Excellent choice if you are traveling with kids. The room was very clean and well equipped. The kids loved their own separate sleeping area which had a single bed and a bunk bed that is capable of housing up to 4 kids. Room price included a complimentary visit to the top of the sky tower.

I had king size bed room by myself, the room very clean and the service very nice also helped me to print out my documents. Plus have nice breakfast. The location was very convenient next city tower and close to most of the restaurants and shopping centers.
Just 10 minutes I walked to the cruise. It was really great! I will order again next time!

The location of Barclay Suites is great, although the area is currently under road work construction out front. The reception staff were very friendly and accommodating to any of our queries and needs. The two bedroom, two bathroom suite was very convenient to have on our travels. It is a great offering not many of the other hotels have. The cleanliness was not up to par, however, as there was multiple stained furniture pieces, pillow cases along with debris, dirt, and dust present throughout the unit. Unit could use a very good thorough cleaning to bring it up to standard. Further, the two in one washer dryer is not very good. Made our whites grey, and did not dry properly. The cycles are hours, some 4 hours plus long, so it’s not really efficient or useable at all.

My room was better than I expected, booked a double bed last minute and it was worth it. Thanks to Trip coins, I saved a few pennies. You might not see some utensils in the room but feel free to ask the receptionist for plates and bowls, stool, pots, etc.

Minor issues were that the room was quite minimalist - for example no shelf in the shower area and I wasn't able to communicate a late check in without phoning, although think this is a more general issue with Trip than the hotel itself

Very rude receptionists when I asked for return of deposit taken at checkin even though room had been paid for in full. Was told it would take a few days and if it didn’t come into my account to contact my bank because they sometimes hold onto money and don’t pay it in. Complete rubbish!!! I’m sure my credit card company would be interested to know about this policy to refuse to return deposits at checkout … attitude of male receptionist spoiled my stay I was made to feel uncomfortable because I asked for return of deposit. Would not stay here again or recommend based on this.

Abstract Hotel is a convenient choice for travelers due to its proximity to the CBD in Auckland. The hotel offers comfortable rooms with essential amenities such as kettle, toothbrush, soap, shampoo, air drier, complementary water, desk and a fan. Helpful staff, and a restaurant with a variety of option for breakfast or lunch. The location is very central, making it ideal to see the main spots of the city. The rooms are a bit small but the price is really cheap that what you get is more than enough for what you get. Overall, it’s a practical and affordable option for visitors.

AAylwinDBooked Novotel at AKL airport since it was the closest hotel. Room was fantastic and since we had a flight out the next day, saved a lot of stress of getting a shuttle bus with our bags. The room was furnished with a very comfortable bed and bathroom was huge. Even though the AKL airport runway was visible from the room, due to double pane glass windows, we did not hear sounds of jets taking off or landing.
Highly recommended if staying to catch early flight out to save time and hassle

She was from Nepal and her name was candita- I’m sorry I don’t remember it accurately. She took the time to help me order an Uber and suggested the haka demonstration at the museum. Her bright smile and helpfulness made my trip so much better

It was little far from airport , but there is a yellow bus which connects airport and hotels every specific intervals.

The room is spacious and cups and bowls with other kitchen items are very helpful and clean. just that i heard neighour room's noise like kids talking and adult snooring :D I will book again if i need to change flights in short days.

The service at the Gateway Airport Hotel was top-notch. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always willing to go the extra mile to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. From the warm greeting at check-in to the helpful assistance with my luggage, every interaction I had with the staff was pleasant and professional.
The hotel's facilities were modern, clean, and well-maintained. My room was spacious and comfortable, with a plush bed, a large flat-screen TV, and a convenient workspace. The bathroom was clean and well-appointed, with a great shower and plenty of towels. I also appreciated the hotel's fitness center and business center, which were both well-equipped and easily accessible.
One of the highlights of my stay was the food. The hotel's restaurant served a delicious breakfast buffet, with a wide range of options to suit all tastes. I also enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, which offered a great selection of local and international dishes. The food was tasty, well-presented, and reasonably priced.

PPengguna TetamuThis hotel is a great value choice if you're arriving in Auckland and want to establish a base. My sister and I stayed there on 10th-11th July as I had made the reservation because of the hotels proximity to Auckland Airports and to Snap Rentals, a car hire company (very good) I have used before in NZ. We called the hotel reception and shortly afterwards they collected us (Exit door 9) in a minibus. Our transfer to our hotel took about 12 minutes. Check-in was quick, our room was very clean, en-suite, the beds were comfortable and we had a fridge and usual toiletry accessories. Food and beverages were still available (at 23.20hrs) from the bar.
We both slept well and the next morning, a transfer service was available back to the airport to very near the car hire business location, but the driver very kindly took me directly to Snap Rentals, and I returned to the hotel which has easily accessible ample free parking to collect my sister.
As the hotel had been so good, fantastic value and the staff had been so helpful, I decided to re-book for 15th-16th July for the night before our return flight to the UK. Once again, a great value price with the helpful service as on our previous visit. My sister ordered some food on this occasion - and it was very good and again, great value. Don't be put off by the remarkably keen prices, this is a great little hotel with more to offer than we had time to enjoy (swimming pool etc). I'd highly recommend it.

SshinebykamMy time at this hotel was amazing! The view from my room was so pretty, looking out at the water. The staff were really nice, and my room was super clean . Also , Being a tea lover, I was pleasantly surprised by the extensive selection of tea flavors available in the room which was complimentary . It was a delightful treat to explore the various options and indulge in my favorite beverage while taking in the beautiful views. Overall, my stay at was a perfect blend of relaxation and rejuvenation. I left feeling refreshed . I definitely suggest it to others!
