My wife and I arrived at the Avignon campsite on 14th May 2024 with our motorhome, where we decided that we would stay 4 nights with our ACSI card. I was asked to pay the 4 nights in advance, which I reluctantly did, even though this was the first time I have been asked to pay in advance during the low season. Unfortunately, both my wife and I were poorly the next day and it affected me quite badly. We were due to travel to Vienna from this site but decided, because of my ill health to travel home and did so directly to the shuttle. On informing the office of our early departure, we were told that they could not refund us from the site and we would need to contact head office, who would be able to help. On our return home we contacted the head office, only to be told that refunds were not given but they would give us a token which we could use during the year. Little chance of that ever happening, you say...!!! I think that this attitude is very poor, not only reducing the value of the ACSI card in low season by insisting on prepayment but then refusing to refund when asked to do so. I think that it should be made clear from the outset that payment is required upfront, not at end of stay and that refunds are not given. What ever happened to trust and good will. The whole philosophy and freedom of low season ACSI travel would it seems, be destroyed by Aquadis-loisers by taking this attitude
