This hotel offers incredible value for money, even more economical than some domestic chain hotels at the same time – quite surprising! I initially booked for two nights, had a great stay, and extended for another night in the same room. My child didn't want to leave and spent every day playing with other kids at the pool. Overall, it's an established five-star hotel. I booked a 2.7-meter king-size bed, which is perfect for families with children. The breakfast was plentiful, with everything you'd expect. While having breakfast, I noticed almost half the guests were foreigners, either families with kids or couples. There are plenty of restaurants right across the street, making dining very convenient. The 'Charming Xiangxi' theater is right next door, but we weren't interested in that type of show and didn't go – but it might appeal to others. We walked back to the hotel from the Landmark Gate (East Gate) once, and it was a bit far, so I'd recommend taking a taxi. Choosing Pullman this time was a very wise decision; it's an older hotel but very well-managed overall. Highly recommended! Friends can consider it based on their own circumstances.

Staying at Wotianju this trip was a delightful surprise! It's incredibly close to all the attractions, basically within ten minutes. We drove there ourselves, and the hotel itself is unbelievably huge – you even need to drive to get around inside! The front desk also gave us a free room upgrade, which made us really not want to leave. The hotel pays attention to details everywhere: the butler service is super responsive and on-call, the welcome fruit was chilled, and even a simple blanched lettuce at the Chinese restaurant was delicious. You can tell the chef really knows their stuff – it was fresh and not greasy. You could easily just stay at the hotel for all your eating, drinking, and entertainment needs. There's a huge lawn, and reading a book and having tea by the river under the trees was just incredibly relaxing; time just seemed to slow down. After dinner, we'd go swimming and then soak in the hot springs. Honestly, even though it's an outdoor hot spring, the cleanliness was excellent. Back where we're from, a hot spring of this quality for two people would cost about the same as a night's stay! I forgot my facial cleanser when we left, and the butler even arranged for SF Express to send it home – absolutely perfect! You can tell the owner put a lot of effort into the hotel's construction, design, and staff management. I would definitely come back to Zhangjiajie just for this hotel again. A hundred points!

This Huatian Hotel boasts an excellent location. The view facing the river, especially at night, is beautiful. It's very close to the Tianmen Mountain cable car, just a few minutes' walk away, making getting around extremely convenient. The room itself is generally spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding and decent soundproofing. Aside from being a bit dated, the hardware facilities are overall good. The staff were responsive, and the check-in and check-out process was smooth. The only downside was the breakfast experience, which was just average. There was a limited selection of dishes, and they weren't very appealing, with not much variety. Table clearing after meals was also not very prompt. Putting the breakfast aside, the overall stay was satisfactory, primarily due to its convenient location. It's a good choice for travelers mainly focused on visiting scenic spots, especially if you don't have high expectations for breakfast.

This guesthouse boasts absolutely stunning views and a beautiful, serene, and comfortable environment – truly on par with high-end luxury lodges abroad, but without the exorbitant price tag. The restaurant is also fantastic; I ate there for three days straight because the food was so good I didn't want to eat anywhere else. What really sets them apart, though, is their service. It's not the rigid, formal service you find at a five-star hotel; instead, it's incredibly thoughtful and attentive, always putting the guest's needs first. For example, if we ordered too much food, the restaurant would even proactively help us figure out how to save it for our next meal. Every other service detail was just as impressive – any request was met with a helpful response. It was such a comfortable and personalized experience. Getting to the West Gate of the Forest Park from here is also very convenient, as the guesthouse offers pick-up and drop-off services. They also provide incredibly detailed and professional advice based on your itinerary, making it completely stress-free for first-time visitors. I will definitely be back!

Honestly, you would be hard-pressed to find a hotel of this quality at anything close to this price in Australia or the US. A special mention to Xiao Fu, who went above and beyond with information, recommendations and service throughout our stay. His help made the experience even better. I booked three nights at this Hampton by Hilton on Ctrip, trusting in the brand's quality. The hotel's location is excellent, right across the road from the Tianmen Mountain cable car. The lobby is bright and spacious, and the staff were very friendly. They upgraded our room, which was large, with a separate wet and dry area in the bathroom. The room was quiet, clean, and hygienic. In the evening, the staff even brought a delicious five-grain congee as a late-night snack. Breakfast was plentiful with a wide variety of options. The laundry room with a dryer was convenient and efficient. There are also restaurants nearby, making dining easy. The hotel has a large underground parking garage, which was very convenient! I would definitely stay here again if I come back to Zhangjiajie.

