If you are not sure where to stay - don’t waste any time looking elsewhere, I can 100% recommend staying at Arran Lodge. We were so impressed with how well we were looked after, a clean and kept room with everything you might possibly need, including a welcome treat - homemade cake, space to park the car outside the house, a welcome reception and the most wonderful breakfast choice! Staying here was a treat and will definitely be back! Thank you for being such great hosts! Anna and Chris

Everything was great in the hotel. The room for three persons is equipped with a private bathroom and toilet. Towels, soap, kettle, dishes, tea, coffee - everything was in the room. The TV was in a convenient location for viewing from all beds. The location is very comfortable for visiting the old and modern city. The way to the sea took 5-7 minutes of slow walking. At breakfast we felt like a royal family, everything was delicious and satisfying. )) We will definitely return.

Lower Thorton farm a set in idyllic farm location. It’s beautiful surroundings and scenery makes anyone ignore the travel time to the south West. The accommodatio at the property is well attended For and catered by Alison who keeps it meticulously clean . Location is very quiet and peaceful and would entice anyone looking for a good couple of days of getaways into the quiet nature.

I’m always happy with the leisure centre and spa, however the place isn’t really that well looked after and def not new. There was a noise all night that seemed to have to do with the ventilation system or something. It’s not the first time I stayed here so pretty sure it had to do with the location of the specific room I stayed at 122

Stayed here for one night in August. Was really impressed with the Telstar. Staff were lovely and very welcoming. Room was cosy (I had a single room) and had everything I needed. Breakfast was great and fab location in town for Exeter St David’s or Exeter Central station. Will definitely stay again when passing through!

Wow what a fabulous setting. Such a lovely location with so much to offer. Breakfast was great with a buffet style hot and cold choices. Bed was very comfy and shower hot and excellent pressure. Only stayed 1 night but now on my radar as I will stay again on my next trip to south Devon.

Very clean and comfortable . Set in quiet location . Food was lovely , cooked to order and a great choice of alternatives. Tea and coffee facilities in room and help yourself if you needed anything else .Hosts Catherine and Chris were lovely people . Would definitely recommend.

Very good hotel! Nice decoration! Before you check in, your room has a great presentation. The owners are friendly, they offered a cup of milk and biscuits after you check in. But the washer water is not strong, but I still will stay here again. Would highly recommended.

Fantastic service and friendly staff...Free secure parking and nice breakfast. New comfy beds with fresh bedding. Made us feel welcomed also 1 minute walk to the beach ⛱️ Good location. Will book this hotel again next time we in the area Asif (Manchester)

A lovely location, doesn’t look much from front but opens out on to a beautiful river at back. Delightful place , good food & hospitality was very good. Thankyou to Jake & Sarah for a short but wonderful experience. I’ll be back !
