✈️ 马来西亚人去海南岛方便吗？

老实说，这一 part 我原本最担心，结果实际去了一趟之后，我会讲一句：比我想象中简单很多。

首先是✈️航班，从吉隆坡直飞海南岛（通常是三亚或海口）其实蛮多选择的，飞行时间大概 3 到 4 个小时左右，比你飞去日本、韩国轻松很多。对我们来说，很像飞去泰国或越南那种感觉，完全不会累到怀疑人生 😂

然后是🛂入境这块，现在去海南岛对马来西亚人很友好（很多时候是免签或手续很简单，出发前查一下最新政策就好）。我当时过关也蛮顺的，没有那种很复杂或卡很久的情况，这点真的加分。

再来是🗣️语言，这个完全不用担心。海南岛基本上都是华人，如果你会一点中文，沟通是完全没问题的；就算英文，其实在酒店或旅游区也都 OK。对比去一些完全语言不通的国家，这里真的轻松很多。

如果你可以轻松去泰国、越南，那海南岛对你来说基本也是同一个难度，甚至更简单一点。

我那天基本就是：走去海边 → 坐一下 → 回酒店泳池 → 再回海边，循环一整天。
👉 简单讲就是：来这里不用安排太多，发呆就是重点。

🛕 南山寺｜安静又有文化感的祈福地

如果你一直在海边，其实可以来南山寺换个节奏。这里整体氛围很安静，有很大的观音像，很多人会来祈福或走一走。

这个就比较偏玩乐型了，很适合年轻人或家庭。里面有很多滑水道、水上设施，还有一些比较刺激的项目。

我很推荐大家去到海南岛一定要选海景酒店来住！因为像我那时一进房间最明显的感觉就是：窗外直接看到海 + 有阳台 + 早上阳光打进来真的很舒服。那一刻真的会有在充电的感觉，而且这种感觉不是那种城市酒店可以给到的🥰。

至于区域的话，我推荐住海棠湾或亚龙湾，因为那里很多酒店是直接靠海的，有私人沙滩或无边泳池。晚上坐在泳池边看海风吹，其实真的有马尔代夫的感觉，尤其是天气好的时候🌤️ 不过也要讲实话一点⚠️ 这里不是马尔代夫那种“岛上只有酒店+完全隔绝”的感觉。海南岛还是有城市感的，有车、有商场、有很多人，所以它的感觉更像是：“海岛度假 + 方便生活”混合型😎

但我觉得重点来了💡
它赢的地方是“性价比”。同样海景房，在马尔代夫可能是完全不同价位，但在海南岛，你是有机会用比较合理的价格住到不错的海景酒店。

It’s been a few days since I got back from my Sanya trip, and I’m finally getting around to writing this review! 😂 My sister recommended this hotel to me. A few years ago, her family stayed here during their Sanya vacation and had an excellent experience, so she highly recommended it for our family trip this time. From the moment we checked in, we felt the staff's warmth. Seeing that we were a family traveling with a young child, they upgraded us to a family room. They also noted my child's birthday and sent a small cake on the day itself. The room was clearly well-maintained, and we could see the sea right from inside. The balcony was perfect for drying clothes. My child absolutely loved the hotel pool. What truly surprised me was the clothes-folding service – something I've never experienced in all my years of traveling! It was an amazing touch. Before we checked out, the staff repeatedly asked about our stay, and knowing we were traveling with a child, they even gave us a parting gift. The surprises just kept coming! From its location to its facilities and service, this hotel is simply impeccable. I highly recommend it to everyone! 😄

Treated like a VIP on my birthday! Room surprise + seafood buffet with grilled crocodile, this hotel really knows how to pamper you 🎂 My Sanya trip happened to coincide with my birthday, and I originally thought it would be just a normal stay, but I ended up being incredibly touched. I have to give a special shout-out to the housekeeping staff – when I returned to my room in the evening, I found a cute little cake made of rose petals and towels on the bed, along with a handwritten birthday card. There was also a delicate small cake and a fruit platter on the desk, which instantly cheered me up. These little touches weren't just standard procedure; they genuinely made me feel cared for. Now, let's talk about the super value-for-money ”package including dinner buffet for two.” I used to think all hotel buffets were pretty much the same, but this one changed my mind. The freshness of the food was top-notch, and there was a wide variety of seafood. The biggest surprise was finding grilled crocodile! It was my first time trying it; the meat was firm, a bit like a cross between chicken and fish, and dipping it in the special sauce was amazing. The tropical fruit section was a colorful palette, with rambutan, wax apples, jackfruit, and freshly opened Hainan coconuts that were sweet and refreshing – I drank two in one go. What truly elevated the dinner experience was the ambiance. The restaurant faces the sea, and as the evening sunset glowed through the floor-to-ceiling windows, dining while watching the sunset was so romantic it left me speechless. There was also a Filipino band playing live, with soft jazz accompanying the sound of the waves, making me want to stay an extra hour. The waiter saw the cake on our table and even offered to take photos and asked if we needed help cutting it. In short, this birthday experience far exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and comfortable, the sea-view restaurant offered an unbeatable view, and the buffet was excellent value for money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to celebrate an anniversary or simply treat themselves. Remember to choose the package that includes dinner – you definitely won't regret it! 🌟

