Overall, I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The staff were courteous, the property was clean, and everything else met my expectations. The only downside was that the rooms were quite compact. One suggestion for improvement would be to have a designated smoking area on every floor. Currently, the smoking areas are only on the rooftop and the ground floor. Since my room was located far from the lift, it became a bit inconvenient to travel up or down every time. Adding a smoking area on each floor would make the stay much more comfortable for guests who smoke.

I really loved this hotel; it's a classic Thai-style property. The breakfast was a bit simple, but the funicular ride up the hill was quite interesting. I'd definitely recommend the direct pool access rooms – they're very comfortable and offer sea views. I thought we'd miss the animal feeding due to our schedule, but one morning after breakfast, we went for a walk and the animals were already out. There weren't many people around, and they even gave us two bottles of milk to feed the piglets, which was adorable. The even bigger surprise was beachcombing after the tide went out. I'd suggest bringing a headlamp for safety. The beach was teeming with sea cucumbers, and we caught large crabs, small fish, pufferfish, and more. We released them all in the end, but it was a truly rewarding experience. The kids had a fantastic time, and I highly recommend it!

Today, the hotel staff really infuriated me! They offer a range of activities included in the stay, and one of them is Thai boxing training. My son practices boxing, so this was a priority when choosing the hotel. When we checked in, we were told to come to the lobby at the reception on the designated training day, and they would escort us. We did exactly that – arrived 10 minutes early, announced ourselves, and were told to sit and wait. We waited for 20 minutes, and it turned out the reception staff didn't even know where the training takes place. They tried to send us to the beach, then told us to wait in the lobby even longer. After that, they sent us to the fitness center by local transport, but there was no one there either – the trainer (as other attendees said) hardly ever shows up! We had to return to the reception, and they simply suggested coming another day or signing up for a private session (which I assume is paid)!!! 🔥✊🏻👏👏👏 Bravo!!! They wasted my time and nerves; I could have spent that day doing something else, like going on an excursion! And why is it that when you talk about something good, the staff understands you and some can even speak Russian, but as soon as there's a problem, suddenly nothing is clear!

The resort has 2 pools, and most rooms are pool-access. The price before Chinese New Year was 440 a night, which is decent value for money. It's very close to Rawai Beach, with a 7-Eleven and sea-view restaurants right outside. Now for the downsides: 1. No clothes rack in the room, so no way to wash and dry clothes. 2. The hotel doesn't offer breakfast. 3. For a family of three, there's an extra charge of 150 THB for the child, but no extra bed is provided. 4. I subtly got the feeling that Chinese guests aren't particularly welcome. This is just my personal feeling and for reference only.

A nice little hotel for a rest after a long journey! I chose this hotel with my child so we could quickly get there after a long flight. Our plane landed at 11 PM. By the time you clear passport control, get picked up, and take a shower, it's already 1 AM. This is a good option! The linens are clean cotton! There's hot water! A 7-Eleven and massage place are a leisurely 7-minute walk away. They change the linens, towels, and water every day. We needed two days to recover, and extending our stay was easy. The pool is clean. Breakfast is European style: omelets, sausages, ham, some Thai dish (chicken in sauce), rice, toast, croissants, jams, butter, coffee, tea, cocktails, juices. It's a perfectly good breakfast. The cost is 250 (baht, presumably). Of course, if you're used to staying in luxury hotels and have high demands, you might want to think twice. I've stayed in various categories of hotels, from four-star resorts to beach bungalows. I've been to places where they didn't change the bed linen. Here, it's clean, and the staff are incredibly welcoming and lovely! Everyone is ready to help. Everyone always smiles. Many reviews mention drawbacks, but I won't even discuss those. It's clean, clean, clean, and the staff are as welcoming as can be. It's a good place to rest after traveling, get used to the local vibe a bit, and acclimatize to the warmth! All user photos of the hotel are accurate; I'll add a few more myself :)

