We have stayed in Premier Inn locations for many years. This was by far the worst experience we ever had! That said the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We had a 2 night booking as we were attending an event nearby. The hotel is very old and shabby. Our initial room couldn't access the general wifi so we were advised to go on to the Ultimate Service for which we had to pay £5. To be fair the receptionist wasn't aware there was a charge. The wifi still wasn't great so we swapped to a much bigger room where the wifi worked fine. The bathroom was very very cold and we had to plug in an extra heater. I will be contacting Premier Inn customer services to tell them about our experience.

Stayed one night and couldn’t fault it. Staff were friendly especially Yvonne on reception who gave us directions and recommendations that resulted in a great night out. Facilities were excellent especially in the bar and restaurant, would highly recommend and will be back.

The room we were allocated had a terrible smell. Overall the hotel is terribly rough and run down. I've used the premiere inn lots of times and have never experienced a bad hotel by them untill now.... Avoid this hotel at all costs.... Checked in and checked out 5 minutes later.....

Room decor a bit tied and worn but very clean. However from the time we arrived in reception to the time we checked out, ALL the staff, from reception, bar, restaurant and the management could not be more accommodating. Will definitely stay here again

We had a family room and while it was great to have a separate room for the kids, the whole room was extremely tired. We know premier inns are premium but you tend to get a certain standard in every single one. Except here. Walls were in dire need of paint. Furniture was rickety. The room needed a complete refit.

Stayed here before a family holiday before flying from Manchester. This hotel needs so much investment so run down.Rooms small.We had a twin room over looking bins and car park very very basic.We also had a room over looking main road so can here traffic. Been in a lot of Premier inns and normally all nice. Went for a meal downstairs in the pub that's ok nice enough.

Probably the worst Premier Inn I have ever stayed in. Not up to standard at all. The hotel is very dated, not clean, the interior decoration looks like it was done 20 years ago, bashed battered and unloved. I entered my room to the smell of ****, very unpleasant. A right dive. Mould and water stained ceilings in the corridors. The restaurant was just as bad, the service was terrible. Staff disappearing for a good 20nmins, people around me were threatening to walk out as they had been waiting that long to pay. A truly bad experience, don't come here.

This by far one of the worst hotels I have ever almost stayed in. Booked for one night and lasted 15 minutes. It is dirty and run down. The public spaces were poor and unkept and the room even worse. We could not stay.. The rooms are in no way similar to the website - avoid at all cost.

The rooms were dated and tired, certainly not what one would expect from Premier Inn. We had 3 rooms, all of which had mould and scuffs aplenty. Location was a positive for our visit.
