We booked 4 rooms for our family tour and we had a great stay at Sapphire House. The rooms were cosy, clean and quiet. The breakfast was amazing with on-demand hot dish menu prepared for you! Front desk staff were very helpful and arranged a van for our group to commute to the station. The team was well diverse with Chinese speaking front desk staff as well. Highly recommend this hotel!

Dieses neue Hotel ist wirklich ein Destination Hotel, das Resort ist in der Tat Verlockung und Grund genug, um sich auf den Weg nach Antwerpen zu machen! Am liebsten würde man es gar nicht verlassen und das ganze Wochenende dort verbringen. Aber Antwerpen hat einfach zu viel zu bieten, das wäre wirklich schade, sich die Sights nicht anzuschauen. Aber vor ihrem Walk durch die Stadt (vom Hotel aus sind alle Sehenswürdigkeiten in max. 20 Minuten gut zu Fuss erreichbar) lockt das sensationell bestückte Frühstücks-Buffet. Mit feinen a la Carte Speisen als Ergänzung. Allein die Eggs Benedict - to die for! Nach dem Walk durch die City lockt dann die Bar, die schon jetzt einer der Hot Spots der Stadt ist. Da können Sie froh sein, wenn noch ein gemütliches Plätzchen frei ist. Und wem danach noch der Sinn nach Sauna und Schwimmen steht - für den steht der grosse Indoor Pool samt Saunabereich bereit. Schöner kann ein Tag in Antwerpen eigentlich kaum sein, als hier im wunderschönen neuen Botanic Sanctuary!

I was a bit sceptic going to the holiday Inn, as I normally don't like big chain hotels. However this holiday inn pleasantly surprised me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was bigger than expected, superclean and we had a wonderful view on the MAS, which was a definitely a plus. Bed were very good too. No fridge in the room, but possibility to get ice cubes in the lobbyBreakfast was a bit basic, but with the COVID restrictions and also considering the price we paid, it was more then acceptable. Parking was also easy (note I didn't find the elevator to go up, but since we only had a trolley, the stairs were ok). And I absolutely loved the location: about 15min from Groenplaats, 5 min from ”'t Eilandje” and 20min walk from sportpaleis, where we went to an exposition. Going to the sportpaleis was also a nice walk as it went through Parkspoor Noord. Next time I have to go to the sportpaleis or Lotto Arena, I will definitely consider staying there again. Bottom line, for the price we paid, this hotel was excellent. One more tip: I booked directly at the hotel and that was cheaper than through other booking websites

A no frills but okay hotel. Location is good as trams stop both in front and on the side of the hotel and bring you to the city center or Sportpaleis (only 4 stops). Staff is very friendly and helpful and breakfast is surprisingly varied with many choices, normally in this kind of ”budget” hotels there is not much to chose from but this was great. Room was very simple but good. I only felt the mattress was way too soft with a pit in it, but I must say I slept better than expected. All in all convenient if you need to visit the Sportpaleis for a concert or just want to stay a night in Antwerp for a reasonable price. Although the surroundings of the hotel ook a bit rough, the people staying in this hotel were all very normal and decent. Parking in front of the hotel is free which is also a benefit

My stay in this modern hotel was good. The check in was smooth. As the rooms are equipped with a system of electronic cards, it can be a bit complicated if your card isn’t activated (that was my case). The lift doesn’t move if your card isn’t activated. The room was standard, with a modern shower. Consider that the room isn’t cleaned every day. In my case, a 2-night stay, the room was cleaned at all. The releasing of “preserving the environment” is a bit too easy. The hotel saves a lot of money, but the price remains the same :-( Breakfast was good, either a variety of continental food.

It was a nice room, clean and the staff was very friendly . I arrived early and the rooms were moved around so that I could already check in and get a cleaned room. Very nice. The hotel is opposite to the cathedral, which is a nice location. All the sights were reachable on foot.

We LOVED this hotel, and wish we’d been able to stay much longer. The staff was extremely helpful, the room was lovely, but oh, oh, oh, the private terrace was HEAVEN! After negotiating stairs for the past two weeks to our rooms at various inns and hotels across Belgium, my husband could finally relax and not worry about tumbling down a staircase. There was only one step down to the room area. The front desk personnel were cheerful, knowledgeable, and very responsive to our needs. Breakfast was delicious and there was a lot to choose from. Best of all, it is super quiet here, even though the hotel is literally one street over from Grote Markt and all the attractions in the Old Town. We packed in a lot of sight-seeing, museums, and even visited the Diamond District before we had to leave. We would highly recommend Hotel Rubens.

What can I say this hotel is truly special! Some of the best service I've experienced. from the welcoming reception to the complementary mini bar they do all the little things right. I had a classic room that overlooked the charming courtyard. It was quite large with high ceilings for the most basic room. every room has a unique style and mine fit me perfectly. The 2 Australian sisters who run the hotel could not be more friendly. Location is just far enough off Cathedral and Grote market to be peaceful but close enough to be there in a few minutes walk.