I've stayed at this hotel many times, but this was by far the worst experience. I was traveling with my child and, due to a schedule change, I had to book two separate orders for different room types. I explained the situation to the front desk and asked if I could upgrade my room by paying the difference. The front desk lady, seeing the booking, seemed to sense an opportunity to make more money. She then rattled off a bunch of reasons to charge me extra for my child: an extra bed fee, an extra breakfast fee, and a room upgrade fee – totaling 5000 baht for four days! When I checked the app, I realized that for just a few tens of extra bucks, I could have booked a whole new room. The hotel's breakfast fee also shot up from 250 baht to 470 baht per person, with no significant improvement in quality. I really want to ask the hotel, do you have to be so obviously greedy?

If you're staying in the annex building, be careful of the long, steep slope. We saw a guest's luggage slide down from there and hit someone. Please make sure to store your personal belongings safely in your room. Other than that, everything else was good, and the pool was great. The room was spacious enough too. Just remember to run the bath water first to make sure there's no yellow discoloration.

I stayed here ten years ago. Perhaps due to some Chinese superstitions, there weren't many Chinese guests, and breakfast was primarily Western-style. Of course, the room facilities can't compare to newly opened hotels in China, given that this is an established resort. Aside from that, the resort ambiance was fantastic. On the day we checked in, which was my child's birthday, they thoughtfully sent a birthday cake while we were out – a nice little surprise. The hotel is situated in a quiet yet central location in Patong. The pool is huge, offering expansive views directly facing the sea. On clear days, you can watch the sunset from the pool. It's separated from the beach by just a small road, making it very convenient for beach activities or simply relaxing. We stayed in a swim-up room for two nights, which felt more like a private pool. However, with kids, we preferred the main pool, mainly for the better views. We basically spent our days by the pool and evenings at the beach. There's a good massage place and restaurant right by the hotel's main entrance. They're next to each other, and the restaurant, belonging to the neighboring hotel, has a trendy, Instagrammable vibe and is popular with many foreigners. If the hotel breakfast isn't to your liking, you can have brunch there; we ate there several times and also had massages for a few days straight. This trip, we stayed in both Karon and Patong, but next time, I'd only choose Patong – it's much more convenient for going out and exploring.

Our family stayed from September 3rd to 9th, 2026. We booked a loft and ended up on the 6th floor with a view of the road and the mountains. What can I say, the hotel is super! The bed linen was snow-white, and the towels were fluffy, new, with bright yellow ones specifically for the beach. We were there in the off-season, so we had the whole pool to ourselves. The sea was a bit choppy, but we still swam. About 500 meters from the hotel's beach, there's a calm cove with no waves. A boat takes you to the beach, everything is clean, there's a foot shower, and hotel sun loungers. The room was clean, the shower was fresh with no mold or stains, and bottled water was provided. Overall, we are super happy!

A cozy, medium-sized hotel shaped like a cruise ship. The definite highlight of this hotel is the infinity pool on the rooftop, offering a fantastic view of the city and the sea, especially at night. A DJ entertains guests with music by the pool in the evening. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The only downside for me was having a bathtub instead of a shower. The fridge only contained paid bar drinks. You can walk from the hotel to the beach, passing countless cafes, restaurants, massage parlors, and convenience stores along the way. There are several Russian-speaking channels on the TV. The price is reasonable. I recommend it.

I booked the most basic superior room for less than 400 (tax included) per night, for a total of three nights, and it was excellent value for money. The room was quite spacious and had a bathtub. I had emailed them beforehand about our anniversary, and they prepared a lovely swan decoration. I also requested a room with a view of the main pool, and they gave us room 1217, which had a fantastic view – very thoughtful! The omelets at breakfast were delicious, and they changed some dishes daily. The staff were also very kind. The Aurico Kata Resort & Spa hangs Chinese-style lanterns, and the hotel environment is beautiful. There are also some floats available in the pool for use. I would definitely stay at Aurico Kata Resort & Spa again next time I'm in Phuket!