After comparing many hotels, I finally chose this one, and my stay completely exceeded expectations. The hotel has a grand Chinese-style design, and the public area's lagoon-style pool is also beautiful. The staff were attentive and warm; from the moment we got out of the car until we checked in and got to our room, they proactively guided and assisted us, and they were very responsive to our needs. The hotel's location is great, right outside is a commercial street, making dining and shopping convenient. Although it's not a beachfront hotel, it's very close to the sea, just a short walk away. It's my top choice for a vacation, and I've saved it for my next visit!

The villa is beautiful and the pool water is very clean. The hotel is right next to the beach, so you can walk over and dip your toes in the water. The rooms are large and plentiful, and I got a bit disoriented when I first checked in. Unlike other standalone villa hotels I've stayed at, this one doesn't have a butler service; you need to call the front desk for any requests. It also felt like the hotel was understaffed. We checked in during peak hours, and the front desk staff looked very tired and overwhelmed. They didn't even guide guests queuing up in an orderly fashion. The experience in this regard was quite poor compared to the Hilton we stayed at two days ago. If you're staying in a villa, you'll need to bring your own mosquito repellent. Because the rooms are so large and there's a lot of greenery, even electric mosquito coils were largely ineffective. I didn't see any mosquito traps or similar facilities outside either. We were almost carried away by Sanya's mosquitoes!

First, the pros: The hotel is very close to the sea; you can walk out from the ground floor and be on the beach in a few dozen meters. Since it's at the very end, the beach is quite clean. The rooms are also clean, and the housekeeping staff are all very friendly. There's a pharmacy and a small convenience store right in the hotel lobby, which is quite convenient for buying medicine and other necessities. The concierge service was also excellent, actively helping with luggage upon arrival and departure. There's even a ** (food delivery) locker at the lobby entrance, which makes ordering takeout very convenient. Now, the cons: The front desk service was terrible. The room they initially assigned us could only be used for showering while standing in the bathtub. Since one of my companions had difficulty with their leg, I asked for a different room. The front desk staff immediately told me the hotel was fully booked and there were no other rooms available. I had no choice but to contact Ctrip, and they quickly arranged a room change for us. When checking out, I requested a late check-out because my child needed an afternoon nap. Again, the front desk told me the hotel was fully booked and we could only stay until 12:30 PM. However, before calling, I had already checked the booking page, and our room type was still available for sale that day, so it wasn't fully booked. Oh well, we checked out on time. Breakfast: The variety was extremely limited, and most of the options seemed more suitable for Russians. I stayed for three days, and as a woman with a small appetite, I never felt full. In the evening, there's also a self-service BBQ on the ground floor for 98 yuan per person. I wouldn't recommend making a special trip to Bohou Village Night Market; it's just a short road, a few dozen meters long, entirely filled with BBQ stalls. If you plan to book this hotel, I suggest getting a full sea-view room directly. The full sea-view rooms seem to have been renovated, and the facilities look newer. Also, a word of advice: do not book through **. I saw others who booked through **, and when issues arose, the hotel and ** just passed the buck, leaving the customer to suffer. This trip was long with many uncertainties, and I deeply experienced Ctrip's problem-solving capabilities. They truly are the king of the tourism industry; kudos to Ctrip! 👍

5-day, 4-night experience. First, the location: The balcony faces the sea, and a 10-minute walk west along the beach takes you to Coconut Dream Corridor. Another 10-minute walk with navigation leads to Xianmang Night Market and the Second Seafood Market. It's super convenient to get everywhere. Next, the service: It's a very welcoming hotel. The family-friendly services, room service, duty-free shop shuttle, and airport drop-off service are all very thoughtful. The smiles and politeness of every staff member can truly put you at ease.

We were very satisfied with the room. A huge thank you to our hotel butler, Li Shiping (Xiao Li), who was incredibly patient, meticulous, and attentive in helping us with numerous issues during our stay. For example, he assisted with supplies and meals for our children and even helped us with a late check-out due to a flight delay. Xiao Li also diligently resolved many other small details that came up during our stay. We were also lucky enough to get an upgrade to a sea-view room! The beach was just a 3-minute walk away, and there was a pool right downstairs where our kids had an absolute blast and didn't want to leave. It was a very happy and enjoyable vacation at this hotel.

