps, are only allocated west-facing rooms like 501-506. I've noticed this pattern during my stay – rooms with good views always go to Westerners.
The downstairs pool is beautiful, and honestly, out of the 2750 RMB room rate, about 2000 RMB feels like it's for the pool alone. On the way to the beach, you'll pass a building with a plane going through it. This is a children's career experience center. Kids aged 3-5 might enjoy it, similar to 'Pan Xiaobao' or 'World's Best' role-play centers in China. However, the price isn't cheap – over 1000 RMB for one adult and one child.Dari€ 141

We were a large group of 8 people this time, reserving four rooms. As soon as we arrived, we were immediately captivated by the beautiful lawns and peacocks roaming around – it was amazing! This hotel truly feels like a paradise for birdwatchers; we even saw hornbills and parrots. Our suites were wonderfully integrated with nature. The service was excellent; even though three of my elders from mainland China didn't speak much Mandarin, the staff were incredibly patient and accommodating. However, the restaurant service could use some improvement. Having just come from the Four Seasons in the city, I felt this place was luxurious, but overall, the Four Seasons' service was a bit better. Nevertheless, Capella is my favorite hotel in China. Our original booking was for a deluxe garden room, but even before entering, the door was already very damp. Inside, there was a musty smell, and a lot of mold around the sink. But our family of three still felt a bit shaken... Although the lobby and pool are quite beautiful, we still won't be staying here again... Choosing Oasia Hotel Downtown, Singapore, was absolutely the best decision of our entire trip! The hotel boasts an excellent location, meticulous service, and professional, warm staff. Our experience was perfect, and I wholeheartedly recommend it!
I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank three exceptional staff members: Lynne, Jonathan, and Genevre.
The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. It's right next to Universal Studios and Adventure Cove Waterpark, almost zero distance, allowing us to walk directly to both popular parks. This made traveling with kids super convenient, completely eliminating the hassle of commuting back and forth, and making it perfect for family stays.
What touched us most was Lynne at the front desk. She was warm, polite, and highly professional, communicating with patience and meticulousness. Since we had difficulty speaking English, she immediately switched to Chinese, ensuring smooth and barrier-free communication throughout, perfectly solving our language concerns while traveling abroad. Upon learning we had two children and needed two rooms that allowed easy access between them for the kids, she thoughtfully noted our request. The very next day, she proactively arranged for us to move into connecting rooms, significantly enhancing our family's comfort. Her attention to detail was truly considerate.
What moved us even more was a heartwarming emergency assistance. After checking in and preparing to explore Resorts World, our child suddenly realized that their backpack, containing nearly completed summer homework, had been accidentally left at our previous hotel in downtown Singapore. Seeing the risk of losing homework that had taken an entire holiday to complete, our child was very anxious and upset, and we, as parents, felt helpless and flustered.
In this critical moment, Jonathan and Genevre from the hotel proactively stepped forward to help. They gently comforted our child, handled the situation efficiently and responsibly, and followed up throughout the process. They immediately contacted the downtown hotel to verify the item, carefully confirmed that the backpack and summer homework were intact, quickly facilitated cross-regional communication, and then urgently arranged for a taxi to deliver the lost items back to the hotel as quickly as possible.
This entire complex process of cross-regional retrieval, coordination, and delivery took only thirty minutes! Their incredibly fast efficiency and calm, professional emergency handling ability left us deeply impressed and touched!
All the staff at Oasia Hotel Downtown demonstrated excellent professional competence and a strong service意识, with the ability to switch to Chinese service at any time. This made us feel incredibly welcomed and secure while being in a foreign country. The excellent location, thoughtful and personalized room arrangements, exceptionally warm service, and efficient and reliable emergency handling – every aspect was impeccable.
Many thanks to the three staff members for their sincere efforts! This trip became exceptionally warm and complete thanks to Oasia Hotel Downtown. We wholeheartedly give it a massive thumbs-up! We had the absolute pleasure of staying at The Laurus in Sentosa last month, and it was one of the most memorable hotel experiences we’ve ever had. As a brand-new property that opened in October 2025, everything felt fresh, pristine, and thoughtfully designed from the moment we arrived.
Our suite was exceptionally spacious at 115 square metres – an incredible luxury in Singapore, where such generous room sizes are rare. The décor struck the perfect balance: high-end and luxurious without ever feeling over-the-top. It exuded a refined elegance that made the space feel like a true home away from home. My wife and I both felt instantly relaxed and comfortable.
The room amenities were outstanding. We especially appreciated the premium Devialet Bluetooth speaker, the self-service coffee machine with a milk dispenser, and the thoughtful filtered water taps offering room-temperature and hot water. These details not only added convenience but also reflected a genuine commitment to sustainability by reducing single-use plastics. The bathroom was another highlight – spacious and with powerful water pressure that made every shower a delight.
What truly elevated our stay, however, was the exceptional service. From the warm and enthusiastic welcome by the manager at check-in to the attentive care throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond. A special mention goes to the delightful team member Ngang Ngang (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly!), who personally delivered a charming owl stuffed toy to our room as a welcome gift. My wife adores owls, so this small, personal touch brought us so much joy and perfectly captured the hotel’s thoughtful approach to hospitality.
Every aspect of the service felt attentive, genuine, and meticulous. We truly didn’t want to leave and found ourselves wishing we could extend our stay indefinitely. The Laurus has set a new standard for luxury in Singapore, seamlessly blending modern comfort, elegant design, and heartfelt service.

