When I was travelling in South Korea, one of the most exciting routes I took was from Seoul to Busan. I still remember how surprised I was! There are actually so many ways to get between these two cities, and each one feels totally different. At first, I thought it would just be a simple train ride, but I quickly realised I had options like the super fast KTX, long-distance buses, even flights, and private taxis. As someone from Malaysia, I found it quite similar to how we travel between KL and Penang~ But in Korea, everything is just more efficient and well-connected.
If you’re planning your own trip, don’t worry. In this guide, I’ll break down all the main transport options from Seoul to Busan, including travel time, cost, and which one actually makes the most sense depending on your budget and travel style.
🚄 Seoul to Busan by KTX Train
If there’s one option I would recommend for most travelers going from Seoul to Busan, it’s definitely the KTX high-speed train. This is the fastest, most convenient, and also the most popular way locals and tourists travel between the two cities. I personally found this option super smooth! No stress with airport check-in, no long waiting time, just board the train and relax while watching Korea’s countryside pass by😁.

I've been to Seoul several times, and this trip I finally got to experience the Westin Josun. The airport bus goes directly to the hotel, and the service was impeccable from the moment I got off the bus until check-out. All the staff spoke excellent English and were proactive in helping with luggage, giving directions, and even making change. The location is also fantastic; I could walk to duty-free shops, Myeongdong, and other places. The nearby BBQ restaurants were also delicious. This hotel is perfectly located! It's just south of Seoul City Hall Square and west of Myeongdong. The subway station is only a few dozen meters from the lobby entrance, and Sejong-daero is right to the west. It's also not far from the major palaces and Namsan, so the location couldn't be better. The staff are very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. While the facilities might feel a bit more compact compared to newly built five-star hotels in China, they are well-maintained and perfectly adequate. Facilities: The hotel is well-equipped. Although it's located halfway up a hill, there's a shuttle bus for tourists to Myeongdong and Hannam-dong, and it's also very convenient to call an Uber or a taxi right outside. If you don't go out, you can easily spend half a day at the hotel's swimming pool and gym during the day, and the lobby bar in the evening has a great ambiance with live music.
Ambiance: The hotel has a very old-money feel. The window views are beautiful, and the colors of the mountain forest change with the seasons, which I imagine would also change one's experience of the hotel. The rooms are very beautiful; I highly recommend a mountain-view room.
Service: The service is exceptionally attentive, breaking away from traditional Korean service. There are staff members at every point, especially in the gym and dining areas, who guide you, so you won't feel lost or confused when you go by yourself.DariAED 1,510

Mondrian Seoul Itaewon was such a great surprise. The design of the hotel is stunning — every corner feels thoughtfully curated and different from the usual hotel experience.
The atmosphere is vibrant yet relaxed, and the overall experience feels very premium without being too formal. Everything from the rooms to the common areas has a cool, modern edge that we really enjoyed.

The lobby is gorgeous and has a great style. The room isn't big, but I found it quite cozy, and it was very quiet at night, so I slept soundly. We booked a twin room, but the two beds were quite small, only about a meter wide each. We had two small children with us, and the front desk charged an extra 200 yuan or so per person per day, which I found quite unreasonable. If they had provided extra towels, toiletries, or even an extra duvet, or a small toy (without being asked), it would have felt like we were getting something for that value. But as it was, there was no difference compared to not paying, especially since even toothbrushes cost extra. As for cleanliness, don't scrutinize the details too much; a germaphobe would have to turn a blind eye. For example, the bathtub felt dirty to the touch, and there was hair wrapped around the faucet, but we probably wouldn't use it anyway, so don't dwell on it too much.DariAED 1,813

Overall, I had a good stay, although I would recommend keeping expectations reasonable for a Novotel.
The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and bright with plenty of natural light. The bed had a good level of firmness, and both the pillows and duvet were very comfortable.
However, I encountered two issues during my stay.
First, there was a problem with the motion-sensor light near the entrance of the room. It was supposed to turn on when someone entered or walked by, but the sensor in my room seemed to malfunction. The light kept turning on by itself even when no one was moving nearby, and this happened dozens of times throughout the night. As someone sensitive to light while sleeping, this was quite disruptive. I contacted the front desk the next morning, and they quickly sent a technician who removed the sensor/light system. I really appreciated how efficiently the staff handled the issue, although unfortunately it had already affected my sleep for the entire night.
Second, the bathroom floor and the area connecting the bathroom to the room were quite slippery when wet. Extra caution may be needed, especially for elderly guests or families with young children.
Before check-in, I received an email informing me that the hotel swimming pool was under maintenance and that guests would need to use the pool at the neighboring Grand Mercure instead. However, during my actual stay, the swimming pool at the 4F Fitness Club was still available for use. The information was therefore somewhat inconsistent, although it did not negatively affect my stay.
I also paid to use the sauna facilities. The area was clean and well maintained. The facilities consisted of one cold bath, one hot bath, and a dry sauna. There was no wet sauna or steam room, and I personally found the dry sauna temperature to be relatively mild. If the sauna is an important part of your stay, you may want to consider whether the facilities meet your expectations before paying the additional fee.
Overall, the room itself was comfortable and spacious, and I was impressed by how quickly the staff responded when I reported the sensor issue. There were a few minor issues with the facilities and communication, but the stay was generally pleasant. A good hotel overall, just don't set your expectations too high.DariAED 756

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Gangnam. We didn't use the subway, so being close to a station wasn't a priority for us. The hotel occupies an entire building, which gives it a complete and self-contained feel. There's also a parking platform, which is very convenient. The hotel service was fantastic across the board – concierge, front desk, and housekeeping were all excellent. The rooms are also quite spacious. The biggest issue is that the rooms are a bit dated; the plain white walls and overall decor feel very old-fashioned, almost like a state-owned hotel from a smaller Chinese city. There's an Olive Young right outside the hotel. The most convenient part is the 6701 airport bus to Incheon, which you can catch right on the main road outside the hotel, and it takes about 50 minutes to get to the airport. While Ctrip shows this hotel opened in 2024, it's likely an older hotel that's been rebranded or renovated. The facilities are a bit dated and the lighting is dim. However, its prime location is a big plus. The sandwiches at the TWO SOME cafe downstairs are delicious. The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the subway and bus stops. You can easily walk to the Hanok village near Changdeokgung Palace, and Gwangjang Market is also very nearby. At the eastern end of the market, there are fruit shops, so you can really indulge in fresh fruit. Downstairs, there's a supermarket that seems to be open all the time, so no matter how late you come back, you can always find something to buy. We were given a room facing north, which offered fantastic views of the mountains and the palace. The downside is that there were former employees striking outside the hotel the entire time. It seems this hotel treats its staff very poorly. The daily room cleaning was also done very late, probably because they laid off so many employees. For these reasons, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
The location, however, is excellent. It's super convenient for getting to major shops in Myeongdong like Olive Young (though a bit far from the duty-free shop). The subway station is right downstairs, and there's also a very large 7-Eleven downstairs with spacious seating for instant noodles. Other stores like GS25 are also nearby, and a 12-story Daiso is just across the street. The hotel doesn't provide disposable dental kits, so you can just buy them directly from Daiso.
Myeongdong Cathedral is right behind the hotel, and there are quite a few historical attractions in the vicinity. Luggage storage is very convenient, and check-in is self-service.DariAED 511

