I travel all over the world, stay in hotels all the time, and this must be the worst hotel manager I’ve ever experienced. On 2 occasions, when we left our room, we turned the lights off and when we returned, the lights were on and no cleaning was done. I then called up the hotel manager/owner to query this and he got incredibly angry, abusive, and hateful on the phone. He was incredibly disrespectful and threatening to me and my girlfriend He said if anything is missing from the room we should “call the police” and that he “doesn’t like people like me” and that it’s “his house, not mine”. He also complained that we were disturbing him by calling and said we can “just leave” and that we can “have a refund” but no refund has been issued. Apparently, cleaning is done 5 days and week, and we were there for 3 days and no cleaning was done. Thankfully, no valuables were left in our room when we left so there was nothing to steal. This ruined the trip and made my girlfriend feel threatened and anxious the whole time. Message to the manager/owner: learn how to ACTUALLY run a hotel and how to treat your paying GUESTS correctly. AVOID at all costs - there’s so many better places in Arta.
