The resort was in a lovely location but is a little tired, understandable after covid. Even after a few emails requesting a double bed close to the beach they did not have one arraigned for us, they had put us in a Bure up the hill. I have tendinitis in my knees so that was never going to work. In the end they put my husband and I in a Bure with twin beds closer to the beach - not at all romantic! The meal plan was really expensive but the food was plentiful, unfortunately the restaurant was up the hill so it was a painful effort on my behalf for each meal. Unlike other resorts that we stayed in this resort required a daily fuel surcharge and we also had to pay a hire fee for fins. They did not put on Manta ray trips on either of the 2 days that we stayed there although there were Manta rays in the channel both of those days. Unimpressed. Luckily we had also booked nights at Barefoot Manta Ray Resort so ended up swimming with the mantas which was our sole reason for going. To be fair other people staying at MRIR said that they had been taken on Manta trips earlier in the week so I have no idea why they told us that there were no mantas on the 2 days that we were there - Barefoot Manta Resort said that on one of the days there had in fact been 7. This resort is much more of a backpacker resort although the high cost of the meal plan would give most backpackers a second thought.

Barefoot Manta was amazing! We spent 5 nights and had the best time. The staff were incredible, especially the resident marine biologist Rob who was a mine of information and enthusiasm. There are 3 different beaches to snorkel from and the snorkelling was the best we have ever seen, it is a protected marine reserve and we participated in coral planting which was great. The Manta Ray trips happened on 3 of our 5 days, it is a bit of an uncontrolled bun fight with various resorts sending their boats to see the mantas but the Barefoot Manta crew were educated and respectful. The resort is beautiful and has a lovely vibe, the staff were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in a double Bure on the sunset side, it was a permanent tent and it was all that we could have wished for, right on the beach. The meal plan is really expensive by our standards, I would have preferred an al a carte option as I have food restrictions and I found that eating salad and rice for almost every meal was boring and repetitive. The staff did try though, however $40 Fijian for salad and rice was a bit on the nose. Bring snacks! It would have been good if they could have made the tea/coffee available all day and maybe had something available for afternoon tea as it is 6 hrs between lunch and dinner. We do recommend this place.

先說優點： 位置好，在yasawa羣島比較好的區域，沙灘細膩，海水顏色分層，自然環境沒得說，棒！ 再說普遍情況： yasawa羣島上大多數度假村都有強制包餐計劃，這個在訂房前會有提前說明，餐費是過去現付。這家的價格是每人每天159斐幣（三餐）。 接下來是缺點： 1. 島上蚊蟲較多，不過原生態的大環境都這樣，可以理解，建議帶足驅蚊水上島即可。 2. 住的花園別墅（雙卧），我們這間和隔壁那間都是一間有正規空調，一間是臨時制冷機，臨時的那間機器聲音超級大，嗡嗡嗡一個晚上，睡覺輕的慎選。 3. 重點吐槽：這家的退房時間是早上9:30-10:30之間，然而入住時沒有任何人以口頭或書麪方式告之。 到了退房當天早上9點多，酒店強行讓客人們離開去酒店休息區等待（下島的船是中午1點到酒店門口碼頭）。在我們的堅持下，酒店給安排了一間臨時的waiting room，可以待到12點。 後來和其它客人聊天才知道（問了三四家），大家在入住時都沒有被告之退房時間（有一位在退房前一晚在床上看到了酒店放的書麪通知單，所以提前半天知道了這事），很多人一大早都匆匆忙忙很尷尬😅。 和攜程反饋了這件事，攜程處理很積極，也努力作出了補償，現在已更新了酒店的退房時間。 但是酒店這種服務態度，訂這家的要謹慎考慮😅

We stayed at Octopus Resort for 2 nights during our honeymoon and it was amazing. We stayed in one of the beach front bures and the view from our room was unreal. Different activities on offer which were fun, our favourite one was visiting the local village. Snorkelling was amazing! So many fish. Staff were mostly happy and welcoming. Food was good, only complaint we felt a bit rushed - we were still eating our first course and they were bringing out the next. Overall a very enjoyable stay, and we would visit again if in Fiji again.

Bula, Thoroughly enjoyed our recent visit to Navutu Stars Resort. ”Welcome Home” on the beach sung by the staff when arriving by boat. Stayed in the Garden Bure with its well kept gardens and walkways. We took in all that Navutu Stars has to offer starting with the snorkeling to several different locations near the resort with amazing coral and fish, a short hike to the summit that overlooks the waterways and surrounding islands with spectacular sunrise and sunset views(astrophotography too ), the kayaking, the walks along the beach. ALL the staff have given us the best experience during our stay and has made it truly memorable . From the guys that brought us in by boat or took us out to the Sawa-I-Lau caves and snorkeling, the ground staff that maintained the gardens and walkways, coming back to the Bure at the end of the day to find new flowers in our room, the ladies in the massage Bure, but never forgetting the ladies from the restaurant (Cora and Coessa) that welcomed us ever day and to hear what activities we'd planned for the day. The Village tour is a must to fully appreciate the pride the staff take to make sure you are treated like family and enjoy your stay while your on the island. Time seemed to stand still and felt like we'd been there longer. Enjoyed our time here with the staff and talking to the other couples from around the world Vinaka!

海非常漂亮非常漂亮。這個小島比較遠但是非常值得。浮潛下去有很多魚，水像果凍一樣清澈。 設施：房間挺大的，兩張大沙發躺着很舒服。冰箱、咖啡機、熱水壺都有。露天淋浴洗起來很爽，非常推薦！有空調和風扇，中午也不會熱。兩卧室有獨立的門，出入不會打擾到同行人。 環境：比較原生態的路線，很多植物。帶的小院子晚上吹吹風喝喝酒很舒服。雖然訂的是園景房，但是走一分鐘左右就能到沙灘。 服務：服務非常熱情！第一天預訂搞錯了以為我們有六個人，給我們分了四張小床，和他説了之後幫我們拼成大床。每天都有人打掃衞生。離開的時候還給我們唱告別歌。 有兩間餐廳，其中一家是日式料理，omakase上了很多海鮮。餐食不錯，比主島喜來登要好吃！