First off, this is a legitimate hotel, not a guesthouse or a self-built inn. It has all the standard hotel amenities. It's definitely a suitable place to stay. Now, regarding the location, don't trust some of the online guides. This area isn't a commercial district or where tourists would typically want to go. It's a wholesale market hub, much like Beijing's Zoo Market or Chengdu's Lotus Pond Market – places that open at night for stocking up and close during the day. Within a two-kilometer radius, there are tens of thousands of tailor shops. Of course, there are some malls that are open during the day, but they're very few, so it's not recommended for tourists to stay here. I chose this place because I was returning to China from Busan, wanted a good night's rest, and needed to go to Gimpo Airport the next day. For everyone else, it's probably best to stick to hotels near Myeongdong; having Lotte Department Store right outside is the way to go. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste; you have to buy them from a vending machine. They really don't offer them at all, unlike other hotels where they might not actively provide them but will give them to you if you ask, like a razor. The two beds are roughly the size you'd find in a student dormitory. The breakfast *looked* like it would be good, but the reality was that it ended at 10 AM, with last entry at 9:30 AM. I went around 8:40 AM, and all that was left was sliced bread, sliced baguette, and instant noodles. As for scrambled eggs, bacon fried rice, which should have been there, I didn't see any – they were gone by at least 8:30 AM, and they didn't restock at all. The small pots for dishes in my pictures were all empty. I only managed to eat four small mushrooms. The hotel description mentioned sausages and other items, but there was absolutely nothing. This hotel is fantastic! To get there, take airport bus 6015 and get off at Namdaemun Station. The hotel is located in the alley directly opposite where you get off. Just cross the road via the underpass, and it's a maximum 10-minute walk. It's also incredibly close to Myeongdong. If you exit the other end of the alley, it's a three-minute walk, and a right turn will lead you to an underground shopping center. From there, you can access Lotte Department Store through several entrances, or keep walking to exit 18 which leads directly to Myeongdong Shopping Street – perfect for avoiding the sun during the day. I highly recommend this hotel; the breakfast is excellent with a self-service ramen machine, and there were many Western guests. They provide disposable slippers and two bottles of mineral water. The room is cleaned, but they don't fold the duvet. Check-in was easy; even with a bit of gesturing and guessing, there were staff who spoke Chinese, though you might not always encounter them. I didn't experience any unfriendliness. This hotel is far superior to the Ibis I stayed at later near Myeongdong. If you're going to Seoul, this hotel is highly recommended for its convenience to attractions and shopping, plus direct airport bus service for your return. The hotel's location is excellent. It's within walking distance to Myeongdong and Gwangjang Market, and both subway and bus stations are very convenient. There are also many convenience stores downstairs like CU, GS25, and 7-Eleven.
Hygiene: Although the hotel is a bit old, it was very comfortable to stay in. The room was quite spacious, with a separate toilet area and even a balcony. It was exceptionally clean. The water dispenser and ice machine in the hallway were a huge plus. What's more, you need to swipe your card not only for the elevator but also for the hallway, and then again to enter your room, which made me feel much safer. The only slight inconvenience was having to stand in the bathtub to shower.
Service: The hotel staff were all incredibly enthusiastic, whether it was during check-in, recommending local eateries, or helping to turn on the iron. Highly recommended!DariAED 583

The room size was just right, not too big, not too small, and it had a balcony with a great view for watching the sunrise – absolutely stunning! I’ve uploaded pictures of the view at different times of the day for everyone’s reference. The transportation is incredibly convenient; there are several subway lines right downstairs to choose from, and as soon as you step out, there are all sorts of dining options. The mall is also right downstairs, making it super easy to buy anything you need! Most importantly, I love to run, and this hotel is very close to Cheonggyecheon Stream, which is a dream come true for running enthusiasts! It's a 5km one-way run, making it 10km round trip! Fantastic! The hotel breakfast was also a highlight; the fried chicken, noodles, and mixed salads were absolutely delicious! Plus, the front desk staff were very friendly. Right across from Lotte Duty-Free and less than a 5-minute walk to Shinsegae Duty-Free, making it incredibly convenient for shopping. Its location is comparable to the Aloft nearby but significantly better than Voco (which requires a bit of a detour). If you're here for serious shopping, this location will definitely save you time and effort.
## Room & Facilities
The room size is similar to Aloft's – both are on the 'compact' side. It's a bit smaller than Voco, so if you have a lot of luggage, you might want to reconsider. The hotel is located within a mixed-use building, so you'll need to go to the 9th-floor lobby for check-in. Waiting for elevators during peak hours can be a bit of a pain. There are free luggage lockers on the 9th floor lobby, which are very convenient to use.
## Service & Details
The service was adequate, neither exceptionally good nor bad. However, there's a noticeable drawback: my Trip.com reservation explicitly requested a 'high floor,' but I was given the 11th floor (guest rooms are on floors 10-18). This compromised both the view and the quietness. I recommend calling ahead to confirm or actively requesting a higher floor upon arrival. The central air conditioning noise from the adjacent building runs 24/7, which somewhat affected my sleep.
## Alternatives
Next door is Ibis. If you're not sensitive to floor level or room size, you could compare prices for the same location and pick whichever is cheaper.
## Summary:
If you're looking for ultimate convenience and don't mind a smaller room or the occasional elevator wait, this place is worth considering. However, if a great view, spacious rooms, or a high-floor experience are important to you, I suggest lowering your expectations or looking elsewhere.DariAED 701

I stayed at this facility at a rock bottom price thanks to trip.com deals...this year, korean hotels are more expensive actually, rightfully so, due to 🚀 tourist interest..let me go back to travelodge dongdaemun...I like the fact that it is an environmentally responsible hotel, but the fact that you have to ask for everything from the reception, even for a long stay, is a nuisance..
As I was out all day, I could not get clean towels for 4 of the 6 days, Noone came for cleaning without being asked...I asked for a make up bed once and that was done but other than that environmental is an excuse to ignore the room altogether....I never ask for daily cleaning w'ever I stay, but this hotel charges 100-130/ daily nowadays, you have to change the towels every two or three days without being asked...this is not good or satisfactory service..my two cents...DariAED 390

This is my second time staying at Hotel Sky Park 3, and I would definitely book again if I visit Korea in the future.
The check-out process was very quick, and the staff were friendly throughout my stay. I even arrived early, and the receptionist kindly helped me check in before the official time, which I really appreciated.
All the staff were polite and always greeted guests when entering and leaving the hotel. The service overall was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable.
If you stay in a room with a window, you can even enjoy a view of Namsan Tower, which is a nice bonus.

