We had a great time here for 3 nights, the hotel is beautiful with the Thai northern style design. The room is spacious, clean and quiet. The staff is friendly and helpful. The location is located in the center of the town, so it’s easy to get to anywhere within a short time. The cafe is just opposite the hotel and 7/11 is behind the hotel. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel because we’re not sure it’s halal or not, but their restaurant has pork menus. Overall, we’re happy staying here.

The city was hit hard (heavy rain- floods) in the year end 2025. Many hotels have the smell couldn't been wash away. But this hotel have been perfect in handling odour away except the unremovable sofa (please refrain sitting the sofa,it smells terrible like spoil tofu/egg ept) Other than that, it is a great place for events. This hotel was a pleasant stay for me. It is very clean and the location is super convenient as it is just opposite Central Festival Hatyai and next to Makro. Other popular tourist spots are also nearby within around 3KM and easy to get around by renting a bike or using Grab/Maxim. Service was great, we arrived early around 7:30AM just to drop our luggage and the staff were happy to keep it. They even allowed us to check in an hour earlier since our room was ready. Amenities were good and looked very nice although I did not have time to enjoy them as I was mostly busy food hunting. The staff were friendly, helpful, spoke decent English and some Malay and breakfast did not have many choices but was acceptable and suited my taste as a Malaysian. Sorry I do not have much pictures taken inside the hotel

Stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights. The downside is that the air conditioning is not cold, the lighting is not bright enough, and the WiFi is really weak 😤. Other than that, everything is fine — there are convenient power outlets available. Room service and front desk service are perfect. 👌🏿 The location is great, just 600m walking distance to Lee Garden Night Market, and there’s a big 7-Eleven nearby.

I have a good stay here. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Can converse using good english. The parking space is huge. Location wise is very strategic, as is it easy to get around. The hotel also provided free shuttle to go to anywhere within 5km radius. For sure will choose this hotel if im planning to go to hatyai again. The room is clean & spacious. Nice decoration. The hotel is beautiful, really lovely. I regret not bringing a swimsuit, the pool looked so spacious! The only thing is it's a bit far to Lee Garden Night Market, about 15-20 minutes away. If you want to go to Central, it's about 15 minutes. Also, there's no 7-Eleven nearby, so you need to buy things beforehand or on your way back. Overall, the room was comfortable and I was satisfied.

I stayed at Subanan Resident in Hatyai and had a really good experience overall. The cleanliness is the first thing that stood out — the place is spotless, probably one of the cleanest I’ve stayed at in this price range. The service was also impressive. When I had an issue with the WiFi, I just gave them a call and the staff personally came over to hand me the code face-to-face. Check-in and check-out were both quick and smooth. Even on my first visit, the parking service was clear and well-organised, which made things easier. Location-wise, it’s not in the busy tourist area, which I actually liked. It’s surrounded by local houses, so the vibe is calmer and more relaxing. Within walking distance (about 4 minutes) there’s a Big C Mini, and a 7-Eleven about 7 minutes away. It’s a nice balance — not too far from convenience, but away from the tourist crowds and heat. As for amenities, they’re average. One of the rooms came with a Netflix account, while another didn’t, which was a bit inconsistent. Also, setting it up wasn’t the most straightforward — you need to switch between the TV remote and the Xiaomi box remote, which takes a little figuring out. Overall, if you value cleanliness, friendly service, and a calm local atmosphere over being in the middle of the tourist spots, Subanan Resident is a solid choice. Btw the coffee n tea pastries is just a cupcake and milo powder

When I travel to Hatyai, I usually will book this S.C. Heritage Hotel! The vibes are wonderful and also the price is affordable. The location of the hotel is strategic and nearby to the city centre. You can also go to the Hatyai train station easily! This is my favorite hotel and I recommend this hotel too! Check out the view from my room at level 6! (refer to the picture). There's also a limited parking space provided! Overall, the hotel is clean, proper, affordable, accessible and simple! Suitable for family, couple or solo travelers!

Room cleanliness is okay and they give us free upgrade to a room with a window but it's located at level 4 which got no lift. Quite hassle for guess with big luggage and many belongings. And at the receptionist area got some unpleasant smell everytime we passed by.

