At the 6th floor lobby there are free, chilled welcome drink daily at times (till it's gone), and there is a good variety ranging from matcha milk tea, oolong tea, bael fruit tea, chrysanthenum tea. Many places all around the hotel for breakfast!

It's also not far from ASEAN Night Bazaar and other important tourist attractions or shopping areas in Hat Yai. For those traveling to Hat Yai for sightseeing or shopping, I think this location is quite ideal because you can easily go out and explore and then return to the hotel without much hassle, especially for those who don't want to stay in an overly bustling area.

It is well within walking distance to both the popular Lee Garden Night Market and Kim Yong Market. • Abundant Dining: The surrounding area is vibrant and packed with a fantastic variety of shops selling local foods, snacks, and drinks. You will never go hungry staying here. Areas for Improvement: • Water Quality: We noticed a distinct, metallic taste in the water while showering, which was somewhat unpleasant and suggests the piping or filtration system may need maintenance. • Room Lighting: The lighting in the rooms is quite dim and insufficient. If you are traveling with senior citizens, you will need to take extra care to ensure they can navigate the space safely. • Bedging Comfort: The mattresses were noticeably uncomfortable and firm, which impacted our quality of sleep after a long day of walking. I stayed at Subanan Resident in Hatyai and had a really good experience overall. The cleanliness is the first thing that stood out — the place is spotless, probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at in this price range. The service was also impressive. When I had an issue with the WiFi, I just gave them a call and the staff personally came over to hand me the code face-to-face. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Even on my first visit, the parking service was clear and well-organised, which made things easier. Location-wise, it’s not in the busy tourist area, which I actually liked. It’s surrounded by local houses, so the vibe is calmer and more relaxing. Within walking distance (about 4 minutes) there’s a Big C Mini, and a 7-Eleven about 7 minutes away. It’s a nice balance — not too far from convenience, but away from the tourist crowds and heat. As for amenities, they’re average. One of the rooms came with a Netflix account, while another didn’t, which was a bit inconsistent. Also, setting it up wasn’t the most straightforward — you need to switch between the TV remote and the Xiaomi box remote, which takes a little figuring out. Overall, if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a calm local atmosphere over being in the middle of the tourist spots, Subanan Resident is a solid choice. Btw the coffee n tea pastries is just a cupcake and milo powder

When I travel to Hatyai, I usually will book this S.C. Heritage Hotel! The vibes are wonderful and also the price is affordable. The location of the hotel is strategic and nearby to the city centre. You can also go to the Hatyai train station easily! This is my favorite hotel and I recommend this hotel too! Check out the view from my room at level 6! (refer to the picture). There's also a limited parking space provided! Overall, the hotel is clean, proper, affordable, accessible and simple! Suitable for family, couple or solo travelers!

The overall value for money is high. If I had one small suggestion, it would be that rooms in Block A facing the bar can be a bit noisy at night, which might affect light sleepers. I'd recommend choosing a room in a different block when booking; it would be much quieter and lead to a better stay. Aside from that minor issue, the overall accommodation experience was very satisfying. The room was comfortable, the environment was clean, and the location was excellent. I would definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in the area and would recommend it to friends and family.

The rooms were nice, clean, right size, very friendly customer service and they prepared porridge, fried mee hoon and free flow of drinks (hot drinks making machine) and pineapple biscuits too. You also can make a hot pot of tea too. All free I really love when we reached our room after 7pm and the room air-condition were on for us but only for the 1st night. Hope they will continue to on it whenever someone booked the rooms and that will be a great services to us. The only complaint I would want to make is that they found the towel dirty and took photo telling me that I might need to pay but frankly, I did not check all the towels so I replied to them that Ive no idea of the dirt as I did not check.anyway is just a small misunderstanding. Overall it was a comfortable stay.

