Ulasan Sotel Amsterdam Central Station

Excellent hotel with great service. We came for our engagement and had balloons and some love hearts placed on our bed. The people behind the desk were super friendly and made everything seem so simple. I look forward to returning to Amsterdam and staying in this hotel again!

Hotel is in a great location however not good if you have limited mobility as there wasn’t a lift. Room was quite small and the air conditioning unit was really difficult to get hot meaning we spent the first night very cold. Also the bathroom was not clean, the shower curtain was horrible and had a lot of mystery stains. Hair dryer had a strange residue on it. Window wouldn’t open in our room so there was a lot of condensation and a bit of mould in the shower. Towel rail in the shower was broken. There was a constant noise coming from air conditioning that sounded like washing machines so it was a bit difficult to sleep and the mattress was rather hard. Other than these issues it was a convenient place to stay.

My stay makes me recall the story of Anne Frank Room is small, but at a reasonable price. Staff are supportive.

Perfect location lovely staff

Great lil hotel. Perfect location and right in the heart of it all. Yes rooms are a lil small but let’s be honest, for the price it matches up. You won’t get 5 * luxury here but if you want a nice cheap local room that’s very clean and fresh then this is your spot. First desk was so helpful and very nice. Great all round hotel for a shout break.

Excellent location for exploring Amsterdam right next to centrall station. Hotel staff were helpful and friendly and everything was clean. Room was basic and quite small but was travelling a friend so completely did the job for what we needed it for.

The worst hotel ever, nothing is good except the location which is the only pros to the hotel, the staff of the hotel including the receptionist and the manager with the white hair were extremely terrible, i received a room other than i reserved and she insisted that it’s the same room, also they say there is an elevator, no there is no elevator i received a room in the second floor and the stairs are not helpful of getting your luggage up and down, they room’s window was looking over garbage which was a very bad smell, and when i talked to the manager who was very rude in her style, she didn’t even try to fix the problem and she didn’t refund me back with my money to reserve another hotel There is really nothing good towards this hotel, please avoid staying in this hotel, you will waste your money

I had such a wonderful experience at the hotel! It's in a fantastic central location, impeccably clean, & with very friendly staff! I will gladly book again!

Sotel was a convenient location, just 5min walk from Centraal Station Amsterdam. plenty of food nearby, and also walkable to the canals, dam square, and the shops. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. Lift was tiny but sufficient. We stayed on level 2 (third storey including entrance on ground floor). walls were pretty thin cos we could hear doors closing as though they were being slammed. no fridge in the room, but there is a coffee machine for our use. toilet was small, esp the sink. but sufficient for a short stay. Recommended! We arrived at 11+am and check in was at 1pm. They kept our bags for us while we went to explore the area and have lunch. One thing to note is the reception counter is manned only from 730 to 1030. we had to check out at 5am so if you need to check out when the counter is unmanned, it would be good to make prior arrangements with the receptionist. I had to make an international call at 5am to let the person know we were leaving. Overall a pleasant stay :-)