This was by far the best service I experienced in Korea. The front desk staff were generally very welcoming, especially the cleaning lady who was incredibly meticulous and thorough. After arriving late at night, I spoke to the front desk, and they brought three new sheets that were noticeably cleaner. We spread them out and slept for the night. The room is nice, and the location is excellent, making it convenient for shopping and dining. The self-service laundry is also great, costing 4000 KRW for washing and 4000 KRW for drying, with an additional 1000 KRW for detergent. The only downside might be the round sink in the bathroom, which tends to splash water onto the floor, making the slippers slippery. I suggest improving this. Everything else was quite good! I chose this hotel again, and it felt like rooms were a bit tight during the summer. This time I booked a king-size room; the bed was quite large, but the room itself was a bit small. In hindsight, the first room I stayed in was the most spacious, even though it didn't have a view.
Aside from the slightly smaller room, everything else was great. The view outside the window was nice too. I'm not sure if it's because I stay here often, but this time they even gave me complimentary chocolates, which was a lovely surprise.
I was very satisfied with the softness of the bed; it was super comfortable to sleep on. The air conditioning in the room was also incredibly powerful; sleeping under the duvet was so refreshing. The room temperature was perfect, to the point where I always had the illusion that it wasn't hot outside, even though Seoul has been scorching recently.
The room cleaning was also very timely and done very well. Overall, I still feel it's a great place, and given its excellent location, I'm thinking I'll probably choose to stay here again next time.DariAED 787

This is the ideal hotel to stay-in in Seoul because it is literally located right at the heart of Myeong-dong everywhere happening. There is a large 7-11 conveniently located just 10 metres away, the start of a night market just another 20 metres away. Cross over to the other side and there's all the luxury shopping (Lotte Deparment Stall) which in my opinion is better than Gangnam. another direction and you will hit Myeongdong shopping main street. Go underneath and there will be a huge underground shopping mall that leads all the way to City Hall main station.
Rooms are very spacious, the gym was excellent and last but not least, the staffs were all very friendly and kind to allow us to check-in early due to available vacant rooms. My family and I will definitely be back here when we comes back to Seoul again.DariAED 1,095

Super convenient location, just steps away from airport limousine bus stop, subway station and right at Myeongdong street itself. The location is fantastic! Although the room was small, the layout was very efficient. I was surprised they even managed to fit a bathtub and had a separate wet/dry area in such a small space – only in Japan/Korea! Plus, if you cut through the Olive Young store next door, you can get to the other side of the street easily. Great location! It's right by Yeomchang Station on Line 9, about 1.5 hours from Incheon Airport. There are plenty of buses too; route 604 goes to Hongdae and Myeongdong. There are lots of restaurants nearby, including a 24-hour soup and rice place perfect for a late-night snack or breakfast. You can also find an all-you-can-eat BBQ for 21,900 KRW right outside Exit 3 of the subway station. There are designated smoking areas at both the front and back entrances. The room was a bit small, but fine for just me. The facilities are a bit old and not very well maintained, but at least you can open the window for some fresh air. Laundry service is available for 3,000 KRW. Overall, it's great value for money, and I'd definitely stay here again.DariAED 254

Location: First time staying in Yeongdeungpo; it's a short walk from the airport limousine bus stop so that was convenient. There's a Starbucks and C U convenience store right outside the hotel. YDP station and Lotte Department Store are a short walk away, though I recommend taking a short bus ride to the Hyundai Department Store. It's also near the Yeouido Hangang Park.
Room: Layout is a little strange as other reviewers have noted, and indeed there's very little space to open your suitcase. I placed mine at the wardrobe area, which meant it was a little difficult to access the clothes I hung up. I liked the two couches against the window.
Toilet: The sink is the first thing you see when you enter the room. I didn't like how the shower and toilet shared a door, and there's no bidet for the toilet. Water pressure and temperature control for both the rain shower and handheld shower were good.
Bed: Fairly comfy, however it was the first time I've ever experienced a creaky hotel bed.
Miscellaneous: Might be a minor thing for most but the room slippers were a joke...the top part was literally paper and difficult to slip on and off because of the way the paper was folded. Fridge was small and not very cold but did its job. Lobby is small and only has one seating area, so it's not a place to chill or wait around long. Here's a recap of my stay at the Seoul Riviera Hotel.
The address is 737 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Even though I booked two months in advance, I ended up booking during a price surge. I paid 4330 KRW for 4 nights, which was basically over 1000 KRW per night. Usually, it's around 500-600 KRW. This time, there were a lot of people in Seoul for concerts, which drove hotel prices up three or four times. The hotel I stayed at last time in Seoul also had its prices hiked by several hundred.
Since there were three of us, I booked a standard room for three, with one double bed and one single bed. The room was relatively small, but it was quite clean, and the hotel staff were all very nice. We stayed for 4 consecutive nights, and it was very quiet, so the overall experience was good.
Here's the transportation information:
The airport bus 6006 goes directly to the hotel. You get off at the Riviera Hotel stop, which is right in front of the hotel entrance. You can enter the hotel directly, no need to walk even a minute, which is excellent.
How to take the airport bus to Incheon Airport? The hotel front desk had two diagrams: one for the airport bus timetable directly to Incheon Airport, and another showing where to catch the bus. From the main hotel entrance, turn right and walk straight to the first crosswalk. Cross the street, and you'll see a Starbucks. The bus stop is right in front of Starbucks, about a 5-minute walk. The entire journey takes less than 2 hours.
The nearest subway station is Cheongdam Station, about a 7-minute walk.
Because the hotel is in Gangnam-gu, close to Apgujeong, we walked to Apgujeong. It took about 20-30 minutes, strolling and looking around. We took a public bus to Hannam-dong, which was also very convenient.
The hotel also seemed to have a hot spring, but we didn't have time to go. There's also a particularly delicious 24-hour Korean restaurant near the hotel.DariAED 375

The room was great, located on the 23rd floor with a stunning lake view. When I booked, I selected a three-person meal option for two adults and one child. The price for a two-person meal and a three-person meal was different at the time of booking. Since my child is 13 years old, exceeding the 12-year age limit, they were not eligible for the free buffet breakfast, and I was asked to pay. We received a room on the 20th (I think) floor with a lovely view of the city. It was clean and well-appointed with space for four suitcases, which was necessary as we prepared to depart Korea with many new purchases. The famous Myeongdong walking street was only a 7-minute walk away, which is a major selling point. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a solo traveler, a pair, or a couple. The hotel has a great location, making it easy to get around the city. The 24/7 front desk was very convenient, and having a WOWPASS machine in the hotel lobby was a huge advantage. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the housekeeping during our stay: when we checked in on July 2, we found that our room had not been properly cleaned. Under the bed, there was a thick layer of dust, cookie crumbs, plastic straws, and used tissues. It was obvious that this area had not been cleaned for a long time.
On the morning of July 3, I went to the front desk, showed the receptionist a video of the issue, and requested housekeeping. The receptionist recorded the video on their own phone, wrote down our room number, and assured us that someone would come to clean the room. However, nobody ever came.
Later, our bed linen was changed earlier than the dates indicated by the receptionist, but the area under the bed was still never cleaned.
After July 4, we requested housekeeping again, including trash removal and fresh towels, but our trash was still not emptied, and our towels were not replaced.
The most disappointing part was not the housekeeping schedule itself, but the fact that we reported a cleanliness issue immediately after check-in, the hotel documented the issue, promised to resolve it, and then failed to provide the requested housekeeping.

Exceeded expectations! This place is perfect for solo travelers. The small room was just right for me – compact but with everything you need, a typical Japanese-style room. Although there's no bathtub in the room, the hotel's public bathhouse (onsen) is fantastic. It's not huge, but it's very clean, and the pool is an artificial hot spring with an elegant ambiance. There's even a sauna! After a soak, you can enjoy a free ice cream, and I noticed they also offer Yakult before 10 AM. The hotel is right next door to the 6703 airport bus stop, super close, just a few steps away. The subway station is a little bit of a walk but totally manageable on foot, and you can find plenty of dining options nearby using a map. This really looks like a resort hotel. The front desk staff's English isn't great, and the location is a bit out of the way – there aren't even any convenience stores or supermarkets nearby. It's quite close to the Dongbusan outlet mall though.
The entire hotel complex is very fancy and huge. The parking lot is massive and luxurious, but there are so many cars... Check-in is on the 10th floor, and there were no bellhops or any signs to guide us.
After checking in, no one told us where our room was, they just gave me a map... It took us half an hour to find it, circling around the hotel. I didn't see any staff during that time, and I was getting pretty annoyed.
The room itself is quite large, but both the room and public areas show clear signs of wear and tear (lots of dirty marks on the walls, poorly maintained).
The view is great though; you can see the ocean from the balcony and even catch the sunrise, although the angle is a bit off :)
What I found most unacceptable was that the body wash/shampoo was just soap. It lathered up incredibly slowly and barely produced any suds. With my normal length but somewhat thick hair, just getting it to lather took me 15 minutes! It seriously prolonged my shower time. A truly awful experience.
If you don't mind these things or bring your own toiletries and just care about the view, then this place is for you – the scenery is unbeatable. But all in all, I don't think it's worth the price. It's a hotel that's all style and no substance.DariAED 943

Overall, I had a good stay. The hotel’s location was excellent—just a short walk to the beach, restaurants, shops, and the subway, which made getting around very convenient.

