If I could give this hotel six stars, I would! The attention to detail was mind-blowing - from the perfectly pressed linens to the meticulously curated local art adorning the walls. Who knew a hotel could feel like a time machine? The vintage decor transported me to a glamorous bygone era, while the amenities were thoroughly modern. The bar staff mixed cocktails with the flair of 1920s bartenders, and I half expected to see flappers dancing in the lounge. A delightful blend of nostalgia and comfort that left me grinning like a silent film star.

We spent a magical 9 days in this beautiful hotel. The grounds are wonderful for a stroll, and the pool next to the sea is stunning. The room exuded a warm, comfortable charm, and the bed was very comfortable. What is outstanding is the staff, and this is what makes this establishment excellent. Every one of them makes an effort to contribute to the comfort and well-being of the guests. The food is excellent: we enjoyed breakfast on the terrace of the main building, had lunch at the gazebo by the shore( Thank-you, Giovanni and staff!) Dinner at the Grill was a relaxed affair,and the al-fresco atmosphere at "Giovanni's" was a beautiful experience. Yes,this hotel comes with a hefty price tag, however it has been the most outstanding experience in our many travels around the world.
