From Hong Kong

  • By MTR and Foot
    Take the MTR East Rail Line to Lok Ma Chau Station, then follow the clearly marked signs to the Futian Port immigration checkpoint. After clearing both Hong Kong and mainland China customs, it is a short, covered walk directly into Futian District and the station entrance.
  • By High-Speed Train
    For a faster and more comfortable option, board the Guangzhou–Shenzhen–Hong Kong High-Speed Rail at Hong Kong West Kowloon Station. The journey to Futian Station takes about 15–20 minutes, with frequent departures throughout the day. Tickets can be purchased in advance through Trip.com or the official 12306 app, both of which accept international credit cards.

  • Hong Kong International Airport (HKG)
    • Airport Express + High-Speed Rail: Ride the Airport Express to Kowloon Station (about 20 minutes). From there, walk or take a short taxi to West Kowloon Station, then board the high-speed train to Futian Station (about 15–20 minutes).
    • Cross-Border Bus: Several direct cross-border coach services operate from HKG to Futian District. After clearing immigration, it’s a brief taxi or metro ride to Futian Station.

High-Speed Rail Tickets

  • Online Booking: Reserve seats through Trip.com or the official 12306 website/app. Both platforms accept international credit cards, including Visa and Mastercard, making them friendly for Malaysian users.
  • Station Counters & Machines: If you prefer to buy in person, Futian Station has staffed ticket counters and self-service machines with English menus. You must present your passport to purchase or collect tickets.
  • E-Tickets: When booking online, you can often use an e-ticket by scanning your passport at the gate, eliminating the need for a paper ticket.
  • Typical Fare : A one-way Hong Kong West Kowloon → Futian high-speed train ticket is usually around ¥68 (CNY), roughly RM 42 for a standard second-class seat. Prices may vary slightly by train class or time of day

Metro Tickets

  • Single Journey Tokens: Purchase from vending machines at any metro station; instructions are available in English.
  • Shenzhen Tong Card: For frequent travel, get a rechargeable Shenzhen Tong smart card, which allows easy tap-in/out access and can also be used on buses and some taxis.

The surrounding area is well-developed, so whether I'm meeting clients or traveling to and from transport hubs, I don't have to spend a lot of time on the road. For tight business schedules, this saves a lot on commuting time. After adding Joy on WeChat, many minor issues didn't require a special trip to the front desk. If I needed to confirm information or coordinate simple requests, I could handle it directly online, without having to take time out of a busy schedule to go to the lobby, saving me the hassle of running back and forth. The room maintenance is quite good; it's always clean and tidy each time I check in. For short business trips, it's just a temporary stop for rest, and a consistent room condition helps avoid many unexpected small problems, allowing me to relax peacefully after a long day. The entire check-in and check-out process was simple and smooth, with no unnecessary or complicated procedures.

The hotel is located in the bustling Futian central area, with direct subway access, which is incredibly convenient. Although it's a five-star hotel that's over ten years old, and the decor is no longer trendy, it's exceptionally well-maintained. Despite its age, it doesn't feel run-down or old. Both the lobby and rooms exude an old-school luxury, providing great comfort and excellent value for money! A small suggestion: it would be even better if coffee machines were provided. Although I wouldn't use one, it's a standard amenity in five-star hotels these days and not difficult to implement!

Situated in the Futian Free Trade Zone, it's very close to the Futian and Huanggang Port immigration checkpoints, offering convenient access to Futian CBD and the Convention and Exhibition Center. Getting to Futian Station by taxi is also very easy. The guest rooms are spacious, and the Four Points' signature comfortable beds provide a great night's sleep. The rooms are clean and tidy, with complete bathroom facilities and stable internet. Some room types even offer river views. The soundproofing is good, ensuring a peaceful rest. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the service attitude was attentive. The breakfast buffet offers a rich variety of options, a good mix of Western and Chinese cuisine, including freshly made Cantonese dim sum like Chee Cheong Fun and Koay Teow. The food quality is consistently good, and the dining environment is comfortable. Hotel amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, a 24-hour gym, and ample parking space in the underground car park, including charging spots, which is very convenient for those traveling by car. As a Marriott five-star hotel, it offers good value for money overall. It's suitable for both business trips and travelers commuting between Shenzhen and Hong Kong. My stay was very satisfying, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Shenzhen.

Taking advantage of a break before the National Day holiday, I traveled solo to Shenzhen and stayed at the Hilton Shenzhen Futian. Getting around and transferring was convenient, and the surrounding commercial area was well-developed, making my trip very enjoyable. The hotel's location is superb, with many convenience stores and restaurants downstairs, making it easy to go out for a walk and find food in the evening. The room was clean and tidy inside, the bathroom drainage was smooth, toiletries were complete, and there were no strange odors. The soundproofing in the room was decent; with the door closed, I could barely hear corridor noise, and the lighting adjustment was also very handy. Check-out at the front desk was quick, and the luggage storage service was also very smooth. Just a small piece of feedback: the number of lockers in the pool changing room isn't very large, so during peak evening hours, you might have to wait a little. Overall, the hotel's hardware, hygiene, and service all meet five-star standards, making it a very suitable place for a solo traveler.