The moment we stepped into the room, our family of five gasped in amazement! This oceanfront hotel cost less than NT$6,000 per night, yet it accommodated five of us – what an incredible deal!
The room featured two spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed. Beyond the bedrooms, there was an open-plan kitchen and a generous living room. In the evenings, we'd bring back fried chicken and late-night snacks, and the whole family would gather in the living room to chat and eat, truly giving us that holiday vibe.
What captivated me most was the breathtaking, unobstructed sea view. It was so beautiful that we couldn't stop taking photos, whether it was daytime or sunset. Waking up to that stunning ocean view every morning felt incredibly blissful.
And finally, I must highlight the massive bathtub! It's located right outside the living room, allowing you to soak and gaze at the sea simultaneously – pure bliss! Our kids played in it every day and never wanted to get out; it was one of their happiest memories from this trip.

Got to be very careful when booking this hotel particularly. Certain type of rooms doesn't come with bath towel and only face towel. Cleanliness in question since we came across cockroache. Toilet and bath are separate and different corner across the room. Lots of adjustment need to be done since the hotel don't provide towel. Also, tooth brush & paste not included in the package and need to buy from vending machine provided at a few levels.
However, we were accommodated with an upgrade due to intervention from trip.com. I need to thank both trip.com for their quick response and action and the hotel for the free upgrade(due to Cleanliness mentioned above).

Booked 3 double suites with sea view. I thought the hotel was very near the beach and was thus expecting full view of Haeundae Beach. However, the sea and beach were blocked by buildings and were barely visible from the hotel windows. To be fair, the rooms were very big and the location made up for the shortfall. Came with a bedroom and a living area, balcony, washing machine, clothes rack, bathtub and comfortable bed.
Conveniently located in front of Haeundae Station, which was also the meet-up point for our Busan local tour. Egg Drop was just next door. Busan Bada Sand store was right opposite. Walkable to Haeundae Beach and Haeundae Market. Overall, a nice stay .

The location is unbelievably good, right next to Busan Station. It's incredibly convenient for catching the KTX in the morning, practically like staying inside Busan Station itself! You can see in the second picture, Busan Station is on the left, and the hotel is the red sign on the bottom right. It's just a crosswalk away. Throughout my stay, taking the subway was also super easy as it's practically at the doorstep.

We rented a room with a sea view for 3 days. Everything is as in the photo. The room is clean, there were small towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. There was no washing machine, although I saw it in other people's photos. Minus one star for this.
To clean the room, you need to press the ”Cleaning” button at the exit, then they will definitely clean it.
The noise from the trains is slightly audible until 00:00, but since we went to bed late, it did not cause any inconvenience.
There is air conditioning in the room, although the hotel description says that there is none.
We needed two blankets, there was only one in the room. The staff was very friendly, they responded quickly to the request.

The lobby is gorgeous and has a great style. The room isn't big, but I found it quite cozy, and it was very quiet at night, so I slept soundly. We booked a twin room, but the two beds were quite small, only about a meter wide each. We had two small children with us, and the front desk charged an extra 200 yuan or so per person per day, which I found quite unreasonable. If they had provided extra towels, toiletries, or even an extra duvet, or a small toy (without being asked), it would have felt like we were getting something for that value. Overall, I had a good stay, although I would recommend keeping expectations reasonable for a Novotel.
The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and bright with plenty of natural light. The bed had a good level of firmness, and both the pillows and duvet were very comfortable.
However, I encountered two issues during my stay.
First, there was a problem with the motion-sensor light near the entrance of the room. It was supposed to turn on when someone entered or walked by, but the sensor in my room seemed to malfunction. The light kept turning on by itself even when no one was moving nearby, and this happened dozens of times throughout the night. As someone sensitive to light while sleeping, this was quite disruptive. I contacted the front desk the next morning, and they quickly sent a technician who removed the sensor/light system. I really appreciated how efficiently the staff handled the issue, although unfortunately it had already affected my sleep for the entire night.
Second, the bathroom floor and the area connecting the bathroom to the room were quite slippery when wet. Extra caution may be needed, especially for elderly guests or families with young children.
Before check-in, I received an email informing me that the hotel swimming pool was under maintenance and that guests would need to use the pool at the neighboring Grand Mercure instead. However, during my actual stay, the swimming pool at the 4F Fitness Club was still available for use. The information was therefore somewhat inconsistent, although it did not negatively affect my stay.
I also paid to use the sauna facilities. The area was clean and well maintained. The facilities consisted of one cold bath, one hot bath, and a dry sauna. There was no wet sauna or steam room, and I personally found the dry sauna temperature to be relatively mild. If the sauna is an important part of your stay, you may want to consider whether the facilities meet your expectations before paying the additional fee.
Overall, the room itself was comfortable and spacious, and I was impressed by how quickly the staff responded when I reported the sensor issue. There were a few minor issues with the facilities and communication, but the stay was generally pleasant. A good hotel overall, just don't set your expectations too high.DariAED 756

The downside is that there were former employees striking outside the hotel the entire time. It seems this hotel treats its staff very poorly. The daily room cleaning was also done very late, probably because they laid off so many employees. For these reasons, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
The location, however, is excellent. It's super convenient for getting to major shops in Myeongdong like Olive Young (though a bit far from the duty-free shop). The subway station is right downstairs, and there's also a very large 7-Eleven downstairs with spacious seating for instant noodles. Other stores like GS25 are also nearby, and a 12-story Daiso is just across the street. The hotel doesn't provide disposable dental kits, so you can just buy them directly from Daiso.