But if you want authentic Thai hospitality, traditional Thai-inspired architecture, lush tropical surroundings, and a peaceful beachfront escape, this resort is absolutely worth it. I stayed here as a solo traveler and had one of the most relaxing stays Ive experienced. Its also perfect for couples, honeymooners, and families. I was pleasantly surprised with a complimentary upgrade to a sea-view hillside cottage even though I booked one of the more affordable room categories. The private beach was the main reason I chose this resort and it was exactly what I was looking for, quiet, uncrowded, and perfect for relaxing. I also loved the petting zoo, the beautiful pool, and the delicious food. Every staff member we encountered was warm, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Special thanks to Ms. Chuty and Ms. Kat at the front desk for making our stay even more memorable. They assisted us during checkout, kindly reminded us about a few belongings we had accidentally left in the room without ever making us feel rushed, and even allowed us to extend our stay until 12:30 PM, which we truly appreciated. Since our flight was later in the afternoon, they also arranged lounge access so we could comfortably wait in an airconditioned area until it was time to leave. Their kindness and thoughtfulness really reflected the genuine hospitality of the resort. I also appreciated the complimentary refreshments in the lobby, the beach bag provided for guests, the convenient buggy service, and the fact that ordering GrabFood was easy. My only suggestion would be to upgrade the TVs to Smart TVs. Other than that, everything exceeded my expectations. This resort may not be the newest, but it’s clean, wellmaintained, peaceful, and full of character. If you appreciate nature, privacy, and heartfelt service over ultra modern luxury, you’ll absolutely love staying here. We booked two Deluxe Rooms (two queen-size beds, with balcony) in February, and in June, we found out the water park was under renovation. We were told there would be extra pools, slides, trampolines, etc., for kids. I had booked for two days before our flight to be closer to the airport, so I didn't cancel the reservation. Plus, I wanted to see the planes take off and land. What I didn't like: The closed water park, constant renovations, fences everywhere, and the noise of drills. The additional facilities for kids didn't compensate for why we booked it in the first place for our 12 and 13-year-olds; they wanted a water park, not an inflatable trampoline for toddlers. The beach was dirty; at least they could have cleaned the trash from the hotel's section of the shore. In the balcony room, it was unbearable to sleep because the balcony door didn't close tightly. Consequently, the noise from the planes taking off made it impossible to sleep, even on the 7th floor of building 9. MINUS: The climate control panel was by the door. In another hotel we stayed at before this one, it was by the bed, so at night, I could turn the AC and lights on and off by feel. PLUSES: Because the water park was closed, upon our request, they upgraded our room category and gave us a large room in building 1. So, we spent our second night there as a family. It had two AC units and a lot of space. The breakfast was good, with plenty of variety! The area was CLEAN and well-maintained, but it didn't have that 'wow' factor. You can't swim at the beach. You have to walk about 2 km towards the 'coral graveyard,' where you can snorkel and see fish, but bottles and trash will accompany you the whole way. Overall, this hotel didn't impress us. Its main advantage is being 20 minutes from the airport.

Would like to sincerely thank The Nature Phuket for giving us such a wonderful and memorable experience during our stay, even though it was only for one night in Phuket. From the moment we stepped into the hotel, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality that instantly made us feel welcomed and comfortable. The atmosphere and vibes of the hotel were absolutely amazing, and every staff member we met was genuinely friendly and accommodating. A special shoutout to the team for successfully fulfilling our requests, especially the last-minute birthday surprise for my friend. I had forgotten to inform them earlier, but after confirming her birthday through her passport, they thoughtfully managed to prepare a sweet surprise for her on the very same day. We were truly touched by the effort and sincerity shown by the team. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations, from the excellent service to the fun time we had enjoying the swimming pool together. It's very close to Rawai Beach, with a 7-Eleven and sea-view restaurants right outside. Now for the downsides: 1. No clothes rack in the room, so no way to wash and dry clothes. 2. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast. 3. For a family of three, there's an extra charge of 150 THB for the child, but no extra bed is provided. 4. I subtly got the feeling that Chinese guests aren't particularly welcome. This is just my personal feeling and for reference only.

