Hotel berhampiran Statue of St. Chrysostom Smyrna, Athens

Very good: location and cool furniture. Considering the price, I prefer this hotel’s room than A for Athens Acropolis view in lower floor. But in terms of hospitality of receptionists, A for Athens are nicer. In brief, it’s hard to say which is the best 😆.

Good location, a street of bars and restaurants just around the corner, fantastic views of the hilltop ruins from the rooftop terrace, and friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are a little small and dated but comfortable enough.

This is an exceptionally lovely place to stay in the centre of Athens. Walking distance to the Acropolis, Plaka District and all the fabulous restaurants. Very nice rooms and amenities with very friendly staff. Excellent service. Make sure you go up to the roof top bar for food and drinks with a fabulous night time view of the Acropolis and make sure you say hi to Marios… the best and friendliest of bar hosts!

Negative points:Breakfast buffet has less variety of food. It needs to include fruit squeezer and fried eggs. Black people stay nearby. Positive points: location is very good with 2 metro stations, especially omonia where 2 metro lines interact. They are very helpful for tourist to visit interesting places like acropolis. Staff service is excellent. Indian restaurants nearby offer delicious but cheaper food.

Minus: The toothbrush holder looked very dirty, I would probably give it a deep clean. There were some signs of mold in the shower and the toilet paper holder was loose from the wall. The rain shower head lived a life of its own, very inconsistent with how the water came out, it also took time for the water to warm up. If you care about noise, don't get a room with a street view, the windows really weren't soundproof at all. The location is a bit sketchy at night. I would also recommend the hotel to advertise to people not to waste food at the breakfast buffet because there was A LOT of it by others when we were there. This is a big thing for hotels in the north. Pros: The room looked quite newly renovated. Seems like the hotel was under renovation because when we were there it was a completely different style from the breakfast room to the room. It's probably going to be very pretty when it's finished. Plus for the minibar and kettle in the room. Plus for a separate toilet room and shower room. Great view from the balcony in the room and from the roof terrace. Great, down to earth staff. Also a very good breakfast, I have stayed in many different hotels and this is one of the best breakfasts in Europe for me.

Really good hotel, close too the centre of athens. Around 20 mins walk to the centre so not so bad. The hotel itself is budget but we loved it, cost room, aircon, TV, bathroom with amazing shower. I would highly recommend this hotel. Perfect base for city exploring. The staff were nice and friendly and the cleaners were nice.

Really unprofessional staff at reception, the story is I do join 2 nights meeting event here My group booked 2 nights already without payment (the principal would support 1 night and I must pay 1 night as our agreement) Then I booked for my own 1 night and online paid, remain 1 night that our principal would support Once I arrived for check in, the reception asked for 1 night pay instantly and they couldn't find my name/my husband's name in any booking -- I had never faced an awful situation before (don't check but easy to change, don't care for my information, don't listen to me when I informed the name of group at all) Hotel staff can't find a booking even in trip.com or from the group 😂 then I need to pay 1 night (which the principal will pay later) and he still ask for my booking number in trip.com, so poor practice I have never seen before such a who got all the data but unskilled to check any... It might be a typical person here for no service mind and don't try to understand I take 2 hours to talk and become my fault for duplicate booking....😒 and he ask me for ”how to know I paid in the 2nd night 🙄 ask me to show online statement in my e-banking !?!?!? ,Once I showed he said how to know it is mean to Stanley (statement show the perfect similar of decimal with pay under name trips.com....????) So senselessly staff However I finally got back my money, with the assistance of my Greek colleagues If you have to book here, please don't expect them to be close to standard for a 1 star hotel actually It's one of the most rough service from my experience Good cleaning room, near subway but nothing around, simple amenity

LOVED staying at this hotel and would stay again if I were visiting Athens again. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Harris (the manager I think, he was constantly on reception or at the bar area) we were warmly welcomed. We arrived around 11am (check in was supposed to be 3pm but he allowed us to check into our room immediately - and also upgraded us to a beautiful room with a massive balcony. The room was gorgeous and modern and had many lovely amenities including toothbrush and toothpaste sets and lovely bathroom toiletries. There was a fridge with bottled water and the room had air conditioning and the biggest walk-in shower ever. So luxurious and modern. We were also able to store our cases after a late check out. A newish hotel, this place is very contemporary and makes use of all the limited space it has in a very efficient way. We were checked in by Valga who was friendly, helpful and efficient. Our room was spotless and cool. The beds are very hard, so be warned if you like a soft mattress. The room had all we needed, except for milk which you have to get from reception. A continental Breakfast can be purchased for €13. There’s a small gym if you feel inclined to use it. Valga helped with a good restaurant recommendation and called good value taxis for us. She’s was a super-star. Thank you for a great stay.

Very nice little hotel, close to the ferry gates and the metro station, extremely friendly staff. The room was very confortable, nespresso machine and minibar. The elevator is slow, so we took the stairs most of the time. Would definitely stay again.
