This is a very basic business hotel, which I made the mistake of booking for a family stay. Location is 10 min walk to the Lambrate subway station which is ok. The room was spacious, clean, had a desk, wardrobe and sideboard for luggage. The shower was very narrow and only 1 type of eco-friendly shower gel/shampoo was provided. I do appreciate the towel rack they provided as there were 4 of us. Most rooms have only 1 or 2 hooks to hang towels, even if they accommodate 4. Wifi speed was good and easy to connect. Our room was next to the stairs leading up from the entrance. So in the evenings, the peace would be broken by stomping up and down the stairs, doors opening and closing every time someone entered or left, and their voices echoing down the corridor as they spoke. The front desk staff were polite but not particularly helpful. On their website, airport shuttle is listed as an available service. On ********** it was listed as avail for €50, which is the main reason why I booked this place. When I asked the staff about this, she said there’s no such service and she’d reserve a taxi for us. We only need 30 min to get to the airport. Luckily I checked, as it takes at least 1h! So later in the day, we went to the front desk to change the timing of our taxi booking. Another staff was there and told us no such booking was made. He’s unable to book a taxi in advance and we only need to come down 5 min before our desired time and the staff will call for a taxi for us. And, the one way taxi ride is a fixed price of €100.

We loved the fact that is very well located (two blocks away from Duomo practically). Our room had a kitchen and a living so it was very comfortable. Is near two metro stations. From the outside doesn't look like a hotel (it has no sign) but one of the staff members saw us searching around so he showed us our room. From the inside you can see that is a very old family complex building, so you would definitely get the typical Italian neighborhood feeling. The elevator is very small and has a bit of a smell, but for the rest we really liked the place.

We were very pleased with our one night stay at Guest House Pirelli. My wife and I stayed in a room with its own private bath. The room was simple, but clean and in good order. The bed was comfortable. We found the staff to be both friendly and helpful. We did not have any issue with noise during quiet hours. Great value for your money here.

We stayed here for one night, booking a room with panoramic views. The location is fantastic, very central and right next to the shops. The room was, clean and modern, with free touches such as water, slippers and toothbrushes. However, we did not receive a panoramic view room as booked (the room we did get was still good) and the WiFi was very problematic. It would turn on and off constantly - we complained twice and each time it would magically work... Seems like they are reducing devices on the server to save money perhaps? Quite frustrating. Also the room is advertised as having a smart 42” TV. The tv was smaller, this is fine but it was unusable as a smart TV as the remote provided left us unable to access any smart features. So this issue and no WiFi meant for lack of entertainment in the room. They did allow us to store our bag until 4.30pm which was most appreciated.