I was extremely satisfied with this trip. I chose the Orchid Hotel because of its location and the big waterslide, though my expectations weren't very high initially. I'd seen some reviews mentioning the hotel being damp and moldy, but I figured that for the 300-400 baht price point, it would be acceptable. I requested a high-floor, sunny room on Trip.com. I booked two rooms, and since our flight arrived late, we didn't get to the hotel until midnight. The two rooms were in different buildings, quite far apart. At first, I wasn't happy and considered asking to switch to closer rooms the next day. However, the hotel upgraded one of my standard rooms to a pool-view room, directly facing the big waterslide. My child loved it and didn't want to move, so we just made do. I stayed on the third floor of building 1. While the room wasn't brand new, it wasn't as old or damp as some reviews suggested. When I entered, the air conditioning was on. I'm not sure if it was because I'd noted my concern about dampness causing my child to get a rash, but the hotel clearly made an effort regarding customer satisfaction. As for people saying the breakfast wasn't good or that there weren't many Chinese people, I think that's subjective. My whole family found the food quite acceptable; it was typical buffet fare. The small restaurant next door was convenient for lunch and dinner. The location was great, only a few hundred meters' walk from Karon Beach. The kids had an absolute blast on the pool slide, and my two-year-old even learned to swim in the shallow pool! A truly commendable point is that it was my eldest son's birthday on the 22nd. Without any prior notification from me, the hotel decorated our room for his birthday. We were out at sea all day, and when we returned to the room that evening, we found it meticulously cleaned. The hotel had fashioned adorable little elephants from towels, adorned with fresh flowers, and left a birthday card. Both the kids and adults were amazed! My son was overjoyed. It was his first tenth birthday, and his first time receiving birthday wishes from a hotel. I have to say, for a seaside hotel in Phuket, an old establishment like the Orchid, at such a great value, making this kind of effort – I am extremely satisfied. If I ever go to Phuket again, I will definitely stay here. This is not a paid review; it's a completely genuine and objective assessment, for your reference.

I'm not sure if it was because they initially messed up my name, or for some other reason, but they upgraded us from a family room to a suite, which was large and beautiful. We were very satisfied with our stay, and there was an ocean view right outside the window. The hotel environment is nice, but the breakfast is just average. It's not too far or too close to Jungceylon and the seafood market, about a 20-minute walk, but taxis are quite expensive. The only downside is that it's too noisy at night; you can hear all the sounds from the road and the bars, and the soundproofing is a bit poor.

The studio apartment is very spacious, featuring a kitchen-living room, a bedroom, a separate bathroom with a walk-in closet, and 3 air conditioners. The room is equipped with a microwave, a stove, a capsule coffee machine, and cooking utensils. Housekeeping is every two days, but it's best to remind the reception. Beach towels are provided in the room and are replaced during cleaning. There are two buildings and several pools on the property. Guests can use the shuttles from the Laguna area, and there's also a transfer service to Patong. A boat transports guests to the beach every 20 minutes from 8 AM to 12 PM and from 1 PM to 7 PM. You can also take another boat to cruise around the Laguna. On the beach, there are complimentary sun loungers and umbrellas, as well as a toilet and shower. Small stalls selling drinks, food, and corn are right on the beach. Stand-up paddleboard rentals are available nearby. The breakfasts are good, offering vegetables, fruits, cheese, pastries, a kids' table, yogurts, an egg station, coffee, beverages, and much more.

I booked 2 nights without breakfast and purchased a breakfast coupon during check-in, which saved me 100 baht. The location is the only downside which around 15–20 mins walk to Bangla Road and Patong Beach. However, there are good local food options about 10 mins away. The infinity pool is well maintained, with great cocktail happy hours. A perfect place to relax away from the busy nightlife. I would definitely come back to stay here again.

This hotel truly lives up to its reputation among Chinese travelers. I booked a direct pool access room and, before arriving, I was worried about insects on the ground floor, even bringing insect repellent. To my surprise, I didn't see a single bug. The bathroom was a bit dated, not as bright and new-looking as in the pictures. Breakfast was mostly Western fare. As for service, the cleaning staff on the first day were excellent, but on the second and third days, it was a different person who seemed grumpy. The biggest downside is the poor soundproofing. Every night around 11 PM, staff would push what sounded like a cleaning cart up and down the first floor, making a huge racket. Everything else was good; I didn't experience any discrimination, and they proactively helped with luggage. The location was also convenient.