First off, this is a legitimate hotel, not a guesthouse or a self-built inn. It has all the standard hotel amenities. It's definitely a suitable place to stay. Now, regarding the location, don't trust some of the online guides. This area isn't a commercial district or where tourists would typically want to go. It's a wholesale market hub, much like Beijing's Zoo Market or Chengdu's Lotus Pond Market – places that open at night for stocking up and close during the day. Within a two-kilometer radius, there are tens of thousands of tailor shops. Of course, there are some malls that are open during the day, but they're very few, so it's not recommended for tourists to stay here. I chose this place because I was returning to China from Busan, wanted a good night's rest, and needed to go to Gimpo Airport the next day. For everyone else, it's probably best to stick to hotels near Myeongdong; having Lotte Department Store right outside is the way to go. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste; you have to buy them from a vending machine. They really don't offer them at all, unlike other hotels where they might not actively provide them but will give them to you if you ask, like a razor. The two beds are roughly the size you'd find in a student dormitory. The breakfast *looked* like it would be good, but the reality was that it ended at 10 AM, with last entry at 9:30 AM. I went around 8:40 AM, and all that was left was sliced bread, sliced baguette, and instant noodles. As for scrambled eggs, bacon fried rice, which should have been there, I didn't see any – they were gone by at least 8:30 AM, and they didn't restock at all. The small pots for dishes in my pictures were all empty. I only managed to eat four small mushrooms. The hotel description mentioned sausages and other items, but there was absolutely nothing. This hotel is fantastic! To get there, take airport bus 6015 and get off at Namdaemun Station. The hotel is located in the alley directly opposite where you get off. Just cross the road via the underpass, and it's a maximum 10-minute walk. It's also incredibly close to Myeongdong. If you exit the other end of the alley, it's a three-minute walk, and a right turn will lead you to an underground shopping center. From there, you can access Lotte Department Store through several entrances, or keep walking to exit 18 which leads directly to Myeongdong Shopping Street – perfect for avoiding the sun during the day. I highly recommend this hotel; the breakfast is excellent with a self-service ramen machine, and there were many Western guests. They provide disposable slippers and two bottles of mineral water. The room is cleaned, but they don't fold the duvet. Check-in was easy; even with a bit of gesturing and guessing, there were staff who spoke Chinese, though you might not always encounter them. I didn't experience any unfriendliness. This hotel is far superior to the Ibis I stayed at later near Myeongdong. If you're going to Seoul, this hotel is highly recommended for its convenience to attractions and shopping, plus direct airport bus service for your return. This is my second time staying at Hotel Sky Park 3, and I would definitely book again if I visit Korea in the future.
The check-out process was very quick, and the staff were friendly throughout my stay. I even arrived early, and the receptionist kindly helped me check in before the official time, which I really appreciated.

I chose this hotel again, and it felt like rooms were a bit tight during the summer. This time I booked a king-size room; the bed was quite large, but the room itself was a bit small. In hindsight, the first room I stayed in was the most spacious, even though it didn't have a view.

This is the ideal hotel to stay-in in Seoul because it is literally located right at the heart of Myeong-dong everywhere happening. There is a large 7-11 conveniently located just 10 metres away, the start of a night market just another 20 metres away. Cross over to the other side and there's all the luxury shopping (Lotte Deparment Stall) which in my opinion is better than Gangnam. another direction and you will hit Myeongdong shopping main street. Go underneath and there will be a huge underground shopping mall that leads all the way to City Hall main station.

Location: First time staying in Yeongdeungpo; it's a short walk from the airport limousine bus stop so that was convenient. There's a Starbucks and C U convenience store right outside the hotel. YDP station and Lotte Department Store are a short walk away, though I recommend taking a short bus ride to the Hyundai Department Store. It's also near the Yeouido Hangang Park.
Room: Layout is a little strange as other reviewers have noted, and indeed there's very little space to open your suitcase. I placed mine at the wardrobe area, which meant it was a little difficult to access the clothes I hung up. I liked the two couches against the window.
Toilet: The sink is the first thing you see when you enter the room. I didn't like how the shower and toilet shared a door, and there's no bidet for the toilet. Water pressure and temperature control for both the rain shower and handheld shower were good.
Bed: Fairly comfy, however it was the first time I've ever experienced a creaky hotel bed.
Miscellaneous: Might be a minor thing for most but the room slippers were a joke...the top part was literally paper and difficult to slip on and off because of the way the paper was folded. Fridge was small and not very cold but did its job. Lobby is small and only has one seating area, so it's not a place to chill or wait around long. Here's a recap of my stay at the Seoul Riviera Hotel.
The address is 737 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Even though I booked two months in advance, I ended up booking during a price surge. I paid 4330 KRW for 4 nights, which was basically over 1000 KRW per night. Usually, it's around 500-600 KRW. This time, there were a lot of people in Seoul for concerts, which drove hotel prices up three or four times. The hotel I stayed at last time in Seoul also had its prices hiked by several hundred.
Since there were three of us, I booked a standard room for three, with one double bed and one single bed. The room was relatively small, but it was quite clean, and the hotel staff were all very nice. We stayed for 4 consecutive nights, and it was very quiet, so the overall experience was good.
Here's the transportation information:
The airport bus 6006 goes directly to the hotel. You get off at the Riviera Hotel stop, which is right in front of the hotel entrance. You can enter the hotel directly, no need to walk even a minute, which is excellent.
How to take the airport bus to Incheon Airport? The hotel front desk had two diagrams: one for the airport bus timetable directly to Incheon Airport, and another showing where to catch the bus. Because the hotel is in Gangnam-gu, close to Apgujeong, we walked to Apgujeong. It took about 20-30 minutes, strolling and looking around. We took a public bus to Hannam-dong, which was also very convenient.

We received a room on the 20th (I think) floor with a lovely view of the city. The hotel has a great location, making it easy to get around the city. The 24/7 front desk was very convenient, and having a WOWPASS machine in the hotel lobby was a huge advantage. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the housekeeping during our stay: when we checked in on July 2, we found that our room had not been properly cleaned. Under the bed, there was a thick layer of dust, cookie crumbs, plastic straws, and used tissues. It was obvious that this area had not been cleaned for a long time.
On the morning of July 3, I went to the front desk, showed the receptionist a video of the issue, and requested housekeeping. The receptionist recorded the video on their own phone, wrote down our room number, and assured us that someone would come to clean the room. However, nobody ever came.
Later, our bed linen was changed earlier than the dates indicated by the receptionist, but the area under the bed was still never cleaned.
After July 4, we requested housekeeping again, including trash removal and fresh towels, but our trash was still not emptied, and our towels were not replaced.
The most disappointing part was not the housekeeping schedule itself, but the fact that we reported a cleanliness issue immediately after check-in, the hotel documented the issue, promised to resolve it, and then failed to provide the requested housekeeping.

Exceeded expectations! This place is perfect for solo travelers. The small room was just right for me – compact but with everything you need, a typical Japanese-style room. Although there's no bathtub in the room, the hotel's public bathhouse (onsen) is fantastic. It's not huge, but it's very clean, and the pool is an artificial hot spring with an elegant ambiance. There's even a sauna! After a soak, you can enjoy a free ice cream, and I noticed they also offer Yakult before 10 AM. The hotel is right next door to the 6703 airport bus stop, super close, just a few steps away. The subway station is a little bit of a walk but totally manageable on foot, and you can find plenty of dining options nearby using a map. This really looks like a resort hotel. The front desk staff's English isn't great, and the location is a bit out of the way – there aren't even any convenience stores or supermarkets nearby. It's quite close to the Dongbusan outlet mall though.
The entire hotel complex is very fancy and huge. The parking lot is massive and luxurious, but there are so many cars... Check-in is on the 10th floor, and there were no bellhops or any signs to guide us.
After checking in, no one told us where our room was, they just gave me a map... It took us half an hour to find it, circling around the hotel. I didn't see any staff during that time, and I was getting pretty annoyed.
The room itself is quite large, but both the room and public areas show clear signs of wear and tear (lots of dirty marks on the walls, poorly maintained).
The view is great though; you can see the ocean from the balcony and even catch the sunrise, although the angle is a bit off :)
What I found most unacceptable was that the body wash/shampoo was just soap. It lathered up incredibly slowly and barely produced any suds. With my normal length but somewhat thick hair, just getting it to lather took me 15 minutes! It seriously prolonged my shower time. A truly awful experience.
If you don't mind these things or bring your own toiletries and just care about the view, then this place is for you – the scenery is unbeatable. But all in all, I don't think it's worth the price. It's a hotel that's all style and no substance.DariAED 943

The hotel picked a design on the first floor, so the luggage was placed directly at the stairs. At first, I was a little worried. Later, I contacted the hotel staff and added line. It’s for the swimming pool and the slide. The daughter is super happy. I don’t want to go out for two days. The spare parts are also complete. There is karaoke, but I don’t understand Korean. The moment we stepped into the room, our family of five gasped in amazement! This oceanfront hotel cost less than NT$6,000 per night, yet it accommodated five of us – what an incredible deal!
The room featured two spacious bedrooms, each with a double bed. Beyond the bedrooms, there was an open-plan kitchen and a generous living room. In the evenings, we'd bring back fried chicken and late-night snacks, and the whole family would gather in the living room to chat and eat, truly giving us that holiday vibe.
What captivated me most was the breathtaking, unobstructed sea view. It was so beautiful that we couldn't stop taking photos, whether it was daytime or sunset. Waking up to that stunning ocean view every morning felt incredibly blissful.
And finally, I must highlight the massive bathtub! It's located right outside the living room, allowing you to soak and gaze at the sea simultaneously – pure bliss! Our kids played in it every day and never wanted to get out; it was one of their happiest memories from this trip.

