PLEASE READ - WORST ACCOMMODATION EVER! I WISH I could give this place no stars. Their customer service is appauling! I am shocked with how we were treated and would rather stay anywhere else. My partner and I had booked to stay here for two nights. On the last day we checked out at 10am and asked if we could leave our bags behind the counter to come and collect later. The issue is, you cannot enter the building unless you have a key card, and as we were checked out we didn’t have one. But as this is standard there is always someone there to let you in. We returned when we were ready to leave and no one was there. We rung and rung the doorbell for 30 minutes… We tried to call their phone but… wait for it… they have NO working number. We proceeded to wait longer another half an hour and MISSED OUR FLIGHT. All our luggage, belongings and keys were in there. Once someone came down they said they were upstairs. We had to pay $200 to rebook our missed flights for the next day and asked if we could have a free night. The lady offered to pay but we said no. She gave us the key card and let us have a free night. We were approached later by another man who asked us to pay. we explained what happened and said we either stay here for free or will find somewhere else. We were HAPPY to go anywhere else if they didn’t want a free night. We were not staying there or forcing ourselves there. The man said he will see what he can do. The next day we checked out. The first girl (who’s fault it was to begin with) was there and said nothing. They later proceeded to CHARGE MY CARD!! we approached the manager and turns out the girl LIED!! and said we were just going to pay and that it wasn’t her fault. And the manager basically said we have to pay. she said she can check the security footage to see if our story is right, that we waited, and waited, and rung (We were on the phone with 105 as we were so desperate) and then confirm also the man talking to us. we gave her ALL the times. Yet we have heard nothing. it has been ages since our stay, no contact, no refund. AWFUL Not to mention unfriendly staff, awful quality rooms, awful place in general. Please spend your money somewhere else x

這酒店比較適合商務出差,地理位置是亮點,但是房間內是沒有水的,要到電梯旁的飲水機去接水太奇葩了這個,其他都還好,但是這個價位沒有浴缸也是比較遺憾。前台有中國人還是很方便的。裝修就這樣吧 比較新。

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Its fantastic location, just across the harbor/ferry terminal with plenty of restaurants nearby, was a highlight. The room is functional, featuring a sitting space with a view. The hotel boasts a good restaurant with excellent service. We particularly appreciated the Japanese young staff members working as a bellboy and a restaurant server. The only downside is the absence of amenities like a pool or hot tub, and the parking comes at a cost of $45 per night.

We had a delicious lunch here to celebrate a birthday. It serves Asian fusion, and as the chef is Korean, I believe it has a lot of delicious Korean inspired dishes. We had the Grilled Prawns, Fried Chicken and Meat Balls. All served beautifully, the tastes a delicious explosion of flavors in the mouth, and so yummy, I could have kept on eating. The views are enormous!! So lovely - soaking up the sun, being served by a lovely friendly chatty waitress, and eating delicious food, with amazing views and eating yummy food with great company. We will be back.

I'm in LOVE! Cosy, Welcoming, Boutiquey. Went for a night away from my boys felt like I'd had a week at a spa. The staff were attentive and kind without being stiff necked. Room service from the restricted late night menu was DELICIOUS and the in-house breakfast was a perfect selection of light continental or eggs any way. The open fire was warm and inviting being tended by a waiter but i really did feel like I could put a log on it if I had I had itched that urge, My room had views of the city ferry's coming on a gloomy day. I happily watched them from my bed tucked up with my selection of pillows and the soft cotton and wool blanket. I'll be back sooner than later I expect and I'll be asking for the same room. An awesome example of the best of what our city has to offer. Made me proud to be a JAFFA!
The Sebel Quay West Auckland

I booked for two nights in a one bedroom apartment and was disappointed with the apartment given to me as it was on the 5th floor, not a great view of a derelict building and the room was very tired. When I mentioned this to the lovely Eunice at reception she straight away apologised and offered to speak with her manager to find me a different room. She couldn't help for my first night but brought me up a selection of goodies to compensate. First thing the next morning I was given a great apartment on the 21st floor which was clean and tidy with an amazing view. I just want to thank both Eunice and the duty manager Nithesh as they both went the extra mile and made me feel so welcome and valued. Their actions completely changed my experience. I travel all the time and will definitely look to rebook at The Sebel Quay West after this experience. It is in a great location with several express supermarkets close by and of course great shopping, the viaduct and so many great takeaway outlets/restaurants metres away. The kitchen is well stocked and the apartment is spacious with a separate laundry, bathroom etc plus the added bonus of a bath as well as the shower. Their onsite cafe 'UP' offers an extensive menu for breakfast/lunch. I have stayed at the Sebel on the viaduct before and would recommend them both.
