There's construction on one side of the hotel, and the old windows don't close properly, so diesel fumes from the crane wafted directly into the bedroom. Not to mention the noise from the building work – imagine driving a car without air conditioning, stuck behind a diesel truck constantly spewing exhaust fumes. The result? A headache that required painkillers. Luckily, Trip.com was great and got me a room change. The mattress is very soft, so if you prefer lumbar support, you should reconsider. The family with kids next door was very noisy, and the front desk promptly moved me to another room. The transportation is very convenient, with the MRT station just a two-minute walk away. The hotel lobby is like an MRT platform, bustling with people – from young to old, student groups to limping seniors, all attending some event. It's the opposite of quiet. If you enjoy crowded fairs, you might like the lively atmosphere. Even checking in took about 10 minutes.

Walk out main entrance of hotel u turn right there is a a shop called Taiwan CLM self made bag. Good quality and reasonable price . Food wise lot of choices nearby and round the corner You be spoilt for choices . Front counter manager Joshua is upcoming and also friendly . Minor incident happened and they admit their issue. This is very good that show the hotel has high standard of taking care of client item. Any damages they inform . Hotel is usually packed so do take note if you wish to ask for late checkout sometime is difficult .

One of the most iconic hotel in Taiwan, especially the Grand Hotel - Taipei, elegant deco all the way from lobby to the room. The Grand Hotel didn't disappoint us, whether the facility, hospitality, entertainment, foods and scenic/view from hotel. Everything was excellent, hotel also have shuttle to nearby MRT station every 30 mins, both driver & staffs were very friendly and helpful. We also did the tour to west gate secret passage, the guide has lot of knowledge about the history and explained the background, history of how the Grand become today's The Grand hotel. We tried two of the restaurants on ground floor next to the lobby, they were both very nice & gave all flavors Taiwan has to offer. We would stay here again next time if we visit again & highly recommend for anyone to try at least once in your lifetime.

This hotel is a good location if you are coming to watch concert given that Taipei arena is right opposite within 1 traffic light away. I’m surprised and happy that they allowed us to check in early and we did it via self service check in kiosk. Hotel location is easy accessible within nearby metro and is also 2 station away from Songshan if you need to take a TRA to 九份. Surrounding with breeze mall and ikea right beside it and the best of all 7-11 mart is right in level 1 within the hotel without having you to walk all the way out if you need last minute supper or drinks. As this is an eco friendly hotel, hence no mineral water is given but flasks are provided to fill water via their water dispenser near the lift lobby and not to forget their coffee are provided in capsule with coffee machine instead of packet. Overall, I’m very pleased with the service, cleanliness, big room and hotel location. 😁

From the moment I arrived, the service was warm and attentive. The lobby is beautiful and welcoming, and the staff always greeted me with a smile. My room was spacious, very clean, and well-designed, with a comfortable bed and a great view of Taipei 101. Housekeeping kept everything spotless during my stay. Breakfast was another highlight—the buffet had a wide variety of delicious choices, both Western and Asian, and everything was fresh. I also appreciated the hotel facilities, especially the gym and pool, which were well maintained. Overall, I highly recommend the Grand Hyatt Taipei for anyone visiting the city. It truly delivers a luxury experience with comfort, excellent service, and perfect location. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei.

Staff are polite and pleasant, the dried tomatoes at L5 is good. 😊 only hair dryer, handwash, body wash and 2in1 shampoo/conditioner provided in room so be sure so bring your other toiletries if you need! Pros 😊 - fuss free check in (room was ready ahead of check in time so recep let us in) - water dispenser avail (don’t have to buy your water) and 2 bottles in room daily - small area at L5 for you to relax at with some snacks and drinks (great if you’re having a late flight and need somewhere to rest after checking out, or if you arrive early before check in) - easy walk to xmd - bus stop outside with buses that gets you to most places Cons 😞 - poor sound proofing (can hear kids running down the rooms, people chatting outside, opening/closing of doors) - room not super conducive for light sleepers. E.g there is gap between the pelmet and curtain so once the sun rises, the light will shine into the room, your room will not be in the complete black-out state. Can bring an eye mask to help with this! - very basic room amenities. - slightly steep price given how basic and no-frills this hotel is.