The Hat Yai Railway Station is also only about an 8-minute walk away, which makes travel super convenient. Rooms here are spacious and comfortable (many guests said the beds are great and some deluxe rooms feel like suites), and there’s even an outdoor pool you can relax in after a day of sightseeing. It’s a solid choice if you care more about a clean, easy stay in the city center rather than luxury. The hotel is not brand new — some guests mentioned it’s a bit dated in places — but for the price you pay and how central it is, it’s still good value for money, especially if you’re planning to shop, eat, or visit night markets nearby. I went to Hat Yai with my friends to participate in the Songkran Festival. The surrounding areas of Lee Garden Plaza are basically booked. This hotel is a bit far from Lee Garden Plaza, but overall it feels clean and refreshing. There are various restaurants and hotels within ten minutes’ walk. It's a coffee shop. I would like to thank the Thai sister at the front desk. My friend left an iPhone in the car with garb. It was this beauty who patiently communicated with the driver in Thai and grab customer service, and got back the phone that was lost for a day👍👍👍

The price, location, cleanliness, layout etc, overall everything is decent and acceptable, location is perfect for me as it's not too near to Lee Garden side which is too crowded, yet it's not far, 3 minutes walk, same with Kim Yong market. Room is decent, with kettle, hairdryer, fridge, tv etc, place for luggage and hanging clothes, also has a balcony, nothing tip-top, just practical and doable, that's all I need, clean and comfy, ac and hot water ok.. For me this is a good place to stay as far as Hatyai is concern.. good budget hotel..

The chalet is really very good: spacious, beautiful, and with an amazing view. It has all the kitchen utensils, although we didn’t use them, and it was extremely clean. I definitely recommend it. The only slightly inconvenient point is the location. The chalet is located at the top of the property, so you need to rely on the reception to arrange transportation to the main area, where the reception and beach access are located. It’s not possible to walk down, as the distance is quite far. For those who rent a motorbike, this isn’t an issue and everything becomes very easy. However, without your own transport, it can be a bit uncomfortable having to depend on the hotel’s shuttle whenever you want to go down to the beach or leave the hotel.

The pool water was very clean, and being on the 7th floor with no obstructions, the view was excellent. The room was super spacious and very clean, with all the sofas and chairs looking brand new. The front desk staff were very friendly during check-in and even offered welcome drinks. The only downside was the breakfast. Although it's served until 10:30 AM, by a little past 9 AM, almost all the food trays were empty. There were only 2-3 trays with a small amount of food left. I walked around and couldn't find anything to eat, which was quite disappointing. Eventually, a staff member brought me a plate of stir-fried rice noodles, which at least filled me up. This was the first time in decades of traveling that I've encountered such a breakfast situation. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfast on the second day was only slightly better, still feeling like leftovers. It's also quite close to the King Power Duty-Free Shop.

Even the buggy driver kindly explained the room facilities and minibar details to us. Our tropical garden view room was clean, comfortable and well-maintained. A special thank you to our room housekeeping for the thoughtful birthday decoration, it truly made my day extra special. Breakfast offered a wide vegetarian-friendly selection with salad bar, cheese, bakery items, and more. I would love to see a bit more variety in the Asian local dishes, as the menu was quite similar each day. Tropical fruits are my favourite in the resort. The resort feels like a one-stop getaway with a beautiful beach and clear water. Have to rent snorkelling gear and I recommend renting wet shoes due to stones and dead coral in the beach area. I had a small injury from the coral, but the beach staff took great care of me. We also enjoyed the small petting zoo, the staffs were very friendly. Overall, the team went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. It’s perfect for anyone looking for relaxation and quiet time, and we would definitely love to return.

The hotel doesn't offer breakfast. 3. For a family of three, there's an extra charge of 150 THB for the child, but no extra bed is provided. 4. I subtly got the feeling that Chinese guests aren't particularly welcome. This is just my personal feeling and for reference only.

We really liked the large, well-maintained grounds, two spacious swimming pools, and its own mini water park with two big slides. This is a fantastic bonus for a hotel, especially if you're traveling with kids or just love pools. The room was always clean, and housekeeping was done daily and thoroughly. The bathroom had all the necessary amenities: shampoo, conditioner, shower gel, and body lotion. Everything was simple but decent and convenient. The location deserves a special mention. Karon Beach is just a few minutes' walk away, and there are plenty of shops, cafes, and everything else you need for your vacation nearby. Early check-in was a pleasant surprise. We were able to check in around 1:00 PM, even though the official check-in time was 3:00 PM. Thanks to the staff for this flexibility. Breakfasts were good: there was enough variety, so you definitely won't go hungry. No extraordinary culinary experiences, but everything was tasty and perfectly decent. The only minor point is that the hotel is very popular and gets quite crowded. During breakfast, it can be quite noisy and busy. Most of the guests are Russian-speaking tourists, so sometimes it feels like a large family resort. Overall, our impressions were very positive. It offers good value for money, comfortable grounds, excellent pools, and a convenient location.