Got to be very careful when booking this hotel particularly. Certain type of rooms doesn't come with bath towel and only face towel. Cleanliness in question since we came across cockroache. Toilet and bath are separate and different corner across the room. Lots of adjustment need to be done since the hotel don't provide towel. Also, tooth brush & paste not included in the package and need to buy from vending machine provided at a few levels.
However, we were accommodated with an upgrade due to intervention from trip.com. I need to thank both trip.com for their quick response and action and the hotel for the free upgrade(due to Cleanliness mentioned above).

Booked 3 double suites with sea view. I thought the hotel was very near the beach and was thus expecting full view of Haeundae Beach. However, the sea and beach were blocked by buildings and were barely visible from the hotel windows. To be fair, the rooms were very big and the location made up for the shortfall. Came with a bedroom and a living area, balcony, washing machine, clothes rack, bathtub and comfortable bed.
Conveniently located in front of Haeundae Station, which was also the meet-up point for our Busan local tour. Egg Drop was just next door. Busan Bada Sand store was right opposite. Walkable to Haeundae Beach and Haeundae Market. Overall, a nice stay .
Note: For those taking the intercity bus from Incheon Airport to the hotel, the bus terminal had relocated further up (at a bus stop instead), so you will need to walk quite a bit to reach the hotel.

The location is unbelievably good, right next to Busan Station. It's incredibly convenient for catching the KTX in the morning, practically like staying inside Busan Station itself! You can see in the second picture, Busan Station is on the left, and the hotel is the red sign on the bottom right. It's just a crosswalk away. Throughout my stay, taking the subway was also super easy as it's practically at the doorstep.
The front desk lady's English was excellent, haha (◍•ᴗ•◍)! She was super friendly, very caring, and welcoming!

We rented a room with a sea view for 3 days. Everything is as in the photo. The room is clean, there were small towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. There was no washing machine, although I saw it in other people's photos. Minus one star for this.
To clean the room, you need to press the ”Cleaning” button at the exit, then they will definitely clean it.
The noise from the trains is slightly audible until 00:00, but since we went to bed late, it did not cause any inconvenience.
There is air conditioning in the room, although the hotel description says that there is none.
We needed two blankets, there was only one in the room. The staff was very friendly, they responded quickly to the request.

Cleanliness & Environment: The hostel is generally quiet, and the cleanliness is excellent – super clean!

However, the hostel consistently sends out emails to guests beforehand with detailed check-in guides and reminders, making the overall check-in process very smooth. Overall, I had a good stay, although I would recommend keeping expectations reasonable for a Novotel.
The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and bright with plenty of natural light. The bed had a good level of firmness, and both the pillows and duvet were very comfortable.
However, I encountered two issues during my stay.
First, there was a problem with the motion-sensor light near the entrance of the room. It was supposed to turn on when someone entered or walked by, but the sensor in my room seemed to malfunction. The light kept turning on by itself even when no one was moving nearby, and this happened dozens of times throughout the night. As someone sensitive to light while sleeping, this was quite disruptive. I contacted the front desk the next morning, and they quickly sent a technician who removed the sensor/light system. I really appreciated how efficiently the staff handled the issue, although unfortunately it had already affected my sleep for the entire night.
Second, the bathroom floor and the area connecting the bathroom to the room were quite slippery when wet. Extra caution may be needed, especially for elderly guests or families with young children.
Before check-in, I received an email informing me that the hotel swimming pool was under maintenance and that guests would need to use the pool at the neighboring Grand Mercure instead. However, during my actual stay, the swimming pool at the 4F Fitness Club was still available for use. The downside is that there were former employees striking outside the hotel the entire time. It seems this hotel treats its staff very poorly. The daily room cleaning was also done very late, probably because they laid off so many employees. For these reasons, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
The location, however, is excellent. It's super convenient for getting to major shops in Myeongdong like Olive Young (though a bit far from the duty-free shop). The subway station is right downstairs, and there's also a very large 7-Eleven downstairs with spacious seating for instant noodles. Other stores like GS25 are also nearby, and a 12-story Daiso is just across the street. The hotel doesn't provide disposable dental kits, so you can just buy them directly from Daiso.

First off, this is a legitimate hotel, not a guesthouse or a self-built inn. It has all the standard hotel amenities. It's definitely a suitable place to stay. Now, regarding the location, don't trust some of the online guides. This area isn't a commercial district or where tourists would typically want to go. It's a wholesale market hub, much like Beijing's Zoo Market or Chengdu's Lotus Pond Market – places that open at night for stocking up and close during the day. Within a two-kilometer radius, there are tens of thousands of tailor shops. Of course, there are some malls that are open during the day, but they're very few, so it's not recommended for tourists to stay here. I chose this place because I was returning to China from Busan, wanted a good night's rest, and needed to go to Gimpo Airport the next day. For everyone else, it's probably best to stick to hotels near Myeongdong; having Lotte Department Store right outside is the way to go. The hotel doesn't provide toothbrushes or toothpaste; you have to buy them from a vending machine. They really don't offer them at all, unlike other hotels where they might not actively provide them but will give them to you if you ask, like a razor. The two beds are roughly the size you'd find in a student dormitory. The breakfast *looked* like it would be good, but the reality was that it ended at 10 AM, with last entry at 9:30 AM. I went around 8:40 AM, and all that was left was sliced bread, sliced baguette, and instant noodles. As for scrambled eggs, bacon fried rice, which should have been there, I didn't see any – they were gone by at least 8:30 AM, and they didn't restock at all. The small pots for dishes in my pictures were all empty. I only managed to eat four small mushrooms. The hotel description mentioned sausages and other items, but there was absolutely nothing. This hotel is fantastic! To get there, take airport bus 6015 and get off at Namdaemun Station. The hotel is located in the alley directly opposite where you get off. Just cross the road via the underpass, and it's a maximum 10-minute walk. It's also incredibly close to Myeongdong. If you exit the other end of the alley, it's a three-minute walk, and a right turn will lead you to an underground shopping center. From there, you can access Lotte Department Store through several entrances, or keep walking to exit 18 which leads directly to Myeongdong Shopping Street – perfect for avoiding the sun during the day. I highly recommend this hotel; the breakfast is excellent with a self-service ramen machine, and there were many Western guests. They provide disposable slippers and two bottles of mineral water. The room is cleaned, but they don't fold the duvet. Check-in was easy; even with a bit of gesturing and guessing, there were staff who spoke Chinese, though you might not always encounter them. I didn't experience any unfriendliness. This hotel is far superior to the Ibis I stayed at later near Myeongdong. This is my second time staying at Hotel Sky Park 3, and I would definitely book again if I visit Korea in the future.
The check-out process was very quick, and the staff were friendly throughout my stay. I even arrived early, and the receptionist kindly helped me check in before the official time, which I really appreciated.
All the staff were polite and always greeted guests when entering and leaving the hotel. The service overall was excellent. The room was very clean and comfortable.

