We are in a group of 6. the host is amazing, helped out with how to used the oxygen machine with essential for our elderly. We all had the room with fantastic view and the top roof view was majestic 🙏🙏🙏 we have been the most welcome and relaxing stay. the host was always be there to helped if you were need it. Special thanks for pick up from the north gate and also drop off this morning to catch our early train. Your kindness and helpful is definitely we will back to stay with you again. .

Lan Yu hotel was managed by a team of young, enthusiastic, and friendly staff who provided excellent service. They assisted us seamlessly with check-in and check-out, even helping carry our luggage to the car. The hotel was impeccably clean, leaving nothing to be desired, and the beds were comfortably soft—certainly not the hard type found in some places. Breakfast featured a set menu consisting of their traditional dishes which wasn’t exactly to my taste, but the staff’s attentiveness and willingness to refill my preferred items more than made up for it. We would gladly choose Lan Yu again the next time we visit Shangri-La.

The host is very friendly On our first day arrival , he go thru with us our itinerary and adjust some Has many little tibbit serve for free, free flow mineral water, probiotics The camp fire environment at night is also very cool Overall pleasant stay for 2 nights during our shangrila trip Location is nearby the old town but not exactly in it Car assessable location which I feel is good instead of staying inside the old town Amenities is one time use towel but if u don’t like u can request normal towel All amenities is average grade not as luxury type but ok for the price of the hotel charge Breakfast is the simple type but nice noodle

This homestay is the best! Very recommended 👌🏻 the host is very accommodating. The location is just perfect. It’s near to everything. There’s bed warmer and floor heater and the toilet comes with automatic bidet. There’s washing machine and even extra jackets that can be borrowed from the hotel as we undermine the cold in Shangrila the puffer jacket we borrowed really help us a lot with the cold. There’s pickup and dropoff service for free to and fro the Railway Station. The room that we book is really nice and the view is also nice. Please stay here if you come to Shangrila. You won’t regret it.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming hotel located right in the heart of the ancient town. The location is unbeatable, with everything within walking distance, making it the perfect base for exploring the area. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality of the owner family. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with such warmth and kindness that we immediately felt at home. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, even helping us with our heavy luggages. One of the highlights of our trip was when they personally drove us around the city! As a group of five, we struggled to find a taxi big enough to accommodate us, but the owners stepped in and made sure we didn’t miss out on seeing the best parts of the city. They also gave us fantastic recommendations, including a fun and engaging cultural show that we thoroughly enjoyed, as well as some amazing local restaurants that we wouldn’t have found on our own. The owner family’s warmth and genuine care for their guests truly set this hotel apart. If I could give them ten stars, I absolutely would—they deserve every single one! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and heartwarming stay. We can’t wait to come back!

Mengirim cinta dari Malaysia. Kami menginap di hotel ini selama 4 hari & 3 malam. Tempah 3 bilik. Penginapan sangat mengagumkan, tuan rumah sangat baik begitu juga lelaki yang menjemput kami dari lapangan terbang. Dia sangat baik dan bersedia membantu. Lokasi sangat strategik anda boleh berjalan kaki ke pusat bandar lama dukezong (1.5km) atau grab mana-mana didi. Sangat mudah untuk berulang-alik. Tuan rumah juga sangat baik membantu kami menempah perjalanan balagezong. Suka sangat di sini. Wo ai ni xianggelila!

The room was spacious and modern. The heated flooring and room was great in winter! Comfortable bed and good water pressure (hot water). Hotel was located within walkable distance to dukezong old town. Didi is able to drop us off right at the doorstep so no lugging of our luggages through the flooring required. Highly recommend to all and they have a cute and friendly cat!
