Anemos Luxury Grand Resort

Myself and my husband are just back from honeymoon we stayed in the anemos luxury grand resort. All I can say is we had the most amazing time the resort is absolutely out of this world. Everything you need or want is on site. The resort is spotless The staff are amazing such lovely people. Food is top class a little different but was so nice to try different things. We had such a lovely relaxing time we visited the spa while we were there also which was fabulous and so enjoyable. We can not wait to return and would recommend this absolutely fabulous resort to anyone. Thank you for making our honeymoon so magical

The staff are exceedingly attentive and friendly. The rooms and surroundings are very well kept. In the mornings we were greeted by friendly maintenance staff working in all parts of the hotel complex. We ate in the buffet restaurant and we were fully satisfied by the quality and variety of dishes. The nearby beach is part of a long, sandy stretch of coastline that offers lovely views.

Everyone was just outstanding but Evanthia managed to stand out in this excellent team. All inclusive on last day Other reviews mentioned it wasn't all inclusive on the last day. Which is odd compared to other 5 star resorts. You actually get a voucher to cover your last meal. Although we weren't told about this and offered to pay, Evanthia wouldn't take it and called reception to sort out. This nice touch and the wonderful week we had made us decide to book Anemos for our break next year. Thank you Evanthia. Note to management just include all inclusive for the last day few hours between checkout and airport departure. Food and wine I love Greek wine and we did not have a bad one - the food was varied and tasty. We had the odd dish we didn't like but 90% food was lovely. Got all our a la carte bookings by visiting guest relations on first morning. Things like fillet steak and some seafood dishes were an extra charge but that's standard in most places. Delicious fresh coffee and fresh orange juice poured for us at breakfast. One of the waiters (tattooed) remembered one of us had almond milk. Getting around the resort I prefer walking took me 10 min to walk the length of the resort, but there were golf carts everywhere. Beach Sandy and beautiful, gradual depth increase. 3 min walk in well maintained underpass, but again golf buggies. Downside waiter service a little slow, hard to get their attention. Sirocco beach restaurant Lovely restaurant on beach for lunch/dinner. Lunch did not have to book. Dinner is a la carte. Entertainment was excellent

A wonderful resort, with an amazing sea view and a very kind personel. The rooms are big, equipped with everything you may need and very clean. The beach is with fine sand. The transfer from the hotel to the beach is made with golf cars. It is really a place where it is worth to come back.

The staff at this resort were exemplary. Always friendly and helpful, always smiling regardless of the time of day it was or how many hours they had been on shift. Rooms were of a high standard and kept spotless by great cleaning staff. Food was good if a little cold but that can’t be helped when the hotel is catering for so many guests (600+). Would highly recommend to everyone.

We were very pleasantly surprised by the way they took care of us right upon our late arrival. The feeling was: 'now you are ours and we will take care of you'. Most of the staff strive to do their jobs to the best of their ability and are friendly. The resort is very well located with a beautiful, spacious beach. Carts constantly run through the large and well-maintained resort or to the beach, so you don’t have to walk much. We were lucky to have a beautiful room with a view of the sea and surroundings. The food options are varied and absolutely excellent. Everyone can find something to their taste. Children are also well taken care of. The kids' mini club is staffed by wonderful ladies who the children immediately fall in love with. We also appreciated the quality and reliable car rental right in the resort, which allowed us to explore the beauties of Crete. The negatives are mostly minor (a broken sunbed by the pool, occasional trash between the sunbeds on the beach). Overall, this has been our most beautiful seaside stay yet. We will definitely return to this pleasant resort someday.

It’s a lovely resort, with fantastic amenities, great service, lovely staff and a perfect beach. Really enjoyed our time there. We went half board and the range of food every day was great. Couldn’t fault the staff who were very friendly, from the cleaning staff to reception, they were all lovely. The golf buggy service and driver were great, really helped us getting around with a toddler.

We were a couple age 55 in October 2024 + Buffet quality and fresh both breakfast and evening + The cleaning of the room perfect + Nice beach with many sunbeds, however 200m away + Large classic hotel room with 2 beds and a small terrace + Nice children's area with pools etc, far from the "adult pool" - Expensive, mandatory price supplements at half board (drinks such as coffee, cola, ice cream 5 eur each, 1 wine glass 8 eur, mineral water 8 eur, etc.) lunch with 2 Greek salads, a tzatziki and 2 cola for 40 eur... the same at a nice restaurant in Rethymnon costs half... we saw guests who brought their own wine bottles for dinner, is of course a cheaper solution but should not be needed... - 10 eur tourist tax per day and room - Small pools, with max 1,20 depth - "Big" pool not heated - Tiny fridge with minibar, nothing for own drinks / sandwiches / self-catering Information: Fixed parasols that cannot be moved with 2 chairs per parasol, applies to the entire pool area All-inclusive (buffet lunch, drinks and snacks) can be purchased for 56 euros per person per day You can walk along the beach or on a smaller road to the village of Giorgoupolous, where is nice with cafe, restaurants and small shops with reasonable prices. Bus to Chania and Rethymnon runs 1 time per hour outside the hotel. Anemos is an OK hotel but unfortunately does not correspond to the price level either for all small expenses, left there satisfied but with a feeling of being played

A little over a week ago we stayed at the Anemos Hotel. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a holiday in Greece. We stayed in a luxurious room with a sea view, which had stylish furnishings, a large beautiful bathroom, a large comfortable bed on the first floor and 2 beds on the second floor. There was an important detail at the spacious balcony - a hanger for drying beach towels and swimsuits. On the first day at the hotel, a pleasant sign of attention awaited us: a bottle of champagne. The hotel inside consists of two-story buildings, which are located in such a way that you practically do not see people, and it seems that you live there alone, in peace and quiet. Inside, the hotel courtyard is decorated with water pools, which look especially nice in the evening, with various lighting. Every evening there is some kind of entertainment program, so in the evening you can sit outside and watch the performance of musicians, singers, etc. Our room was cleaned Perfectly, we felt the desire to please us when the bed was decorated with rose petals. Every day we were brought bottled water to drink. The food in the hotel was just super. People with any tastes and diets will be satisfied, because the choice of dishes is so diverse that it takes into account different food traditions. If you do not eat meat, this will not affect your food choices. In addition to delicious food, you will find many different sauces and seasonings, and, importantly, there are all the possibilities for healthy eating: various fruits and vegetables and fresh juice in abundance. Well, and lovers of pastries and desserts will get great pleasure from the quality and variety. The hotel has its own beach, which you can drive to (free open cars throughout the day) or walk along a special tunnel, which takes a couple of minutes. The beach is clean with beautiful sand, tapchans and umbrellas are free. By the way, beach towels are provided at the hotel, you do not need to bring them with you. The sea is crystal clear, blue in the full sense of the word, surrounded by mountains. There is a cafe and a restaurant on the beach. I would like to note the work of the staff: reception, drivers, cooks and waiters, cleaning - all employees show care and attention to the guests, and this is very pleasant. I would like to express my gratitude for a wonderful holiday to everyone who made it so for us, and especially to Mr. Antonios Vogiatzidakis for his personal attention and willingness to make our stay as comfortable and unforgettable as it was possible!
