Lobby was spacious and staff were friendly. They checked in with us on our itinerary to Zhangjiajie National Forest Park and were keen in lending a helping hand when needed. The hotel feels a like a nice resort compared to a hotel, and food was readily available nearby. Wulingyuan gate was around 15-20 mins walk or a 5 minutes drive. Breakfast had a vast selection of Chinese & Western food, great if u are not accustomed to the Chinese taste bud. Overall, one of the better hotels I’ve stayed in out of major cities and would def be back if I’m back at Zhangjiajie.

This guesthouse boasts absolutely stunning views and a beautiful, serene, and comfortable environment – truly on par with high-end luxury lodges abroad, but without the exorbitant price tag. The restaurant is also fantastic; I ate there for three days straight because the food was so good I didn't want to eat anywhere else. What really sets them apart, though, is their service. It's not the rigid, formal service you find at a five-star hotel; instead, it's incredibly thoughtful and attentive, always putting the guest's needs first. For example, if we ordered too much food, the restaurant would even proactively help us figure out how to save it for our next meal. Every other service detail was just as impressive – any request was met with a helpful response. It was such a comfortable and personalized experience. Getting to the West Gate of the Forest Park from here is also very convenient, as the guesthouse offers pick-up and drop-off services. They also provide incredibly detailed and professional advice based on your itinerary, making it completely stress-free for first-time visitors. I will definitely be back!

The hotel’s location is good and right next to the charming show theater which I highly recommend. The breakfast has lots of options with live cooking stations but not very friendly to vegetarian or if you prefer no pork/beef like me. The staff are friendly and try their best to help, a huge thank you to Tom Dong at the reception for the amazing help and patience, he answered all my questions and was ready to assist. It was fun having a conversation as well and learning from him. The room is very spacious and comfortable as well, the outdoor pool however is basically a kids’ pool (not deep at all, small and always full of children -there is an indoor pool next to it at least but not interesting to use). Would recommend this hotel for sure for location and staff.

This means you don't have to rush in the morning to get up the mountain, which is especially convenient for those wanting to catch the 'Fox Fairy Show'. There are restaurants galore on every street nearby, even a snack street. For drinks, there's Chayan Yuese right below the hotel, and within 200 meters, you'll find Luckin Coffee, Mixue, and Shuyi Shaoxiancao. Tianmen Center, with its cinema, is not far off, so you can catch a movie in the evenings if you have time. The hotel is about a 15-minute drive from the Central Bus Station, making it easy to get to Wulingyuan Grand Canyon and Zhangjiajie West Station. Plus, being on a crossroads, it only takes a few minutes to hail a Didi. A pleasant 20-minute walk across the bridge will take you to Dayong Ancient City and the pedestrian street, and you can enjoy a relaxing stroll along the river in the evening.

Five-star perfect review! If you're coming to Zhangjiajie, this is definitely the hotel to choose, the experience was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! The location is exceptionally good, very close to all the major scenic spots, making sightseeing incredibly convenient. The hotel breakfast offers a rich variety of options, and the authentic Hunan rice noodles are absolutely delicious – a must-have every day. I especially want to commend the front desk staff; their service was warm, responsible, thoughtful, and meticulous. We were a large group and really didn't want to plan our own itinerary. The front desk staff proactively helped us plan our entire trip in advance, even thoughtfully assisting with ticket bookings, and specifically arranged a reliable tour guide for us. The guide professionally accompanied us throughout, showing us around all the core attractions in Zhangjiajie. We didn't have to worry about finding routes or making arrangements ourselves, making the entire trip relaxed and enjoyable. From beginning to end, we truly felt the hotel's incredibly attentive one-stop service, which resolved all the hassles of travel. I sincerely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

We had a great time at Purespace. Kevin was very kind and really helpful. He took time out of his day to guide us through the Park. He gave us the optimal routes based on our remaining time in zhanjiajie. He recommended us many attractions which were very entertaining. Kevin answered any questions we had very quickly. Rooms and hotel are very clean. Breakfast is good. The location is perfect because it’s in the middle and you can travel to different attractions easily. I’ve attached some pictures below of the scenic view from our hotel. I would recommend anyone visiting this area to stay at this hotel.

I brought my mom and daughter to Zhangjiajie and contacted the owner in advance to book tickets, which were very affordable. The owner personally gave us travel advice, carefully helped us plan our itinerary, provided pick-up and drop-off to and from the scenic area, and patiently explained everything. Even though we only stayed one night, the owner's enthusiasm made our trip to Zhangjiajie perfect and hassle-free. He's truly an amazing owner. The room was also charming and very clean, offering great value for money. Next time I come to Zhangjiajie, I'll definitely stay here again and recommend it to my friends!

