✈️ 马来西亚人去海南岛方便吗？
老实说，这一 part 我原本最担心，结果实际去了一趟之后，我会讲一句：比我想象中简单很多。
首先是✈️航班，从吉隆坡直飞海南岛（通常是三亚或海口）其实蛮多选择的，飞行时间大概 3 到 4 个小时左右，比你飞去日本、韩国轻松很多。对我们来说，很像飞去泰国或越南那种感觉，完全不会累到怀疑人生 😂
然后是🛂入境这块，现在去海南岛对马来西亚人很友好（很多时候是免签或手续很简单，出发前查一下最新政策就好）。我当时过关也蛮顺的，没有那种很复杂或卡很久的情况，这点真的加分。
再来是🗣️语言，这个完全不用担心。海南岛基本上都是华人，如果你会一点中文，沟通是完全没问题的；就算英文，其实在酒店或旅游区也都 OK。对比去一些完全语言不通的国家，这里真的轻松很多。

如果你可以轻松去泰国、越南，那海南岛对你来说基本也是同一个难度，甚至更简单一点。

🏝️ 海南岛有什么好玩？（真实体验）
如果你问我海南岛“是不是很多景点要跑”，我的答案是：不算爆炸多，但每一个都很有代表性，而且风格很不一样。 重点是你不用赶行程，慢慢玩反而更舒服。
🌊 蜈支洲岛｜浮潜 + 玻璃海体验
这个基本是很多人来海南一定会去的地方。我自己觉得最加分的是海水颜色，真的是那种渐层蓝，天气好的时候很像滤镜开到最大😆
可以玩浮潜、水上活动，也可以不玩项目，就单纯坐在海边看海，其实已经很舒服了。
🏖️ 亚龙湾｜纯看海放空天花板
亚龙湾比较适合“什么都不想做”的那种度假状态。沙滩很长很干净，海边酒店也很多。
我那天基本就是：走去海边 → 坐一下 → 回酒店泳池 → 再回海边，循环一整天。
👉 简单讲就是：来这里不用安排太多，发呆就是重点。
🛕 南山寺｜安静又有文化感的祈福地
如果你一直在海边，其实可以来南山寺换个节奏。这里整体氛围很安静，有很大的观音像，很多人会来祈福或走一走。
🍃 跟海边那种“放松感”不一样，这里是比较“静下来”的感觉。
🎢 亚特兰蒂斯水世界｜刺激又好玩的水上乐园
这个就比较偏玩乐型了，很适合年轻人或家庭。里面有很多滑水道、水上设施，还有一些比较刺激的项目。
🏄 如果你觉得一直看海有点单调，这里可以直接切换成“玩疯模式”。

我很推荐大家去到海南岛一定要选海景酒店来住！因为像我那时一进房间最明显的感觉就是：窗外直接看到海 + 有阳台 + 早上阳光打进来真的很舒服。那一刻真的会有在充电的感觉，而且这种感觉不是那种城市酒店可以给到的🥰。
至于区域的话，我推荐住海棠湾或亚龙湾，因为那里很多酒店是直接靠海的，有私人沙滩或无边泳池。晚上坐在泳池边看海风吹，其实真的有马尔代夫的感觉，尤其是天气好的时候🌤️ 不过也要讲实话一点⚠️ 这里不是马尔代夫那种“岛上只有酒店+完全隔绝”的感觉。海南岛还是有城市感的，有车、有商场、有很多人，所以它的感觉更像是：“海岛度假 + 方便生活”混合型😎
但我觉得重点来了💡
它赢的地方是“性价比”。同样海景房，在马尔代夫可能是完全不同价位，但在海南岛，你是有机会用比较合理的价格住到不错的海景酒店。

Fantastic hotel! I have to admit the room was a bit small and the decor a little dated, but the location is excellent, and it offers incredible value for money. It's so convenient for the beach! And the service was truly exceptional – that professional, old-school hotel service. Whenever we had a problem, the front desk staff always considered things from a customer's perspective and actively helped resolve them. We received complimentary welcome fruit, the breakfast was extensive, and the airport drop-off service was very convenient. This time, we had noisy neighbors, and the hotel promptly helped us change rooms and even offered a complimentary afternoon tea. Every front desk staff member sincerely told guests to contact them anytime with any issues. We even received complimentary coconut water when we left. We brought our child to this hotel at the tail end of summer vacation, initially just looking for a convenient stopover, but we were pleasantly surprised! It offered incredible value for money and perfectly met my expectations for a 'one-stop kid-friendly getaway.' I definitely give it a big five-star rating and highly recommend it to everyone!