The downside is that the hotel is very large and the rooms are located halfway up the hill, so you need to take the hotel shuttle for all ins and outs. However, the shuttle service is very convenient and always available on demand, with excellent service. There are many restaurants outside the hotel, and Patong Beach is within walking distance. For Jungceylon Shopping Center in Patong, you'll need to take a taxi. Overall, it's a great place, and definitely recommended for those seeking breathtaking sea views.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay! It's better to book rooms from 48 sq m and up. We had a 30 sq m room, which was a bit small. We were immediately impressed by the panoramic views and the famous infinity pool – so much so that we booked a few nights there almost immediately after dinner. And honestly, the hotel exceeded our expectations. The service here is truly top-notch, the infrastructure is excellent, and the staff are incredibly attentive. We appreciated the attention to detail: you can easily contact the reception, order services, and book activities through a convenient app, saving a lot of time on organizational matters. I particularly want to highlight the staff – all employees are very friendly, attentive, and respond quickly to any requests. Housekeeping was done daily and to a high standard, without any complaints. The breakfasts deserve special mention. The selection is truly impressive: Japanese and Italian cuisine, BBQ, a wide variety of fresh fruits, desserts, a chocolate fountain, and a DIY bar with mojitos and other cocktails. There's also a separate coffee bar where you can order coffee drinks or a matcha latte. We couldn't even try everything in just a few days. Another pleasant bonus is the recently opened sauna next to the main pool. It's very well-equipped, and thanks to regular cleaning, it's always clean and fresh inside, without any damp smell. The hotel is located a bit away from the main city infrastructure. However, this is perfectly compensated by the free shuttle service to and from Jungceylon, which runs throughout the day. Ultimately, we had such a wonderful time that we decided to extend our stay for an additional night. For us, this is probably the best indicator of how much we loved the hotel. A big thank you to the entire team at Kalima Resort & Spa for a wonderful vacation. I'm sure this was far from our last stay here – we will definitely be back again.

This resort is located in Rawai, and it’s a great choice if you’re looking to stay away from the chaos of Patong. We booked a room with direct pool access, and it was absolutely worth it, especially in Thailand’s warm weather. We also really enjoyed the fresh coconut juice and mango sticky rice from the small kiosk just outside the hotel. It’s very convenient, with a convenience store nearby as well perfect for quick snacks. The beach area has a lovely atmosphere, especially the chairs under the trees, which make for a relaxing spot to sit and enjoy the view. However, swimming isn’t ideal as the water is a bit murky. It also seemed like some drainage from nearby resorts flows directly into the sea, which was disappointing.

Breakfast was decent, quite simple, with good fruit, but the juices were not freshly squeezed, which was a bit disappointing. Cons: The gym equipment was limited, and the hotel is quite far from the beach and town. Overall, it's good value for money, nothing exceptional but left a positive impression. It's not over-the-top excellent though. This hotel is suitable for those looking for a quiet retreat nestled on a hillside or for people who plan to go sightseeing far away during the day. Let's start with the positives: the staff at the front desk, room service, and restaurant guides were all smiling, helpful, and greeted everyone warmly. Now for the negatives: The room we stayed in this time was actually quite small; with two people and two pieces of luggage, it felt a bit cramped. We stayed in Building 2 this time. When checking in, I told the front desk about a previous stay (in a suite in Building 3) where the balcony faced a huge, noisy air conditioning unit from next door, making it impossible to sleep, and asked to avoid a similar room. However, every room in Building 2 this time had individual AC units, not central air, and the main issue was that the AC blew directly onto the bed! I managed to sleep the first night, but woke up in the middle of the night from the cold. On the second night, there was nothing I could do to block it, so I had to grab the hotel's bathrobe to use as a makeshift wind deflector. Moreover, when the AC blew downwards, the whole room would warm up, but when it blew directly, the temperature would drop. No wonder the room also came with a fan (another room on the 7th floor). The room design felt very makeshift and lacked the thoughtful hotel ambiance: although it did create a lush atmosphere (with green plants everywhere and numerous seedlings for photo opportunities). Because I didn't sleep comfortably, I probably won't consider staying here again.

