It was a nightmare for all 5 days. There was a major roof repair work above our unit. Construction work start as early as 7am. We were living inside a construction site. We reported this to Les Lofts, the general administration office, Maina, Responsable Expérience Client,Head of Customer Experience. The response was nothing they can do about it, however, she has also rejected our request to discontinue the booking, and refund us the balance. After rounds of debate, they were initially offer me a 15% discount on first two nights, keeping the booking unchanged. When we request to move to new location on the remaining days, the thing they have done is offer us to ONE location option and claiming it was an upgrade, such that previous offered discount will not longer valid under this new arrangement, all this concluded without our consensus as acceptable solution. This is the exact words, ”We did not require your approval as this was not a choice but rather the solution we were offering as you had refused to stay at the Lofts de la Gare. With that information, you must understand that we will not be able to offer you a discount or a refund. ” With this experience, we lose all confident of any apartment managed by Les-Lofts, due to missing empathy and accommodating attitude toward their customer's disturbed stay. Just from reading her reply, you can feel how arrogant they are after you paid. Following problems were found from stay, - The unit has no fresh air ventilation, and there is no single window can be opened. We complained to them, and they just reply there is a built-in system in the ceiling, which is obviously not effective if there is one. - Our back door exit was taped or blocked, and not able to use the patio during our stay. ( as show on picture ) - No follow up of the FOUND purse in the unit has returned back to its owner, - Noise problem as all rooms located on the ground floor next to busy streets, - Security concern as the private patio is not gated, and we found outsiders using our patio space and left garbage behind that never be cleaned, - Glasses, bowls, cups are old, chipped - are cut hazard, have deep scratches hiding dirt, - The whole floor in the unit is covered with uneven stone, that is a serious tripping hazard for elders or children. - Do not offer cleaning even with 5 days long stay even so much construction dust got blown into the units as we open the door. - When we check out, we found a purse with money inside, likely left behind from previous tenant. We reported it and left on the kitchen counter hoping they will take effort to return it back to its owner. But so far, we heard nothing from them. One, this tells us they did not do thorough cleaning and checking for each tenant, Two, they have little interest to return what left behind back to their customers.
