Hotel Alcobaça dengan Kolam Renang

Maybe this is a hopping place in peak season but in Spring, not so much. Rooms are fine, clean comfortable. Men and women must purchase a rubber swimming cap to wear in the pools (?!). The property is spacious with good parking. Families with kids would do well here with the pools and room to roam. The restaurant and bar were never open. Breakfast is fine but a huge spread for not many guests. We came from the city to the country for peace and quiet. Now the dogs….. We were serenaded from 10pm to 4 AM by loud, dogs just next door, barking incessantly but with brief pauses that made you think they were done barking. We could not sleep. Internet was intermittent and could not seem to be fixed even though the wireless access point was right outside our room. It is a beautiful if impractical spot for tourist business and probably best suited for conferences or Spa customers. Staff was very nice, very helpful and listened attentively but did not fix the problems with the internet and reassured us that dogs are very popular in Portugal and barking day and night was expected.

A minha experiência neste parque foi um pouco agridoce. De positivo tem o sossego, a calma do sitio onde o parque está inserido. Sendo um parque pequeno, também nunca vai ter muita confusão de pessoas. A piscina é bastante grande e com uma área circundante grande também, por isso é sempre uma zona muito simpática de se estar. Agora o lado negativo. Basicamente os Bungalows, pelo menos aquele onde estive, precisam de alguma manutenção ( Muita parede rachada, portas descoladas, cama abanava por todo o lado). A limpeza do mesmo também não era o melhor ( o meu bungalow tinha só uns 15 mosquitos mortos no teto/parede). A cozinha estava muito mal equipada. O pequeno-almoço era fraco em termos de quantidade ( apenas uns croissants, queijo/fiambre , cereais e pouco mais) mas o que havia era bom. Concluindo, para passar 1 ou 2 dias serve perfeitamente, mais do que isso não. É um parque com muito potencial, que até está a construir mais bungalows, mas que se desleixaram nos bungalows que têm e é pena.

Esta casa es impresionante. Tiene todo lo que se le puede pedir a un alojamiento rural para desconectar del ruido urbano. Está ubicada en Aljubarrota, suficientemente cerca de varios núcleos grandes de población, cerca de zonas turísticas muy interesantes. A la vez, la propia casa es comodísima, con zonas variadas para juegos, descanso, lectura, piscina, … Tiene muchos formatos de habitaciones y apartamentos para viajar en familia, se aparca dentro de la finca, … El desayuno es excelente, natural, variado… Y la anfitriona y el personal son tan amables y enfocados a la satisfacción del huésped que impresiona. Un gran acierto de gestión, enhorabuena!

Stayed here for one night while taking in the area surrounding Batalha / Alcobaça / Nazaré and found this to be the perfect place to rest our head for the night. The beds were comfortable, the design was aesthetically pleasing, the breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and the location was ideally suited to visit all three places (two of which are listed as UNESCO sites). The staff were also quite accommodating, having rectified a small issue with the wifi efficiently and with extremely grace. The only slight drawback that I can mention during our stay was that the water temperature varied quite frequently, but that can be easily forgotten once the rest of the property and its many amenities are taken into account. Highly recommended. And although we didn’t manage to have dinner on the property, we’d highly recommend Pangeia in Nazaré if you’re ever in the region; a perfect compliment to your stay.

Wonderful location just arrived the back side of the monastary, which is really the only reason to visit Alcobaça. We were not able to check in right away but the staff was kind and helpful. The facility has been renovated and is very modern, which is not usually my style, but it's done in a very tasteful manner. Perhaps the nicest part was the beautifully designed pool with perfect water temperature ... I could have spent an entire afternoon there. The rooms are spacious and offer most modern conveniences. The beds were large and comfortable. I felt the price was a bit high, but they really delivered with breakfast ... one of the best breakfast buffets I've had in a long while with tremendous variety and excellent quality offerings. Overall, a very pleasant experience.