From the moment we arrived, the reception team gave us a wonderfully warm welcome and were extremely helpful and informative about the resort’s amenities. Even though the online reviews were generally average, I still firmly chose to stay here because I liked the hotel's style. Overall, it was a good experience.
Transportation (last 2 pictures):
1. The island's free B line shuttle bus (runs every 15 minutes until 12:15 AM) has a stop here. After getting off, the golf course is on the left, and the hotel is on the right. It's just a short walk up a small slope.
2. The hotel's mini-bus can take you to Universal Studios and Vivocity MRT station (Exit D), but large luggage is not allowed.
Room: Very spacious, there's even a foyer right after the entrance where you can place two suitcases. The decor and facilities are quite new, but there's no view.
Service: One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese. We arrived at 10 AM, checked in, but the room wasn't ready. The hotel delivered our luggage to the room by 3 PM. If you arrive at 3 PM, you might have to queue for check-in.
Swimming Pool: It's indeed just average. They don't even require swimming caps, and there were leaves at the bottom of the pool. It's open from 7 AM to 7 PM.Dari€ 181

Siloso Beach Resort is a treasure hotel with green and eco-friendly concept. The staying experience is kinda of beyond our expectation.

The design concept is natural, green, original and sustainable. Hotel room is spacious and part of their staff are persons with disabilities. The hotel's surroundings are really quiet. You can easily access Siloso Beach directly from the pool, which is super convenient. Plus, they offer free paddleboards and small boats. During our three-day stay, we spent our days exploring and then came back to enjoy the pool in the evenings. Even after visiting Adventure Cove Waterpark, we still had a long, fun time at the pool. There are lots of communal balls to play with in the pool, and even a slide for kids.
I found a free MRT code on Xiaohongshu to get to the island from Vivocity. The MRT code happened to be for Shangri-La, which was really convenient. Our family of three just scanned one code to pass through. We took the MRT to Beach Station, then went down to the first floor and took Bus A for three stops, getting off at Siloso Point Station. This bus stops at every station and runs in a loop, though sometimes it might wait a bit longer at Beach Station for passengers.
To get to Resorts World Station from the hotel, you also take Bus A. There's a shuttle bus to Vivocity, but we never took it because the timing never worked out for us. Honestly, the bus and MRT are pretty convenient anyway.
Since the hotel is built on a hill, the front desk is on the fifth floor, and taxis drop you off directly there. We checked in on a Sunday and even got free ice cream, which tasted good. Check-in didn't take as long as some online reviews mentioned, and most of the staff spoke Chinese. My overall experience was quite good.
Breakfast is on the third floor, and it's just so-so. My favorite was the Laksa noodles; the broth was rich, and you could pick whatever toppings you wanted for the noodles or vermicelli. My dad liked the Thai milk tea, and of course, my child gravitated towards all the sweet stuff. However, the tables they assigned us for all three days were quite small, which I found inconvenient. The main issue was that they weren't very proactive in clearing plates, which made it feel a bit cramped.

