The temperature goes down to -10 at night but you can hardly feel it while inside the rooms. Their insulation is very good and the room feels warm everyday even without floor heating. Only downside was the low ceiling which we were not warned about. Hence, be extra careful when walking around in the room. The hosts are very helpful and would fetch/send us with the luggages to the North Gate. It’s within 5-10 mins walk to 四方街 and the 转经筒. Beautiful view of the whole 古城, which also means that it’s an upslope walk back to the accommodation. The dryer will be turned off between 11pm-930am everyday, but the hosts will kindly help you with your laundry if you ask! Highly recommended and one of my favourite stays in Yunnan!

First of all, throughout my Yunnan trip. I would say this hotel goes above and beyond to make me feel at home. The host were incredibly welcoming, even you can feel the warm welcome just before you check in, the host welcomed with me open arms, they will open the floor heater in advance before your arrival. Located in toldtown of shangrila and its easy for you to get around the oldtown by walking. Overall, this hotel truly exceeded my expectations! A truly unforgettable experience. They even provided a ride to the train station for FREE! Which was so thoughtful...Highly recommend this place for anyone that are looking to stay in the oldtown of Shangrila.

All i can say this hotel is very perfect stay for our Yunnan trip! This hotel truly exceeded all our expectations! The hotel provides everything you need for a comfortable and luxurious stay. The room is spacious, with a big TV screen and a cozy sofa for relaxation. The thoughtful amenities include a heated floor and bed, which were perfect for the cold weather. Even the toilet seat has a heater and a bidet, making it incredibly convenient and comfortable. They also provide additional oxygen in the room—a great touch, especially for those who might feel the effects of high altitude. The views from the hotel are absolutely breathtaking! Imagine waking up to stunning mountain scenery, lush green grasslands, and sheep grazing peacefully—it’s like a dream come true. To make our stay even more special, they upgraded our room for free to one with a luxurious bathtub! For Muslim travelers, this hotel is incredibly accommodating—they provided us with a delicious vegetarian breakfast, so we felt completely at ease. However, please be mindful when sitting on the sofas as their adorable, friendly dog loves to sit there too and might come to greet you. Their dog is super cute and playful, adding a warm and homey touch to the stay! One of the most delightful surprises was that the hotel provides traditional Chinese costumes for free! We had so much fun dressing up and taking beautiful photos. It made us feel like royalty from an ancient Chinese dynasty—truly a unique and unforgettable experience. Despite the language barrier, the staff were incredibly helpful in accommodating our needs. They went above and beyond to assist us, offering suggestions, pinpointing locations, and ensuring we had everything we needed. A big thumbs up to the staff member whose picture I shared (unfortunately, I forgot to ask her name). The hotel owner should truly give her credit for her exceptional service—it made our stay even more memorable! This hotel is located near the stunning Napahai Lake, not Dukezong Ancient City. If you’re planning to stay close to Dukezong, this might not be the best choice. But trust me, you don’t need to stay near Dukezong—this hotel is so good, it’s worth being a little further away. The peaceful surroundings, incredible service, and top-notch amenities make it more than worth it! Another fantastic perk is the nearby e-bike rental. We rented bikes and had an amazing time exploring the beautiful Napahai area and enjoying the serene countryside. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for travelers from Malaysia. It’s the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and hospitality. Trust me, you won’t regret staying here—it’s a memory you’ll cherish forever! Sorry I don’t take too much photo, a lot of videos only. Most comfortable inn stay compared to those we had in Lijiang and Dali. Clean and hygienic (pillow has disposable cover), has a lift (lifesaver with large luggage), bathroom has rack for hanging clothes, automatic toilet with good flush, projector with access to latest shows, self-service laundry facility, smell from people smoking at the lobby didn't travel to the room. Main gripe is that it's a good 20min walk to dukezong ancient town but it's otherwise a good location for getting didi. Would suggest the innkeeper to replace bed soon as the spring isn't working very well.

這次的民宿，到達後發現比網上照片更漂亮，有點驚喜。房間很有特色，我們選的家庭房估計有70平，住得爽歪歪😀 老闆娘和老闆都很熱情，幫忙拿行李，晚上有送助眠安睡奶，房間有加濕器和地暖，冬天也不冷。 對啦，愛咖啡的朋友可以讓老闆做咖啡/:coffee，現磨咖啡的香讓人好滿足！ 酒店裡古城入口不遠，方便逛古城，也不會被古城的喧鬧影響睡眠，院子裏可以停車，強烈推薦！