The hotel has buffet breakfast but it has definitely downsized since 2023 so don’t expect much variety. Their food is good for in-room dining and the pools are well-maintained. The cleanliness was definitely the biggest failure in terms of “value for money” considering there is a slimy/sticky residue whenever any sort of moisture meets the floor (coming out of the shower/sweaty from hot weather/coming inside from the balcony bath) and the towels have noticeable stains in them. The bathroom sink only had hot water and the toilet was disgusting - flushing water had a sewage smell. The hotel staff are very helpful and friendly - going beyond to help out. Overall, though, the hotel has a “run down” feeling and an atmosphere of neglect in maintenance. The plumbing in our room (sink & toilet water) could be due to lack of use but it’s still a shame to spend that much money and receive a mediocre room experience.

Overall, the hotel had a calm atmosphere, which I think makes it ideal for those looking to relax during their trip. The service was excellent. The staff kept the building clean, the breakfast buffet team was great and the atmosphere was amazing. The only things I didn’t enjoy was how understaffed the beach bar seemed because we had to constantly ask when our food would be finished because it was taking so long. I assumed it was understaffed in the kitchen. Ask the lobster bruschetta was not actually lobster, but shrimp. Unsure if it’s a language barrier thing or they stopped using lobster for it and just didn’t change the menu to reflect that. It tasted great, but perhaps the price would be different if it was labeled what it actually was. The room was so nice and clean! Cleaning ladies came by daily and every single person working there was unbelievably friendly and kind. I will most definitely go back just for the hotel alone! The hotel close to everything, including many different beaches. One thing to keep in mind, even though the hotel is on a beach front, you can’t swim in that particular beach, but they do have a pool on site! 10/10 🤩

Pool 10/10: The hotel's wrap-around pool is fantastic. First off, the water is very clean; staff are out every morning scooping up fallen leaves. The water doesn't taste overly chlorinated, suggesting frequent changes. The pool is huge, allowing you to swim continuously around it. At 1.3 meters deep, it's friendly for less confident swimmers. The lounge area is also clean, with no bugs or leaves. Room 10/10: Clean, comfortable bedding. Service 6/10: It's off-season now, so the hotel occupancy isn't high. When checking in, I specifically asked not to have a room by the red pool, but they assigned me one anyway. My friend had the same experience when they stayed here previously; it seems they only assign these rooms to Chinese guests. I had to refuse the room before they changed it, which is a definite negative point. Other Services: Hotel staff are friendly and polite.

This hotel's Chinese-speaking front desk staff seems to treat Chinese guests differently. Her attitude towards Chinese tourists and foreign guests is not the same. On the day I was extending my stay, I ran into her on the way back to my room. Thinking she was Chinese, I specifically greeted her, but she completely ignored me. As a hotel service staff member, shouldn't she be the one greeting us first? My wife even commented, 'You greeted her, and she still ignored you.' What's more, just yesterday, we went to the executive lounge for afternoon tea, and I saw her again. Once again, I proactively greeted her. I then observed her squatting down with a big smile, engaging in conversation with a Caucasian lady, which made me very uncomfortable. I find this hard to understand. This Chinese front desk staff has a Beijing accent. Could it be that the high number of Chinese tourists at this hotel makes her feel superior? All the other hotel staff are very polite, smiling, and greeting guests, which I'm very satisfied with.

A true green paradise in the otherwise overly developed and concrete-covered southern part of the island. Resorts like this are becoming increasingly difficult to find in Phuket these days. If you love nature and tranquility, this is the perfect place for you. The breakfasts were excellent. The only thing we missed was some evening entertainment. Apparently, only one bar is open in the evenings, but due to the size of the resort, we never managed to find it. That said, we stayed here in mid-September, so perhaps the atmosphere is livelier during the peak season.