Loved my entire stay with my husband! It’s my first time in China and we opted to explore Futien in Shenzhen as our first stop just to familiarize myself with the area.  The location of the hotel was perfect, literally walking distance from the high speed train station, which we appreciated.  Our room had an incredible view and the space inside the room was huge! The bathroom had a tub, we had a walk in closet and had a very comfortable bed. The temperature upon entering the rom was also perfect - can’t say that abt other hotels!  We opted to include breakfast buffet as part of our stay - and it did not disappoint. The selection and quality of food exceeded our expectations and all staff were very friendly, the ones we came across were so warm, friendly, and very accommodating!  Thank you Shangrila Futien for the most perfect first time in China experience. ♥️

This stay was exceptionally good! The location is excellent, making travel very convenient. The room was newly renovated, and the staff were all very welcoming, creating a great living experience. I especially want to thank Erick Lu, Mandy Li, and Cindy Long from the Executive Lounge for their attentive hospitality. The concierge also provided excellent assistance. The hotel is well-staffed, so even with a high volume of guests, they managed to serve everyone well, and service responses were very prompt. Overall, the service was meticulous and thoughtful, and the environment was comfortable and relaxing. I had a truly pleasant stay and sincerely appreciate everyone's dedication. I look forward to my next visit!

I stayed at the Four Seasons Hotel Shenzhen for a temporary business trip, and the attention to detail in their service left a lasting impression. Upon arriving at the hotel entrance, Max, the manager who assisted me with my previous check-in, immediately recognized me and provided exceptional service. His incredible memory for guests truly showcases the high-caliber service at luxury hotels. The guest room had an open layout, offering a nearly perfect stay and rest experience. The sofa lounge area, workspace, and sleeping area were clearly separated, creating a smooth flow that's ideal for business travelers. The bathroom featured a bathtub and a smart toilet, and all facilities were well-maintained, making for a comfortable stay during my business trip. Breakfast was at the FOO restaurant, which boasts a timeless 'old money' design that has stood the test of time. My favorite part was the seating experience; there were numerous semi-private 'booth' style seats that offered great comfort and allowed for an undisturbed dining experience. The breakfast selection was impressive, featuring everything from Kashi yogurt, a wide variety of bread options, freshly made wontons, to Chinese brewed flower teas. It's clear that the Four Seasons invests heavily in its dining offerings, making the early morning breakfast experience for a business trip truly satisfying.

Shenzhen has cooled down these past few days, it's not as hot anymore. My friend and I went to climb Wutong Mountain. I highly recommend climbing Wutong Mountain these days; the weather is great, and you can catch both the sunrise and sunset. After coming down, it's right by the subway, and the subway goes directly to the hotel downstairs with only one transfer, making transportation extremely convenient. I also slept very well at night. The hotel rooms are suite-style, which means they are spacious. The front desk service was excellent.

Didn't have time to experience the ancillary facilities.

I used to frequent their Luohu branch and always had a great stay. This time, I had some work to do in Nanshan and happened to spot this branch, so I booked it right away. My overall experience was fantastic, as always! 👍🏻 The hotel offers breakfast and a gym, and the breakfast selection is diverse. The location is also very convenient, close to the subway station. The front desk staff were incredibly welcoming and friendly – big shout-out to the ladies and gentlemen there! 👍🏻 Check-in and check-out were super efficient, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. The room was clean and tidy, and the environment was quiet. Overall, it offers great value for money. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Nanshan.

The biggest selling point is the high-floor sea view; the floor-to-ceiling windows offer a breathtaking panorama of mountains meeting the sea. Downstairs, there's a shopping mall, making dining and shopping very convenient. We could also walk to the seaside promenade. The room was spacious, breakfast had a rich variety, and the service was top-notch. It's perfect for a relaxing weekend in Yantian. If you're looking for a quiet getaway, this is the place.

We stayed in the Deluxe sea view king room with a balcony. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a friendly smile from Zoe and Jessica who were always really thoughtful, attentive and ready to help. The front house staff are an asset to the hotel. The apartment features an open-plan design that feels larger than a standard hotel room, complete with home-like comforts including a washer/dryer machine which allowed us to refresh our clothes. A clothes hanger along with detergent is provided by the hotel again providing ease. The views from the balcony were stunning. Large windows across the rooms and the hotel offer fantastic, sweeping views of the surrounding area and waterfront. The sleeping and living spaces are kept spotless and hygienic by the housekeeping team. Situated close to 2 metro stations and local shopping options and residential conveniences, making daily errands simple. This was our first time in Shenzhen and will most definitely won’t be our last a special thank you to all at Hampton :)
