I found the hotel during internet search. It was a very good hotel. Hotel staff is cooperative. Food is tasty. Overall it is a good budget hotel.

the hotel was good if you compare with the rate. good parking space. near to golden temple. 15 min walking distance. the bed size was large enough. two large beds were provided. the road towards hotel is bit narrow. two towel and two small soap was provided. i will book this guest house again if i revisit amritsar again.

This was my second visit in two years to the guest house. This time as a group of eight people and the guest house welcomed us and hosted us brilliantly. Mrs B’s guesthouse is all about quintessential charm and traditional hospitality. The current Mrs B is the founder’s daughter and runs the place like a family home. Some of the staff have worked there for over 40 years. Make sure you embellish your visits to the Golden Temple, the Partition Museum, the Waga border ceremony with anecdotes and stories from Mrs B. It will provide you with an insight that no travel guide ever could. The rooms now boast tea and coffee making facilities and some rooms now have air conditioning for the hottest months. We visited in Spring this time and the garden was ablaze with colour. The food. The food!!! Don’t eat anywhere else and I challenge you to find a better Masala omelette anywhere in the Punjab. Everything can be arranged from here - car transportation, tuk-tuk, rickshaw, Tonga. Stop looking, you’ve found your home in Amritsar

This was an excellent guest house choice. I arrived the weekend of festivities in the city and there was a high number of bookings. However, the home management and staff never ceased to make me feel at home, with friendly and professional attention to detail. The room was cosy and bed very comfortable and hot water always available. They offer housekeeping and food order if you want. I really loved this location, you can walk to the Shri Harmandir Sahib (Golden Temple), Jalionwala Bagh and Partition Museum and make arrangements to go to Wagah border ceremony in a shared vehicle of your choice. If you want to enjoy the bazaar culture and food choices, everything is next door. The railway station is easily reached by autorickshaw. Thank you to all the staff at Gurjeet Guest House for a wonderful stay in Amritsar.

This is a budget hotel... Booking was done thru our agent...apparently the reception person doesn't have clear instructions of the inclusions ***** with the rooms booked..so before u arrive at the hotel please call them to clarify this...Rooms are infested by mosquitoes..rooms don't have proper latches....the windows are nailed down with blinds...most of which the nails wer loose...the mosquito repellent was missing in our room and had to be called in for...the meals provided are minimalist.. after a long journey from Manali all v needed was a good rest...but had very uncomfortable stay here...