First time visiting Sanya and all I wanted was a hotel where I could just relax. I did a lot of research and read countless hotel reviews before my trip, so I actually didn't have high expectations, but this place genuinely exceeded them! The only issues I could think of were having to cross a road to get to the beach, spotting a gecko in the room, an outdated hairdryer, the 'afternoon tea for dad' included in the package was a bit simple, and breakfast wasn't particularly outstanding. Also, the air conditioning wasn't very powerful, and the fridge wasn't very cold. But besides all that, everything else was excellent! The staff were very responsive, the bed was huge, the hotel was beautiful, the room was clean, and the pool was also quite clean. The room offered great privacy, and you could hear birds chirping (not too loudly), making time feel like it slowed down. I will definitely be back to stay here again! On a final note, don't listen to Trip.com's promotions; **[hotel name/website]** allows for room upgrades, but Trip.com doesn't. Giving a negative review to Trip.com, I won't be booking through them again.

My stay at Sanya Yalong Bay Shixi Villa Jianguo Resort was absolutely fantastic! A special shout-out to the front desk staff for their warm and efficient service. Not only was check-in super quick, but they also proactively upgraded my room to the sea-view one-bedroom loft apartment I had hoped for. The room itself was spacious and bright, with elegant and tasteful decor. Opening the window revealed a stunning sea view – truly breathtaking! The apartment-style design, complete with a fully equipped kitchen, made for a comfortable and convenient stay. What's more, the price for this stay was incredibly good value for money; getting such a high-quality experience for less than 800 yuan was truly amazing! Both the hotel's service and facilities left a lasting impression. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Sanya, and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Due to noise issues in our previous lake-view family room, we reported it to Gina, who then moved us to a family room in the main building. Overall, this room had lower ceilings and older facilities than the previous one, but it was more spacious. The best part was how quiet it was; after 10 PM, there was virtually no noise outside, which was great for light sleepers. I really appreciate Gina from Guest Services for her attention to detail; she even prepared a small cake for the child, who was thrilled. The hotel pool's bubble activity is every Tuesday and Thursday at 4:30 PM. My child had so much fun they completely forgot themselves, but then developed a fever that evening. When I asked the hotel for an ear thermometer, they replied that they only had mercury thermometers. How could an A+ parent-child hotel not have an ear thermometer? While an ear thermometer might not be as accurate as a mercury one, it's difficult to use a mercury thermometer with very young children who might not cooperate. Of course, we usually bring our own ear thermometer when we travel, but there are always unexpected situations, like forgetting it this time. Service: Most of the restaurant staff, cleaning ladies in public areas, and bellhops at the entrance actively greeted us, and they were all very good. Getting Around: There's a night market within walking distance of the hotel. The beach is just a left turn out of the hotel and across the road. The hotel can arrange a car to Yalong Bay Tropical Paradise Forest Park, which was a filming location for 'If You Are the One 2' – just ask the Golden Key concierge in the lobby. For other places, you generally need to take a taxi. For example, if you want to go to West Island, it's at least a 45-minute taxi ride. If you're staying for three days or less, I honestly recommend just staying at the hotel. Don't venture out too much, or you'll lose the meaning of a vacation and get too tired. Issues encountered in the room: 1. The most memorable thing was that my child's white socks turned black very quickly after walking on the floor. It seemed the room floor wasn't mopped daily, as I also saw hair near the dining table that hadn't been cleaned up. However, the housekeeping staff were quite considerate; they noticed we needed more water and directly provided 8 bottles. Linens and room consumables were fully replenished after previous guests checked out. But when our extended stay room was cleaned the next day, they took away the child's bathrobe and didn't replace it, nor did they replenish consumables. I had to call later that night to request them. Overall, it was easy to tell that different people were cleaning on different days. 2. There were also some hardware issues, such as the curtain and screen window switches being reversed. The lighting modes were quite unintuitive; for example, there was no night light mode or a mode to only turn on the lights above the bedside table. The shower drain worked better than in the previous room, flowing smoothly without overflowing. However, the hot water in the shower took too long to come out – definitely over ten seconds – so long that I thought hot water wasn't coming out at all. 3. For dining, we only experienced breakfast and the buffet dinner. My child particularly enjoyed the fruit at the buffet dinner and the mermaid show. The food quality overall wasn't particularly outstanding; it was just enough to fill you up, with no dishes leaving a special impression. The photo is of breakfast. Long after checking out, I realized I had left some items, but I didn't receive any call or feedback from the hotel. Although if they had called, I probably would have said to discard them, I wonder if the current hotel process for lost and found items is to wait for guests to call and inquire, otherwise, they assume it's not wanted and dispose of it? We experienced the afternoon tea and travel photography included in the package. We didn't go to the DIY activity.

Came to Sanya on a whim. After landing, I booked the Crowne Plaza, which is quite close to the airport. Originally, I planned to stay only one night before moving on. Although the room was a bit dated, it was very spacious, which I was quite happy with! The balcony even had a bathtub and a sea view, which was a huge plus! It was probably past 1 PM, so there was no one available to help with luggage. The breakfast variety was decent, I guess. It felt a bit like a large canteen... Overall, the value for money was good. Too bad I didn't get to experience any other activities!

