Bellissima struttura, accogliente e molto centrale. A pochi passi possiamo trovare la cattedrale, il prato, piazza grande, il centro storico e la fortezza. Host fantastica!! Pieni di energia, molto esaustiva e capace di trasmettere l’amore che mette nel suo lavoro: voto 10!! Camera grande e fornita di ogni comfort. Abbiamo scelto di aggiungere la colazione, la quale è convenzionata con il Caffè Vasari in piazza grande: ottima anche questa! Torneremo di sicuro!!

Four years ago, after breaking my ankle while on vacation in Palermo, I happened upon Villa Baldelli for an overnight stay while touring Tuscany. My ankle was inspected by an orthopedic surgeon in Naples who felt it would heal on its own with just an air-boot for support. I continued my trip arriving at Villa Baldelli for an overnight stay, two weeks after my accident. The pain and swelling was continuous and I had bruised some ribs and strained muscles in my back as well. I had asked Francesca if she could arrange for a massage for my back and the next day and I was introduced to Rosanna. At first, Rosanna inspected my areas of complaint and soon began to massage the area around my ankle. I wasn’t expecting this as the ankle had an active broken fibula and pressing around the area was very painful. With eyes bright with compassion, Rosanna said through my translator that she was going to relieve the swelling in my ankle which would help to reduce the pain. With tears in my eyes, I followed her lead and much to my amazement, she was right. For the first time in weeks I was in less pain, allowing me to sleep better and move around with much less discomfort My wife and I had only planned to stay at Villa Baldelli for a night or two, but decided to stay for a week so that Rosanna could provide further massages. Plus the charming location, beautiful grounds with a pool that I could move around in and Francesca’s suggestions on things to do in the area made this an easy decision. Rosanna’s healing touch gave me great relief after each massage, allowing me to continue on our vacation for the remaining 4 weeks as planned. I ended up needing surgery to repair the broken fibula and found a great Orthopedic surgeon in Innsbruck to perform the procedure. After telling him of my journey he stated that the therapy received by Rosanna was very important. With all of this said above, what is missing is emotion I felt after having Rosanna care for me during such a challenging period. We communicated as best we could, but she communicated best with her eyes. Rosanna looked at me in such a way that I knew that she’d take the best care of me possible, and she did. I was beginning to worry that my broken ankle would spell the end of my very active life. She replaced my despair with hope, her compassion was shown through her eyes and her healing touch. I could not have found a better guardian angel… We had such good memories of our stay at Villa Baldelli we planned to return two years later but the pandemic hit and dashed our plans. We finally returned to Villa Baldelli in May of 2022. Francesca remembered me from our stay in 2018 and said that Rosanna was still giving massages. I immediately asked to schedule an appoin**ent with Rosanna, not so much because I needed one but rather because I wanted to see her again and tell her the rest of my story and to let her know just how important a role she played in my full recovery. It was a wonderful reunion!

Hotel molto grande ubicato all'uscita dell'autostrada,molto comodo per arrivare ad Arezzo.Personale molto gentile,ottima accoglienza,check-in veloce. Colazione ottima,con tante torte e cornetti,ottima anche la parte salata,abbondante e varia,camerieri super gentili e disponibili. Non mi è piaciuta la pulizia nei corridoi delle camere,moquette sporca e macchiata,camera grande,ma non c'è un armadio,viene lasciato tutto a vista.I sanitari quadrati sono scomodissimi,soprattutto il bidet,non c'è presenza in camera di altra coperta e neanche di cuscini aggiuntivi,come al solito quelli presenti sono sottilissimi,in compenso il letto era comodissimo,non era presente una presa accanto a un lato del letto e nel nostro bagno c'era la vasca,molto scomoda. Pagare 4€ una bottiglia di acqua al bar è un furto. Nel complesso 4* da rivedere.

Very dated hotel and for the price I expected a lot more. Definitely not a 5 star hotel. Room was shabby, shower wasn’t working properly, asked for the window to opened in the toilet but request was ignored. Water wasn’t supplied daily in the fridge. Came as guests as part of a wedding and was told we weren’t allowed breakfast and that we had to wait for the breakfast they put on for the wedding guests. Despite us saying to them we were leaving early that morning and wouldn’t be staying until later, we wanted our breakfast in the breakfast buffet at 8am but were told no. Had to them complain to the rude receptionist who repeated the same to us but after 5 minutes of explaining our situation over and over again we were finally allowed breakfast which we had paid for! Also when ordering lunch, we were given the option of just two sandwiches…nothing else, just those two sandwiches and the price was 10 euros each. Expensive but I thought ok, this is a five star hotel, I’ll get a decent sized portion and maybe some crisps or olives or side salad or something for my money. Nope. Please see attached photo for what I got. Half a tiny French bread loaf. If I wasn’t with the wedding I would have kicked up a bigger fuss. When I was served the food (fit for a 3 year old) the waitress was apologetic and knew it was a complete scam but nothing she could do. Rooms were cleaned well. This is the only positive really. Would i stay here again? Absolutely not. Plenty of other locations in Tuscany that offer far better value.

Regarding TV, there is a free Sky service with Italian content, so not useful to non Italian speaking guests. Did not use it, so I don't know if it can be switched to other languages. Netflix and YouTube are installed, but were not working in our room. Everything else is just great.

Not only is the property amazingly beautiful, but the staff is equally incredible. We stayed here for four nights for our honeymoon, and it was the highlight of our trip; we didn’t want to leave and wish we would have stayed longer. It’s quiet, peaceful, and you just want to sit and enjoy the property all day. Our friends recommended this location for us, and we will definitely be back. If you are looking for an amazing getaway at a location that will leave you speechless, Villa di Piazzano will not disappoint. Everything was top-notch from the grounds to the Service to the food.