I chose this hotel again, and it felt like rooms were a bit tight during the summer. This time I booked a king-size room; the bed was quite large, but the room itself was a bit small. In hindsight, the first room I stayed in was the most spacious, even though it didn't have a view.
Aside from the slightly smaller room, everything else was great. The view outside the window was nice too. I'm not sure if it's because I stay here often, but this time they even gave me complimentary chocolates, which was a lovely surprise.
I was very satisfied with the softness of the bed; it was super comfortable to sleep on. The air conditioning in the room was also incredibly powerful; sleeping under the duvet was so refreshing. The room temperature was perfect, to the point where I always had the illusion that it wasn't hot outside, even though Seoul has been scorching recently.

This is the ideal hotel to stay-in in Seoul because it is literally located right at the heart of Myeong-dong everywhere happening. There is a large 7-11 conveniently located just 10 metres away, the start of a night market just another 20 metres away. Cross over to the other side and there's all the luxury shopping (Lotte Deparment Stall) which in my opinion is better than Gangnam. another direction and you will hit Myeongdong shopping main street. Location: First time staying in Yeongdeungpo; it's a short walk from the airport limousine bus stop so that was convenient. There's a Starbucks and C U convenience store right outside the hotel. YDP station and Lotte Department Store are a short walk away, though I recommend taking a short bus ride to the Hyundai Department Store. It's also near the Yeouido Hangang Park.
Room: Layout is a little strange as other reviewers have noted, and indeed there's very little space to open your suitcase. I placed mine at the wardrobe area, which meant it was a little difficult to access the clothes I hung up. I liked the two couches against the window.
Toilet: The sink is the first thing you see when you enter the room. I didn't like how the shower and toilet shared a door, and there's no bidet for the toilet. Water pressure and temperature control for both the rain shower and handheld shower were good.
Bed: Fairly comfy, however it was the first time I've ever experienced a creaky hotel bed.
Miscellaneous: Might be a minor thing for most but the room slippers were a joke...the top part was literally paper and difficult to slip on and off because of the way the paper was folded. Fridge was small and not very cold but did its job. Lobby is small and only has one seating area, so it's not a place to chill or wait around long. Here's a recap of my stay at the Seoul Riviera Hotel.
The address is 737 Yeongdong-daero, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. Even though I booked two months in advance, I ended up booking during a price surge. I paid 4330 KRW for 4 nights, which was basically over 1000 KRW per night. Usually, it's around 500-600 KRW. This time, there were a lot of people in Seoul for concerts, which drove hotel prices up three or four times. The hotel I stayed at last time in Seoul also had its prices hiked by several hundred.
Since there were three of us, I booked a standard room for three, with one double bed and one single bed. The room was relatively small, but it was quite clean, and the hotel staff were all very nice. We stayed for 4 consecutive nights, and it was very quiet, so the overall experience was good.
Here's the transportation information:
The airport bus 6006 goes directly to the hotel. You get off at the Riviera Hotel stop, which is right in front of the hotel entrance. You can enter the hotel directly, no need to walk even a minute, which is excellent.
How to take the airport bus to Incheon Airport? The hotel front desk had two diagrams: one for the airport bus timetable directly to Incheon Airport, and another showing where to catch the bus. From the main hotel entrance, turn right and walk straight to the first crosswalk. Cross the street, and you'll see a Starbucks. The bus stop is right in front of Starbucks, about a 5-minute walk. The entire journey takes less than 2 hours.
The nearest subway station is Cheongdam Station, about a 7-minute walk.
Because the hotel is in Gangnam-gu, close to Apgujeong, we walked to Apgujeong. It took about 20-30 minutes, strolling and looking around. We took a public bus to Hannam-dong, which was also very convenient.
The hotel also seemed to have a hot spring, but we didn't have time to go. There's also a particularly delicious 24-hour Korean restaurant near the hotel.DariAED 375

I stayed at the Four Points by Sheraton Josun, Seoul Myeongdong for one night before flying out of ICN. My only requirement was that the hotel have easy access to the airport limousine route. We trekked the extra 10 minutes in the morning with our luggage, which was less than ideal, but ultimately worked out fine. The hotel was easy to access, tucked into a quiet corner of Myeongdong. While we arrived quite late in the evening, the staff was glad to receive us. The check-in instructions were simple and easy. We received a room on the 20th (I think) floor with a lovely view of the city. It was clean and well-appointed with space for four suitcases, which was necessary as we prepared to depart Korea with many new purchases. The famous Myeongdong walking street was only a 7-minute walk away, which is a major selling point. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a solo traveler, a pair, or a couple. The hotel has a great location, making it easy to get around the city. The 24/7 front desk was very convenient, and having a WOWPASS machine in the hotel lobby was a huge advantage. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the housekeeping during our stay: when we checked in on July 2, we found that our room had not been properly cleaned. Under the bed, there was a thick layer of dust, cookie crumbs, plastic straws, and used tissues. It was obvious that this area had not been cleaned for a long time.
On the morning of July 3, I went to the front desk, showed the receptionist a video of the issue, and requested housekeeping. The receptionist recorded the video on their own phone, wrote down our room number, and assured us that someone would come to clean the room. However, nobody ever came.
Later, our bed linen was changed earlier than the dates indicated by the receptionist, but the area under the bed was still never cleaned.
After July 4, we requested housekeeping again, including trash removal and fresh towels, but our trash was still not emptied, and our towels were not replaced.
The most disappointing part was not the housekeeping schedule itself, but the fact that we reported a cleanliness issue immediately after check-in, the hotel documented the issue, promised to resolve it, and then failed to provide the requested housekeeping.

Exceeded expectations! This place is perfect for solo travelers. The small room was just right for me – compact but with everything you need, a typical Japanese-style room. Although there's no bathtub in the room, the hotel's public bathhouse (onsen) is fantastic. It's not huge, but it's very clean, and the pool is an artificial hot spring with an elegant ambiance. There's even a sauna! After a soak, you can enjoy a free ice cream, and I noticed they also offer Yakult before 10 AM. The hotel is right next door to the 6703 airport bus stop, super close, just a few steps away. The subway station is a little bit of a walk but totally manageable on foot, and you can find plenty of dining options nearby using a map. This really looks like a resort hotel. The front desk staff's English isn't great, and the location is a bit out of the way – there aren't even any convenience stores or supermarkets nearby. It's quite close to the Dongbusan outlet mall though.
The entire hotel complex is very fancy and huge. The parking lot is massive and luxurious, but there are so many cars... Check-in is on the 10th floor, and there were no bellhops or any signs to guide us.
After checking in, no one told us where our room was, they just gave me a map... It took us half an hour to find it, circling around the hotel. I didn't see any staff during that time, and I was getting pretty annoyed.
The room itself is quite large, but both the room and public areas show clear signs of wear and tear (lots of dirty marks on the walls, poorly maintained).
The view is great though; you can see the ocean from the balcony and even catch the sunrise, although the angle is a bit off :)
What I found most unacceptable was that the body wash/shampoo was just soap. It lathered up incredibly slowly and barely produced any suds. With my normal length but somewhat thick hair, just getting it to lather took me 15 minutes! It seriously prolonged my shower time. A truly awful experience.
If you don't mind these things or bring your own toiletries and just care about the view, then this place is for you – the scenery is unbeatable. But all in all, I don't think it's worth the price. It's a hotel that's all style and no substance.DariAED 943

In the evenings, we'd bring back fried chicken and late-night snacks, and the whole family would gather in the living room to chat and eat, truly giving us that holiday vibe.
What captivated me most was the breathtaking, unobstructed sea view. It was so beautiful that we couldn't stop taking photos, whether it was daytime or sunset. Waking up to that stunning ocean view every morning felt incredibly blissful.