Had a very enjoyable stay at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove. The room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. One thing I really appreciated was how cold and refreshing the air conditioning was, especially considering how hot the weather outside was.
The location was also very convenient. The hotel provides a free shuttle service every 30 minutes to VivoCity, which made getting around very easy. There are also many restaurants within walking distance, along with supermarkets like Cold Storage and Little Farms nearby, so it was very convenient for food and daily necessities.
Breakfast was enjoyable as well, with good variety and accommodating service. I especially appreciated being able to request a customized fried rice without soy sauce and gluten, which was a thoughtful touch for dietary preferences.

☹️ This isn't really the hotel's fault, but there's no clear return point for shared bikes outside the hotel entrance, so I couldn't return it. The front desk didn't know how to resolve it either, and I ended up paying over 60 yuan for it.
👍 The pool environment and service are both great. The shuttle bus is very convenient.

When I went to the front desk, I saw a woman with a bob haircut chatting and laughing with two Caucasians. When it was my turn, her expression immediately changed. She registered my request and confirmed my room number, but nothing was ever delivered. I stayed until the last day, and the items never arrived. Since we were out enjoying activities every day, I was too tired to go back to the front desk to ask again, so I just let it go. But it definitely affected my overall experience. I've made similar requests at the Wyndham Marina Bay, and the staff there immediately provided a comb, and bathrobes were delivered directly to the room.
I must give a shout-out: The housekeeping staff at Amari Sanctuary Resort are very dedicated; they refilled the minibar and snacks every day. The young lady who checked me in at the front desk was also very friendly, and I'm very grateful for that 🙏Dari€ 154

I had a fantastic stay at Resorts World Sentosa - Hotel Michael this time; overall, I was very satisfied 👍.
1️⃣ The location is the biggest highlight. The hotel is right next to Universal Studios, close to the Sentosa Express station, and at the beginning of Festive Walk. It's incredibly convenient to get to all the attractions; you can walk to the theme park, restaurants, and shops.
2️⃣ The service was simply superb! Since I was traveling with a child, the hotel proactively arranged an extra bed for us, offering thoughtful and attentive service. Coincidentally, some areas of the hotel were undergoing renovations. To ensure the construction noise didn't affect our stay, they generously offered complimentary access to the water park (and even helped us when we had trouble entering after checkout). They also allowed us a late checkout. Very humane and accommodating!
3️⃣ The hotel has the TungLok Heen restaurant, and the food was delicious. We could enjoy great meals without even leaving the hotel. I saw some reviews mentioning that the facilities were old, but my actual experience didn't feel as dated as reported online. Of course, compared to brand-new high-end hotels in China, the hardware might feel a bit older, but it's well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, which didn't affect our stay at all.

The hotel's location is excellent, quiet and set back from the main road. It's the closest hotel to Palawan Beach, and you can even walk to the southernmost suspension bridge in Asia. You access the hotel lobby on the third floor after walking through a parking lot.
We stayed in a sea-view room, 502. It faced west towards an MRT parking station, so the view wasn't anything special (see the second and third to last photos for our room's view). However, this orientation meant we could watch the fireworks show from another beach at 8 PM.
If you choose odd-numbered rooms from 507 onwards, you'll get a view of the southern suspension bridge (the very last photo was taken from the south-facing stairwell). Rooms from 507-513 might have their views obstructed by large trees, so for the safest bet, odd-numbered rooms from 515 onwards would offer better views. However, it seems the best-facing rooms are always reserved for foreigners. Chinese guests, perhaps, are only allocated west-facing rooms like 501-506. I've noticed this pattern during my stay – rooms with good views always go to Westerners.
The downstairs pool is beautiful, and honestly, out of the 2750 RMB room rate, about 2000 RMB feels like it's for the pool alone. On the way to the beach, you'll pass a building with a plane going through it. This is a children's career experience center. Kids aged 3-5 might enjoy it, similar to 'Pan Xiaobao' or 'World's Best' role-play centers in China. However, the price isn't cheap – over 1000 RMB for one adult and one child.Dari€ 141