The 'Daily Fun Activity Schedule' in the first picture really caught my eye! From 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM, Monday to Sunday, the schedule was even busier than an adult's work week! My child had an absolute blast, with every day clearly planned out. Besides regular activities like drawing, DIY crafts, and sandcastle building, we also participated in 'beach treasure hunts' and magic balloon shows. When the afternoon sun was too strong, we took the kids to the indoor play area. The Peppa Pig-themed play zone was absolutely perfect for my child's taste! There was also a huge ball pit and a wood pellet pit (clean and safe). My child bounced around in there all afternoon, freeing up this mom's hands! In the evening, the swimming pool even had a dreamy bubble show, and my child, though soaking wet, couldn't stop smiling.
🏊♂️ **[Abundant Facilities, Excellent Sea View]**
The hotel's infinity pool with its sea view was absolutely stunning! The water was very clear, and being right next to the ocean, watching the kids play while adults enjoyed the sea breeze on the shore truly maximized the vacation vibe. Both the indoor and outdoor facilities were very new and extensive, with great attention to detail (for example, there were signs to remove shoes before entering the play area, and all collision corners were padded).
I must praise the dinner buffet! The ingredients were incredibly diverse and super fresh! The seafood section had chilled clams, large shrimp, various sea fish, and freshly carved roasted meat and sausages. Seeing the fresh seafood neatly displayed on ice made me feel very confident about eating it. The chefs refilled dishes quickly, and there were many kid-friendly cooked dishes and desserts. Our whole family ate very satisfyingly.
All the staff members were very enthusiastic and helpful, especially the ladies in the kids' club, who were incredibly patient and played wonderfully with the children.
Overall, whether it was the variety of entertainment facilities, the quality of the food, or the overall value for money, this place exceeded expectations. Take advantage of the end of summer vacation and bring your 'little monsters' here – you definitely won't regret it! In mid-August, all the hotels in Sanya went crazy with price hikes. For example, Tianyu's prices tripled, making it feel completely unnecessary to book. Even very ordinary hotels at least doubled their rates. Amidst this wave of price gouging, only Grand Mercure quietly offered a low price of 500 RMB. And seeing room photos posted by others on TikTok, I thought it looked great, which made me immediately place an order. My flight was delayed, so I arrived at the hotel in the middle of the night. The young lady at the front desk upgraded me to a family suite, which was super spacious. It had two large beds, one of which was a 2.2-meter king-size bed with an extra-large duvet, so the kids could roll around as much as they wanted without a problem. The complimentary seafood dinner was delicious, and the creamy clams were incredibly tasty. The staff were all very enthusiastic; if you stood in the lobby for a moment, a staff member would immediately come up with a smile and ask if you needed help, which was very heartwarming. There's a children's water slide, and both big and small kids had a great time playing. There's a bubble party at 4 PM. It's a quick five-minute walk to Yalong Bay if you're fast, a bit slower with kids. Downstairs is Baihua Valley, with KFC, Pizza Hut, Heytea, and other stores. The Ah T milk tea near the beach is also very good, but the coconuts and fruits from the street vendors there weren't tasty.Dari€ 40