This hotel has a great atmosphere, and even features a pool, though it's only open from 3 PM to 9 PM. The most stunning feature is the rooftop observation deck, offering panoramic views of Wulingyuan and the surrounding mountains. However, the rooms themselves leave a lot to be desired; the hotel is definitely in need of a renovation and interior updates. Some rooms face the pool, while others, like mine, just look out onto the staircase leading to the upper floors. The room appeared larger in the photos than it was in reality. The hotel breakfasts are decent; you can grab a bite from 7 AM to 9 AM before heading out for a hike in the mountains. The location isn't ideal for the East Gate, though, as you'll have to walk almost entirely through the town for 15-20 minutes or take a taxi. On the bright side, the hotel is surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants.

I had such a lovely stay here! It’s a shame that I only stayed for one night. I was able to check in early, which was great after an early train ride and was greeted by friendly staff and a welcome package of snacks, toiletries and homemade glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves! It was so thoughtful and kind of them. The location is perfect with the lower cable way station for Tianmen Mountain just a couple minutes walk away. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was perfectly clean and had everything I needed. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

If you want a quiet place with exceptional service, this is the place to stay. We spent 5 nights here. They provide personalised trip planning, discount ticket booking for all attractions in the Zhangjiajie area, and a free shuttle to the South gate entrance. The shuttle is free back and forth (up to 3km one way) for any reason - dinners near the gate, for example. The breakfast is served to you and was delicious, they also accommodated my vegetarian requests. This is a small hotel - but with a homestay or B&B vibe. A lot of care and detail has been put into the design of the entire facility. There is an elevator. There is a natural spring with a dipper in the lower level - excellent drinking water! We refilled our water bottles there several times. Our room had the forest view with a terrace. It was great to have the extra space to relax in. This comes up as a Didi location, so it was easy to schedule our rides to and from the airport and train station. We took a Didi back from the east gate one day - so crazy there and noisy in that area! If you like huge hotels and a party atmosphere, stay there. Otherwise, choose the Qiquan.

I traveled with my family and chose this hotel. The accommodation experience was absolutely amazing. I have to give it a five-star rating! The moment you step into the hotel, you will be infected by its elegant and grand atmosphere. When checking in, the staff was not only extremely efficient, but also patiently answered our various questions about nearby tours. Their attitude was as friendly as old friends who had not seen each other for a long time. The room is very warmly decorated, spacious and bright, with great lighting. As soon as you open the window, you can see the beautiful city view, and your mood will instantly improve. The bed was clean and comfortable, and even the pillows were at just the right height, allowing my family and I to have a good night's sleep. The bathroom is also very user-friendly, and they provide toiletries specifically for children, which is very thoughtful. The hotel's supporting facilities are also quite complete, and the children had a lot of fun. The equipment in the gym is new and diverse, meeting my daily exercise needs. The catering is even better. The breakfast is rich and varied, from local snacks to Western cakes, each one is delicious. The restaurant environment is also very elegant, the waiters are warm and polite, and the dining experience is excellent. This stay left us with a deep and wonderful impression, both in terms of service and facilities. Next time we travel, this hotel will definitely be our first choice, and we also recommend it to friends who are looking for high-quality accommodation!

Lovely hotel! The owners are super nice and friendly, and their cooking was delicious! The views are unbeatable and there are adorable kittens on the property as well. We got upgraded rooms since we went when it wasn’t too busy, and the room was beautiful. Only downside to being in the mountains is the bugs, but that’s kinda of hard to avoid given the climate and location. Also, since it’s up the mountain, it can be a little difficult for DiDi drivers to get to, but we had no problem (a trip from the train station was about 10-15 usd / 70-100 rmb). Overall would recommend (especially their food!).

We spent four days at this hotel and had an amazing experience. Located in the mountains, the hotel offers breathtaking views and a peaceful, cozy atmosphere. The room was modern, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. The owner was exceptionally friendly and helpful, assisting us in planning our trip to the Avatar Mountains. The breakfasts were excellent, and the owner offered to drive us to a lovely local cafe that served delicious and affordable dinners. The hotel is conveniently located near the South Gate of the Forest Park, and the owner kindly drove us there as well. Taxis to other attractions in the area are inexpensive and easy to find, making it convenient to explore the region. Overall, this is a fantastic place to stay. I highly recommend it to anyone planning to visit this area.

This hotel is super close to the Wulingyuan East Gate, just a 200-300 meter, less than 5-minute walk. I'd expected prices to skyrocket and the facilities to be subpar during the peak summer season, given its location in a tourist area. But to my pleasant surprise, it was the complete opposite on both counts! The room rate was just a little over 200 yuan, and the room itself was spacious with a comfortable mattress and excellent soundproofing. Plus, they even upgraded my room type for free! Breakfast is on the seventh floor in the Sunshine Restaurant, where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Wulingyuan East Gate while you eat. Highly, highly recommend!!!!!

I had an amazing time at Nvue Resort! It’s located very much in the nature and super close to the park entrance. The room was comfortable, stylish and I would also recommend to book a room with Mountain View. I had a bathtub on the balcony and that was amazing after a day of hiking in the mountains. The staff is always helpful, super cute, and I also recommend you to let them suggest routes for your travel. I booked everything through the hotel and got explained in detail what trails to walk. I also got to many spots outside of the touristy and crowded places and I really enjoyed it. Lastly, I cannolis recommend the food at the hotel. There was a variety of options and even for me as a vegetarian, I always found something delicious. Thanks a lot to the whole team!

