"While we stayed near the end of the season, the Grand Relais Dei Nuraghi is an exceptional hotel. The rooms are nearly all suites in the grounds, all with their private patios or balconies. The hotel's restaurant is exceptional, so much so that we ate there four nights out of seven. The maitre d' Ernesto is a credit to the hotel. Residents enjoy access to a small but delightful private beach with its own beach bar. An outdoor nightclub, Phi Beach is nearby, but this closed for the summer several weeks before our visit - so no thumping music to disturb our sleep!"

It’s clear they have built a culture where genuine hospitality comes first. Luxury hotels can offer beautiful rooms and great amenities, but it’s the people who create lasting memories. "The white holiday cottage is very Greek, the pool is large, the breakfast is rich, the room terrace is the pool view, the restaurant food is not expensive, but the sound insulation is very poor, the fence room closes my room will vibrate. The hotel location is 7 minutes away from the city center by taxi, taxi charges EUR 35 per trip"

"We didn't like Porto Cervo at all. It was a city built by modern people from wasteland. It has no cultural foundation and gives people a fake feeling. The waiters' attitude is also hypocritical. The prices are extremely high, and the restaurant's food is not authentic. This dissatisfaction has affected our correct evaluation of this hotel. We do not recommend it."

The staff were friendly and very professional. Great tips on where to visit from our waitress. Thoroughly recommend this hotel, I’m sure we will visit again."

"The location is beautiful with sea views to the misty hills beyond, idyllic. The hotel has the facilities but the building itself is old- and there comes a point where rustic becomes plain tired and no amount of white paint can hide that fact. The main restaurant reflects the hotel’s age, the breakfast buffet is cramped and I have seen better offerings in lesser hotels, but service is generally good- and occasionally exceptional. The elephant in the room is the prices- €18 for two coffees…….no the hotel is not that special. It’s ten minutes by taxi to Porto Cervo- €40 each way and they claim their credit card machine doesn’t work. I have no problem paying for value, but this hotel needs to up its game- it isn’t as good as it thinks it is!"
