NNecati DemircanThis was one of the best hotel I stayed at in Manila. I had some hesitations about the shared toilet and bathroom, but they were quite clean by Philippine standards. The hotel even has a pool, so you can sit by the pool in the evening and meet other guests. However, our room didn't have a window and was a bit damp. The only downside of the hotel is that the surroundings aren't very safe. You need to be cautious around the hotel if you're a foreigner. Mall of Asia is only 10-minutes by Jeepney. The hotel is also close to the airport for those leaving the city.

KKris.YThis is my second time staying at Yamato Hostel, and it continues to be my go-to accommodation whenever I have a flight via NAIA. The place is always clean, with fresh and fragrant linens that make the stay very comfortable. The staff are friendly, accommodating, and always willing to help with any questions or requests.
I also appreciate how well-maintained and organized the hostel is. The location is very convenient for airport travelers, and despite being budget-friendly, it feels safe, cozy, and welcoming. Consistent service and cleanliness are the main reasons I keep coming back. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay near the airport.

One of its biggest advantages is its excellent location right within the Makati Central Business District (CBD), making it very convenient for both business and leisure travelers. The room is spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. The air conditioning works properly, keeping the room cool throughout the day and night. Housekeeping is also commendable, with the bed sheets being changed daily, which helps maintain cleanliness and comfort during the stay. One thing to note is that there is no Wi-Fi available inside the rooms. However, Wi-Fi is accessible in the lobby area, which may be sufficient for guests who only need occasional internet access. The bathroom is quite compact and primarily designed for shower use, but it is functional and adequate for a short stay. I also appreciate that the hotel provides a bidet, which is an important feature for many travelers. During my stay, I noticed a few cockroaches here and there. While this did not significantly affect my overall experience, it is an area where the hotel could improve its housekeeping and pest control measures. Overall, I still find this hotel to be a good value for money because of its strategic location, spacious rooms, reliable air conditioning, and daily housekeeping service. Despite a few minor drawbacks, I would still consider staying here again on future visits to Makati.

FFood X Bert on youtubeThis place is awesome. Free water is a bonus. Not the best view out of the window but at least you get fresh air. For 16 dollars there is absolutely no complaining for the value. I will definitely be back again. The staff is super nice as well. They also have a fridge downstairs that people can use.

I tried to use public buses nearby and failed, they didn't stop at the ”bus stop area”, wasted time. So only used metro

CCambrianThe staff is really nice, helpful, and friendly. They try the best to interact with all the people as my observation and try to remember our name as well.
The location is good for me as it is under visitors gather point and walk out u can see many visitors as u also easy to find a foods especially to who not really cannot accept local road foods.
They also offer free walking tours around the area and explain to u.
Opps not to forget the free welcoming drinks. Probably, if they can indicate the name of drinks, it will be much helpful as I do not know, and too hard for me to remember when staff told me during place order.
The room i booked is dorm for 4. They do offer me a free lock to lock the locker rather than I need to buy the new one. Highly appreciated. But I found the locker is dirty with maybe detergent , i am not sure, but my bag all has been full with the unknown dirty and I need to use my own one time deal tower to clean it . Really sad. Probably, future staff need to check the locker condition besides the bed.
Overall, if u are looking for party night and knowing more new friends, it is good options, but if you prefer a quiet environment, u may need to reconsider.

It's a love hotel that could actually work as a stopover if you're ready to experience Manila as it truly is. I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness: no insects in the room, no dirt, and a clean jacuzzi, which isn't always the case even in more expensive hotels in Moscow. One of the hotel staff, a gecko, clearly protected us from insects!
However, the bathrooms definitely need fixing. The pipes on both floors are leaking, which has led to a persistent puddle of stagnant water that never dries up.
The mattress was firm, perhaps too much so for our liking. And the stairs are quite steep, which might not be comfortable for everyone.
The hotel staff were generally friendly; I'm sure they would have been willing to help if needed, but we didn't have any issues. However, no one took the initiative, so over our three-day stay, we weren't even offered fresh towels or trash removal, which was a bit disappointing.
The location is convenient because it's close to the airport (this was a big draw for us, as we only had two days in Manila). But on the other hand, stepping outside the hotel plunges you into the surrounding poverty: markets, homeless people. In the evenings, it felt a bit uncomfortable getting around without a taxi. I'd recommend taking a taxi every time you return after sunset.
And yes, being close to the airport means plane noise day and night, so be prepared for that.
All in all, my wife and I enjoyed our stay at the hotel, and we might even consider returning next time.

AAnonymous UserThe location was nice, it is nearby to the closest LRT station, you just have to walk for a little. If it is not such a hassle, choose this hostel.
When we first came in, the room smelled nice. Even though there is only one fan in the room, the room is still comfortable to stay in, it is not hot. Also, if you’ll be staying for a night this is the perfect place to stay in because they only provide beds for you to sleep in, but if you’d like to have more stuff that you can actually use while you’re at your stay, that has more amenities, this is not for you. Lastly, I actually commend the shared bathroom. It is clean and has a bidet and also a toiletry that you can use.
All in all, our stay is good. This is also our first time to check-in, so, not bad for the first time. Also, it is a budget-friendly place to stay in. Keep it up!

The location is very easy to find, right on the street, next to a BDO bank, and there are many dining options nearby, which is super convenient. There are large common areas on both the 5th and 2nd floors, and the internet connection is also very good. All the staff are very friendly.