Before my trip, I browsed through many hotels and reviews, some good, some not so good. Ultimately, I decided to experience it myself, and I found it to be truly excellent. We booked the Veli Wing, which is perfect for kids with tons of water facilities. You can see the sea right across the road, and the beach isn't crowded. The hotel also allows you to sign for expenses, which is very convenient. I really love their Thai restaurant; the taste easily surpasses the small shops nearby. However, the commercial amenities in the surrounding area are relatively limited.

I regret not staying an extra night! We first stayed 3 nights near Kata, then two nights at Pullman, which wasn't enough. There was too little time to just relax, and with so many fun places in Phuket, it was hard to stay put. The hotel breakfast was amazing – we'd sit from 8 AM till 11 AM, and the view was absolutely stunning. The beach was uncrowded, perfect for lounging. It's also super close to the airport, only about a 10-15 minute drive, and the hotel's shuttle service was quick and commendable. What's also worth mentioning is that the hotel is right next to the Thai Elephant Home, so we didn't have to join a tour and waste time with detours or picking up other guests – we were the last stop, haha! The whole experience was excellent.

The hotel's location is quite good; you can walk directly to Karon Beach from the hotel, and it's not far from Kata Night Market, just a few minutes' walk away. Many of the hotel staff can speak Chinese, so communication was mostly hassle-free. Although the rooms have a wooden structure, they are elevated, so even though it's near the sea, there's no feeling of dampness. The breakfast was decent. The 'Red Chopsticks' restaurant at the entrance is also good. Our room package included dinner, though we didn't eat there every day. The 'On The Rock' restaurant within the hotel is a nice spot to watch the sunset. Overall, it was pretty good.

Since I didn't book a hotel in advance for Chinese New Year, I decided to book this place as the price for a triple room was quite reasonable. The triple room was actually pretty spacious, and having one bed per person was perfect. Location: Overall, the location isn't super convenient. Luckily, we booked private cars and island hopping tours for both days we stayed. Otherwise, there's really nothing around. This place seems quite convenient for going to Phi Phi Island, though, as there's a pier about a kilometer away. I saw many people returning from there in the afternoon. Patong Beach is about 4-5 kilometers away. Environment: They gave us a room facing the street, and it was incredibly noisy. The sound of motorbikes revving was super loud. I tried asking the front desk to change rooms, but it wasn't possible.

1. The steep slope mentioned in reviews was certainly noticeable on our first day, but we got used to it by the second time. 2. This hotel is super close to Kata Beach! It was awesome to go surfing in the evenings. 3. Breakfast was decent; it was better when the noodle soup was available. I recommend going early. On my first day, I went at 10:30 AM and there was no noodle soup, but on the second day, I went at 9 AM and they had it. 4. Overall, it's very quiet, perfect for couples or those who prefer a peaceful atmosphere. 5. Perhaps the only minor drawback is that the room lighting is a bit dim, but you can do your makeup on the balcony or at the foot of the bed.

The hotel is a bit dated. Although the common areas use central air conditioning, our smaller room had an individual AC unit. It was incredibly noisy, making it hard to sleep, and definitely needs replacing. Breakfast was decent, and the hotel's overall environment was okay. However, try to avoid the side near the corridor, as there's an unfinished building that looks quite eerie. There are two Thai restaurants within a 5-minute walk of the hotel entrance, one to the left and one to the right. The one on the left is better and accepts WeChat Pay, though it charges a 3% service fee. We chose this hotel mainly for its proximity to the airport, as we had a Similan Islands day trip scheduled for the next day. Staying here allowed us to wake up at least an hour later than if we had stayed at beaches like Patong. We also noticed many flight attendants staying at the hotel during breakfast.