The hotel's location is excellent; just across the street is the Coconut Dream Corridor, and Sanya Bay beach is gentle. We enjoyed watching the sea, the waves, and even a typhoon approaching. We booked a family room for two nights and happened to be there during Typhoon Maysak. The room flooded due to heavy rain overnight, but at 3 AM, they still managed to move us to a suite within an hour. Our child also had a great time in the play area. Despite the inconvenience, we were grateful for the genuine and responsive service from all the staff. My parents also highly praised the Pullman's service.

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic, with a breathtakingly blue sea right there! If I wasn't so afraid of getting a sunburn, I would have walked barefoot in my swimsuit straight to the beach – that's how close it is. Choosing this hotel was definitely the right decision; the beach is practically part of the property. There were lots of foreigners, giving the place a really international vibe. A special shout-out to the lobby staff, especially numbers 3 and 15! There was a guy at the entrance who helped with luggage, and at the front desk, they offered refreshing lemonade. The hotel's service standards are very high; everyone greets you in the lobby. Breakfast was also good, with plenty of options I enjoyed. I'm looking forward to my next stay here, and I'll definitely be recommending it to all my friends and family!

I saw Sanya Bay Holiday Inn mentioned online as being very family-friendly, and after staying there this time, I can confirm it lives up to its reputation. Before check-in, a dedicated butler from the hotel contacted me and added me on WeChat, proactively asking about our needs. What truly stood out was that every morning after we checked in, they diligently inquired about our stay experience. This is quite rare; at other family-friendly hotels I've stayed at, the butler only added WeChat and didn't follow up so actively every day. Next, let's talk about the hotel's pools. During our stay, two pools were under maintenance, so we only used the other two. I asked a lifeguard, and they said the pool water is changed every 24 hours. I actually witnessed the water being changed twice, which is a huge plus. The breakfast buffet was very extensive. I personally feel it's much richer than the breakfast at the Sheraton Sanya Yalong Bay. The breakfast area was also bright and spacious. By the way, the dinner at the Chinese restaurant was delicious; we ate there two nights in a row. Overall, our stay was a perfect 10.

Absolutely thrilled with my stay! The day before arrival, our butler Vivian proactively reached out and even managed to upgrade our room. Since we arrived quite early, she also helped us check in two hours ahead of schedule, which was incredibly helpful. The infinity pool is absolutely stunning – perfect for photos and a great place to swim. In the evenings, there are even performances by the pool, which was a lovely bonus! It's just a short walk across the road to the beach, and the cleanliness and overall environment were excellent. The entire stay was fantastic, honestly, the experience felt just as good as hotels in Yalong Bay. Next time, I'll definitely be staying longer!

This trip to Sanya, I stayed two nights at Shangri-La and three nights at Sofitel. Both were basic room types booked online, similarly priced and great value. Both are also very family-friendly, so I'll do a side-by-side comparison. First, my conclusion: personally, I feel Shangri-La is better for children over 7, while Sofitel suits those under 6. Shangri-La offers outdoor science-based activities like firefly and butterfly encounters, plus a petting zoo where you can ride ponies and ostriches. Sofitel focuses on indoor crafting activities such as biscuit art, palace fan painting, and sand art. Shangri-La's kids' club features climbing frames, large slides, and adventure-style play, while Sofitel's has ball pits and bounce castles. Shangri-La's children's water park is larger than Sofitel's and has two waterslides, whereas Sofitel only has one large funnel slide. Shangri-La hosts beach carnivals, while at Sofitel, you can watch evening performances from the restaurant. As for rooms, Shangri-La's come with a sofa bed that can unfold to sleep an adult, while Sofitel provides a 1.1-meter crib. In terms of decor, Shangri-La's rooms have a standard 10-year-old style. Sofitel's rooms are larger, with a walk-in closet right by the entrance, which is very convenient for extended stays with lots of luggage. However, Shangri-La had a major drawback for me: the rooms were incredibly damp. The bedding felt sticky, and running the dehumidifier at night was a bit noisy. Initially, I thought it was due to the rain, but even during a typhoon and heavy downpour at Sofitel, I didn't experience the same issue. I believe this is because Shangri-La's rooms face north, while all of Sofitel's face south.