A great hotel for a family vacation. It’s surrounded by beautiful nature, in a safe area with little traffic and no pushy street vendors. The hotel is located within the Laguna complex, which offers a free shuttle service. The only store within walking distance is the modest Top’s, but you can drive to a 7-Eleven. You can get to the beach by boat, but around 8–9 a.m. and in the evening, the boat will be packed with families with children and strollers. You can also walk there; taking it easy, it takes about 8–10 minutes, though part of the way is in the heat. There are plenty of private sun loungers at the beach. However, the front row closest to the sea is taken from early morning. The rooms feature a kitchen, a small living area, and two air conditioners. They come with dishes and cutlery. Housekeeping is provided every other day. The trash disposal system is interesting—it’s done through a special “locker,” so the staff doesn’t need to come into your room to take out the trash. It’s a great system. The hotel’s clientele consists mainly of families with small children and older couples. My family liked the hotel; we’d definitely come back again!

Unfortunately, part of the view also includes some rather neglected surroundings, but the beauty of the ocean largely makes up for it. In terms of services, there are a few shortcomings. The toilet tends to clog easily, and some amenities that are quite standard in many hotels are missing, such as a toothbrush, toothpaste, or disposable slippers. Instead, the hotel provides a beach basket with towels and a pair of plastic flip-flops to use during the stay. However, these flip-flops are not new, and it is unclear whether they are properly sanitized between guests. Overall, it can still be a convenient option for people who work and want to have the sea literally a few steps from their room, with the possibility of reaching the beach in just seconds. That said, some aspects related to maintenance and attention to detail could definitely be improved to make the experience more comfortable.

Excellent, absolutely fantastic! This is my third trip to Phuket, and I've stayed in over a dozen hotels. I can honestly say this might be the one I'll book again next time. I saw a package deal on another platform and I'm already tempted to book it now! The rooms are very new, and the pool is large and beautiful. The only slight drawback is that the breakfast isn't particularly outstanding; it could use more variety. Kata Beach is one of my favorite beaches in Phuket, and there are many great places to eat nearby. The hotel's location is excellent. I highly recommend against staying in Patong. Patong Beach has raw sewage discharging directly into the ocean; it's practically a cesspool, which is truly heartbreaking. I've joined a Phuket environmental protection group. We regularly organize beach cleanups, and I really hope this hotel could organize similar events for guests to participate in, helping us collectively protect the beautiful beaches of Phuket!

However, the soundproofing in the room wasn't great; you could clearly hear conversations in the hallway from inside the room. Service: It was alright. We booked two rooms for two nights. Since we were traveling with a child, we asked for a late check-out on the day we were leaving. The hotel informed us that there would be an additional charge of 2000 Thai Baht for checking out after 2 PM.

In reality, walking to Patong Beach was a bit of a challenge, mainly due to the heat and the difficult path. As a result, I ended up taking a taxi every time I went out, with the starting fare being 300 baht. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a tropical rainforest vibe. Since it's located on a hill, it felt a bit cooler than the beachside. Lounging by the pool was very comfortable, and I was constantly offered snacks. Service was decent. Staff helped with luggage during check-in and check-out, and even in the basic room type, the staff folded towel animals like little crabs. A particular shout-out to the attentive, slender male server at the pool bar – excellent service! Overall, it was good, and I might consider staying here again in the future. P.S. This hotel isn't really family-friendly! I'd say it's more geared towards adults. For example, there was lively music by the pool until 10 PM, and alcohol was sold everywhere.

Let me put it this way: I was curious about Laguna and wanted to explore it, but staying within the resort complex was incredibly inconvenient. The free boat service had no schedule, so we had no idea how to get around. The hotel is so massive that it's easy to get lost, and there are no clear signs to guide you. Also, I'm not sure why, but when I booked, it clearly stated three breakfasts were included, and it turned out to be no breakfast at all. I highly doubt I misread it. The check-in welcome ceremony was excellent though; the young man who assisted me left a fantastic impression! However, the hotel facilities are dated, and the drainage in the bathroom was poor. What I really want to emphasize is that I hope the hotel doesn't just focus on clearing fallen leaves and debris within its own grounds. Please do more to clean the beaches, especially beyond your immediate area, and organize regular beach clean-up activities. You could even involve guests as volunteers. I went out to clean the beach myself this morning. I truly hope the hotel will extend its efforts to protect and regularly clean other beaches, not just its own. During the rainy season, a lot of trash washes ashore, which is a real eyesore and quite upsetting. The natural environment here is undeniably beautiful, but staying here makes it feel very inconvenient to go anywhere. Perhaps it's because we just came from a top-tier hotel in Phuket, The Surin, so there was a slight drop in expectations. Overall, it's still good, and I hope it continues to improve.

