I stay at this hotel almost every month, but this time was definitely one of my worst experiences. Issue 1: The key card system for the elevators and room doors is a problem. ## Facilities
1. As an established five-star hotel, I was pleased to find that the shower wasn't the kind where you have to stand in a bathtub, which I often encountered during previous stays in Hong Kong.

3. There's a luggage rack in the room, which saves you from bending over to access your suitcase.

1. The location is excellent, near the Tsim Sha Tsui East MTR Exit P2 and close to the Shangri-La Hotel. I feel this hotel offers better value for money. From my room, 719, I could look down and see the dining area on the 3rd floor, which was quite interesting and cleverly designed.
2. It's also close to the Hong Kong Museum of History, Hong Kong Science Museum, and Victoria Harbour.

The service was excellent. The doorman promptly opened the door, the front desk attendant spoke fluent Mandarin, the concierge was enthusiastic, and the ladies maintaining the restrooms in the 3rd-floor common area were all very kind.

1. The airport departure hall: Free, but no place to lie down, too bright, and would be noisy in the morning – definitely wouldn't get good sleep.
2. Plaza Premium Lounge: No recliners, only seats. Offers 24-hour hot water and food, but for four people, an overnight stay isn't cheap (online prices varied from tens to hundreds of RMB per person), and showering costs extra.

I highly recommend the Kimberly Hotel Hong Kong as accommodation for your travels. I especially suggest choosing one of their newly renovated rooms – it's really great value for money. First off, the hotel's location is excellent; it's super convenient whether you're coming from the airport via the A21 bus or by MTR. Secondly, there are plenty of delicious restaurants nearby, and the shopping malls are great for browsing. It's also very close to Victoria Harbour and duty-free shops. This hotel is just right for solo travelers. It's super easy to get to – just exit A1 from Sai Ying Pun Station, turn right, and it's a short walk away.

My only complaints are the long wait for the elevator in the morning and the non-functioning refrigerator in the room; these definitely need improvement.
Aside from that, everything else was fine. The front desk staff were very helpful, and check-in was quick. Plus, there was no deposit required, which made everything very smooth.
The location is excellent for sightseeing. It's conveniently located with easy access to Central and Tsim Sha Tsui via subway and bus, making it perfect for a few days of touring. There are also plenty of restaurants, a 7-Eleven, and a Wellcome supermarket right near the hotel.
I highly recommend the night view from Sun Yat Sen Memorial Park, which is about a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. It was incredibly beautiful, and since there weren't many people, it felt like a hidden gem for night views.DariRM264

Stayed here on the way back from Guangzhou. Excellent location, just a 15-minute walk from Hong Kong West Kowloon Station.
The check-in staff was wonderful—the lady noticed I was Japanese and kindly switched to Japanese to help me. That small gesture made me feel so welcome! I was also lucky to get a free upgrade because the 5th floor was newly renovated.
The room was great, with a well-equipped bathroom, a large mirror, an electric kettle, and USB ports for charging devices. Just keep in mind that due to local regulations, hotels no longer provide free bottled water, so you'll need to buy it beforehand. The room had a nice view of the cityscape, mountains, and a glimpse of the sea.
It’s only a 5-minute walk to Austin Station, and there are tons of restaurants nearby. Highly recommended!
電車で広州に行った帰りに宿泊。終着駅の香港西九龍駅から歩いて15分くらいの超便利な立地。チェックインカウンターでは英語で受付を始めたが、担当してくれた女性が「私日本語話せますよ」と一言かけて下さった。なんとありがたい！チェックインの英語は練習したとはいえ、母国語で対応して頂けるならそちらの方が断然嬉しい。こういう小さな一言が大きなサービスである。予約した部屋はシティビスタキングサイズベッドルームだったが、5階が新装オープンしたばかりなようで、無料グレードアップしてくださった。ユニットバスにはアメニティはもちろん装備されていて、大きな鏡がついているので大変便利。備え付けの湯沸かし器でお湯を沸かしてコーヒーやお茶を入れることも可能。ただ条例により、ホテルではペットボトル水の無料サービスは廃止になっているので、外で買う必要がある。机には大きなテレビと鏡があり、コンセントも２つついている。充電器がなくてもUSBケーブルがあればスマホやPCの充電は可能。海からちょっと離れているが、カーテンを開けると朝日に眩しい街並みの向こうに山々と海がかすかに見える。帰りはオースティン駅まで歩いて5分ほど。近くには飲食店が大小問わず沢山あるので事欠かない。DariRM412

Our stay at The Emperor Hotel Causeway Bay in Hong Kong was absolutely fantastic! As soon as my daughter walked in, she said she loved it. I immediately started taking photos and posted on social media about how wonderful and elegant this hotel is. We were on the 29th floor, and the large window offered stunning views of Victoria Harbour. The ceilings are high, and they provided toothbrushes, soap, coffee, and tea. On the second day, we even received a complimentary bottle of mineral water. The front desk also offers free tea, coffee, and newspapers. This hotel completely shattered my preconceptions about Hong Kong accommodation being expensive and small. The Tin Hau MTR station is super convenient for getting around. On our last day, when we stored our luggage, they even gave us two Ferrero Rocher chocolates as we left – so polite and incredibly thoughtful! My daughter and I both agreed that we'll definitely stay here again next time we visit Hong Kong! Stayed in room 1246, and the overall experience was a mixed bag. The staff were exceptionally warm and friendly—truly above standard—and the service at the Club Lounge was particularly impressive. The lounge’s decor is elegant and sophisticated. As for the dining, the breakfast, afternoon tea, and evening cocktail hours were all satisfying. I especially enjoyed the Club afternoon tea; both the ambiance and the quality of the pastries were excellent. Breakfast, on the other hand, stood out for its wide variety of options.
That said, a hardware issue significantly marred the stay. The room’s TV kept shutting off automatically—sometimes after just over 40 minutes of viewing. I called the front desk four times, and technicians came up to inspect and repair it, but the problem was never fully resolved. For a guest staying on the Executive Floor, encountering such a persistent technical fault falls short of what one would expect from a five-star hotel. It was genuinely disappointing.