I want to take this opportunity to sincerely thank three exceptional staff members: Lynne, Jonathan, and Genevre.
The hotel's location is truly unbeatable. It's right next to Universal Studios and Adventure Cove Waterpark, almost zero distance, allowing us to walk directly to both popular parks. This made traveling with kids super convenient, completely eliminating the hassle of commuting back and forth, and making it perfect for family stays.
What touched us most was Lynne at the front desk. She was warm, polite, and highly professional, communicating with patience and meticulousness. Since we had difficulty speaking English, she immediately switched to Chinese, ensuring smooth and barrier-free communication throughout, perfectly solving our language concerns while traveling abroad. Upon learning we had two children and needed two rooms that allowed easy access between them for the kids, she thoughtfully noted our request. The very next day, she proactively arranged for us to move into connecting rooms, significantly enhancing our family's comfort. Her attention to detail was truly considerate.
What moved us even more was a heartwarming emergency assistance. After checking in and preparing to explore Resorts World, our child suddenly realized that their backpack, containing nearly completed summer homework, had been accidentally left at our previous hotel in downtown Singapore. Seeing the risk of losing homework that had taken an entire holiday to complete, our child was very anxious and upset, and we, as parents, felt helpless and flustered.
In this critical moment, Jonathan and Genevre from the hotel proactively stepped forward to help. They gently comforted our child, handled the situation efficiently and responsibly, and followed up throughout the process. They immediately contacted the downtown hotel to verify the item, carefully confirmed that the backpack and summer homework were intact, quickly facilitated cross-regional communication, and then urgently arranged for a taxi to deliver the lost items back to the hotel as quickly as possible.
This entire complex process of cross-regional retrieval, coordination, and delivery took only thirty minutes! Their incredibly fast efficiency and calm, professional emergency handling ability left us deeply impressed and touched!
All the staff at Oasia Hotel Downtown demonstrated excellent professional competence and a strong service意识, with the ability to switch to Chinese service at any time. This made us feel incredibly welcomed and secure while being in a foreign country. The excellent location, thoughtful and personalized room arrangements, exceptionally warm service, and efficient and reliable emergency handling – every aspect was impeccable.

Our suite was exceptionally spacious at 115 square metres – an incredible luxury in Singapore, where such generous room sizes are rare. The décor struck the perfect balance: high-end and luxurious without ever feeling over-the-top. It exuded a refined elegance that made the space feel like a true home away from home. My wife and I both felt instantly relaxed and comfortable.
The room amenities were outstanding. We especially appreciated the premium Devialet Bluetooth speaker, the self-service coffee machine with a milk dispenser, and the thoughtful filtered water taps offering room-temperature and hot water. These details not only added convenience but also reflected a genuine commitment to sustainability by reducing single-use plastics. The bathroom was another highlight – spacious and with powerful water pressure that made every shower a delight.
What truly elevated our stay, however, was the exceptional service. From the warm and enthusiastic welcome by the manager at check-in to the attentive care throughout our stay, the staff went above and beyond. A special mention goes to the delightful team member Ngang Ngang (I hope I’ve spelled that correctly!), who personally delivered a charming owl stuffed toy to our room as a welcome gift. My wife adores owls, so this small, personal touch brought us so much joy and perfectly captured the hotel’s thoughtful approach to hospitality.
Every aspect of the service felt attentive, genuine, and meticulous. We truly didn’t want to leave and found ourselves wishing we could extend our stay indefinitely. The Laurus has set a new standard for luxury in Singapore, seamlessly blending modern comfort, elegant design, and heartfelt service.

We were incredibly grateful to be upgraded to the Signature Suite for the occasion. The villa was absolutely stunning, beautifully designed, luxurious, and incredibly private. Combined with perfect weather throughout our stay, it made for an idyllic and relaxing escape.
Breakfast each morning was far more than just a meal. It was an experience. The quality of the food, the atmosphere, and the outstanding service made us look forward to it every day. A very special thank you to Fernando, who looked after us so warmly on both mornings. He always made sure our glasses were full, took the time to chat with us, and truly made breakfast feel personal and memorable.

Even though the online reviews were generally average, I still firmly chose to stay here because I liked the hotel's style. Overall, it was a good experience.
Transportation (last 2 pictures):
1. The island's free B line shuttle bus (runs every 15 minutes until 12:15 AM) has a stop here. After getting off, the golf course is on the left, and the hotel is on the right. It's just a short walk up a small slope.
2. The hotel's mini-bus can take you to Universal Studios and Vivocity MRT station (Exit D), but large luggage is not allowed.
Room: Very spacious, there's even a foyer right after the entrance where you can place two suitcases. The decor and facilities are quite new, but there's no view.
Service: One of the front desk staff speaks Chinese. We arrived at 10 AM, checked in, but the room wasn't ready. The hotel delivered our luggage to the room by 3 PM. If you arrive at 3 PM, you might have to queue for check-in.

