Asrama di Prague

I was in the 34-bed dorm and I have to say it was a pleasant experience. The Inn isn't too far from the city centre and the staff were very friendly. The service was great, the bunk bed are a but stiff at times and the pillows too soft but , a bed is a bed! The door is a bit difficult to open, but that's just a skill issue. The toilets and showers were clean and I'd recommend to stay here for Prague if you're on a budget! Watch out, some people snore loudly though ..

良い点 シャワーなどを含めとても清潔 レセプションが親切 下の階のカフェの雰囲気がいい 悪い点 中心地まで若干遠い(トラムの駅までは近いです) 泊まった部屋のドアの建て付けが悪かった 2段ベッドの上に上がる時の梯子に手すりがなくて怖い シャワーを浴びるのが億劫にならないホステルでした

We had overall a very good stay at Sir Toby’s. The staff were all super pleasant and helpful, our room was clean (we stayed in a private room). The common areas were clean and really nice for meeting and spending time with other people at the hostel. The bar was great. While we didn’t use the kitchen, it was very nice and we did store some food in the fridge. The area the hostel is located in is really nice, we enjoyed some of the nearby restaurants and art galleries. Transport was very easy to wherever we needed to go. Checking in and out was really simple. We would be back the next time we are in Prague :)

A wonderful hostel, being the best I have been in on my 1-month trip through Europe. The cleanliness is super good, the rooms are comfortable and spacious and the hostel is very close to the center, just a 15-20 minute walk. What is best and worth mentioning is the quality of the volunteers, everyone was super friendly and with a lot of energy to propose panoramas, I had a fantastic time since it was very easy to make friends and feel comfortable within that environment

Esperienza terribile. Ostello da non consigliare per NESSUN motivo. L'ostello è stato ricavato da un vecchio palazzone, pieno di porte vecchie e pesantissime. C'è il portone che entra nell'atrio, un portone di accesso per la reception, uno per entrare nei corridoi delle camere a poi ovviamente i portoni delle camere. Ognuno di questi portoni è di una pesantezza allucinante senza neanche una sorta di ”accompagnamento” durante la chiusura, che fa si che ogni volta che le innumerevoli porte venivano chiuse, il rumore era fortissimo. Questo, in aggiunta al fatto che il palazzo è vecchio e con soffitti altissimi, creava anche l'eco. MORALE: non abbiamo dormito per 3 notti svegliate ogni 5 minuti da questi rumori infernali. (ovviamente lo sappiamo che siamo in un ostello e ci sono anche altre persone, non stiamo dando la colpa all'ostello per l'inciviltà delle persone che magari urlano, sbraitano e si muovono da stanza a stanza nel cuore della notte...) Basterebbe così poco: una sorta di accompagnamento alle porte per farle chiudere più silenziosamente, dei tappeti sulle scale dei piani attutire l'eco... cose che tra l'altro renderebbero l'ambiente anche più confortevole. Ho visitato molte città europee preferendo quasi sempre gli ostelli agli hotel perché mi piace l'ambiente e la possibilità di fare nuove amicizie e scoprire da vicino le diverse culture. Non sono una neofita di ostelli. Anche se sotto la categoria ostello, è possibile dare un servizio decente quasi alla pari di un normale hotel. Non è una scusa dire ”siamo un ostello, non aspettatevi un gran servizio...” Personale freddissimo quasi che gli stessimo facendo un grossissimo favore a stare presso la loro struttura. Sconsiglio vivamente questo ostello a chi la notte vuole quanto meno fare 2/3 ore di fila di sonno senza interruzione... Se non interessa invece, la posizione è ottima per raggiungere qualsiasi luogo a piedi.

Cozinha junto com o quarto num mesmo ambiente (Boa sorte se dividir quarto com alguém que frita bacon logo pela manhã! Suas roupas e vc ficarão aromatizados) tem calefação mas a noite é bem frio! (Mas eu vim no inverno) Não tem tomadas para todos as camas e o pior NAO TEM WI-FI DENTRO DO QUARTO (fiquei no quarto 6A) mas todos do meu quarto ficaram simplesmente SEM Wifi dentro do quarto, precisei vir para o corredor para algumas reuniões online e ainda sim a internet super instável além de ser SUPER frio no corredor. Mesmo avisando na recepção do problema nada foi resolvido sobre o Wifi. A localização é excelente, as funcionárias super educadas, a cama é confortável mas se o Wifi for importante para você não recomendo! Caso contrário vale a estadia pelo custo benefício :) um ponto muito positivo é que além da excelente localização ele tem elevador!!

The hostel is tidy and they clean the rooms every morning. The receptionists are also very helpful and friendly, you can ask them about anything and they're always ready to help. About the location, it's not the best but also definitely not bad. It's easy to find the hostel and there's a tram stop just 5 minutes away from the hostel, where you can take a tram to the center and other parts of the city. Although the pool and sauna were overall good, the pool is neither heated nor does it look as good as in the official pictures. In reality it's a bit cold and there are cracks on the walls which might look unwelcoming at first sight. Finally, it's not a youth hostel. And in our opinion, it's not the place to be if you want to socialize.

Located in Prague, a 10-minute walk from the Old Town Square, Backpacker Hostel offers free WiFi and a luggage storage room. The closest metro station is 400 metres away. The units at the Backpacker Hostel come with shared bathroom facilities and a refrigerator. A fully equipped shared kitchen is also at all guests´ disposal. On request, breakfast is served daily at the property. A restaurant can be found on the ground floor of the same building. Palladium Shopping Centre is situated 600 metres from the hostel and Charles Bridge is reachable within 2 minutes by car.

I will first write an objective review. At the end I will give you a good story about my trip and this hostel. The good - The mattresses on the beds are the best I have had in a hostel. Top quality - The property is beautiful and well maintained - The shared rooms are big and well distributed Not so good - Internet connection is unstable - The rooms overlooking the front of the building can be noisy if there are people outside in the street downstairs - The terrace closes at 10pm Neutral - The location. I read previous reviews about the hill and distance from the city. I did not find the hill too bad. Distance from the city is worth it if you like to stay in a pretty area. - I did not try their food. Only coffee and it was good The promised true story I’ve planned a last minute trip to Prague. I made a mistake when making the hostel booking. It meant I lost my reservation. I did not realize about my mistake; I became the most horrible customer you can imagine. The staff kept being polite over email. They went above and beyond to help me – even though I kept being unreasonable. I arrived late, tired and grumpy. I was met by Francesca and the manager. To my surprise, they were welcoming, warm and helpful. Yes, this is a great property to stay. The hostel is clean, comfortable, well located. The reason why I recommend it is because of their exceptional high standards of customer service.

I've been staying in hostels around the world for 20 years and I would go as far as saying this is about the perfect hostel. Arriving after hours and still received the most friendly of welcomes and was shown to my room. Room was spacious despite bing an eight bed dorm, beds were comfortable and unlike many hostess towels were provided for free. Location is perfect, right at the foot of Charles Bridge and just a short walk to Old Town and all visitor attractions. Good showers, bathroom and kitchen with nice space to chill out. Receptionists were VERY helpful and a special shout out to Lucas and Maddie who were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Shops right outside and tram a shot walk away. Can't fault this place one bit.