Every photo we took looked like it belonged in a magazine. It felt so serene and relaxing, truly a perfect getaway. Now for the main highlight: I can't recommend our incredible butler, Dora, enough! 🥰 She was incredibly thoughtful and warm. She proactively upgraded us to a sea-view room, and the moment we opened the door, we were stunned. The endless ocean stretched out before us – the view was absolutely breathtaking. Upon learning it was our anniversary, she secretly decorated our room in advance, adding so much special touch. It was a completely unexpected and delightful surprise. The entire community's design and facilities are incredibly high-end, with perfect attention to detail – it's clear a lot of thought went into it. The hotel is nestled on a hill, and the attentive service from the staff started the moment I walked in and never stopped. First, I want to thank my butler, Giselle. She patiently answered all my little questions throughout my stay, responded incredibly quickly, and even proactively reminded me about the weather and class schedules. The hotel's wellness classes are all free, and the mini-bar was generously stocked. The front desk staff were also wonderful. Before my morning class, I wanted to buy yoga pants from the gift shop, but it wasn't open yet. The young, baby-faced gentleman at the front desk actively helped me solve this problem. Later, when there was an incorrect price for an item, the lady at the shop proactively contacted me for a refund. And the room, well, it was all about the details! The breakfast variety wasn't huge but it was exquisite, satisfying even those on a diet. I tried both the Saffron Spanish restaurant and Yongfu, and the food and service were both excellent, excellent, excellent. I also visited Jian Shan Yuan, and it truly lives up to its 'Little Kyoto' reputation. I had limited time and didn't get to see many parts of the community, but I've already booked my next trip. We've stayed at several similar hotels, but our whole family loves this one the most, so we immediately decided to extend our stay. The hotel building is supposedly the newest wing of the old BAO Hotel across the street where those staying in the Shanghai Huating Boutique must go for breakfast. We waited 25 minutes to check as there was one desk agent serving one customer although after 2pm. The other staff agent appeared after 3pm. We were required to pay a refundable 500 RMB deposit and after checking into our room, God only knows what anyone would take from the room that was worth 500 RMB. Old not ironed bed linen, rusted garbage can, rusted balcony sink, old clean bathroom towel, old kitchen appliances which only the refrigerator was plugged in to work. The room condition (walls, floors, tiles, fixtures, etc) of the 8 years old hotel that opened in 2018 is far worse than it should be unless they used old materials to build. The option to PAY MORE for an “ocean view” is not worth it. After complaining that my room had a “pool view” AND I didn’t get the “ocean view” room I had PREPAID for, I was told I could change to another room that had an ocean view the NEXT DAY (because all of the 2 twin bedrooms with “ocean view” were already occupied for the day. But after I was shown the only room that had a view of the unsightly harbor/ocean which came with an old hard king size mattress and in worse condition than my 2 twin beds room, I decided not to move to another room BECAUSE after viewing the other available rooms where guests had checked out, there were none any better to justify packing up and moving to another old room. I contacted Trip.com, but because the cancellation period for THIS hotel expired the day before arrival, thus not allowing a chance to view the room before accepting the room at checkin. This is a red flag 🚩 as a hotel with pride & confidence in its products & service would allow the cancellation to extend to AT LEAST to 2-4pm on the planned checkin date especially at a famous beach resort (DaDongHai) during the 15 days long Chinese New Year’s holiday. So, no chance to change hotels UNLESS I was willing to forfeit $487.47. Also, I should mention the ants that appeared on the kitchenette counter EVEN THOUGH THERE WAS NO FOOD on the counter, only my coffee cup that I washed and left on the counter to dry. THE ONLY GOOD THING ABOUT MY STAY AT THIS “DESPERATELY NEED OF A PROPER RENOVATION” HOTEL IS THE ONE MORNING FEMALE DESK AGENT THAT ASSISTED ME A COUPLE OF TIMES IN THE MORNING AND A HOUSEKEEPING LADY SO, I GAVE BOTH A GOOD LUCK RED ENVELOPE 🧧 AS IT WAS THE CHINESE NEW YEAR HOLIDAY. If I go back to Da Dong Hai, I will DEFINITELY LOOK for a better hotel for my usually desired 5-10 days Sun & Beach vacation.

There was no butler service at the villa, which I found quite baffling. Since we were only staying for one night, I didn't make a big fuss about it. Let's talk about the room facilities. They were really old and poorly maintained. The bathtub had stains that looked like they'd been there for ages. If that's the case, they should just lock it up and keep guests from seeing it; it really affects the overall impression. Now, about the pool. When we asked for it to be disinfected, the staff responded immediately and were very proactive and serious about their work, which is commendable. However, many of the tiles at the bottom of the pool were uneven, making it very easy to scrape your feet. The hotel really needs to inspect this. The pool water was also too shallow; even at its deepest point, it was only about a meter deep, not reaching the 1.2 meters advertised. This was quite disappointing for anyone who actually wanted to swim. Of course, it's fine if you just want to splash around a bit.

The room is spacious and the location is good, though the facilities are a bit old but still acceptable. However, the first thing I noticed upon entering was that the curtain was torn. Also, the inner room was so close to the building behind it that everything was clearly visible. The most serious issue, though, was the service. Were the hotel staff not trained or something??? The young girl at the front desk seemed completely clueless, only reciting standard lines. I told her I had breakfast booked, but she insisted I didn't, and couldn't answer any of my questions. What made me even angrier was that I couldn't cast my phone to the TV in the room. I called a male staff member to help, and he just told me it only supported phone mirroring. I explained that this would affect my phone usage, and he just said, 'That's just how it is.' He didn't even say anything polite and just stood in my room! It's hard to believe this is the service training for Ascott's high-end brand??? Thankfully, I still had the WeChat of a former hotel salesperson. I messaged her asking for a female staff member to come to my room. It turned out to be the same young girl from the front desk again. After fiddling with her own phone for a long time, she told me how to cast with an Android phone, which still ended up being phone mirroring. But I use an iPhone! I'm speechless!!!