The hotel's surroundings are really quiet. You can easily access Siloso Beach directly from the pool, which is super convenient. Plus, they offer free paddleboards and small boats. During our three-day stay, we spent our days exploring and then came back to enjoy the pool in the evenings. Even after visiting Adventure Cove Waterpark, we still had a long, fun time at the pool. There are lots of communal balls to play with in the pool, and even a slide for kids.
I found a free MRT code on Xiaohongshu to get to the island from Vivocity. The MRT code happened to be for Shangri-La, which was really convenient. Our family of three just scanned one code to pass through. We took the MRT to Beach Station, then went down to the first floor and took Bus A for three stops, getting off at Siloso Point Station. This bus stops at every station and runs in a loop, though sometimes it might wait a bit longer at Beach Station for passengers.
To get to Resorts World Station from the hotel, you also take Bus A. There's a shuttle bus to Vivocity, but we never took it because the timing never worked out for us. Honestly, the bus and MRT are pretty convenient anyway.
Since the hotel is built on a hill, the front desk is on the fifth floor, and taxis drop you off directly there. We checked in on a Sunday and even got free ice cream, which tasted good. Check-in didn't take as long as some online reviews mentioned, and most of the staff spoke Chinese. My overall experience was quite good.
Breakfast is on the third floor, and it's just so-so. My favorite was the Laksa noodles; the broth was rich, and you could pick whatever toppings you wanted for the noodles or vermicelli. My dad liked the Thai milk tea, and of course, my child gravitated towards all the sweet stuff. However, the tables they assigned us for all three days were quite small, which I found inconvenient. The main issue was that they weren't very proactive in clearing plates, which made it feel a bit cramped.

Bottled water is not provided in the room, as there is a drinking water tap on the sink. If you're not used to drinking tap water, you can buy your own bottled water.
Facilities: There's a swimming pool on the 6th floor, which is very clean (not heated). Pool towels can be picked up right outside the elevator on the 6th floor. You need to tap your room card to access all floors, and two room cards are provided.

I've noticed this pattern during my stay – rooms with good views always go to Westerners.
The downstairs pool is beautiful, and honestly, out of the 2750 RMB room rate, about 2000 RMB feels like it's for the pool alone. On the way to the beach, you'll pass a building with a plane going through it. This is a children's career experience center. Kids aged 3-5 might enjoy it, similar to 'Pan Xiaobao' or 'World's Best' role-play centers in China. However, the price isn't cheap – over 1000 RMB for one adult and one child.Dari€ 141

We were a large group of 8 people this time, reserving four rooms. As soon as we arrived, we were immediately captivated by the beautiful lawns and peacocks roaming around – it was amazing! This hotel truly feels like a paradise for birdwatchers; we even saw hornbills and parrots. Our suites were wonderfully integrated with nature. The service was excellent; even though three of my elders from mainland China didn't speak much Mandarin, the staff were incredibly patient and accommodating. However, the restaurant service could use some improvement. Having just come from the Four Seasons in the city, I felt this place was luxurious, but overall, the Four Seasons' service was a bit better. Nevertheless, Capella is my favorite hotel in China. I missed staying at the one in Bangkok last time, but I'll definitely try it if I get the chance next time. Oh, and the shuttle service to popular shopping malls is an absolute lifesaver!Dari€ 1,020

Our original booking was for a deluxe garden room, but even before entering, the door was already very damp. Inside, there was a musty smell, and a lot of mold around the sink. Later, my husband went to the toilet and said there were many bugs... So he rushed to the front desk to report it... Afterward, they moved us to a larger room! But our family of three still felt a bit shaken... Although the lobby and pool are quite beautiful, we still won't be staying here again... We didn't even receive a complimentary greeting for our anniversary celebration... We had the highest expectations for this hotel, but it turned out to be the least satisfactory stay during our 9 days in Singapore, and the service was just mediocre!