Every morning started perfectly with a delicious selection of breakfast foods, and having access to a complimentary laundry service was an amazing, convenient bonus after long days of exploring. The location is an absolute dream—chef’s kiss—as it is just a few minutes' walk to the park's East Gate, and surrounded by a fantastic variety of local food places and a relaxing massage shop right nearby. What truly made our trip unforgettable was the exceptional service; the staff members were incredibly helpful, warm, and accommodating, taking care of booking all of our itineraries and passes for Zhangjiajie. This hotel has a great atmosphere, and even features a pool, though it's only open from 3 PM to 9 PM. The most stunning feature is the rooftop observation deck, offering panoramic views of Wulingyuan and the surrounding mountains. However, the rooms themselves leave a lot to be desired; the hotel is definitely in need of a renovation and interior updates. Some rooms face the pool, while others, like mine, just look out onto the staircase leading to the upper floors. The room appeared larger in the photos than it was in reality. The hotel breakfasts are decent; you can grab a bite from 7 AM to 9 AM before heading out for a hike in the mountains. The location isn't ideal for the East Gate, though, as you'll have to walk almost entirely through the town for 15-20 minutes or take a taxi. On the bright side, the hotel is surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants.

The hospitality was truly first-class; the hosts were attentive and gracious, going so far as to launder my clothes without hesitation. I was generously upgraded to the largest room, and while it did not offer a view, every other aspect of the experience was faultless. My only minor observation — offered as feedback rather than criticism — is that the in-room Bluetooth was not functional; had it been, the room would have been flawless. A remarkable stay overall, and one I will not hesitate to book again.

I had such a lovely stay here! It’s a shame that I only stayed for one night. I was able to check in early, which was great after an early train ride and was greeted by friendly staff and a welcome package of snacks, toiletries and homemade glutinous rice wrapped in bamboo leaves! It was so thoughtful and kind of them. The location is perfect with the lower cable way station for Tianmen Mountain just a couple minutes walk away. There are also plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. The room was perfectly clean and had everything I needed. I would absolutely recommend staying here!

If you want a quiet place with exceptional service, this is the place to stay. We spent 5 nights here. They provide personalised trip planning, discount ticket booking for all attractions in the Zhangjiajie area, and a free shuttle to the South gate entrance. The shuttle is free back and forth (up to 3km one way) for any reason - dinners near the gate, for example. The breakfast is served to you and was delicious, they also accommodated my vegetarian requests. This is a small hotel - but with a homestay or B&B vibe. A lot of care and detail has been put into the design of the entire facility. There is an elevator. There is a natural spring with a dipper in the lower level - excellent drinking water! We refilled our water bottles there several times. Our room had the forest view with a terrace. It was great to have the extra space to relax in. This comes up as a Didi location, so it was easy to schedule our rides to and from the airport and train station. We took a Didi back from the east gate one day - so crazy there and noisy in that area! If you like huge hotels and a party atmosphere, stay there. Otherwise, choose the Qiquan.

I timed it myself: about 20 minutes to the high-speed rail station, 15 minutes to the airport, and only about 10 minutes to the bus/train station. Getting a ride was super easy, making it a true gem for business travelers or anyone needing to catch a train/flight. What was most surprising is that despite such a convenient location, the hotel's surroundings were exceptionally quiet, completely undisturbed by traffic noise. I slept incredibly soundly at night and could even hear birds chirping in the morning. The service was also very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel to travelers who value both convenient transportation and a peaceful environment for rest! I will definitely choose to stay here again next time.

I traveled with my family and chose this hotel. The accommodation experience was absolutely amazing. I have to give it a five-star rating! The moment you step into the hotel, you will be infected by its elegant and grand atmosphere. When checking in, the staff was not only extremely efficient, but also patiently answered our various questions about nearby tours. Their attitude was as friendly as old friends who had not seen each other for a long time. The room is very warmly decorated, spacious and bright, with great lighting. As soon as you open the window, you can see the beautiful city view, and your mood will instantly improve. The bed was clean and comfortable, and even the pillows were at just the right height, allowing my family and I to have a good night's sleep. The bathroom is also very user-friendly, and they provide toiletries specifically for children, which is very thoughtful. The hotel's supporting facilities are also quite complete, and the children had a lot of fun. The equipment in the gym is new and diverse, meeting my daily exercise needs. Lovely hotel! The owners are super nice and friendly, and their cooking was delicious! The views are unbeatable and there are adorable kittens on the property as well. We got upgraded rooms since we went when it wasn’t too busy, and the room was beautiful. Only downside to being in the mountains is the bugs, but that’s kinda of hard to avoid given the climate and location. Also, since it’s up the mountain, it can be a little difficult for DiDi drivers to get to, but we had no problem (a trip from the train station was about 10-15 usd / 70-100 rmb). Overall would recommend (especially their food!).