The mangrove forest is highly recommended this season. 1. The hotel's public areas are amazing – it's an elegant and culturally rich hotel. From the moment you step out of the car, you feel like your vacation has begun. 2. Although the rooms aren't the newest, the low-rise ocean view is incredibly comfortable. 3. This season, the hotel's fruit trees are laden with fruit, including dragon fruit, coconuts, longans, star fruit, and wax apples (I missed the lychees and mangoes). It's a real treasure and perfect for kids to explore. 4. The beach is truly a vacation paradise. The sand in Yalong Bay is still very fine, and the hotel's beachfront location is excellent. The sea breeze keeps it from being too hot. The only downside was a stretch of white coral when entering the sea, which was quite rough on the feet, but the water was so blue, and surfing was a lot of fun. The loungers by the shore are also very comfortable; you can enjoy coconut water or a drink while listening to the sea.

The hotel's location is superb! The lobby is just across the street from Coconut Dream Corridor, making it incredibly convenient for walks and watching the sunset. We are from the UK, and I can confidently say that this hotel will meet and exceed your expectations and standards. Every single day here has been wonderful. The housekeeping staff were amazing — every morning they greeted us with smiles and made us feel welcome. On our last day they left a beautiful bowl of fruit in the room which honestly put a smile on my face and was such a thoughtful touch. The front desk staff were incredibly responsive and helpful. Any time we had a question or request, they replied immediately and were always accommodating and happy to help. I have stayed in hotels across the UK and the West, and I can honestly say this is some of the best service I have ever experienced. The bubble bath and bathtub were amazing and gave me a wonderful view of the city every day. The room was spotless, sparkling clean, and always maintained perfectly — just like the first day we arrived. Breakfast was wonderful and delicious every morning. I genuinely have no criticism at all. My stay at the Sheraton Sanya Haitang Bay was very satisfying. The overall facilities, environment, and service all met international five-star standards. Although the hotel is older, it doesn't detract from its quality as a resort hotel. The front desk staff were helpful and patient during check-in. I want to give a special shout-out to our butler, Tudou. Every morning and evening during our stay, he would proactively greet us. He also showed great care for our experience, asking if we needed any room supplies replenished and about our preferred cleaning times. I've stayed at many international five-star hotels, and I truly commend Butler Tudou; his service awareness is truly international five-star standard. The hotel offers many free children's activities, including pet feeding, a children's zip-line challenge, a park train, and children's DIY crafts.

I booked this hotel because I heard Jay Chou stayed here before. At first, I was a little worried it might not be great, but it turns out Autograph Collection is really good! 👍🏻 Our butler, Anna, was a lovely lady and super responsive to all our requests. She replied instantly, and even contacted me the day before check-in. The breakfast was also excellent, very generous with both Chinese and Western options. We stayed for two days during a typhoon, and even being stuck in the hotel wasn't boring. The pool was very clean, though it was closed one day because of the typhoon, but reopened once it passed. On check-in day, we were informed about the typhoon and they had already moved the balcony chairs inside, which was very thoughtful. After checking in, I noticed they had already taken some small typhoon-prevention measures on the balcony! We even received a souvenir when we checked out. I can only say Autograph Collection is fantastic, and I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍🏻

I've never written a review before, so this is my first time writing one for St. Regis (completely unprompted). When we were in Zhuhai, we also stayed at St. Regis with the kids. It's right across from Macau with a great view, so we decided to stay at St. Regis Sanya this time too. Before coming, I saw a lot of negative posts on Xiaohongshu, so we were a bit nervous checking in. Upon arrival, the concierge smoothly took our luggage and directed us to check-in, assuring us our bags would be brought to our room. After a smooth check-in, our butler, Seven, immediately met us at the front desk. Learning we hadn't had lunch, he promptly took us to the Chinese restaurant. He didn't just walk us there; he introduced things along the way. His service awareness was much better than at the Zhuhai St. Regis. The staff at the Chinese restaurant were also very enthusiastic. The food wasn't as bad as some online reviews claimed; I thought it was quite good (or maybe we were just too hungry? 😅😅). (They even gave us a little bear bun for checking in, which my daughter loved!) After lunch, Butler Seven met us at the restaurant and took us back to our room. Our luggage was already there. Since we booked a pool room, it was already equipped with arm floats for the kids and sand toys, which was very thoughtful. The welcome fruit probably wasn't arranged on time due to a large number of guests. After messaging the butler on WeChat, it was delivered immediately (less than a minute) — the kids absolutely loved the room's pool and wanted to swim all the time. Dinner was moved to the Banqueting Seafood Restaurant due to heavy rain. The food was good, but service was slow, probably because there were so many people. In the end, the staff proactively offered a large plate of fruit to apologize. Overall, I'd give the service a high score. Of course, every hotel has its imperfections, but you really have to experience it yourself.