There are plenty of shops around so there is actually no need to travel far. The beach is beautiful, however, we were there during the low season and didn't have a chance to enjoy swimming in the sea. The staff was nice and friendly. We had an issue with the room - I booked the quiet one with two beds, but they don't have such option in the wing where we were staying and my family was put in the room with the street view. Apart from loud noise from bikes at night, daytime was accompanied by the sounds from the nearby construction site and I spent first three days with the horrible headache because od the noise. However, the staff was helpful and the issue was resolved. If you need the quiet room, its better to reach the hotel in advance and make sure they have the appropriate rooms.

Environment: The hotel is ideally located with a street full of massage parlors right outside the front door, and direct access to Karon Beach from the back, offering both lively and tranquil options – very convenient. Hygiene: Despite being a sea-view room, there was absolutely no musty smell, which is quite rare and impressive. Facilities: The only downside was the air conditioner or dehumidifier, which made a huge noise on the first night, disrupting my sleep. Then, on the third night, I turned off the lights before sleeping, and woke up to find them on by themselves – it was quite spooky! 😟 Service: Warm and friendly.

The room was big and we were really happy with it. We loved the bed — it was very large and comfortable. We didn’t get to use the swimming pool because we didn’t have much time. The staff were great and excellent overall. We did not request housekeeping on our second day. Someone cleaned the room and thank you for that,but they forgot to replace the bath mat when we returned around 11 PM. I was too tired to ask, so I just let it go. However, I was surprised later when they questioned why the bath mat was missing. I definitely had no plans to take a bath mat with me on my way to Koh Pangan! 😂 the lady who assisted us in checked put were so lovely she just did her job and apologize for asking this and she did a great job.And to the guy who assisted printing my bus ticket thank you so much. The towels also weren’t changed during service and there was no bath mat, but honestly, it was fine with us. Still, being accused of taking the bath mat was a bit insane. 😭

This hotel is a solid all-rounder, with the only downside being its inconvenient location. That deadly steep hill definitely gives your lungs and heart a workout! However, it's quite convenient if you're planning a trip to Koh Racha. Plus, there's a cheap massage parlor right down the hill – 300 baht for an hour of pure bliss. The hotel also has a Let's Relax branch, and I tried both. Thailand should really make 'massages' a UNESCO World Heritage! A 7-Eleven is also within a ten-minute walk, and once you go down the hill and turn the corner, there are plenty of restaurants. I tried two, and both tasted pretty good: one Chinese restaurant with couplets (can't remember the name, but it looked like it was run by Cantonese people) and another with two chefs. I booked a garden view room for 600 baht, which came with a super-sized Jacuzzi. Remember to bring bath bombs if you stay here; it's perfect for a soak with your partner. The Jacuzzi is outdoors, so privacy isn't its strongest suit, but you can always wear a swimsuit. The room itself is quite spacious, with a capsule coffee machine and free water. Mini-bar snacks aren't complimentary. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the room feels very dry and not humid at all. The cleanliness is also quite good. My room wasn't accessible by elevator; I had to walk up a flight of stairs. However, the concierge helped with the luggage, so it wasn't a big issue. The rooftop infinity pool offers a fantastic view overlooking Kata Beach, and there's also a restaurant there. Breakfast is decent, with a different theme every day. The gym equipment is also pretty comprehensive. I didn't encounter any of the discrimination issues I'd heard about online; the staff were all very nice. It's a very modern hotel, and I really liked it. However, it's adults-only and doesn't accommodate children. I think it's perfect for couples, and most of the guests I saw were indeed couples. If I visit Phuket again, I'd definitely consider staying here.

My room was nice and clean, and the hotel is in a perfect location, close to everything in Patong. Unfortunately, I was given a joined room with a locked door connecting to the next room. my stay was completely ruined by the guests next door. They were extremely loud late at night and early in the morning while I was trying to sleep. There was also a strong cigarette smell coming into my room, and even worse, I could clearly hear *** ****** through the wall. I wore earplugs, but they didn’t help at all. I called reception and even banged on the wall to warn them, but they did not quiet down at all. The noise continued and became an absolute nightmare. I barely got any sleep. The room and location are good, but soundproofing is terrible, and noise control by the hotel is very poor. If you’re a light sleeper or value peace and rest, I do not recommend staying here.
