I rarely leave reviews but my 4 night stay at Li Finistreddi has got to be the worst hospitality I have ever seen, for any category of hotel, so I am shocked to see this rated as a luxury accommodations. 1) management: the management and hotel staff at the front desk are appallingly unhelpful, if not dismissive of any requests or situations requiring attention. Our room had hot water challenges, and the staff said they’d send someone to take care of it. The following day, it happened yet again, so we inquired about it again. The manager said he has no idea what was done to address the issue as he is “not in the trade” of fixing plumbing and said he did his best by sending a maintenance staff. He then accused of falsifying our experience since the hot water resumed when they tested it. When we asked for a different room, they insisted the room was fully occupied, although we could see the hotel was never full and available for booking online. We gave up but then unfortunately had another encounter with the same room the following night at 11pm when we returned from dinner to find we had a trail of ants that plagued the room and ants all over our items. We had no food in the room and the ants seemed to be everywhere. The management’s response was to give me an ant spray and to “clean the ants”. I asked him to come look as this is not a situation for mere spray and likely requires professional pest control and said we did not wish to stay. After 45 min of arguing and being told there were no other rooms, and showing how we could see there were other rooms available for booking online, they finally said we may be able to stay one night in a room of higher category, at 1am, which honestly was not welcome and we would have preferred a refund for remainder of the stay and gone elsewhere. 2) room conditions: as described above, the Lavanda room we were in had many issues and generally the rooms and bathrooms are quite small for 520euros per night. unfortunately even the upgraded room had ants so I’m not sure if they are dealing with an issue.. 3) location and property are fine and the best part of the property is the view at the restaurant. Absent that, service, accommodations and level of detail to hospitality are not worth the 5 star or luxury category and adequate for 3 star price range and experience. We discovered Petra Segreta too late during our visit as we would have much rather booked our honeymoon there. Li Finistreddi seems to emulate PS but falls short on all accounts, including the overpriced restaurant and bar menu. Take your money and time and experience to PS or another luxury hotel in Sardinia as this is not it.

Beautifully serene and aesthetically appealing to the eye. Gorgeous view of the water from the countryside and tucked away from crowds and noise. Two stunning pools and lobby/lounge area that is never crowded. Should have car available or rent one to get to quaint town 8 minutes away, otherwise you are limited to the grounds. Cuisine was tasty and service staff was welcoming. Upscale in taste and price but we were very pleased with our stay. Would recommend.

Excellent experience from check-in to check out. Beautiful grounds, luxurious rooms, efficient and kind staff, and SO peaceful. Did not have opportunity to utilize the spa services but every detail about the stonework and landscape feels like a Garden of Eden. Cuisine was meticulous even though I'm a mac-n-cheese person. Highly recommend.

The front desk staff is rude. No dining options after 2:30pm it’s overpriced and not worth it. They don’t even include drinking water for 1000 euros a night! The man at the front desk is arrogant I think he forgets he works here and does not own the place. The pools are tiny and not heated. Absolutely terrible DO NOT stay here!!

👍🏻 It’s a nice hotel, good facilities and a very nice spa area. 👍🏻 The trea**ents are also very good. 👍🏻 The hotel restaurant is very good and the setting superb. 👍🏻 Shuttle service to the beach is handy. 👎🏻 Room was small for the amount paid. 👎🏻 One of the best things about holidays is being able to order snacks - like a club sandwich, poolside. However, we were not allowed eat anything by the pool, and had to walk back up the steps into the hotel to have lunch which was strange and not great service really. 👎🏻 For the room service menu in the evening/ night, you can only order from the fancy menu off the hotel (gourmet) restaurant. There should be casual options on a room service menu for a five star hotel. Room service charges are also very expensive. 👎🏻 Some staff are pleasant and friendly, whilst others are more mixed It’s a good hotel but given it commanded high prices, I expected a little more.

We had a great time at Il Finistreddi. The front desk staff were extremely attentive and helpful when checking in and realized that we were traveling with other couple friends so put our rooms near each other. The property is stunning - up on a hill overlooking the ocean but also far enough away that you get a feel for the Sardinia landscape. Breakfast was delicious and included in the room rate. The bartender, Roberto, was our favorite!! He was friendly and excited to make some American classic cocktails for us. Whenever we were thirsty he was there asking if we needed a drink. We stayed for dinner one night and the food was delicious. The Maitre'D was attentive and gave us special care throughout our stay. The rooms were perfect for what we needed with comfortable beds, a full mini bar and a porch, although it was pretty hot to sit outside. The hotel called us cabs every time we needed to go somewhere and helped us plan our days with different beaches to visit.

This hotel went above and beyond to accommodate every need we could throw at them . The hotel is located on the most pristine property. The scenery is incredible. The rooms were lovely with very comfortable beds. The breakfast was spectacular. They would literally cook anything you wanted. The affiliated beach club is really nice as well. The hotel is a short distance from Porto Cervo, however, we had to talk ourselves into leaving the property because it was so nice. The spot is quite small, so I recommend you back trea**ents in advance even if you only intend to take advantage of the sauna and Turkish Bath. I think the highlight of this property is how personalized the service is. After our first meal, they knew which guests preferred still versus sparkling water. They also knew which guest needed a lumbar pillow in his seat. They knew who preferred Parmesan versus Buratta cheese, etc. If I could give this hotel, a 10 star rating I would..

The hotel booked us at the beach club associated with the hotel. Sadly the weather was awful when we arrived and we tried to organise coming back to the hotel for lunch but they were extremely unhelpful stating we could have lunch but they wouldn’t allow us on the shuttle bus leaving the beach for the 5 mins journey back and to organise our own taxi. Understand it’s a hotel service but given it was pouring and barely anyone was still at the beach it was very strange to accept us for lunch but not help us get there! Glad we didn’t stay at such a snooty place.