The hotel's location in Xiaodonghai is great. While it's an older property, the facilities are well-maintained, and the rooms exceeded my expectations. It offers good value for money. During holidays, getting to the city center can be slow due to traffic from Luhuitou. I hope the hotel improves its pool management; it's currently subpar. People were in the pool without swim caps and even wearing shoes, which makes you wonder about the water quality. On the plus side, access to the beach is very convenient and close, perfect for families with children. However, Xiaodonghai has many underwater rocks, making it a bit uncomfortable to swim from the shore. The concierge service was excellent – very friendly and proactive in helping with luggage. This hotel was originally just a one-night stopover, but the overall facilities, lounge, and room type turned out to be a pleasant surprise. In China, you probably won't find a JW Marriott at this price again.
The hotel is located on a rocky beach in Dadonghai, without sand, but offering a different experience: mudflats foraging and swimming in the sea (there's a recessed, shallow area on the rocky beach in front of the hotel that's safer at low tide). The overall sea view isn't bad at all; one side offers a view of the curved Dadonghai beach, while the other faces the lighthouse.
The hotel facilities are quite comprehensive, with a long family pool and a shallow children's pool. Armbands and full-body swimming life jackets are provided free of charge, and there are even cylindrical holders for shoes. There are numerous lifeguards, strategically placed so that every blind spot of one lifeguard is covered by another. This is completely different from the setup at other five-star hotels in Sanya, and the pool closes at 10 PM, which received unanimous praise from my family. The outdoor open-air children's playground is similar; for younger children, the playground staff will even follow behind to supervise, truly demonstrating JW's high standards.
We booked an executive sea-view room in the East Wing, a room type that directly faces the sunrise over Rabbit Tail Ridge. Plus, it has a huge balcony, instantly eliminating any feeling of a small room.
Since we only stayed for one day, we couldn't experience many of the dining options. However, seeing the hotel selling egg pancakes for 15 RMB and refreshing Qingshubiang for 20 RMB, I immediately felt that the prices were accessible to the general public. The executive lounge's food could only be described as average Marriott quality (I suspect this might be due to the hotel's price point), but it's one of the few resort hotels that even has an executive lounge. The breakfast experience was excellent, with stewed soups, JW noodles, numerous egg preparations, fermented grain vinegar, sour noodles, Hou'an noodles, and various fresh juices. Among the three hotels we stayed at in Sanya, this was the lowest-priced hotel, yet it had the highest breakfast standards.
The service was excellent overall. Whether it was the lounge attendant helping us with a last-minute room change (and getting us a room with a large balcony), or the front desk staff running out to find the mini-train because my child wanted to ride it when it was almost closing time, or the proactive luggage service and reminders from our butler Una, it all truly met the high standards of a luxury five-star hotel!
Some suggestions:
1. The open space on the large balcony could really benefit from some decorations and lounge chairs; I think it would enhance the resort feel.
2. Stronger signage is needed from the East Wing to the West Wing breakfast area. It's quite hard to find since you have to take an elevator.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay. Aside from the lack of a sandy beach, this is a high-standard, high-value-for-money resort hotel!Dari€ 67

I stayed here back in 2017 and thought it was great then, with direct sea views and easy access to nearby restaurants. The hotel's pool isn't huge, but it's perfectly adequate, and the staff were constantly skimming leaves out of it. Lying by the pool was very relaxing, quiet and leisurely. This time, I booked a brand new room type, which was newly renovated and also very good overall. The night market snacks over the two days were also delicious. A hotel with exceptional service, and I really want to highlight the service.
A huge thank you to Lucia, our hotel butler, for her constant help throughout our stay. From the moment we checked in, Lucia was incredibly welcoming and enthusiastic. When we checked out, I realized I'd left my power bank in the room, and Lucia promptly arranged for a delivery service to bring it back. Having Lucia as our butler made this trip incredibly pleasant. She's the most attentive butler I've encountered in all my visits to Sanya.
**Location:** The hotel is just across the road from Sanya Bay's Coconut Palm Promenade, making beach access super convenient. It's also a quick 15-minute taxi ride from the airport.
**Room Facilities:** The rooms are clean and tidy. The hotel itself is quite large and has a very distinctive design style. My two children absolutely loved the big bathtub in the room. You can also see the ocean from the hotel balcony.
**Breakfast:** The buffet breakfast offers a wide variety of Chinese and Western options. As it's a family-friendly hotel, they also provide baby utensils. The restaurant is very spacious with two huge halls.
**Hotel Environment:** The hotel boasts a massive lawn, perfect for travel photography. We brought our two kids for a photoshoot, and each room comes with 5 complimentary retouched travel photos.
**Kids' Activities:** This hotel is ideal for families with children. There are several swimming pools, a small water park, and a huge indoor children's play area. The kids loved it so much they didn't want to leave!Dari€ 50

