Villa Fontana Relais Suite & Spa

We spend two nights and it was truly magical. Can not recommend it enough. The place is beautiful, the food was delicious and the staff was amazing. Always smiling and helpful. A special thank to Bernadetta for making it a great experience. We definitely want to come back again.

After a long day of travel from the U.S., my wife, 9-month-old daughter, and I were greeted with kindness and hospitality by the staff, along with spectacular, idyllic views of the rolling Piedmont wine region. We stayed at Villa Fontana for two days and enjoyed all of our meals at the hotel. We also spent each afternoon in the pool. There are actually two pools - one was a little too cold for October, but the heated pool with jets was perfect, and our daughter loved it. The food was excellent, especially the tuna tartare and the raviolini. Our only critique of the restaurant is that we wish there had been more dishes to choose from on the menu. With limited restaurant options within walking distance, we were looking for as much variety as possible from the hotel restaurant. Benedetta, the hotel manager, was kind and accommodating and she spoke wonderful English. Our check-in time was not until 3pm but she allowed us to check in several hours early, and she kindly allowed my wife to breastfeed our child in the lobby bathroom before we'd checked in. We were thrilled with the size of the rooms. They were large, well decorated and furnished, and included beautiful balconies with stunning views. All in all, we could not have been happier and would recommend Villa Fontana to anyone visiting Italy's Piedmont wine region.

We visited this lovely villa back in 2018. It has always been our model of comparison, as in “It was good, but it wasn’t Villa Fontana!” We planned our first post-pandemic trip to Italy to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and decided to do something we never do . . . return to a hotel. Our experience has always been it’s never as good the second time. Villa Fontana changed that! It was even better! Although more crowded in the summer than the last time we visited in the fall, the quality is still the best. Rooms are large and spacious and ours on the top floor had an amazing view of the countryside of Aguilino Terme! The bed was super comfortable and there was plenty of room to unpack and settle in. The bathroom was large and the shower was perfect! Plush bath robes, lots of toiletries with space for ours. There is an in room safe, magnifying mirror and lots of outlets. We enjoyed our balcony very much. One night, we were enjoying a glass of wine, watching a huge storm move in! It hit pretty hard but we were safe and the entire staff bolted into action to clean up the mess by the time dinner was served! The pool is just down the hill and large enough for all the guests, we had no trouble getting loungers. On our visit, it was very hot and there were lots of bee/wasps around the pool, I assume trying to get water. They swatted away easily and didn’t affect our enjoyment in the least! They provide a pool bag, towels and flip flops to use during your stay. There is a nice spa (which we did not try, only looked at) and another building added since our last stay. The restaurant was one of the best we visited in the area. It was so good we dined there two of our four nights! It would’ve have been three but they were closed on Wednesdays. There was parking on site and we were given a key if we returned late from dinner out. It felt very safe and almost like our own villa! Villa Fontana-thanks for the warm return welcome! Bellissima la location, personale gentile ma prezzo del tagliere + calice fuorilegge in rapporto alla scarsa qualità del prodotto e alla assenza di un menu. Ampi spazi e apprezzabile il numero di clienti ridotto per permettere privacy e relax.

Siamo stati nella spa della struttura per il quarantesimo di mia moglie. Abbiamo trovato un'oasi di benessere immersa nelle suggestive cantine dell'hotel, dove ci siamo goduti il silenzio della natura. Ci siamo rilassati nella sauna, nel bagno turco e nelle vasca idromassaggio, la nostra preferita è quella a sfioro esterna. Temperatura acqua davvero perfetta e getti idromassaggio davvero piacevoli. Lo staff dell'hotel è gentile e disponibile e sempre presente. Molto gradito il fatto che ti permettano di usufruire del servizio bar senza allontanarti dalla zona benessere. Non abbiamo usufruito della piscina esterna essendo ancora un po bassa la temperatura ma torneremo anche per provare la cena ( purtroppo il ristorante era pieno). Villa Fontana è il luogo ideale per chi cerca un soggiorno di relax e benessere. Se siete alla ricerca di un posto dove staccare la spina e rigenerarvi, questo è l'hotel perfetto per voi, non ve ne pentirete