My second stop in Sanya this year was the Mandarin Oriental. I booked an Ocean View room. I arrived at the hotel around 1 PM and wanted a room on the sixth floor, but since it wasn't ready yet, we went to the recreation area for the kids to play for a bit. The room cleaning took a while, but they quickly offered a solution: we could rest in a temporary room and switch to our assigned room once it was prepared. The front desk lady even gave me some facial mask samples. The staff's response time was quite fast, which I really appreciate! Especially Jessica. The wait was worth it; the view was truly amazing. After checking in, I wanted to take photos in the hotel's public areas, but several popular spots had queues, which was a bit… hmmm. The breakfast lobster wontons, durian soufflé, and wagyu hot and sour noodles were all fantastic. The overall quality was good, and since we went around 9 AM, there was no queue. We relied on the shuttle bus for transportation. Sometimes during peak hours, when our requested car hadn't arrived yet, passing shuttles would still greet us and ask if we needed a ride, which was a great experience! One evening, the air conditioning wasn't cooling. After the staff inspected it, they reported the issue and immediately offered a room upgrade as a solution. We repacked our luggage and moved rooms. On the second night, we were upgraded to a sea view suite, which was fantastic! 👍👍👍 The snorkeling was also a good experience. My child is quite young and was a bit hesitant to go into the water, but the staff patiently guided them. 👍 The toiletries were of good quality. When checking out, the staff proactively gave us a necklace and a room keycard, which was a nice touch. Overall, the experience was great and it's perfect for a relaxing holiday.

Haitang Bay Mangrove Tree Resort was a perfect experience! The resort grounds were stunning, with coconut groves and ocean views creating an incredible atmosphere. There were multiple swimming pools and ocean-view rooms, all well-equipped and exquisitely designed for a truly relaxing environment. We took a helicopter tour from the hotel, and the aerial views of the entire coastline were breathtaking and made for amazing photos. We also booked a professional photoshoot, and the photographer was excellent at finding the best angles. We got some fantastic, atmospheric shots by the beach and around the main building. A special thanks to our butler, Ella, who was incredibly attentive and thoughtful throughout our stay. She was always quick to respond to our needs and organized our itinerary perfectly. Her caring service made our vacation even more enjoyable and comfortable. We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we come back to Sanya!