Got to be very careful when booking this hotel particularly. Certain type of rooms doesn't come with bath towel and only face towel. Cleanliness in question since we came across cockroache. Toilet and bath are separate and different corner across the room. Lots of adjustment need to be done since the hotel don't provide towel. Also, tooth brush & paste not included in the package and need to buy from vending machine provided at a few levels.
However, we were accommodated with an upgrade due to intervention from trip.com. I need to thank both trip.com for their quick response and action and the hotel for the free upgrade(due to Cleanliness mentioned above).

Booked 3 double suites with sea view. I thought the hotel was very near the beach and was thus expecting full view of Haeundae Beach. However, the sea and beach were blocked by buildings and were barely visible from the hotel windows. To be fair, the rooms were very big and the location made up for the shortfall. Came with a bedroom and a living area, balcony, washing machine, clothes rack, bathtub and comfortable bed.
Conveniently located in front of Haeundae Station, which was also the meet-up point for our Busan local tour. Egg Drop was just next door. Busan Bada Sand store was right opposite. Walkable to Haeundae Beach and Haeundae Market. Overall, a nice stay .
Note: For those taking the intercity bus from Incheon Airport to the hotel, the bus terminal had relocated further up (at a bus stop instead), so you will need to walk quite a bit to reach the hotel.

The location is unbelievably good, right next to Busan Station. It's incredibly convenient for catching the KTX in the morning, practically like staying inside Busan Station itself! You can see in the second picture, Busan Station is on the left, and the hotel is the red sign on the bottom right. It's just a crosswalk away. Throughout my stay, taking the subway was also super easy as it's practically at the doorstep.
The front desk lady's English was excellent, haha (◍•ᴗ•◍)! She was super friendly, very caring, and welcoming!
The bed felt quite comfortable, and I slept well.
There's a front desk area where you can cook and make instant noodles yourself.
However, I noticed the lady at the front desk had a bit of a tough time with waste sorting, so I hope the hotel can add more clear waste sorting signs (foreigners really struggle with Korea's waste sorting system 🥹). We had a wonderful stay at Hotel TT Seomyeon. The hotel is in a great location, with easy access to Seomyeon Station, shopping streets, restaurants, cafés, and convenience stores. It made exploring Busan very convenient.
The room was clean, modern, and comfortable, with a very comfortable bed and all the amenities we needed. Housekeeping maintained the room well throughout our stay, and we appreciated the quiet atmosphere for a good night’s sleep.
The hotel staff were friendly, courteous, and efficient. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the staff were always willing to assist with any questions or requests.
The facilities were well maintained, including reliable Wi-Fi, guest laundry facilities, and convenient on-site parking. The hotel offered excellent value for money, combining comfort, cleanliness, and a fantastic location.

The best thing about this hotel is its proximity to Busan Station, just a 5-minute walk after you exit. The hotel feels a bit like a converted residential building. The room was quite spacious, which was nice as I could spread out my luggage. However, there were some strange things. My room had a fake window, which was odd and faced the bed. Facilities: There's a gym available, and you can pay extra for breakfast and lunch. The lunch here is surprisingly good and much more cost-effective than eating out, especially compared to a BBQ meal. The entire hotel looks very new and fresh, making it a pleasant stay.
Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy, which made for a very comfortable experience. It's a bit far from the city center, but that has its advantages – it's incredibly quiet, perfect for a business trip. There are plenty of food options nearby; you can find everything just by walking around downstairs. I only had BBQ once in four days, but I explored the area multiple times.

This hotel boasts an incredibly convenient and prime location. It's super close to the subway station, roughly 200 meters away, and just across the street is the beach! We rented a room with a sea view for 3 days. Everything is as in the photo. The room is clean, there were small towels, shampoo, conditioner and soap. There was no washing machine, although I saw it in other people's photos. Minus one star for this.
To clean the room, you need to press the ”Cleaning” button at the exit, then they will definitely clean it.
The noise from the trains is slightly audible until 00:00, but since we went to bed late, it did not cause any inconvenience.
There is air conditioning in the room, although the hotel description says that there is none.
We needed two blankets, there was only one in the room. The staff was very friendly, they responded quickly to the request.

I was told check-in was from 6 PM, so I dropped off my suitcase and went out. It's behind the Lotte Hotel, and it wasn't dark even at night. The wall-mounted air conditioner's switch, whether on heat or off, seemed to only blow air, so the fan was always on. Apparently, it's a central control type operated by the front desk. I was worried about dryness and thought my throat might get sore, so I slept with a mask on. Since it was an ondol (heated floor) room, it wasn't cold when I slept. The room was super BIG and the bed was comfortable. Overall the place is quite well maintained. There were many food choices just downstairs and across the street. But it is not near any train station so it will be better to book an uber. There was a really nice pork katsu restaurant just right downstairs, the food was fantastic. As my train was later in the afternoon, I hv requested for a later checkout or to leave my luggage for a couple of hrs. This was rejected by the host. I took my daughter to Busan late at night and hurriedly booked a hotel. Although it was already more than 10 o'clock in the evening, please help me to check in.

Ease of Check-in: This hostel is conveniently located in Nampo-dong, close to Busan Station, making transportation very easy. Even arriving at Busan Station around 1 AM on check-in day, there was still a bus to the hostel, and there are direct airport buses nearby. The surrounding Nampo-dong commercial district offers super convenient options for dining, entertainment, and shopping.
Security: There's a dedicated area for female guests, requiring key card access for entry and exit. Rooms also have lockers with locks.
Facilities: I booked a 5-person room. Although not large, the room was very clean and bright. The beds had curtains, and the bedding was comfortable. There were plenty of power outlets and good lighting by the bed. While the hostel isn't huge, it's very cozy. The toilets and showers are quite spacious. Free breakfast is provided (it's simple, and you need to prepare it yourself). The kitchen is well-equipped with cutlery and cooking utensils. The water dispenser even has an ice-making function.
Cleanliness & Environment: The hostel is generally quiet, and the cleanliness is excellent – super clean!
Service: Most accommodations in Korea operate with self-check-in, and this hostel doesn't have a 24-hour front desk. However, the hostel consistently sends out emails to guests beforehand with detailed check-in guides and reminders, making the overall check-in process very smooth. The room key card also feels high-quality.

The location is great. Close to Lotte mall and lots of Korean BBqs and eateries. 7/11 right down underneath the hotel. It was a bit dark and grim inside the hotel and our pillowcases were dirty when we arrived. Room was cleaned each day though - only ever saw one lady cleaning. Shower was hot and had good pressure.
Unsure if it was a red light district area as there seem to be lots of women handing flyers out every night to the ‘dancing karaoke’ and men dressed in suits on every second corner from late evening.
Wasn’t the worst but not the best. Don’t think I’d stay here again. Quite far away from beaches and the ‘touristy’ places to visit.DariAED 138