It leads directly to the main gate of Dayong Ancient City. The street is very busy and there are many delicious foods. The sanitation of the hotel is also very good. This is a newly built hotel with excellent facilities. Parking is convenient, and the front desk staff are warm and friendly. We accidentally navigated to the cable car station instead of the hotel initially. Upon returning, the staff were even more welcoming and went out of their way to assist us. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and we had a view of the Lishui River, the mother river of Zhangjiajie, from our window. It was a very pleasant experience.

Excellent stay near Zhangjiajie National Forest Park We had a fantastic stay at Mengtu Hotel. The staff were incredibly attentive, friendly, and always willing to help. Even though we don't speak Chinese, the language was never a barrier, and they assisted us with everything we needed during our stay. The room was spotless, very spacious, and extremely comfortable. The location is also excellent, within walking distance of the cable car station, making it very convenient for visiting the park. A nice bonus was the complimentary pick-up service, which made our arrival much easier. The breakfast was delicious, and the lady in charge of the breakfast area was especially kind and attentive. If you're a gym enthusiast, the gym is quite basic, but it does include a multi-exercise machine that is enough to maintain your routine while travelling . Highly recommended!

The room was new and very clean, and the bathroom had a separate shower area. The location was also great, making it easy to get around and find plenty of food options nearby. Free parking was a plus, and the front desk service was excellent; they even helped move my car and were generally very responsive to requests. The laundry room was well-equipped, not just with a washer-dryer combo but also a separate clothes drying cabinet and a garment steamer. Areas for improvement: 1. One of the washer-dryer combo machines in the laundry room kept showing an error during a cycle. 2. The soundproofing for the windows facing the road wasn't good enough, and I was woken up by noise around 8 or 9 AM.

This hotel truly impressed us in every way. The service alone deserves 5+ stars. Miss Wendy (who is the front desk manager and looks like the only one who spoke English) was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and incredibly proactive. Wendy anticipated our needs, provided helpful local recommendations, allowed us to choose the room we preferred, and even helped us to select tickets to the national park without any hassle. The room had a fantastic view of the mountains, which made the stay feel very special. Breakfast was outstanding—easily a 10/10—with a wide selection and a beautiful view from the restaurant. The location is also a major plus: very close to the train station and extremely convenient for both the airport and train stations. As an added bonus, there is restaurants nearby, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere in the evenings. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. Because of the Wendy we extended our trip in this hotel for another week.

The beautiful front desk lady at this hotel is very enthusiastic❤️. Seeing that the child I brought was upgraded to a parent-child room for free, this hotel is my favorite light luxury style. The hygiene and service are very good. They provide fruit snacks and the breakfast has a variety of varieties. The most important thing is that it is very close to various attractions. We loved the hotel: it has everything you need for a comfortable stay, from daily cleaning to a magnificent rooftop pool with mountain views. The breakfasts are incredibly delicious, and there's a wide variety of drinks to choose from. I'd especially like to mention the staff, particularly Cici, a girl who stole our hearts. She's very sweet, kind, friendly, and cheerful. She was always helpful with helping with our route, booking tickets, and answering numerous questions about getting around China. Cici speaks excellent English, which made our stay in China much easier, as it was our first time here. The other staff members were also very sweet, kind, and hospitable. Our impressions were excellent, as both the hotel itself and the staff were of a very high standard. We definitely recommend the hotel! ❤️❤️❤️

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an affordable but quality stay near Zhangjiajie Forest Park! The service was some of the best I've had in China, the staff always greeted me with a smile and one woman in particular was very helpful when I ran out of data and she hotspot me! The location was fantastic, only a 15-20 minute walk from the East gate and 10 minute walk into the main part of Wulingyuan, plenty of options for food around as well. Bed was super comfortable, just the right amount of softness, and soundproofing in the room was adequate for a good night's sleep. The cleanliness was slightly lacking in certain areas but overall sufficient and I would definitely stay here again should I ever find myself in Wulingyuan in the future!

This was my first trip to Zhangjiajie, and after reading many reviews, I chose the Qinghe Jinjiang International Hotel – and it was an excellent choice! The hotel is conveniently located near the East Gate of Wulingyuan National Forest Park, within walking distance, and there are many restaurants nearby. It's a truly upscale and luxurious five-star hotel! The room was very spacious, the air conditioning worked exceptionally well, and the bathroom was large, with a clean and well-separated wet and dry area. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of delicious options. The front desk staff, both the ladies and gentlemen, were incredibly welcoming and helpful, and the housekeeping team were very kind. I had booked a standard room with one breakfast, and they upgraded me to a deluxe standard room for free and even gave me an extra breakfast! The hotel also provided complimentary fruit and dessert, which was a lovely touch. Even though it was hot and I was tired from exploring, coming back to the hotel for a good rest made a huge difference. This trip was very enjoyable! If I visit Zhangjiajie again, I will definitely choose this hotel!
