BbrianslkLooks nice on the outside but lack cleanliness in the inside. Great location as it's situated in the town center with highly accessible to malls & restaurants. Interior design were modern & rustic, nice but overly rustic over time as deco were old & filled with spider cobwebs, standing lamps on the corridor were rusty & yellowish & filled with cobwebs, there's even long string of cobwebs in the bathroom ceiling. Plenty of mosquitoes in the bathroom/room, and that's the least thing you want from being infected with dengue as it's dengue season (raining season) now. Furnitures in the room (bedframes, cupboards, table) were old as you can tell the colors of the wood had became lighter / faded. Got a room with a keycard that doesn't work at all, was very frustrated & asked to change to another room but the owner said the place was fully booked. In the end, they gave us a key to unlock/lock the door every time we leave the room. While checking out, the staff accused us of taking a spoon when only 1 spoon were given during our stay. In the end, they just say it's ok & we left. If they do refurbish this place & do a proper cleaning, I would definitely return here to stay.

PPengguna TetamuJika anda boleh mengantuk dengan mudah, maka peralatan tempat tidur adalah berkualiti tinggi. Rasa bilik hotel 4 bintang yang betul, dengan bau yang sangat baik, bilik itu sangat memuaskan untuk perjalanan solo untuk perniagaan. Con. (1) Makan (makan) agak susah (sukar). Tetapi setelah berkata demikian, kopitiam yang paling dekat hanya 2 km jauhnya, Kemaman Kopitiam. (2) Kebaikan pinggir bandar. (1) Bilik yang bagus. (2) Senang nak keluar masuk - Parking macam kat rumah sendiri (kecuali kena sabar sikit kalau ada kereta lain yang menghalang).

PPengguna TetamuAlthough a little on the pricey side per night rate, my fmly and I overall enjoyed our 2 night stay at The Colony. I was pleasantly surprised how clean and new looking this place was. Not run down at all despite having opened for about 5 years now I think. Very well maintained which made our stay very comfortable. We like how industrial and modern looking this whole place is. Water pressure in the bathroom was good, bed linen was clean, amenities were well replenished, swimming pool was rather small but clean and decent enough to keep the kids happy. One thing weird though was that we were given 2019 dated green tea sachet but it’s already 2022 now. Receptionist said it’s actually the date of manufacturing rather than the expiry date but we didn’t want to take the risk so we didn’t consume it. And the amount of soap and shampoo given were probably too little in small slim bottles. Bathroom was a little clogged after our shower. But everything else were fine and nice. I guess the sound proof was alright as there was no noisy disturbances from other rooms. So we had uninterrupted sleep. This guesthouse has two storeys with 8 rooms in total. 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom. All in all thumbs up and if given the chance and having to travel to Kuantan again we would be more than happy to be back here to stay.

PPengguna TetamuArrived at the guesthouse for check in quite late at mid nite. Booked for 2 rooms and requested for side-by-side rooms or very near to each other. At 1st they wanted to allocate at 2 different places which I declined. Finally, only given rooms facing slightly each other. Was informed beforehand that water heater in one of the rooms does not work, so…have to accept since we have no other choice. Have to enter different entrance from the reception area to get to our rooms as this place is of shoplots building. No lifts & have to walk up the staircase which is also not clean properly. Rooms condition are bad & not clean properly. Curtain and it’s railing are about to collapse! Linens & bedsheets have visible stains with a few ink/pen scratches on a few spots. Towels are faded with a few have holes on them. Phones in the room didn’t work or no connection to reception when tried to complain. As we are tired and lazy to go down to reception, we tried calling the reception many times using own phone but nobody bothers to pick up. At last, we use the towel and our own shirts as linen to cover the dirty linen. Lock (inside & outside) at toilet Door is broken & main entrance door only use the doorknob lock in one of the rooms. Leakage on the bottom part of the sink. Found left over rubbish in plastic bag from previous tenant(?) maybe behind the bedside table. What a mess we are in! Rooms equipped with TV but only a few channels are accessible. No fridge, provide with jug ( but you have to go down to pantry area located next to reception to get hot water) & 2 mugs. No tea/coffee/sugar & mugs have lipstick stain on them. Wifi service is stated as available but you can’t get connection from the rooms area actually…so don’t bother & dont waste time trying to get the connection. Will not stay at any of the Sun Inns chain in future.

Gg0rgeousTidur semalaman di bilik kapsul (baik untuk 2 orang) dan Aurora Parallel (baik untuk 4 orang) bersama rakan-rakan. Bilik kapsul baik, bilik mandi berkongsi. Aurora Selari tidak begitu besar, cat dinding dan bilik mandi bersambung tidak diselenggara dengan baik. Bilik juga tidak cukup bersih. Padahal tilam dan bantal bersih. Sabun mandi dan syampu disediakan di bilik mandi. Pemiliknya cukup baik untuk membenarkan kami tinggal selepas sejam daftar keluar untuk mandi selepas meredah air terjun. Boleh tempah pelangi waterfall trekking di hotel semasa daftar masuk. Wifi lemah di Parallel Aurora.