This was a very relaxing and enjoyable four-day trip, and Xiya Hotel really added to the experience. Among all the accommodations in Zhangjiajie, Xiya was by far the most satisfying. The guesthouse is ideally located, very close to the South Gate of the Forest Park, making access to the scenic area incredibly convenient. The rooms are clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The window view overlooks the mountains of Zhangjiajie, and it’s especially beautiful to see the clouds and mist in the mornings and evenings. The owner and staff are exceptionally warm and welcoming. They proactively helped with arrangements and provided detailed information both before and after check-in, including very clear directions to the scenic spots. This was especially helpful for first-time visitors to Zhangjiajie. Their advice during our days of touring was incredibly practical and saved us a lot of time on planning. The owner even created a personalized tour map and itinerary, which clearly shows their dedication. The breakfast was also good, and the overall service felt very warm and genuine, not commercialized at all. After a long day of sightseeing, returning to the guesthouse and sitting in the courtyard, admiring the mountain views and feeling the breeze, was truly relaxing. After staying in Zhangjiajie for several days, Xiya definitely stood out as an excellent choice. If I return to Zhangjiajie in the future, I would likely choose to stay here again. We had not organised ourselves very well , but Tim organised and book our tickets for the Forest park , the Tianamen mts and the Canyon. We were given good advice when to start our day . The hotel has a great breakfast and laundry . We had a sl problem with a Didi payment and Robert immediately sorted the payment . It was great to have so many English speaking staff. Chelsea from the front desk was helpful with everything right down to providing umbrellas. The proximity to the park and peaceful surrounds makes this hotel feel like a home away from home . A phone call to the hotel was answered by Tim and my request to book my tickets was done even before we arrived. Service at that level is priceless. We thank the team for making our stay soo comfortable. The score I give is 20 out of ten .we requested a tour guide for the day and Sasa was the English speaking guide excellent knowledge .

This was our first stop in Zhangjiajie, and the hotel's location is super convenient, right on Wuling Road, very close to the East Gate – just a few minutes away. There are plenty of restaurants and supermarkets behind and to the left of the hotel, offering a great selection of local specialties. Across the road is a river, perfect for a stroll along the bank in the mornings and evenings; the gentle breeze is really pleasant. At night, the lights along the river are beautiful, and sometimes there are drone shows, which you can even see from the hotel. All the rooms have balconies with plenty of hangers, so you can easily dry clothes or just relax and sit outside. The hotel staff are very service-oriented; if you call the front desk for water or towels, they respond really quickly. All the front desk staff are very friendly, especially a young man surnamed Li – he's very clever and has a great attitude. It's definitely worth coming back here again.

Miss Wendy (who is the front desk manager and looks like the only one who spoke English) was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and incredibly proactive. Wendy anticipated our needs, provided helpful local recommendations, allowed us to choose the room we preferred, and even helped us to select tickets to the national park without any hassle. The room had a fantastic view of the mountains, which made the stay feel very special. Breakfast was outstanding—easily a 10/10—with a wide selection and a beautiful view from the restaurant. The location is also a major plus: very close to the train station and extremely convenient for both the airport and train stations. As an added bonus, there is restaurants nearby, creating a lively and enjoyable atmosphere in the evenings. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Zhangjiajie. Because of the Wendy we extended our trip in this hotel for another week.

It took a while for the resort to respond to my suggestion of communication by wechat through Trip.com. But when it did, communication was in full flow until my arrival at the hotel. Nick to whom I've been communicating with was great all throughout. He arranged all ticket entries for me into the Grand Canyon, Yuanjiajie and Tianmen. Even suggested a local guide to which I happily utilised. I enquired about pick-up and drop-off and was advised that that was additional fees. I requested to go ahead with the arrangements and there was someone waiting for me upon my arrival with my name on a card. The resort is a 40 minute drive away just outside the Zhangjiajie National Park and very close to the middle gate. I was upgraded to a larger room upon my arrival which exceeded my expectation. There is a self laundry area downstairs which I happily used with Nick's help. Someone was currently using the washing machine as I took down my laundry and Nick advised to leave the laundry basket there and he and his staff would keep an eye on things and bring up my clean laundry to my room later. That was a very helpful suggestion as I was extremely tired and wanted a decent night sleep before the next morning of hiking. I awoke to clean laundry outside my room door the next morning. Customer service at this resort is just great. Breakfast came with the room and it was wonderful. Great variety too! I would highly recommend this resort because of the location and great customer service.

The room was clean and in a mountain-style with exposed beams. Breakfast was so-so, but they do their best to accommodate guests. Noodles are custom made. Overall good value for money in a very busy touristy place.
