Hotel berhampiran stone starvation, Aswan

The choice of accommodation in Aswan was varied, but I wanted to find something special. And it was during my research that the Nubian Palace, in Nubian Village, came up. How wonderful it was to arrive at the hotel, do the check-in while drinking a welcome hibiscus juice, and then find a wonderful room Nubian style. The bedroom, with 2 super comfortable single beds, also had a desk, chair and closet. Outside the bedroom, but within the area corresponding to the bedroom, in a small patio also with a table and chairs, was the private bathroom with shower. On the first morning, because I had a trip to Abu Simbel that started at dawn, the hotel prepared some breakfast boxes that were very useful. Furthermore, all the meals (open air) I had there were very good and in large quantity. Last but not least… The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly and efficient. They contributed to making this experience at the Nubian Palace a very successful one, which means that I definitely want to return there again in the future.

住在島上，很安靜也很方便，出口就是KFC。最主要的是乾淨。空調製冷都不錯，露台視野不錯。緊靠nubian dreams餐廳，吃當地飯也方便。nubian dreams餐廳算是當地很好吃的餐廳之一。

Wonderful experience! This place is the best place to stay when you are in Aswan if you like peace and quite and beautiful views. The location is magical right in front of Philae temple, You reach the hotel by taxi boat (check in and check out are free drive) You are far from the city center please keep this in mind! But for us this was perfect. we wanted a place to relax in a nice quiet environment to end our holiday in busy Egypt. THE STAFF All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The service was great! The welcome hibiscus drink was a nice extra touch! THE HOTEL GROUNDS The hotel is situated on a private island in front of Philae temple. The buildings are build in a traditional way with respect for nature. We really loved the use of natural materials it gives an extra connection with the environment. The Vegetable garden is a beautoful oasis. they grow their own food to use in the restaurant. We also loved the cats and dogs (Rita and Anton) They have a private beach with river access and also kayaks. THE RESTAURANT The restaurant location is breathtaking, right in front of Philae temple. Its not only a beautiful place, the food is amazing to! And you can tell because of the large groups who visit the restaurant for lunch when they end their visit in the temple. We had lunch and diner in the restaurant and it was perfect! Very fresh and delicious and a lot of choice on the menu. Breakfast is also very good. At night you can watch the lightshow on the temple. THE ROOM The room is very basic but good. It is small but for us perfect. The bed is comfortable and the balcony beautiful with nile views and even the temple complex! The bathroom was very basic, the room floated while showering. There is no wifi in the room but that is absolute not a problem for us. TRANSFERS The taxi boat transfers were very good. we had no problems with our transportation to the city and the airport. They even arranged a boat for us at 3u30 in the morning because we had an early flight to Cairo. They also made us a breakfast box to take on the plane! The hotel staff is very accommodating to all of your stay needs. Every has a smile and makes you feel welcomed everyday. The hotel grounds is clean, well kept and many walking paths with beautiful foliage. The food is excellent and the rooms have spectacular views of the Nile River and the city of Aswan.

1, location: very good. Not far away from train station (1km) and 400m from KFC (ferry point). 2, Room a bit old 3, no WiFi 4, Breakfast is good. 5, The reception has nearly no clue about the Abu Simbel tour. They will probably offer you private tour but you do have other choice. Try going to Hotel Philae (400m from Hotel Obelisk) and ask the tour there.

This hotel is located in downtown Aswan close to everything. We were in one of their suite rooms that had 2 rooms inside with a bathroom with a huge jacuzzi. The staff was friendly. Check in was easy and the breakfast was excellent. We had the amazing view of the nile river and the city. Will surely stay here again when we come to Aswan

We travelled with Egypt Tour Portal and as part of our 5 star package, we were assigned this old, dated, shabby, dirty hotel. Claimed to be 5 stars, in reality a poor 3 star. We checked in and despite having requested a double bed, we were given twin beds. This was rectified by the intervention of the tour guide and the manager of the hotel. The hotel lobby is disgustingly dirty, the floor and the beautiful chandeliers are filthy. The AC vents in the ceiling had not been cleaned in a long long time. Our bedroom was old, shabby and dirty. The bed linen was shabby and the floor was filthy as was the furniture. The AC in the room was very poor. We dined in the restaurant that evening. A room similar to a large canteen. The food was appalling. I ordered a fillet steak and did not touch it. The manager did ask me was everything ok, but I failed to see the point to exchange it for more of the same. Our dinner bill for four of us was €150. Expensive! We were to receive a breakfast box on checkout as we had an early tour. No breakfast box was forthcoming. This hotel typifies what we experienced in Egypt. Tourism is the main income in this country, yet no reinvestment occurs in their prime source of revenue. This is a cash cow that one day will come to an end. Avoid at all costs.