However, being located in the basement made the room feel a bit dark, and the bathroom facilities could be more modern, as the toilet was not a washlet. The breakfast offered was quite limited, and the service left something to be desired. While the staff were present, they did not proactively check on guests or offer assistance, and there was little interaction or friendliness. Simple gestures like greetings, smiles, or help with luggage were missing, which made the overall experience feel less welcoming. Additionally, during breakfast, food was cleared promptly at the set time without asking if guests were still eating or wanted more, which could have been handled more thoughtfully. On the positive side, the hotel provides the essentials for a short stay, and the rooms are quiet and functional. I had a wonderful stay at Taipei Fullerton South Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and always ready to help. The room was spotless, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, with thoughtful amenities that made me feel right at home. The location was perfect — close to public transport, shops, and great local food spots. Breakfast was delicious with a nice variety of options. Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Taipei!

❌: Most rediculous hotel. TV doesn’t work, room feels mody, and there has no gym (not the end of the world but I am simply shocked!) . The staff not 5 star standard but very accommodating. ⭕️: staff are very friendly, there’s B&O audio love it! Great shower, location is good (may not apply to everyone but I like the quietnesses.

Service was top tier! Every single personnel or staff in this hotel were very accommodating and friendly. The amenities were more than what we needed. And we got upgraded into Fabulous room and the view was beautiful. The interior of the room is my favorite. I loved my time here in W. The pool though honestly was a bit cold for me. They probably dont use their pool heater much but i enjoyed more in their sauna, jacuzzi and steam room.

This is my second time back at the hotel and I can 100% confirm this is one of the best value for money hotel with everything I love! From great buffet breakfast, amazing staffs and service to their clean rooms, sauna, steam room and hot spring! There are even snacks and cold drinks in the rooms that are for free! I know that this will be my number choice with regards to a well-rounded hotel to stay in whenever I visit Taipei!

I've stayed here multiple times. The location is excellent, right next to Ningxia Night Market, and less than a 10-minute walk from Dihua Street and Zhongshan Shuanglian MRT Station. The rooms, though small, are clean and aesthetically pleasing. In previous stays, the soundproofing was acceptable, but this time, the guests across and next to us were a group of 'aunties' and 'uncles' who loved to leave their doors open and chat loudly until midnight, then woke us up again at 6 AM. I couldn't help but ask them if they could close their doors when talking, and they agreed, but then started again shortly after. I was speechless 😓. I understand this isn't something the hotel can control, and I can only blame my bad luck. However, perhaps the hotel could remind guests to keep quiet after 10 PM.

I only stayed here for one night, but overall it was a surprisingly nice experience. Personnel is really nice and welcoming, the room is well equipped, the bed is comfortable. The metro station and Shillin Night Market is really close, and everything else you might need. A minor issue is that I stayed here in March and it was quite chilly in the room, but overall great value for money!

I absolutely loved my stay at Hotel Okura! I was surprised to get a room upgrade, which made the experience even more special. The service was top-notch. Every staff member was attentive, warm, and professional. The location couldn’t be better, with easy access to the MRT, shopping malls, and a really lovely neighborhood to explore. On top of that, the hotel itself is so luxurious. Highly recommended. I’ll be staying here again when I go back to Taipei.

The hotel is right next to Taipei Main Station (Exit M3), just a 1-minute walk away. The décor has a slightly vintage style, but the services are excellent. Each room comes with a personal AI box where you can check promotions, food spots, transportation info, or even play music. We also received coffee vouchers that can be redeemed at the 17 Café on the first floor , the coffee was great. The room is compact but comfortable and clean. Adjusting the hot and cold water, as well as the A/C, can be a bit tricky, but it’s not a big issue. There are convenience stores right next to the hotel, both 7-Eleven and FamilyMart. Highly recommended for travelers looking for a hotel just a short walk from the station.