The hotel also offers free scheduled shuttle buses to the beach, which is very convenient. Within 800 meters of the hotel, you'll find the Yalong Bay Yatai Night Market Street and the Baihua Valley Commercial Street, making it easy to browse the night market and commercial area after dinner. It's a peaceful escape that doesn't lack convenience, truly an oasis of calm in the bustling Yalong Bay.
Overall, my stay was very enjoyable. The hotel's excellent location, beautiful natural environment, spacious and comfortable villa, and attentive service all left a deep impression on me. The weather was bad, so I stayed in the room the whole time and didn't get a chance to experience the pool. But this suite was truly excellent: clean, bright, and spacious. It had two separate bathrooms, and at night, the bedroom doors could be closed for privacy. Both rooms also had their own balconies. Although it's close to the airport and planes constantly flew overhead when on the balcony, you could barely hear any noise once the doors were closed.
The downside: The food at the executive lounge was a bit disappointing. There was a limited variety of hot dishes, and all the desserts were mousse-based, which were both heavy and not very tasty. Wouldn't some regular cakes have been better?Dari€ 52

Our butler, Mila, proactively asked about our room preferences two days in advance and even upgraded us to a high-floor room, which was clean and offered a good view. The complimentary gift was also very nice, and we were granted a late check-out without any催促 (hurry). The public areas are large, comfortable, and spacious. The pool is quite big and not crowded, and you can find shells on the beach. Overall, I was quite satisfied. The breakfast bread was good, though other options were pretty standard. There weren't many Chinese guests, mostly Russian tourists. The hallway had a slight odor, and the air conditioner fuse blew at one point, but it was fixed quickly. Kids' amenities and the bathtub liner were delivered promptly. The elevators were often empty, making for a comfortable ride. Pullman is definitely worth revisiting, and a big shout-out to our butler. There aren't many activities within the hotel itself, but it's convenient to get to nearby attractions like Coconut Dream Corridor or Joy City; a taxi ride isn't far or expensive. Watching the sunset at Luhuitou Park or even on the hotel's beach is fantastic. Although the butler urged me to leave a good review, I ended up deleting her. We even found a rocky beach nearby where my kids had a blast catching lots of little crabs. The surrounding area has a shopping district, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient. The hotel service was also very thoughtful; when I had a backache, the housekeeper helped me flip the mattress, which was perfect for someone like me who can't sleep on soft beds. The pool was clean and clear, the beach was uncrowded, and there were plenty of towels. Breakfast offered a wide variety of Western and Chinese options. At the tail end of summer, I spontaneously decided to take my child on a four-flight trip to Sanya. Our butler, Vivian, called me in advance to add me on WeChat, informing me about hotel matters. She was thoughtful and enthusiastic, and even arranged a room according to my needs. Our unexpected delight by the pool, however, was thanks to lifeguard Master Peng Zhaohui. That afternoon, the pool was nearly empty, and my friend and I, both complete 'landlubbers,' were just splashing around in the shallow end. Master Peng diligently guided us, helping us get started. The most touching part was that he showed no impatience despite our absolute beginner status; instead, he encouraged us repeatedly. After an hour, we could already float on our own, experiencing the relaxation of swimming. In the evenings, there were a few special alcoholic cocktails, or I could go for a swim in the pool.
- The room decor wasn't too new or old, and I particularly liked the small balcony outside where I could lie down and stargaze at night.
- The executive lounge didn't have a huge variety of food, but it definitely met basic needs. The evening cocktails were my main focus.
- The main pool was great, with plenty of sun loungers nearby. After swimming, I could get out and lie down, and an entire afternoon would just fly by.
- It seems you can swim at Xiaodonghai; I saw many Russians swimming at the hotel beach (P.S. there were so many Russians!). However, there didn't seem to be any sun loungers on the beach.
- The breakfast variety was also quite extensive, and there was enough seating, so no need to queue it seemed.

The location is good as well, with the beach only around a 5-minute walk away. However, Donghai Beach was closed during my visit, so I ended up going to other nearby beaches instead.
There are a few areas where the hotel could improve. It felt very geared towards Russian tourists, and at times it seemed like they were prioritised more than others (I travelled from the UK). Also, while the pool itself was lovely, the lifeguards were not very friendly and were often sitting around smoking or on their phones, which didn’t give the best impression.
The hotel is also missing a great opportunity with the bar area in the middle of the pool, which wasn’t being used at all. It would be a perfect spot to serve drinks and cocktails and really elevate the experience.