Our stay at the Kata Thani Bhuri Wing's family room was an absolute delightful surprise for our family trip to Phuket – the experience was simply outstanding! The bunk beds, designed like a submarine, were incredibly playful, and the entire wall featured an ocean-themed 3D decoration with dynamic blue lighting, making it feel like stepping into an underwater world. This allowed us to relax and watch shows in the master bedroom while our child played independently, ensuring privacy yet still being able to keep an eye on them. The space was bright and never felt cramped. The most amazing feature was the direct pool access from the balcony! In the evening, we'd put on our swimsuits and step right into the crystal-clear pool from our balcony. The row of macaron-colored resort buildings, outlined by warm lights, and palm tree shadows dancing on the shimmering water, created a truly relaxing atmosphere with the island breeze – even the breeze exuded a sense of laid-back vacation. The bathroom facilities were also thoughtfully designed. The large, standalone bathtub was perfect for soaking away the day's fatigue from looking after the child, and the wet and dry areas were clean and well-separated. All the facilities were new, without any of the wear and tear you'd expect from an older hotel. The hotel's public pool area was incredibly family-friendly, with clearly defined shallow and deep sections, and plenty of lounge chairs and shaded spots everywhere, so we could rest whenever we got tired from playing. The staff would proactively greet the children and offer small cups of iced water, providing thoughtful yet discreet service throughout our stay. This was the first time I felt no fatigue whatsoever during a family trip with my child; it was truly a 'lie flat' parenting experience. We will definitely come back to this family-friendly hotel on our next trip to Phuket, and I highly recommend it to all families vacationing with children!

Since I didn't book a hotel in advance for Chinese New Year, I decided to book this place as the price for a triple room was quite reasonable. The triple room was actually pretty spacious, and having one bed per person was perfect. Location: Overall, the location isn't super convenient. Luckily, we booked private cars and island hopping tours for both days we stayed. Otherwise, there's really nothing around. This place seems quite convenient for going to Phi Phi Island, though, as there's a pier about a kilometer away. I saw many people returning from there in the afternoon. Patong Beach is about 4-5 kilometers away. Environment: They gave us a room facing the street, and it was incredibly noisy. The sound of motorbikes revving was super loud. I tried asking the front desk to change rooms, but it wasn't possible.

The hotel breakfast was incredibly rich and varied, with a wide range of options. It's served until 11 AM, making it perfect for those who want to sleep in and have brunch, or wake up early, take photos and swim at the pool, and then enjoy breakfast. 4. It's an adults-only hotel, which is ideal for guests like me who prefer not to deal with noisy children during their vacation. The entire hotel is very quiet. 5. There's a Let's Relax spa located within the hotel, which is very convenient. Cons: 1. The large slope at the entrance is genuinely steep. I'd read about it in other reviews, but didn't truly grasp it until I saw it (please refer to the attached photos). It's incredibly strenuous, and you definitely can't walk up it with luggage. 2. After going down the slope, it's not far to the beach and 7-Eleven, but it's quite a distance from the commercial area of Kata Beach, making it feel rather secluded. In summary, this hotel is a great choice for those who prefer new facilities, enjoy a quiet hotel stay, and like leisurely beach walks. However, it's not suitable for those who want immediate access to shopping, or prefer a lively nightlife with bars.

The hotel is a bit dated. Although the common areas use central air conditioning, our smaller room had an individual AC unit. It was incredibly noisy, making it hard to sleep, and definitely needs replacing. Breakfast was decent, and the hotel's overall environment was okay. However, try to avoid the side near the corridor, as there's an unfinished building that looks quite eerie. There are two Thai restaurants within a 5-minute walk of the hotel entrance, one to the left and one to the right. The one on the left is better and accepts WeChat Pay, though it charges a 3% service fee. We chose this hotel mainly for its proximity to the airport, as we had a Similan Islands day trip scheduled for the next day. Staying here allowed us to wake up at least an hour later than if we had stayed at beaches like Patong. We also noticed many flight attendants staying at the hotel during breakfast.