I had honestly been quite disappointed with luxury hotels in Sanya until I came across the Rosewood. I won't go into the design, facilities, or public areas here, as you can easily find all that information online. What I really want to talk about today is the service. From the moment I arrived, and throughout my numerous excursions and returns, whether by car or on foot, every concierge I encountered greeted me with a genuine smile and a warm welcome. Before my car even pulled into the drop-off area, they were already there, ready to open the door for me. From the ground floor to the 14th floor, and up to the front desk, I was guided every step of the way by colleagues who were enthusiastic and informative. I know it's a busy summer, and I can only imagine the hard work involved, but everyone managed to hide any signs of fatigue. You are truly professional. Breakfast staff, bartenders, and poolside colleagues were all incredibly observant. A glance or a raised hand, and they seemed to instantly know what guests needed. That’s true skill. Some might think this is standard for a luxury hotel, but as we all know, many brands have been cutting back in recent years, both on amenities and service. Basic service might still be there, but truly warm and personalized service is becoming rare. Warm service deserves to be recognized. A special thank you to Nancy, the duty manager on the afternoon of July 7th (apologies for not getting your full name at the time), and Eda from Guest Relations. 新興花園酒店：二十年老牌酒店的煥新驚喜，吉陽區商圈旁的温馨休憩地這次來三亞吉陽區出差，偶然選擇了位於河東路 451 號的新興花園酒店，本是抱着 “老牌酒店圖個便利” 的心態入住，卻意外收穫了滿滿的驚喜。從踏入酒店到辦理入住，再到推開 12 樓温馨浪漫大床房的房門，每一個細節都讓這場短暫的住宿體驗變得格外愉悦，忍不住想把這份好感分享給更多計劃來三亞旅行或出差的朋友。先説説酒店的位置，簡直是 “寶藏級” 便利。它緊鄰青春頌商圈，步行過去不過 5 分鐘的路程，這對於像我這樣既需要高效處理工作，又想在閑暇時逛逛商場、嚐嚐當地美食的人來説，實在太友好了。白天忙完工作，晚上下樓就能在商圈裡找到各類特色餐廳，從海南本地的清補涼、文昌雞，到川湘風味、西式簡餐，選擇豐富多樣；飯後還能在商場裏的超市買點水果、零食，或是在沿街的小店逛逛，完全不用為 “吃飯購物要跑遠路” 發愁。而且，從酒店出發去三亞的其他景點也很方便，門口就有公交站點，打車也容易，地理位置的優勢直接拉滿了入住的幸福感。更讓我意外的是，這家有着 20 年歷史的老牌酒店，竟然在兩個月前完成了全面翻修。原本以為 “二十年老店” 可能會帶着些歲月的陳舊感，比如牆面泛黃、設施老化之類的問題，但實際體驗卻完全相反 —— 整個酒店都透着一股 “嶄新的活力”。尤其是我入住的 12 樓温馨浪漫大床房，一進門就被撲面而來的 “新鮮感” 打動。房間裏的裝修風格簡約又不失温馨，淺色系的牆面搭配柔軟的地毯，暖黃色的燈光灑下來，瞬間驅散了旅途的疲憊。最值得誇讚的是房間裏的細節，處處都能感受到翻修後的用心。床上用品是全新的，白色的床單被套平整乾淨，沒有一絲褶皺，蓋在身上柔軟舒適，彷彿在家裡一樣安心；枕頭的高度也剛剛好，無論是側睡還是仰睡，都能很好地支撐頸部，一夜下來睡得格外香甜。廁所更是讓人眼前一亮，瓷磚、洗手枱、馬桶都是新換的，整個空間乾淨明亮，沒有一點異味。熱水供應特別及時，打開水龍頭很快就能出熱水，水流穩定，洗澡時特別舒服；洗漱台上還貼心地準備了齊全的洗漱用品，從牙刷、牙膏到洗髮水、沐浴露，都是品質不錯的品牌，使用起來很放心。 12 樓的樓層也選得特別好，既避免了低樓層可能存在的噪音問題，又不會因為樓層太高而等待電梯太久。站在房間的窗户邊向外眺望，還能看到遠處的街景，白天能看到陽光灑在街道上的熱鬧景象，晚上則能欣賞到霓虹燈閃爍的夜景，視野開闊，心情也跟着變得舒暢起來。總的來説，這次在新興花園酒店的入住體驗遠超預期。二十年的品牌沉澱讓它有着成熟的服務體系，而兩個月前的全新翻修又讓它煥發出了新的活力，便利的地理位置、温馨舒適的房間，每一個優點都讓人印象深刻。如果以後再來三亞吉陽區，我一定會再次選擇這裏，也會把它推薦給身邊有需要的朋友，相信它不會讓每一個選擇它的人失望。

Seriously amazing! I didn't expect it to be this good before checking in. They have a regular pool and a 'cloud pool' on the third floor with stunning ocean views, plus mountains nearby. The hotel is surrounded by mountains on one side, a lake on another, and the sea on yet another. But the best part is the incredible service! On the first day, I added the butler on WeChat, and every day there were free chilled Cokes in the mini-fridge in the room. The bathroom had a bathtub, and the air conditioning was super efficient. On my last day, they even gave me a delicious small cake. The hotel also has its own private beach. 🏖️ Anyway, it was awesome! Our butler, Duoduo, was incredibly thoughtful; she sent us all the kid-friendly activities via WeChat in advance and even helped us with a late check-out. Hotel was located in a convenient area, we could walk to the beach and didi to malls and other places were quite affordable. The hotel is quite old so it’s abit run down. Mattress is very hard. Cleanliness of the room is not very good too, we saw a cockroach in our bathroom on the first day … and there are stains on the tables / bathroom area. The staff were nice and friendly though. Facilities wise we only used the gym which was very small old and equipment was faulty. But the staff did say we can go to the opposite hotel for a better gym. Overall I would say location is the best aspect of this hotel.

When we got there, the scanner had broken, and reception wanted to keep our passports. However, they were very understanding when we said we wanted to keep them with us. We felt that the attitude of the porter was very bad, we got there late, but the young man seemed impatient. The rest of the staff were very polite. The room was large, with a good view of the ocean. The bathtub plug was broken, and water drained from the bathtub even though the plug was secured. The sink plug was stuck, and water couldn't drain. Both my room and my friend's room had a bad odour, despite having scent diffusers. Other than the odour, her room with a view of the pool had no other issues. We felt the cleanliness was good, although there was a drain fly in my room. The rooms were stocked with water, coffee and tea. The pool area is lovely, and the grounds are beautiful and well-kept. There is a gate to the beach, but myself and another guest couldn't figure out how to open it, and the other guest had to ask a staff member to show her how to open the gate. I recommend making it easier for guests to access the beach.

We were upgraded to a suite, which was lovely. The afternoon tea and breakfast were also great. The hotel staff at the front desk even gave carrots to the deer, which was a nice touch. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a garden and a pool. There are even flowers planted by students from the Sino-Swiss school, which adds a wonderful cultural touch. Parking was ample, and the hotel elevators were fast and cool. The bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak. For the package price, this place is truly excellent – those who stay here will understand!