The location is superb. Coral Bay is beautiful on a sunny day. The entire beach is covered in coral, which my child loved collecting. You can go tide pooling at low tide and snorkeling at high tide.
Initially, an older hotel like this, which typically wouldn't offer great value for money, wasn't on my radar. But my husband wanted to stay, and I was worried that the basic rooms might be old and not well-maintained. Then I saw a deal for an entry-level two-bedroom villa that seemed quite reasonable, so I booked it.
Before arrival, the butler contacted me to ask about any requests. I mentioned I liked sea views and a good location, and that it was my child's birthday, so a small decoration would be nice. They upgraded us directly to the top-tier Coral Bay full sea view villa! My superficial self found it hard to be objective after that, haha.
Breakfast was decent. It closes at 11 AM, and even arriving at 10:30 AM, there was still a short queue – this was probably the only minor drawback.

The Mangrove Tree Resort in Haitang Bay has long been my unwavering vacation retreat, perfectly aligning with all my aspirations for a coastal getaway. Year after year, I return with a longing heart.
I’ve always been captivated by the 180° Deluxe Seaview Room, with its expansive balcony directly facing the vast South China Sea. Leaning on the railing, I take in the boundless blue sea and sky, watching the clouds drift and the tides ebb and flow. In past stays, I did leave some minor suggestions for improvement. Returning this time, I was delighted to see the hotel has diligently iterated and enhanced its services, with numerous details improved, showcasing a sincere commitment to guest satisfaction. The only minor imperfections this stay were the weak air conditioning in the room and a malfunctioning electric screen. I hope the housekeeping and engineering departments can strengthen their coordinated inspections and daily equipment maintenance to further refine the living experience.
This year’s entire trip was exceptionally memorable, and I extend my heartfelt thanks to our butler, 'Juzi Juzi Juzi'. Her service was meticulous and attentive, with highly efficient and timely responses. Every request was addressed. Without me even having to ask, she proactively inquired about my itinerary and daily needs, promptly arranging room cleaning, replenishing beverages, and even thoughtfully providing fruit plates and desserts. When my relatives and friends later checked into the same type of seaview room, they were also handled by the butler throughout their stay. She arranged high-floor rooms with large balconies offering sea views and even provided upgrades. Each room was thoughtfully prepared with fruit plates and desserts – comprehensive and impeccable service. This has been the most outstanding butler service I've experienced in my many years of staying at the Mangrove Tree Resort. I sincerely hope the hotel can cultivate more such excellent service staff.
I also want to thank the Trip.com butler who helped me communicate and implement my special check-in requests in advance. Upon arrival, I didn't have to wait in line, and the coveted sea-view room had already been perfectly reserved for me. I used the VIP channel for check-in, and the entire process was calm and smooth. My initial room was upgraded to the 15th floor, and later, due to the air conditioning issue, the butler thoughtfully coordinated a move to the executive floor on the 23rd floor. The service provided by 'Juzi Juzi Juzi' this year was truly flawless.
As night falls, fireworks bloom in the sky, with buildings and the heavens reflecting each other, creating a spectacular and dazzling scene. Haitang Bay boasts a cluster of high-end hotels, but in my heart, the Mangrove Tree Resort will always hold an irreplaceable position. Strolling through the hotel gardens, gazing at the vast ocean, enjoying delicious food with the sea breeze; at night, sitting alone by the sea, listening to the rhythmic waves, I fully indulge in the relaxation and tranquility of a vacation.

Our stay at Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay was absolutely perfect. Switched from InterContinental to Rosewood. During check-in, I felt that the details of my booked package weren't explained or confirmed thoroughly enough. The room upgrade mentioned in the package was only offered after I brought it up, and the front desk had to call a colleague to confirm it. My first impression of the room was that it felt a bit cramped, although the design had a good flow, nicely separating the bedroom and bathroom areas! The toiletries were good, I liked the scent. The complimentary fruit and coconut were definitely better than the previous hotel. The snacks in the minibar were delicious, so much so that I immediately ordered a box of the same ones to take home as gifts! Breakfast, needless to say, was lovely and refined. My child loved the wontons, having a bowl every morning. I personally preferred the pastries – the egg tarts, croissants, and puff pastry were exceptional, and the avocado at the salad bar was of excellent quality! I tried the tennis lesson, which was great; I'm planning to learn tennis now. The morning yoga class, lying outdoors with a breeze, was incredibly comfortable! And the infinity pool during the holiday, even better! The hotel's beach is also beautiful; I collected a lot of shells. The beach bar is perfect for watching the sunset! This time I came to Sanya Jiyang District for a business trip. I accidentally chose the Xinxing Garden Hotel at 451 Hedong Road. I stayed in the mentality of ”convenient old hotel”, but I accidentally got a full surprise. From stepping into the hotel to checking in, to pushing the door of the warm and romantic big bed room on the 12th floor, every detail makes this short stay experience particularly pleasant, and I can't help but want to share this good feeling with more friends who plan to travel or travel to Sanya.
Let me talk about the location of the hotel, it is simply “treasure-level” convenience. It is close to the youth song business district and only a 5-minute walk away. It is too friendly for people like me who need to deal with work efficiently and want to go shopping and taste local food in their leisure time. After busy work during the day, you can find various specialty restaurants in the business district at night, from Hainan's local Qingbuliang, Wenchang chicken, to Sichuan-Xiang flavor, Western-style simple meals, rich and varied choices; After dinner, you can buy some fruit, snacks in the supermarket in the mall, or stroll around the small shops along the street, so you don’t have to worry about “eat and shop far away.” Moreover, it is very convenient to go to other attractions in Sanya from the hotel. There is a bus stop at the door. It is also easy to take a taxi. The advantages of the location directly fill the happiness of staying.
What surprised me was that this 20-year-old hotel was completely renovated two months ago. I thought that the “20-year old store” might have some old feelings, such as yellowing of the walls and aging of the facilities, but the actual experience is completely the opposite the whole hotel has a “new vitality.” Especially the warm and romantic big bed room on the 12th floor I stayed in was moved by the ”freshness” as soon as I entered the door. The decoration style in the room is simple and warm. The light-colored wall is matched with soft carpets. The warm yellow lights are sprinkled down, and the fatigue of the journey is instantly dispersed.
The most praiseworthy thing is the details of the room, and you can feel the intentions after renovation everywhere. The bedding is brand new, the white sheets are flat and clean, there is no trace of wrinkles, and the cover is soft and comfortable, as if at home; The height of the pillow is just right. Whether it is side sleep or back sleep, it can support the neck well. It is especially sweet to sleep overnight. The toilet is even brighter. The tiles, sinks, and toilets are all new. The whole space is clean and bright, and there is no smell. The hot water supply is particularly timely. The faucet can quickly produce hot water. The water flow is stable and it is particularly comfortable when taking a bath. The washstand also carefully prepared a complete set of toiletries, from toothbrushes, toothpaste to shampoo and shower gel, all of which are of good quality brands. It is very safe to use.
The floors on the 12th floor are also selected very well, avoiding the noise problems that may exist on the lower floors, and not waiting too long for the elevator because the floor is too high. Standing by the window of the room, looking out, you can also see the street view in the distance, you can see the lively scene of the sun on the street during the day, and you can enjoy the night view of the neon lights at night, the view is wide, and the mood is also comfortable.
Overall, this stay at Xinxing Garden Hotel far exceeded expectations. We liked staying with you a lot. The size of the room was big enough for our family, so much space! Cleaning is good. We had almost everything we needed.
Kids animation is great! My daughters were busy all day long going from one playground to another.
We liked the pools, food and the design.
I would add spoons, forks, knives and some plates in the rooms. No shower at the beach was a problem. And difficulty to find a sunbed. Staying at the beach under the sun without having a sunbed and an umbrella is not nice for children. I would add more sunbeds for sure!

Lucas's service was absolutely amazing! The game consoles in the hotel were a lot of fun. I highly recommend staying here. The sea view offers incredible value for money. Hotel was located in a convenient area, we could walk to the beach and didi to malls and other places were quite affordable.
The hotel is quite old so it’s abit run down. Mattress is very hard. Cleanliness of the room is not very good too, we saw a cockroach in our bathroom on the first day … and there are stains on the tables / bathroom area.
The staff were nice and friendly though. Facilities wise we only used the gym which was very small old and equipment was faulty. But the staff did say we can go to the opposite hotel for a better gym. Overall I would say location is the best aspect of this hotel.Dari€ 22
